Dragon Warrior
WORKIN' HARD or HARDLY WORKIN' Behold, my latest webcomic creation, Workin' Hard Or Hardly Workin'. It chronicles the insane events and every day life of employees at a particular multi-million dollar corporation and just goes to show how crazy it really is in the business world. It's more than just cubicles and sharpening pencils, folks. Read on to find out. Because I love you all, I'm posting the first four comics at once even if they weren't supposed to be released until later. Besides, they reveal the four main characters right away in each comic. Please give feedback, thanks :) Commentses :D
James
You still have that randomness about you, DW...but I like this comic. This is probably one of the best things I've seen from you. The drawings are simple-but-effective and a lot of the content here actually does reflect the weird double-talk that goes on inside an office. It's surprisingly accurate from that perspective, lol. Great job. I hope to see more of this in future.
Delta
This is the first time that I've seriously bothered to read your comics, I think. Your drawing style is [strike]rather[/strike] crude but not too crude that the whole thing looks like a mess. It actually helps in amplifying the comical aspect of this (umm...) comic. Very good! BTW, I like Mr. Gord. Very much. Hope to see more of him doing something entertaining (like making "papers") in the future.
Fyxe
Very nice. This is probably the most entertaining thing I've read all week. The drawings are fun, I especially like their hair. All wavy and spikey-like. *Pokes the hair* At first I thought Mr. Gord's hair... wasn't his hair. I don't know what it would have been. >> It's random, but I like random-ness. Keep it up.
Lt.Zero
Pretty-darn-funny. The comics are awesome and I really like the art style. Keep it up man.
jigglyness
although the style is really simple, the humor totally makes up for it. randomness = <333 I'm looking forward to more of hal. lol.
ashwolf
lol the first one reminds me of my job...good work. Drawings are simplistic but the dialogue makes up for that. =)
2010DigitalBoy
As always, Almight Pirate Lord D_W, your wok is beyind awesme. I liked the second and forth the most. The last block ("I'll get the lube... *sigh* I hate saying that") made me bust out laughing. Very good job!
Dragon Warrior
It took some time, but by request, here's another one :)
James
Good stuff, DW. I think this is definitely my favourite comic from you. This latest one is simple, but it really follows the theme and style well. Nice work. :)
Dragon Warrior
Thank ye kindly, James. Like you told me, I'll keep producing them as long as I enjoy doing so :)
Retribution
That was plain awesome, DW. Your humor knows no bounds -- continue to produce such quality work, and all the [strike]fangirls[/strike] devoted fans will keep begging for more. I'd recommend making the frame borders a bit thicker, as it's easy to lose the frame's definition when the edges are colored (like the bottom of the frame being blue).
Dragon Warrior
Heh, thanks. Taking into consideration of what you said, I made the borders slightly thicker.
2010DigitalBoy
D_W, I really love the last two comics. The small anedotes were hilarious and the live-action sword totally caught me off-guard XD
Tatsubei Yagyu
Heh, for some reason it kind of reminds me of Family Guy. I also argee with Tical about the sword. I love how he pulled it out of his elbows, apparently. ;)
Pumpkin
Heh, for some reason it kind of reminds me of Family Guy.[/FONT']
Heh, for once I'm going to have to agree with someone here. The flashbacks definately remind me of episodes from family guy and futurama. You definately have a knack for comedy as far as I can see. Keep them coming DW! This is perfect after reading this after a day at work.I think I even enjoy this as much as 'slackers in slacks' [strike]and was a rabid fangirl of[/strike] which was also quite awesome. Fyxe
XD (I use too many of those...) In the sixth panel of the most recent comic... the look on that woman's face... priceless. Haha. You had me worried, not posting any new ones for awhile. But, they are back. Whoo! Keep it up, my pirate friend.
