Reminders:

-After the deadline, voters will be given [COLOR=Black][B][U]five days[/U][/B][/COLOR] to vote. Other than the two participants, all Members are able to give their votes on the works of art.

-Remember you [COLOR=Black][B][U]must[/U] [/B][/COLOR] post at least [COLOR=Black][B][U]three[/U][/B] [/COLOR] sentences about the entry they are voting for,and at least [COLOR=Black][B][U]one[/U][/B][/COLOR] sentence of constructive criticism about the other. If a member fails to meet this criteria they will be sent a PM from a Tournament Presider and will be able to change their vote for the rest of the voting time. If they still do not meet the criteria after being sent a Pm their vote won't be counted.

You know, I'm just confused as hell.

When you say "this is your pallete", does that mean those are the only colors you can have in your entire pic? IE, your image cannot be any different? Or does the limited pallet only apply to the background?

Also...what about brushes that take the base color and have that plus different shades of it?

Or filters?

We REALLY need this specified before somebody hurts themselves. o.o;;[/color][/size]

[COLOR=DarkSlateGray][SIZE=1][FONT=Comic Sans MS]Well yes, basicly those colors will be the colors that you would be allowed to use along with lighter and darker versions of the color as long as the Saturation is at 100. As for the other things I am not really to sure about all of that since my knowledge of many graphic art things is limited as such.

I couldn't think of anything else to do besides of what...I...made. Yeah. Man. Can't think, so I'm amazed I managed to squeeze this out.

The colors were a little hard to work with, because I wanted to lower the saturation on Edward's face, but then the things changed. X3 Garr!

But I'm proud to say I actually used red.

Katana wins by default with her impressive Edward Elric entry. If anyone wants/feels commended to do a comment on her work then do so. Other than that Katana moves on. -insert chime here-[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]

[color=#b0000b][size=1]It looks great. My only comments would be that the edge of the red spade seems a little too close to the edge there...it would feel more natural if it weren't cropped so closely.

And be careful with fonts like that, because the spacing can go really wonky. Your type looks pretty good, but the elipsis at the end is a little awkward. I would like to see it spaced out more. And the "on" seems kind of unbalanced, because it's so much closer to "flip" than it is to anything on the other side.

But yeah, other than those things (which I only mention because it's something you can work with next time), it looks good.

Oh, and something I just thought of. As something specific to this graphic, it would have been kind of cool to do an animation of blinking circles around the border of the piece--flashing lights, if you wanted to take the casino/cards theme any further. [/color][/size]
