i dont really know where to put this... but i need help T_T

im just wondering if any one can show me how to cut a drawing out of a picture. ive found lots of good pictures but... i cant cut the character out and put it into my picture... T_T ive done some with the magic thingy but it doesnt work very wel... if any one can help, please!! T_T

I use the Pen tool to extract stuff out of images. Here's linkage to a tutorial :

Make sure to create a shape around the image you're gonna extract [i]only[/i]. After you're done, Ctrl+click the Shape Layer you've made to select it (you should see the "marching ants" border 'round the shape). Hit Ctrl+Shift+I or go to Select> Inverse. Click the layerwhere your image is, Delete then Deselect (Ctrl+D).

I also use the pen tool, but here are two tutorials that show specifically how to remove characters from a picture using either the pen tool or the polygonal lasso tool.
