Guest MrFuji
MACROSS!! Not Macross Plus or Zero, or 7. I want to see more of Hikaru, Misa and Minmay. That was truly one of the greatest series of all time and some of my favorite characters.
Panache
There are many anime's IMO that really need sequels. So I figure if I post them on a very popular forum like this and get alot of fan support maybe they just might. Oh no I reaveled my secret agenda!! Oh well. Any way here is my list Chobits(The anime was near flawless and had a ending that could be built up upon) Happy Lesson(He only went through about 1 year of school the are 3 left) Berserk season one(thay need to finsh the story through anime and manga not just manga) Mohoromatic maiden(those who saw it through should know why) Ranma 1/2(they didn't even finish it really) Another please (cuz they are all awesome) Steel Angel Kurumi( Too make up for the second one) Thats all I got right now. PaganAngel
Hm... a Chobits sequel, you say? That could be interesting, it'd be nice to find out how a lot of the character's lives play out. Though Hideki and Chi's relationship was perfected in the end, we were left in the dark with a lot of characters. I'd especially like to know what happens with Dita and Ziwa. I can't really think of any other series right now... for most of them it would just get old, really. Nothing's worse than a good anime that turns bad once it's overstayed its welcome. Magus
Copied and pasted from old thread. Instead of saying that they need to make a sequel to Cowboy Bebop, I'm going to say they need to do a prequel or a little OVA/OAV. Mainly because I want to see what happened during the times Spike was in Red Dragon. They could also show how / why he became a bounty hunter, met up with Jet and whatnot as well as explain Len and Shen's role. Showing a little bit of Vicious past wouldn't hurt either (mainly his time on Titan with Gren) I also agree on the Rurouni Kenshin sequel... except I'd rather have them do another prequel. Showing Aoshi's past during the revolution. ---------------- I haven't seen too much lately... just what's been coming on tv. So I don't think anything really needs a sequel or prequel. Kei
The most obvious thing that could go here would be Fruits Basket. They left the series entirely too open-ended for the people who don't read the manga (which is all of three people, I know). But it certainly would be great to see them make a second season to put in all of the other important things they didn't get to in the first.
Lord Dante
I think that a chobits sequel would be good. The ending of the Anime series was left very open ended (although, in my view, it cut off a lot more abruptly than the manga) and so there are almost unlimited oppertunities for sequel building. I cannot beleive I forgot that one. Although I was fine with the ending. I love that anime so much any offset of it is good in my eyes.
Doublehex
The anime that I want to be continued is Elfen Lied. I mean, they left it at a HUGE cliffhanger, and it would be a huge dissapointment if they never continued it.

Guest Call Me "Masa"
I would have liked if they continued "Evangelion" series. It is categorized as one of the best anime/manga and it always will be for me. All I can say is poor Shinji, poor Shinji. It wasn't the series ending that hurt him the most, but all the abuse he took from Asuka. Lol.
TheResplendent
I would love to see another continuation of Tenchi Muyo, it never seems like they can go wrong with the great characters. Each series was halarious and deep in story at the same time. Wouldn't mind seeing another Trigun actually, about the way Vash is living his life post-first incident and possible new threats or the types of things he does in
memory of Wolfwood.
. Also wouldn't mind seeing another Outlaw Star series.
Hittokiri Zero
As much as I hated the reused animation and horrible use of CG graphics (not to mention the complete butchering of the manga storyline) I would love to see another Buzzer Beater series that follows the direction/plot of the manga more closely. From what little of the manga is available to read online (legally) the development of characters and plot twists throughout the early story really hooked me... If I give this some more thought I'm sure I can come up with some other series that could use a sequel/prequel but I'm off to do some homework for me... Naruto freak
I think that Full Metal Alchemist needs a sequel. They ended it so stupid. Another anime they could have added to was Ranma 1/2. I hate how they end shows when they should have kept going.
Naruto freak, your post needs more content. Otakuboards emphasizes both post quality and post content. Although your post is very easily understood, you have not much to add to the conversation. Although you stated that Full Metal Alchemist needed suquel, you never said why. You expressed that Ranma 1/2 could have continued, but you never put forth your reasons. Conversations can very rarely sprout from lists, especially in the online environment. Suzuhiko
I'd have to say right now I'd like to see a sequel, or even remake of Gokusen. The dorama was brilliant! Although Yankumi wasn't portrayed to be as tough as she should have been. The anime though didn't even really finish...
NashvilleDream
I think that Full Metal Alchemist needs a sequel. They ended it so stupid.
Full Metal Alchemist has a movie thatr's been released in Japan. When it's coming here.. I can't say Though it really is a horrible movie...>.> but anyway... I defanitely agree with BKstyles about Trigun, and with Diabloabout Cowboy Bebop. Personally, I also think they needed to do a better job with the Gravitation anime too... One anime that I think really needs a sequal is Hellsing. It was too short for the viewer to truly grasp everything that was going on, and the characters needed to have more on-screen time in order to fully understand them. So.. yeah... Hellsing... Panache
Well this really isn't a request to make a sequel but a request to hurry up and finish one. Jubei chan. That was a great anime that is in the process of being continued bit they need to speed it up.Also they need to shw us what the hell happened in eden's bowy. I was uber confused at the end. Kenshin DX
Gantz could use a sequel. The ending wasnt complelted since the manga takes off where the anime ends. Gantz is one of my favorite animes and should have been alot longer.Another anime i would like to see acontinuation is Getbackers. I know its been done to death but Getbackers should have had a movie with them fighting the
Brain Trust
. They pretty much gave up on what could possibly have been the Best Arch in the series and went home. When I think about the fights they could have had aganist the
Gods of the Limitless fortress
I want to cry . The whole Return to the Limitless Fortess Arch sucked. The fights were a huge dissapointment especially
Ban vs Akabane[
. I guess we will all have to settle for the manga. Also hasnt this theard been done like a 1000 times? mushrumluver
Chrno Crusade Needs a Sequel, they ended it up sadly and it such a cliffhanger.
Rossette and Chrno both died at the end leaving Aion alive. there are many questions left unanswered like what's gonna happen next, and how are they gonna stop Aion and what the hell happened to Minister Remington from being an angel to a beggar.
Well anyways, the next for me that needs a sequel is Tsubasa Chronicles... Although they are making the sequel, i hope, i want to see what happens next on that anime.
mushrumluver, I added spoiler tags to your post. fan ati cal
They need to continue Rorouni Kenshin, not necessarily make a sequel but I know there is alot more to where they cut off and stopped showing, especially on adult swim. They also should have a sequel for Trigun and FMA. I loved those shows and now they are just done and it would be interesting to see where they end up.
Starwind
I'd like to see a sequel to an Elfen Lied sequel, since the first series didn't really have any kind of conclusion. It leaves you unsure of what exactly is suppose to happen next. I've seen some others on this list, that I did enjoy, but don't really need a sequel. The one I recognize most would have to Evangelion. True the ending was kinda poor off, but it's not like there was really any other way to go after it. It's not like they can really continue on from that point. What would you have done to it to make some kind of sequel to this series.
Deathsye
Vampire Hunter D is one of those cool movies that warants a sqeul the ending was very anti-climactic. Useully that hints to a sequel.
PaganAngel
A-ha... how about an Azumanga Daioh sequel? It's a series with no plot, therefore it can't possibly overstay its welcome. It'd be pretty funny to follow the trials and tribulations of the gang through college and beyond. I think it might work.
