Albert Flasher
Critic. I want to be a movie or book or whatever critic. At first, I wanted to be a writer. Until I learned that most writers are poor because they make **** all. So, that was the end of that dream. Than I thought maybe I'd do good as a political aide of some kind, until I realized that would take work, which again ended a dream. However, being a critic is something I genuinly feel I can do. I know what I like and I know how to spread my opinion, which is something I like. The money is modest at best but I figure with a job as easy as being a critic, I'll take a pay cut. Especially a food critic. Mmmm...
Panda
My dream job: Anime Convention Reporter. It really would be a dream come true to have someone pay me to do three things I already love to do. I love to write. I love to travel. I love to attend anime conventions. It's said that having a job you love makes work that much easier. Well, with my dream job it has three things I love so I figure I couldn't go wrong! Now I just need to figure out who is willing to pay me to travel the world to attend conventions... :animesigh
2010DigitalBoy
I aspire to be a writer of some sort. While most writers are poor, some are rich, and it's worth a try. Otherwise I want to sing in a band. Possibly also play guitar.
sakurasuka
I most definitely want to be a web-designer. ... Or a video-game designer. Or graphic designer. Or a fashion designer. Or an artist/writer of some kind. I can't see myself in any sort of office or confined space. I see myself in a studio, using computer graphics or something of the sort. Maybe I could write novels. Yeah, that would be fun. But of course, that's what near everyone longs to do these days, with 'emo' being all the rage. Poetry, art, writing... 'They' took all the good stuff, and left the crap jobs for us normal people. I'm still having a difficult time understanding why exactly guys want to wear chick-pants and eyeliner, listen to whiney music, and put the words 'blood', 'autumn', 'dead', 'knife', or 'tears' in all thier peotry >_> Makes no sense. But alas, that's an argument for a different thread.
Aaryanna
For me my dream job is to be a vet. ^_^ I?m already planning on attending college to get my bachelor?s degree since so many vet schools prefer it if you already have a well-rounded education when you apply. I?ve always love animals (especially dogs) and it just makes perfect sense to work with them. If being a vet didn?t work out then my next choice is to run a grooming shop or to even work at a zoo. I?m thinking the zoo would be even more interesting as you would get the chance to work with a lot of different animals.
TheResplendent
My dream job is definintly writer and director for my own material. I want to be able to write storylines, scripts, etc etc and be able to bring them to life. My creativeness and intellegence can be best displayed through these methods, and i would enjoy this the most regardless of whether or not it would be financially sufficient (which i'm sure if i ever achieve this, it would be). If i knew how to draw, i would probably be set for life because then i could provide everything needed for myself, and might even go on to write up some mangas of my own, since a good portion of my story ideas are based on those concepts. Starwind
My dream job is to be a marine biologist. I know it's kinda boring by most peoples standards. I love the sea and I'm absolutly fascinated by the creatures that live there. It's just the idea of a place on our own planet that is as alien as any planet in this solar system. It's just so strange to think that we know more about some distant glaxaies then we do about the sea. The fact that of all the waters of the ocean, we've explored less then 1%. We've charted more maps on Mars. I think that's why that always seemed like such great job to me. The idea that you could discover something new everyday and still not know it all before the end of your career. That limitless potential, matched with my love of the sea just seemed like a practical choice.

Fasteriskhead
Get a doctorate, snag an open professorship somewhere, and teach. While at the moment I believe myself to be a completely TERRIBLE teacher, the hope is that I can improve with time. Heidegger: "Teaching is even more difficult than learning. We know that; but we rarely think about it. And why is teaching more difficult than learning? Not because the teacher must have a store of information, and have it always ready. Teaching is more difficult than learning because what teaching calls for is this: to let learn. The real teacher, in fact, lets nothing else be learned than - learning. His conduct, therefore, often produces the impression that we properly learn nothing from him, if by 'learning' we now suddenly understand merely the procurement of useful information. The teacher is ahead of his apprentices in this alone, that he has still far more to learn than they - he has to learn to let them learn. The teacher must be capable of being more teachable than the apprentices. The teacher is far less assured of his ground than those who learn are of theirs. If the relation between the teacher and the taught is genuine, therefore, there is never a place in it for the authority of the know-it-all or the authoritative sway of the official. It is still an exalted matter, then, to become a teacher - which is something else entirely than becoming a famous professor."

Touchstone
My dream job would be to own my own unique studio, where all kinds of wonderful projects are made and where I can use all my artist talents and just die happy. I could write my novels, write my comic scripts and work with artists to make them a reality, and write animated movie and show scripts and watch them come to life. *faints from happiness* Oh God, that would make my life complete! Because I love doing so many kinds of art that I have a hard time deciding just on one. ...But most likely I'll follow Neil Gaiman's path-write novels and comics by myself. Which is still fun, though of course I won't get paid as much as him. But I don't give a **** about money...as long as I at least have a habitable place to live.
Darkness
A song writer. I have been writing music since I was 14 and 10 yrs later I am finally learning to play guitar. I used to want to be a singer (yep, I have a few good notes in me) but my life has come to a point where I'd have to make some unacceptable sacrifices for that to happen. Plus I do want money, but not mega fame (I enjoy going out in public and not being engaged by hundreds of people). I do have a few goals that fit in with this though. I want to sell at least one song and I want to write at least one fantasy novel.

Alchemist1080
I have a couple of dream jobs myself: One is to become pro in soccer and (hopefully) make the National Team. I know this is kinda unrealistic. But,I've been in many teams and they all say that Im really good. and since it is my favorite sport, it would be cool if I went pro like some of my friends in other sports did. Another dream job is to be a poet. (well, I kinda believe i already am. But u know what I mean) i really like poetry, and Ive already written alot of poems (even posted one on Otakuboards ;) ). But I hope that what I write can get me somewhere.
