Now for the first three I love the complemtary color scheme. I really can tend to be a color whore at times but yeah, This may be a personal kind of thing, But I really tend to like viewing the whole " The banner ends here but LOOK! the picture is still going!" thing. Which appears to be the cas in what you did in the first three. I espically like what you did in the one with Temari though, if I had to say out of all of those three those were the ones that you put the most things outside and such.

As for the last two I am so jelous! I love the look of very odd, abstract looking backgrounds. and even in those you appear to have no flaws, yet I sill pretty much am an amature at creating works of art, the bits of text embedded in all of them are pretty sneaky, I should do one of Gaara's secret lust for boobies...

Other than that there is absolutly nothing wrong with the banners here. The only thing I would suggest is probaly using a wider range of fonts, but your choice could be a more personal choice while I really like fancy and odd looking things. If I had to pic a favorite I would suggest Agent Orange because of the the kinds of the abstract like background you had on the left side of the banner and the right. All and all good job, If I was a professional artist I would probaly give you a 10/10. Yet I am not...for now.[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]

Thanks for the lovely compliments, too, it's much appreciated. The reason I use pixel fonts all the damn time is because...I love them like children. D: Actually, it's because I find it really difficult to fit fancy font into most of my banners because I use a phrase rather than one word. If my elegant fonts are too small it's difficult to read them. So...there you go.

Anyway, two banners, these from Chaos Legion, featuring Victor Delacroix, because I love him so. And had completed the game on the day I made these, thus was on a high.

Really, Zeke.... your banners are totally flawless... I mean, heck, they're beautiful!!


I'm a really big fan of your abstract backgrounds because they're all so bright and it just makes you want to look at them. It seems that even though you use mostly the same kind of stamps or whatever in most of your works, it never ceases to look any different and even more great. I can tell that you really, really like the color orange. :D

Also, the way that you have some stuff fade into the background and all your little touches here and there also add to the excitement of the colors and characters. They really are beautiful... *hugs the Gaara banners and squeels. XD*

The only really bad thing I see here is in your Dark Legion banners. >.< The characters faces are a little bit dark, so you can't really see them. I suggest that you make it a little bight brighter, but not too much.. if you know what I mean. XD

Other than that, I see nothing wrong here. All your banners are great and I hope that you can teach me one day! *bows*

The color treatment's also wonderful. But maybe you could have used a better effect for the background trasition on the right. Perhaps you can use the same (blood spatter?) brush in Eraser mode to erase parts of the transition. I think that will complement the pixelly, semi-grunge look very well.

About the Victor banners: I made them dark because 1)I like working with dark colours and 2)He's an uber evil character that is in the dark for lots of the game. Also, I like the way they looked when I messed with the contrast.

Well now for the Ouran High School Host Club ones, As I have said before I love the effect of a banner going off of the end, or if it has no end and it goes off so you get credits for that. The warm feeling of the colors also is rather nice, you even managed to get purple which is a cool color to become somehow matching to the rest. As for the Animation I love blur like effects, Its sexy.

The next HTK one at first I thought he colors were off, Seeing all these warm colors at first then seeing this black at the side I was starting to wonder. Then when I looked at it a second time I kinda of saw it as like a black hole, sucking up the bright colors? sounds like a sexy Idea, but what do I know.[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]

I like the Kyouya banner; the animated version seems a little pointless, but you did tell us that you were experimenting. It would be neat if there were a constant effect going in the background behind him--for example, a soft rain-like animation (this is a fairly common effect, so I assume it's not too advanced). But no matter.

I don't really care for the color scheme on the Tamaki-sama banner. The purple, the olive green, the red, the blue... it's a little too much.

Overall, though, great work. Just by doing something Ouran-related, you got me to post in this forum for the first time in ages.

The colours look a little off because I tweaked the stock one last time before saving and loved the effect. It didn't, however, blend well with the colours I'd then used previously. But I was too lazy to fix it by then.

[U]Dagger:[/U] Yeah, the Tamaki banner looks sort of...toxic, doesn't it? Another example of liking the stock colours but failing to work them in with a background.

Wow...As always Ezekiel, your artistic skills show me that you are very talented. I like all of the banners myself, though the two Victor Delacroix ones seem a bit [i]too[/i] dark. I understand, (at least I think I do) what you were trying to do by incorporating him in shadow as he is in the game, but perhaps a dark shade of gray would have been better suited? I don't know, I still think it's lovely though. ^_^

Beauty: I really like this graphic, but I have a couple things that irk me slightly that I think could have been better...But let's start with what I like.

I love how you put those custom brushes in there, especially the butterflies and the flowers. It really brings out the woman in the picture itself for some reason.

I think you could have possibly taken away that super light colored off-green from around her hair and let it flow into the background and possibly have gotten a better look. Also, her bangs, and the rest of her long strands of hair are just a flat brown color. It really seems weird, especially with the red-brown and dark brown hair..fluff thing (for lack of a better word). Overall the graphic is a beautiful piece of art, and it truly shows your skills with things Ezekiel.

I shall continue to haunt you and the rest of you artsy lords(and ladies :P) here on OB in hopes you'll drop some skills by mere luck..or magic..lol.

Keep up the good work. I look forward to seeing more of your work Ezekiel.

[COLOR=DarkSlateGray][SIZE=1][FONT=Comic Sans MS]God I wish I was sexy enough to say Color as Colour...darn, yet seeing as I have commented on alot of your banners already I am just going to comment on the Beauty one instead.

There were three major things that I saw in the picture that drew me to it almost instantly

1.Hair- I don't know what exactly you really did to make the hair blend together like that,(now that I think of it you probaly just blended the lines together but, blah). Yet that is one of the features that makes her stand out. The blue highlights around the hair do the same. It just makes the hair pop out so much its trying to impale my eyes.

2. Butterflies- As I have said many times before I just give almost all abstract art thumbs up and your little section in the right had corner do the same. It could be the color of the butterflies and how they contrast with the rest of the picture but yeah, Tis sexy.

3. Color- Overall you took a great selection of color, I espically like your use of the blues and whites when the entire hue of the picture seems to be one of a cooler tone.

If anything I think the only problem seems to be the one problem that many 56K users (if any) will say. After the top of the hair ends it seems like the picture still goes on and there is nothing there. You could cut some page load time but just cropping it but however since it has a transparent background it really just doesnt matter. I guess its just a thing of mine.

XD I've just always wondered that and even now because I'm fooling around with stamps, so.... anyways, before I get lectured out by Retri, I really love how the stamps blen with the picture. It really is beautiful.

Now, about your Tomonori banner.... I love it! *fangirl squeel* Just as you said, Juvenile Orion is love. XD Love all the guys on there. Anywho, about the commenting on it....

1. Coloring of the Word: I can see that you made his name orange. I can see it, but... it doesn't really go well with the colors of the background. Maybe you should've made it a lighter or darker red? I really have no idea... o.o;

2. Picture: Lol I know you already said this, but I actually don't think the picture is all TOO bad. Maybe just a little bright, but hey... it's cool. XD

Anywho, okay... about all them banners. Still very, very beautiful as always... I love them all. All the colors compliment with each other and give the feeling of what each character feels. The textures are wonderful and the effects you do for the backgrounds... they never cease to amaze me... it's like, "Oh... looky! Zeke made another one of them there neato banners!" XDD Lol oh and is it just me or do you always pick the most prettiest girls and the even more hotter guys for you banners? It just looks that way. XD Well.. it might not matter, but my most favourite one is your Ezekiel one. I saw the picture you drew of him on DA and I totally fell in love with him. =D Also, Imric (I think it was) is also an awesome pic. Maybe you could make a banner with him on it? I absolutely adore how you managed to blend the motion blur of Dosu's arm and made it look as if it was moving right now. The thing that bothers me is the pixel text... you can kind of see some white in it. Other than that, this banner is amazing. More in the future, please. :D

[B]Reach For the Sky- [/B] This one has potential too. Did you make the clouds and birds with vectoring? Lovely, really. The thing that bothers me though is that there's some white on Sasuke's headband. Luffly.

[size=1]I think that the "Prince of Nowhere" banner is your best. Not only does it have a clear focal point, the background works with the stock, and Vegeta's high contrast definitely enhances the picture. My only problem with it is that the background sort of seems to stop, leaving this gray space on the right.

I absolutely love the effects on "bloodstain" ... how'd you do it? Brushing?

As for the rest (God, I hate to lump in some of these with the others... this is a pretty strong group), the contrast is so high that the main focus of the banner is somewhat lost. I know this is your style, to up the contrast to the point where pixels start appearing (i.e. Prince of Nowhere), but try to separate the stocks from the backgrounds.[/size]

Prince of Nowhere- I must agree, this is your stronget piece of this batch. Though I do think Retri's covered this one quite well already.

Oh! Yes, Please!- *Squeals* This defeinitely comes in a close second. I love the colors, and the font is just plain sexy. The only problem is the slightly-too-bland background. Checkers alone never did really appeal to me. But that's just me.

As for the guild wars ones, I'd have to lean more towards the second one. The colors are overall more harmonized. The first one has a slighly orangish hue,and looks a bit more violent [;

Yes, layers upon layers of brushing. (And all my own, you'll be pleased to know!)

The edge effect was done by using the select tool to make a sort of jagged edge, like ripped paper. Then I smudged it out to make it look a little nicer. The lines were just anti-alias vector lines and the other brushes I used were my fingers prints and some blood splatter I found on Google.

Vegeta is amazing, indeed. I did have a problem with the 'Yes, Please!', because I only got as far as planning what I wanted the text to be like. Then I was kind of lost, so I slapped on a pattern and that was it, haha. I'm glad you pointed that out though, I'll try mess around with the banner some more.
