Solbadguy
Aoki and Scorch arrived at Heoul Haven, landing lightly on the outcropping infront of the dragon's den. Aoki unslung his saddlebags and hefted the golden bounty onto his back, the egg warm and comforting against him. A group of servants rushed to him, shocked at his bloody appearance and the egg which he carried. He shrugged them off, walking briskly towards the elders chamber. This war, it seems, would be a hard fought battle. 'Scorch, await me in your den. There's some matters I need to attend to. Keep a track on Barcain and Arya, I sense that they're on their way back by now. Notify me immediately upon her arrival.' 'Yes, yes. I understand. I will notify you as soon as she arrives.' Aoki stopped right infront of the elder's chamber, and kicked on the door, demanding that he be let in. His eyes softly glowing as they usually did when his emotions ran hot. Akieen Cloud
Arya stood waiting patiently for Barcain to come pick her up when she saw a shadow pass over her, it sent a shiver downher back and made her want to cringe. She looked up and swa Dark yellow dragon descned upon her and screamed. It was the largest dragon she had seen yet and was just as menaceing. The rider jumped off and looked at her, his size matched his dragon, he was massive. Advanceing on her slowly she lknocked an arrow into her bow and let it fly, he caught it deftly and snapped it eaisly with one hand smielign the whole time. "You are the best the Haven has to send? Well looks as though they need to get some better players." She heard the dragon sniker behind him and felt her knees go weak. this was no ordinary rider, it was the kings son, Mortago. He was as crule as the king himself or maybe, as rumors had it more crule then his father. He charged at her with all the force in his body and laughed as Arya tried to block with her bow, she cried out in dismay as it snapped under his blow. Barcain had her sword the only thing she had left was her boot dagger. She charged him and screamed as he grabbed her arm and twisted fiercly, har wrist nearly snapping with the strength he possesed. He looked her in the eyes and she saw with dread that he had her under his power and she was helpless. HE laughed in her face, his breath smelt horrid to her keen sense of smell, beer and roast that had been there for years, it made her want to vomit. HE picked her up as if she were nothing and looked her over. "An elf, father will be pleased." She felt her body freeze as she realized what was to happen to her, he was taking her to the king, she was a captive in this war now.-How could I have been so stupid!? Aoki you were right...I was a fool to go to him...I should have listend...-She looked up at him and tried to scream as he clamped his large hand around her throat and began to squeeze. She couldn't breth and soon felt her body go limp as she passed out. He hauled her over to his dragon and laughed. "Let's go boy, I think father has plans for this one." He flew off with Arya just as Barcain landed. 'Arya...Arya? Why will you not anwser me?' He looked around for a sign of her and found her broken bow and her dagger, two things she would never let happen. He roared in anger and picked them up raceing back to the Haven to inform Scortch who in turn would tell Aoki of his sisters dissapperance. OCC: Alright, no one got to Arya's rescue, the king has her now and so does his son for the time being. Flo
Maura screamed as the blackish purple dragon lifted her up and shortly dropped her at his master's feet, which so happened to be Vincent. She saw him look her up and down as if trying to remember if he had met her. "I wouldn't try escaping. He hasn't been fed yet. Now what would an Impire scout be spying on me for?" Scout! Her jaw dropped open at the mention of this. No matter how infatuated she was with him there was no way she was going to let him call her a simple scout. She was about to retaliate a strange beast like person appeared and made well sure that she knew that he wanted nothing to do with her. This only added to the fire, and as she listened her anger only grew as she learned that this creature planned to harm Vincent. Quickly going into action she stepped in between the two and stood still, ready to call any beasts that where near to tear this 'Stranger' limb from limb. "My conflict is not with you, it is with him. Now get out of the way, we need to settle this." Choosing to answer by entering a fighting stance, Maura narrowed her eyes at the Stranger. A hand fell on her shoulder and she turned back to look. "He's right, this is between me and him. Don't get involved." Looking down with regret, she paused slightly before moving out of the way. She watched as Vincent moved forward and presented himself for battle. It wasn't until Stranger pointed out Vincent's wound that she also noticed. She pulled out a vile of and found it empty. With her mind she sent out a call for Russell, a small ferret that she had rescued from an early death when he was only a baby. Since then was never far from Maura and always willing to help her. Just like she expected, Russell jumped from the roof of a near by building and ran forward to Maura, inorging the dragon completly. She bent down and held the empty vile out to her little friend and once he got the smell of it, he ran back towards the woods. Feeling eyes on her Maura turned to see Vincent staring at her with curiosity. She smiled at him and sat back down. "What was that?" "A wild ferret, aren't they just the cutest?" Maura watched as he rubbed his temple, "No I mean you aren't sending for help are you?" "Yes." Maura smiled as she said this, knowing that it wasn't the best thing to admit. Anger appeared to rise in Vincent's face. "What? You remember what I said earlier about Maelstrom not eating yet." "Yes, but the help is for you. Your hurt and that wound should be taken care of. I just told Russell to get a plant that fights bacteria. Oh, and speaking of that you said earlier, I'm here on the King's orders. He has some reason to believe that your not following orders. I don't believe that though Vincent, in fact I wouldn't have even accepted this mission if it was anyone else. Right when I heard your name Vincent, I knew I had to prove the King wrong, I don't want any harm to come to you. None at all."
Deadpool
Vincent smiled. He had severed the direct link between him and the king so it was only a matter of time before he sent soneone. Vincent sat down as teh ferret came back. Maelstrom was eyeing it intently. "Maelstrom...no. Go find a village or something" The dragon was instantly off having a chance to feed.. "This will sting" Vincent knew what that meant. He grit his teeth as another wave of pain swept through him. He then looked down at her and smiled. "You tell the king everything is going as planned. She should be in the open and easily taken advantage of." A shadow passed over him as the king's son flew back to the castle. "Right on time" Unknown to the king though. Vincent had other plans that he was going to follow through with. He set a hand down on her shoulder. Solbadguy
After the meeting with the elders, Aoki left the chamber one golden egg lighter. He paused in the main hall, rubbing his temple and swearing. Old men babble way too long for his taste. He wandered to his bedchamber, needing time alone for a few minutes. As he shut the door and locked it, he felt uneasy, as if something was gnawing at the back of his brain but he couldnt place it. He shucked off the bloody leather tunic and pants he was wearing, walking towards his washroom. The many scars on his body gave away his warrior's status. He was proud of many of them. Only a few had bad memories. He sighed as he filled his bucket with hot water that the maid had left him, and walked to the wash bin, beginning to soak his muscles through with the soothing water, bits of lavender making the aroma all that more comforting. As he finished his bath, he donned a deep red tunic, and a leather jerkin, the dragon symbol he had on his hand adorning the back. He pulled on his black monk pants, the loose, billowing cloth keeping him unrestricted, the way he liked it. His usual leather boots were replaced this time, with a pair of riding boots, the ones he was given as a gift from the general he served under in the last war. The buckles on them were still bronzed, and shined bright. If this was going to be a fight, he would make sure he looked his best. He pulled his sword from the scabbard and began to wipe it clean, paying special attention to the runewords on the blade. After it pleased him, he slid it into his battle scabbard, and strapped it to his side. As he stood to leave, the castle began to shudder, as a roar deafening and terrible ripped through the halls. Aoki swore, remembering that his bedchamber had telepathic blocks that kept his privacy. He threw open the door and was immediately assaulted with mental links, both from Barcain and Scorch. '--tured! Aoki! Damn it boy, where are you!? It's Arya!' 'Scorch i'm here, now what about my sister?' 'It's gotten worse Aoki, she now resides as a prisoner in the King's mountain chambers!' Aoki's heart lurched at the news, his eyes blazing hot with anger and hatred, grief and sorrow all at the same time. He gritted his teeth, red energy crackling up his arm from the rider's mark. 'Scorch. I must go. You understand, I hope.' 'Of course, it is best if we do. Barcain is about to destroy this place in his irritation, nobody else will dare move against the king.' Aoki dashed, his legs moving as fast as he could run, reaching the main hall in record times even the youngest elf would gawk at. Scorch already waited, Barcain clawing the floor in his impatience. Aoki began to pull himself up onto the saddle, and stopped, feeling a familiar presence, one he couldn't quite place. He glanced around and noticed the stranger from before, looking as if he just finished the Heoul Rider's marathon race. He raised a hand in greeting, as he launched himself up onto Scorchs' back. "If you want to fight them, follow me. Nobody else here has the guts to assault the mountain. But they have my sister. I can't, and won't sit by and let this go without an answer. If i have to slay every necromancer and rider they have, I will do so. And if Vincent is whom you want, im willing to bet he will be there." Aoki looked at Barcain's empty saddle, the anger and hatred rising again, pain at his loss causing his eyes to blaze bright and furious. He looked back at the stranger, his hands gripping the saddlehorn so tightly that his knuckles were turning white. "I cannot sit here any longer friend, you can rest here if you want and meet me there, but I must go now." Scorch extended his wings and let out a bestial roar, loose rocks falling from the ceiling as Barcain joined him, both dragons enraged at this turning of events. They took from the dens, Barcain in the lead, at top speed, heading straight for the mountain of Hell.
Flo
Grinning back, Maura stood and pushed her pale blue hair behind her ear. She wasn't sure who 'she' was but 'she' had to be important. Seeing a shadow pass over the land, Maura looked up. A dragon and its rider. "I try", looking back at Vincent she smiled widely, "Plus I don't think the King would be very happy with me if I stood back and let one of his Hell Rider's die." A small bluish bird flew down from the sky, and landed on Maura's shoulder. She petted its head, nuzzling it carefully, as she tied a note to its leg. "To the king." She whisper faintly to the bird and opened her hands letting the little blue bird take flight, smiling after it. Turning back at Vincent, Maura looked at him with her deep emerald green eyes. She was so close to the person she had claimed to love that she felt her face blush. Adverting her eyes she spoke. "So what next? I sent my messenger though I should probely stay and make sure your being honest. Is that okay with you? If I go around with you, that is?" Akieen Cloud
Arya felt her body lurch as the dragon descended once again and landed with a loud thump, grass it sounded like. She heard voices and then felt the pain in her throat from her earlier squeeze. She groaned as her body began to awaken. The dragon rider she had encountered lumbered over to her, his large hands grabbing the back of her neck. "Vincent, I brought back a prize for my father, a Heoul rider. What do you think? She's pretty is she not?" He held Arya by the neck at arms length for Vincent and the girl to see. She glared at him as a feeling of betrayl swirled in her gut. "You lying bastard! Wait for me my ass! Who is she?!" The man griping her shook her violently and she let her words die down to hate filled glares. The man she had given her self to seemed to have another besides her and she felt as if her world were crumbleing becasue of it but she would not let him see he had hurt her. It would give him to much satsisfaction. She growled as the man roughly threw her to the ground, her arms bound behind her back. She looked up at Vincent and growled deeper, her anger getting the better of her, something Vincent had seen once in his time with her and it wasn't something he wanted to see again. She struggled against her bods and fought with the man behind her. "Vincent, Mura get back to the mountain, I'm sure a show will traspire as soon as we get her strung up." Arya felt all the courage she had left fade, strung up, tht meant tourture, that mean violation...that meant death. She looked up at Vincent and let a singal tear fall from her eye. "I thought you loved me...you tricked me into going to that spot so he could catch me and bring me to your master...then you have him bring me here so you can rub your new lover in my face. How could you call your-self human after such things?" She looked at him not blinking and felt pain and hurt replace her anger and she wept openly infront of them. The man behind her laughed out loud. "She's a fun one Vincent, by the sounds you already know." He dragged her back to his dragon who let out a puff of flame burning her arm badly. She knew this breed of dragon, bred from the fires of Hell moutain, the king said to ride one as well. Lava dragons, their fire was hot enough to burn the flesh from a person in seconds. He had only given her a taste and it hurt. she looked up at Vincent but only saw a man she didn't know anylonger. Her anger came back full force. "When we meet in battle, my arrow will find you, and pierce your heart." She spit on the mans boot and winced as his large hand caught her across the face silenceing her so that she onyl sat and glared.

Darth Vectis
The Stranger stalked the side of the mountain, mualing over what Vincent had told him. He knew Vincent was a murderous dog and should be gutted, but he wasn't a liar, and the look in his eyes betrayed something deep inside he didn't want to show. The Stranger could see that much, not even the fatigue of running at least fifty miles in one day could fool him. He slowed down until he came to a complete halt, he looked around in the dark, checking for any sign of the enemy. He then looked staight off into the darkness and roared, loud enough that it echoed through out the forest. He then waited, pressed up against the wall of the mountain, for something to appear from the darkness. And in a matter of moments, he saw several glowing eyes then they vanished. moments later, several shaggy forms walked from the darkness. It was a pack of greay and white wolves, the Stranger smiled and kneeled down on one knee and bowed his head. The wolves bowed their heads to him as well. He stood up then walked over to one of the wolves, a gruff looking one that had a scar across one of his eyes that was slightly glazed over. The Stranger took of his hat and put it over his chest, showing his misty brown hair. He spoke to the wolves in a guttral voice, asking them if they would do him a favor. The lead wolf nodded his head once, the Stranger grinned and asked them to scout a head. Three of the wolves took off instantly, heading off into the darkness. The Stranger looked off into the darkness and waited for anything to happen, hoping the wolves would return with news, or return at all. A few moments later, that seemed like an eternity, the wolves returned. A bit dirtier then when they started but appeared to be fine. The wolves walked up to the leader, and relyed their information through a series of guttral and harsh speech. The leader then turned to the Stranger, spoke to him of a passage way ahead, hidden from outsiders. They told him to follow his nose and look carfully, use his sharp sense to find his way, the Stranger nodded. He placed his hat back on head and bowed his head once more. The wolf leader bowed and they turned and took off into the darkness, the Stranger went further down the wall. Sniffing until he found what he was looking for, he moved up to the wall and searched it until he hit something that caused the stone to move. He smiled to himself and bolted in, the door closing behind him. He stayed low and on all fours, wanting to catch anyone crossing through this passage way off guard. And, lucky for him, someone was wlaking through the passage way when they tripped over him and fell flat on their face. The Stranger jumped right on top of him and held him down, bring his crossbow up to the mans face. The Stranger held a stern face while the other was still confused on what happened. The Stranger began to speak. "Wheres the tortuer room from here?" The man looked around confused a bit more, the Stranger put pressuer on his cheat. Enough to where some of his ribs were about to crack from the weight. The man groaned then spoke quickly. "Alright, go down this corridor. Take a left and then take a second right, can't miss it." The Stranger looked down the dim corridor, then looked down at the man under him. The crossbow bolt touching his face. "You better not be lieing to me, because if you are. I'll come back and crush your chest in, now, where do the dragons nest in here?" The man shook his head. "I can't tell you that, if anyone found out I spoke of it, the king would kill me!" "I'll kill you if you don't tell me! Now where do they nest?" The man started to breath heavily, looking aorund frantically. "Alright, they are deep in the mountain. You can find it easy, don't kill me please." The Stranger grinned and stood up, keeping the bolt pointed at him. "You are a pathetic human, no wonder I don't like your kind." The Stranger folded his crossbow back up and took off into the corridor. As he ran he thought to himself which he should go to first, save the elf girl. Or eliminate the dragons of the riders, he fought with himself as he ran through the corridors.
Akieen Cloud
Arya fought against the kings son as best as she could but screamed as he pulled back her hair and threw her onto the ground. Vincent had been mistaken, he intended to show her to the entire moutain and make an example out of her. He pcked her back up and drung her to two posts in the middle of a large flat top of the moutain. She saw the stained stone and knew that the stains were blood. She looked at the man, her eyes dark with hate. "You'll warm up to me in the end lovely, they all do." She spit in his face and smiled wickedly. "Don't count on it. Vincent was the only man who ever touched me and he'll be the last. Not that I can say the same for him." He smiled at her and her resolve and twisted her wrist, she screamed and felt her breath leave her as she heard the sick snapping of bone from her breaking wrist. "Like i said they all warm up to me in the end, if not they die." "Then kill me now! Because I'll never warm up to you, you dickless sasquach!" He growled and threw her to two tamers by the posts who untied her hands and strung her between the posts then ripped the back of her shirt off so her bare back was showing. He looked at the tamers and pointed to one. "Bring me a whip and a bucket of salt water." Arya paled dramaticly as she heard these words but didn't flinch, he walked towards her and drew his sword, it matched him and his dragen, massive. He walked around behind her and brought the sword down across her back, the balde was razor sharp and cut through her soft skin like butter. She screamed as he made a gash in her back that went from the back of her neck to the bottom of her back. She looked down as he blood ran to the ground in a long gush. She looked up in time to see the tamer bring the whip and the salt water before her world exploded in nothing but pain. She didn't try to hold them back, she screamed for all she was worth. A part of her hopped that Vincent could hear her sceams so he would know what he had done to her. She felt the bite of the whip and then the sting of the salt water on her back and let the tears fall as quickly as her blood. She looked up into the faces laughing at her pain and made an oath. -I swear, if I ever get out of this...I'll kill you all...- Miles away Barcain went down in a flurry of wings and pain filled roars as he felt Arya's pain.
Flo
Maura rushed down the halls, quickly pulling on a black robe to cover up her risque clothing. She had stolen it from one of the guard's rooms, she had to be careful though if one of the guards caught her in there, she may not get out as fast as she got in. Reaching the throne room, she knocked on the oak doors. A gruff voice answered, telling her to enter. Letting to solder's open the doors as she entered. The King looked over at her as she entered and smiled. "Maura nice to see you so soon after I got your message." he smirked as he pointed over to the window where a dead bird laid, broken. Maura's face remained hard, no emotion seeping out. "I'm glad you did." The King stepped off his chair and walked towards Maura, circling her while running his hand along her body. "Why are you covering up that perfect body of yours my dear." "Sire, your son has seemed to catch a Heoul rider and taken her to be tortured. I thought you may wish to know this." "Did he now? Good, Maura not only will you keep an eye on Vincent I also want you to make sure my son does not cause to great of harm to our 'guest'." "Yes, sire." Bowing, Maura made her exit and tossed off the robe once she had exited. Heading out of the castle she followed the sound of screams and soon reached the source. The Prince had already caused a great deal of damage from the short amount of time. He looked over at her. "Your lord, the King wishes to speak with you in the Throne room. I shall handle this elf." "Whatever." Throwing the whip down the King's son left after he threw the last of the salt water of Arya's back though. Maura winsed the elf girl's scream and rushed forward untieing her. "I hope your not hurt to bad, but by the looks of it you aren't doing to well. Mordrik get some normal water please and Frense get some bandages. Make sure their the best you can get", she waited until the other Tamer's left before she spoke again, "I'll fix you up in no time okay? Mordrik and Frense are pretty fast so they should be back soon."
Akieen Cloud
Arya reached up and grabbed the girl by the throat and stood lifting her as she stood. "Why are you helping me? Why are you here? To rub it in my face that you have him now and I don't? What mor can you take from me? I waited for nearly seven years for him and then you- you take him...why should I trust you?" She threw her and winced slightly at the pain. Blood poured fromt he wounds on her back but her anger was more then the pain could filter. Her eyes had turned an unnatural grey and she was as tense as her very own bow string. The girl looked uop and shook her head. "I mean you no more harm." "Harm? You think that this is harm? Oh dear little one...this is not harm I can show you harm." She tore the golve from her hand, the one she used to take such care in taking off getnly to avoid ripping was now in shreds. She held out her hadn and aimed at the side of the moutain adn said the spell that had nearly anialated a whole town from her anger. Inside Vincent felt the shudder and knew that somethng was wrong, Arya began to laugh hystaricly and muttered the word. "Asla-tiriea" the wind was so extreme that the girl was blown to the side of the moutain and pinned there. The side began to crumble and soon a gapping hole was there, solid stone had been turned to dust and she wasn't done. She looked down and there the wind concentrated and soon a hole was there as well. She looked up as Vincent coam out adn looked at her. Her face was a bloody mess as the wind gashed and cut her face and arms, her back was bleedinf profusely now from the exhertion she was putting intot he spell. She dropped the spell and looked at him with hard sold eyes that held none of the wamth from before. She turned her back on him adn looked down the die of the moutain, she could jump but what fun was that? She turned as the kings son returned and smiled wickedly. He looked at the girl on the ground trying to catch her breath and cursed. "You let her loose?" Arya laughed loudly a laugh that sent shivers down spines. "I warned you, if I ever got loose you would die." She ran forward and grabbed him around the neck and squeezed, his eyes bulged and he looked around for some thing to use, he found a blade and shoved it through her chest. She laughed but pain fille dher body. "If I die, you die with me." She released the restriction on her powers and smiled. "Kazaa." His throat dissappered as the small tornado tore it from it's place. She looked at Vincent now, her eyes still cold and full of pain and rage. "Lying bastard..."
Solbadguy
Aoki grimaced as he heard Barcain's roars of anguish. But he knew what was happening, Arya was feeling pain, he could tell. The tingling on his back would have crippled any normal man from the pain, but Aoki was used to such methods of torture. Many long battles endured and more wounds still, he remained after. 'Scorch, you must look after Barcain, make sure no wild animals harm him, and be sure to get him back on his wings as soon as possible, I'll continue on my own from here.' 'Are you sure my friend? I know you are capable, but is it a smart decision?' 'You feel the pain as much as I do Scorch. I cannot allow this much longer.' 'As you suggest then, I will hurry as fast as i can' Aoki muttered the words his sister taught him, then felt his body become weightless. He lifted off the saddle and floated for a few seconds, watching Scorch turn back and dive towards Barcain's location. Aoki turned back, drawing his sword from the scabbard and closing his eyes, praying to his mother element, fire, for guidance. The sword ignited, the flames spreading, enveloping his whole body with an aura of magic. He angled himself towards the source of his sister's suffering, and his heels exploded with fire, rocketing him towards the mountain. As he closed the distance he noticed the torture posts at the peak, and the body of his sister with the blade ran through her. Vincent was there, and another woman, but he didn't recognize her. His hatred ran hot and wild through his body as he shot towards vincent, his sword resheathed, and tackled Vincent, his magic aura exploding and throwing the other warrior back into the mountain wall, Aoki hovering a few feet above the ground. His eyes blazed, his face contortded with rage. The dragonrider mark on his right hand blazed to life, the symbols swirling and circling the top of his hand. He blade sang to him, begging to be released from its sheath and cleave the man in front of him, but he ignored it. He pointed his finger at Vincent, and when he opened his mouth, the voice that came from it sounded as if it was made from flame itself. "You now have no hope left, fallen Rider. You have taken from me the only thing that kept me happy in this world, except for battle. And now you will feel my joy, my exhiliration of this happiness i call battle. You will feel my anger, and my sorrow. And i hope it burns the sanity from your soul with flames of my vengeance!!!" Aoki's eyes were no longer orbs, they were flames, sockets where there used to be eyes. His body was enveloped in magical power, any sorcerer or necromancer, rider or mage within miles of the mountain could feel his presence. He had broken the last tie between himself and the elements, and his anger only fueled the flames that was his hatred for Vincent. His deep red shirt was burned off his skin, the leather jerkin remained, flame resistant as he had it specially made. The heat from his body seared the ground below him, black streaks emitting from his feet. His pants billowed with the pressure of his magic aura. The braid his sister gave him untied itself, the leather band holding it together burned away, and his tail of hair spread out, fluttering in the wind. Miles away, Scorch felt the rage of his master. The dragon grew concerned, and knew that both of the siblings, when enraged, were no longer the controlled masters of thier powers that they showed, but were monsters, unable to be contained unless by mental means. Scorch tried to touch his rider's mind, and was instantly burned back, his head filling with sharp pains. 'Barcain, we need to hurry. That mountain will not stand long.' Flo
Maura looked up at the strange man who had just srrived literally out of no where. This was the worst situtaion she had ever been in, all she wanted to do was help Vincent, but she couldn't do that not with this man here. "I'm' greatly sorry, but I don't know any healing magic. I know how to heal the old fashioned way though", It was then when she broke down, she couldn't stop the tears, "I'm sorry I was just trying to help her and now the King's going to kill me since I didn't do anything to save his son even though I couldn't. Now Vincent's hurt and you won't let me help him, I just hate this all." As her tears ran down her face she looked up at the stranger praying that he wouldn't hurt her.
Guest Turenn
Radrith passes many little villages looking for one to raze with a few of his minions. However he notices all the towns he passes look to have already been destroyed. He wonders to himself how intense the fighting has been. No sign of life, only death and burnt hulks that he assumes were buildings. Seeing that the fighting for the most part is over Radrith finds himself at a loss. What should he do? He obviously arrived too late to be of any practical help. He sits on what?s left of some kind of beam. Maybe a hitching post, or might it have been a support beam for a building? He didn?t know, he really didn?t care. ?I will show my worth? he said out loud to solidify his oath. With that he turned back to the imperial fortress. On his way back he decided he would take a look to see if there where any resent torture victims. He loved to poke at their various wounds. He walked through the halls of the fortress down to the torture chambers and found they had recently been used. Following the trail of blood he thought that this must have happened really recently for they had not even cleaned the floor yet. He made his was to the spikes to where they left people to die. What was that, he thought to himself. A burning man? A ghost? He kept behind a rock trying to remain unseen, yet trying to watch what was going on at the same time. Akieen Cloud
Arya looked at Aoki and limped in his path, her eyes too full of hate. "He is mine brother, I already made the oath. Leave him to me." Aoki looked over at ehr and saw the blood poolingat her feet and she saw his anger double and felt her's rise as well the wind in the area began to pick up as the flames around Aoki swirled around him faster. "Aoki, he is MINE!" The wind around her turned to a tornado and she looked at him, her eyes grey and menacing as she looked at him. She looked up as Barcain stumbled onto the falt of the rock and went to her, she drew her bow and repaired it quickly and knocked an arrow to it. spinning she looked at Vincent and felt her heart wrench. Her resolve was there but she didnt have the heart to do it. He looked at her and nodded as she aimed. She aimed insted for the spot her had told her to aim for int he beging. She couldnt bring her self to kill him, she still loved him to much, even if he didnt feel the same for her, even if he had found a new lover and had replaced her she still loved him. He smiled slightly and fell backwards, seemingly dead to the rest of the company. She raced to Barcain the loaded herself into his saddle and took off quickly as tamers and more riders poured from the moutain. The king looked upon his dead son and yelled out in rage. She looked back at the fallen form of Vincent and then up at Aoki who was still smiokeing from his anger as he pointed down to the ground she knew she was in for a lecture and healing. She obeyed reluctently.
Darth Vectis
The Stranger ran through the corridors, resolved he would go for the elf girl first. He followed the humans instructions and ended up exactly where he was hoping, but he found it empty. Void of even the trace of human life for sometime now, but he caught the scent of blood and fire. The scent of pain and anguish was thick in the air, thicker then the smell of blood. He quickly took off another direction, following his nose to the source. He came to a stairway and climbed them slowly, crawling on all fours until he reached a point where he could see in the area. He saw the king standing over a corpse, he could see the anger and rage in the mans face, he then saw the human girl from earlier, on her knees bawling and pleading for her life. He groaned then saw Vincent on the ground, and arrow stuck through him. The Stranger growled and crawled over to him, he grabbed his clothes with his giant hand and dragged him over to the stairs. As he got to the stairs he turned and saw the girl still on her knees bawling. He called out to her. "Girl!" Maura looked to where the voice came from and saw the Stranger with Vincent firmly in one hand while he was beckoning her towards him. "Get over her. He needs medical attention and we can't get it here. Now move it." Maura didn't question what he was doing or saying, she moved quickly to the stairs, running down them, the Stranger following behind her with Vincent thrown over his shoulder. He looked around constantly, making sure that they didn't get ambushed by any guards. Luckly they didn't run into any and they managed to get out in time, Maura slowed down but the Stranger kept running. Telling her to keep going, he ran all the way until he was in the forest. He slowed down and halted all together, getting deep in the forest under the cover of darkness. Maura was out of breathe but the Stranger was breathing normally and setting Vincent down and stnading up striaght, Maura had a dark look on her face. "Why are you helping us? Don't you want to kill him?" The Stranger turned around and looked at her with his glowing green eyes, his hat tilting slightlyover his face. "Yes, I do want to kill him. But he needs to live for me to kill him, and like I said hours ago. I live by a code, he needs to get better and then I can kill him. Now, get ready to cover his mouth." Maura looked at him oddly then hussled over to where he was, the Stranger placed his boot on his chest and grabbed the arrow. He gripped it tight and without warning tore it out of Vincent, he started to wail when Maura clapped her hand over his mouth quickly. The Stranger examined the arrow for a moment then dropped it. He sighed. "Good, you can take your hand awya now." Maura removed it slowly, Vincent was out cold. The Stranger spoke again. "Now I need you to hide him and yourself, from what I could see, Vincent and yourself are in danger. Now, use whatever connections you have with your tamed creatures, i'll call one of mine and he'll watch you until he wakes up." The Stranger stood up striaght and roared, this time a more wild sound. He waited a few moments then spotted the shape of a nimble creature moving towards them, a few seconds later a tiger appeared. Moving up to the Stranger and sat down, the Stranger got on one knee and bowed fully. The Tiger nodded its head, the Stranger stood up striaght. Maura had a look of shock on her face. "A tiger! What the hell is that doing here?" The Stranger looked to Maura. "This is my oldest friend, after what your lover here did to me four years ago. I roamed the land endlessly, nearly died until he found me. He was the first creature I could say I tamed, in a sense. He goes by his own will when things are done, but he always comes when I call. He will watch you carfully, he is very strong and smart. Now, I must be going. I'll be back for him." With that said, the Stranger took off, running like the tiger to Heoul home base. Trying to find out what conspired there.
Deadpool
Vincent smiled to himself. "Stranger toss me off the cliff" "Do what" "The arrow pierced the link that tied me to the king. I am sorry about what happened to you, just know that wasn't not me but his pawn. if you wan thte real killer attack the king himself. He controls all of us. The king is your real target now toss me" Vincent tore away and ran to the egde of the cliff and jumped making the king let out a roar. "There goes one of my best fighters" Maelstrom caught Vincent before he hit the ground and took him to a nearby village. "Get the others now" Maelstrom nodded as took of like a bolt of lighting leaving Vincent to figure out what to do with the arrow wound
Akieen Cloud
Arya had been released from Aoki after being bandaged and had gone back to the Haven and had just been released from the high council. The sun was setting now, she had been lectured for the entire day and was now having a reprieve. She took a deep breathe and enjoyed it for a moment before she felt her pain return from Vincent's betryal. He had tricked her, told her he kept his promise then tricked her, let her be tortured, and then rubbed his misstress in her face like she was just a common fling. She felt her face burn from embaressment, after all that she was still not able to kill him. She knew he was alive, he had told her himself that if she shot him there he would not die. Arya slowly made her way to the dens where she knew Barcain would be resting and walked up to him, her breathe coming in short pants. Her chest hurt from where the Kings son had stabbed her and her back made her want to cry but she held it all in, all the pain, the hurt, the tears. She looked at Barcain and leaned on him while she caught her breathe. 'Have you learned your lesson little one?' 'Barcain, I do not need a lecture from you as well, I know what a fool I was for believeing I could still trust him...I was so stupid!' 'No little one, you were in love.' 'I still am Barcain, I didn't kill him, I couldn't...even aftera ll he did, I still couldn't kill him.' 'Have you told Aoki?' 'No he doesn't need to know...I can handle this mistake on my own.' He felt her heart wrench at the thought of what she had to do and nuzzeled her gently. 'I am here little one when yuo need me.' 'I need you now friend...I need you to help me hunt for him. I need to finish what I started.' 'You are in no condition.' 'I have to fight him, if I die then so be it, but I will not let him go, you forget he is injured as well.' 'Not as badly as you, but if you truely wish to hunt him down, then I shall assist you.' 'Good, then lets go.' 'Now? But Arya, you haven't had time to even recover a small amount.' 'I'll be fine Barcain. I need to do this whilr I have the nerve or I'll never be able to.' He nodded and helped her into the saddle and took off slowly so as not to jar her injuries and began to fly across the lans in search for the one who had hurt her so much in just the short time. They flew for hours and still nothing, she took a deep breathe and tapped him on the head telling him to land, as soon as he did she fell from the saddle and tot eh ground, he roared in alarm and helped her back to her feelt where she used his snout as a crutch, he could smell the blood on her and looked to the ground, it poured from her like a river. 'Arya, this is enough, your body can't take this, you have to let me take you back so the healers can tend to you.' 'No, I'll carry these scars so I know not to trust another with my hearty Barcain. No one but you.' she hugged him gently then slowly begon to walk towards the woods she looked back at him and fell as she passed out from loss of blood. Barcain took a glance back at the saddle and let out a snort. It was covered in blood and his flank was as well but his scales did not let him feel the flow of the red life from her. He looked at his rider, his partner, his friend ans let out a sorrow filled roar. He craddled her gently in his large claws knowing she would not make the Haven for they were to far away he took her and flew till he smelt people on the ground, he landed and looked upon Maura, Vincent and the stranger. He placed Arya behind him as Malestorm landed infront of Vincent and roard fiercely, Barcain simply lowerd his head in submition, smoething Malestorm had never seen a dragon of his size and stature do. Barcain looked back at Arya and whimpered slowly, he had seen Maura try to help through Arya's eyes and needed her help now. Stepping aside he heard Maura gasp as she saw Arya lying in her own blood and loseing more by the second. He touched Malestorms snout with his in a peace greeting and showed he meant no harm that he was only concerned with his rider, but as Vincent stood he let out a low growl showing he didn't want him anywhere near her. Malestorm growled softly as well, the tension between the dragons was thick and both knew that it was going to be hard not to attack the other. Barcain watched tensely as Maura rushed to Arya and looked her over seeing that she had ripped out the stiches that Aoki had given her and that her chest was worse then most injuries she had seen, the hole was large and went striaght through her.
Solbadguy
Aoki silently watched his sister fly off on the back of Barcain, knowing what it was she was doing. His anger began to rise again, but he cut it off this time, scoffing as he turned and headed back to the training grounds. This time he wasn't going to babysit her, he was tired of chasing ghosts and strangers. 'Scorch, how much longer before you think this war will reach the haven?' 'Im not sure my friend, it may be days from now, maybe months.' 'Well, if you need me i'll be in the training grounds.' 'Are we not going after her? She is hurt mortally and has not recovered even the slightest' 'I've said my piece Scorch. She knows what would happen if she came across them out there, knew the danger. If she wants to die so badly that her own family can't talk sense to her, then i say let her go.' With that Aoki turned from the balcony and walked back into the haven, his boots ringing off of the empty hallways. His eyes were normal, no flames leaked or even a glow was present. He had a tight rider's glove over his right hand to cover the mark, since his last temper broke the restraints on the powers at his command, the mark was constantly glowing, and he knew it would die out in a few days. As he entered the training grounds he smiled, this is where he knew he would relax. He prepared for the workout he had planned, shucking off his leather vest and stretching, a few joints popping and worn muscles aching. This would at least help him work off some steam.
Flo
Maura was lost in what she should do, she hadn't suspected this in the least bit. The hole in the elf's chest stared at her. There was only one thing that could possibly help this woman who wished for her death. A larpx. She had met one only once before by mere chance and prayed that this healing beast would come to her need. Sending out a call with her mind she repeated the call five times over. No answer. She sighed as she moved her hand over to her side, pulling out the same liquid that she had used on Vincent before. Pouring it out onto a cloth she turned to the dragon before she applied the bacteria fighter. "This may sting, but it is for the best. It will kill any bacteria that are trying to cause her harm." The dragon nodded for her to procede and she covered the elven woman's mouth with her hand and wiped the wound. She felt the body move under her and winced, looking over to the dragon. "Sorry." Yet, the dragon's eyes were not on her, but a beautiful creature with pure white fur. The larpx! It was as wonderous as she remembered it to be. The beast that was in the shape of a cat, walked over to the elf and set a paw over her open wound. By magic, skin began to regrow over the hole and the elf's color turned to a more normal color. After a few more second's the elf's eyes fluttered open. The larpx taking its leave ran off, back into the woods making what happened to appear a miracle to all who had not seen what had happen with their own eyes. Leaning down over the elf, Maura smiled, "Are you feeling well?"
Akieen Cloud
Arya, jumped up doing a back hand spring and winced as the pain in her back came back but the hole in her chest was gone. She looked at Maura and then at Vincent and her eyes turned dark. "I'm feeling well enough." She walked over to Barcain and reached for her bow but as she did Male storm roared at her causeing BArcain to roar back and before Arya could put a stop to it the dragons were rearing up on their back legs biteing and clawing at each other and then took flight still g\fighting. Arya looked at Vincent he seemed as much in shock as Maura but Arya had a feeling it would happen. She looked at Vincent and felt her heart wrench more. She knew what she had to do, but could she was the question. "Vincent, you know I have to corect this mistake...don't you?" He said nothing only looked at her. She looked up as the dragons fire mixed and decided it was time to go. She called for Barcain and as he swooped down and picked her up she dug into her saddle bag and pulled out a small frme that held a picture in it and let it fall to the ground. 'Arya, what was that?' 'The last part of my past Barcain...the last thing I had to let go of.' He looked back at her and saw her wipe her eyes. The picture had beed her and Vincent just before he had left, a letter was in the back of it. She could remeber it without even looking at it. -Arya, it's quiet here, like I told you it would be. I can't wait to see you tomarrow. Tell everyone I'll be home and then we can be together forever, just like I promised. Wait for me Arya, I will come home to you.- Arya didn't look back this time. 'Barcain, stop I have to think...I have to...I have to do something that will get this off my mind...I need to wash.' Barcain was uneasy about this descieon considering that they were only a few minutes from Malestorm, Vincent and the others. As he landed she jumped off and ran to a tree emting her stomch and then rested on him. After she got her nerves under control she walked to the edge of a river he had picked, a water fall and fairly deep water gave her a good area for a much needed bath. 'Could you warm it up a bit Barcain?' He took a deep breathe and let the fire fly and soon the water was steaming gently. He extened his wing and let her undress and wade intot he water. As she relaxed her layhis head down and rested him slef listening to her as she began to hum an old elven tune as she washed her hair and looked at her back. 'I'll be scarred for life for this.' 'I told you that my self.' 'Yes I know...but at least I know better then to trust him again.' 'Do you really think you can kil him, that's twice you've failed in doing so.' 'I don't know Barcain...I really don't know...' She continued to wash and talk to Barcain, the sore muscles and wounds slowly relaxing in the warm water.
Solbadguy
Aoki's eyes were closed, his stance low and taut, like a spring. He breathed out slowly, and his eyes snapped open, at once his body was in motion. The punches and kicks he threw were precise, powerful and deadly. The practice bag buckled with each blow, never recovering enough to swing back. A left cross, right upper, then a few left jabs and a right elbow. He juked left, sweat flinging from his body as his right knee came up and connected, he juked right, and his left knee followed suit. A swift right kick smacked the bag, echoing through the field, and then the one kick turned to three, six and then ten, his foot slapping into the bag as he held himself balanced on his left leg. He hopped, spinning and landing on the ball of his right foot, his left in a front roundhouse. As it connected, he spun again, his right foot now whistling towards the bag and striking solidly, snapping the iron chain holding it up and sending it flying, smashing against a wall and exploding into sand and chunks of leather. He stopped, breathing slightly heavier, and bowed, his mind tranquil and clear for the first time in the last few days. His tense stance relaxed as he slipped his hands into his pockets and leaned against a nearby tree, gazing up through the leaves into the sunlight. The rays of warmth reflected off his body, making the beads of sweat almost crystalline, his well trained physique scarred all over from battles lost, and wars won. His face was peaceful, eyes closed as he drank in the sunlight. A few stray strands of his deep blue hair was matted against his forehead, due to the sweat, and he sighed, knowing he would need another wash after this. Unless he wanted to smell like Scorch did after a flight. 'I heard that.' 'Oh hush, you know you reek after a long flight, don't try to deny it.' 'I am a dragon, we are above you elves in all manners of smell and appearance' Aoki laughed aloud at the joke his friend cracked, feeling truely carefree since this whole mess began. He stood up off the trunk of the tree and slung his jerkin over his shoulder, slipping his boots back on and his sword as well. He turned and began walking back towards the dens, wanting to spend some time with his partner. The only true friend he's ever had. 'You musn't blame yourself for her actions my boy, they were her decisions and hers alone.' 'Scorch, you really creep me out. Sometimes I feel like you're living inside my head' 'Well my friend, this is pretty close enough don't you think?' Again Aoki chuckled, taking the steps up to the haven two at a time, a casual smile on his face once again.
Deadpool
Vincent sat on the ground finsihed up mending his wound the best he could. Maelstrom had suffered no injuries frm the fight between him and Ayra's dragon and had made sure he didn't inlifct any. Vincent rubbed the side of his dragon. "Well no matter what shape we are in we need to get ready for the King's attack on the haven" He pulled the necklace out of his shirt and held it in his hand. He wiped it clean and let it dangle in the light, reflecting it all over the place. "The King thinks I am dead and Ayra wants to kill me." She didn't kill you the other times. What makes you so sure she wants to kill you now? Maelstrom flicked his tongue in and out. "Twice she didin't. She thinks I didn't fufill my promise and I haven't yet. I have severed the link between me and the King, Her arrow broke the spell binding me so now me thoughts and actions are free. But unfortuantly we will have to wait for the battle to ensue then we can make our move against the King." Maelstrom nodded. He will think we are coming to aid him Vincent almost laughed but he felt a stinging pain that cut him short of it. "When we Will be really coming to kill him" Maelstrom raised his head. The king is departing with his army for the haven. The air is thick with riders. The King is by far stronger then you "That has no meaning to me. But he will not lay a hand on Ayra. We ride. Darth Vectis
The Stranger stood crouched in a high tree, watching the elf girl from a distance. The dragon was a bulk and sometimes its body was defined, the elf girl was barely noticable with human eyes. But the Strangers eyes could pick her out easily, he was gonna make sure she didn't do anything that would get her killed. He would stop her if she tried anything rash, the dragon would understand most likely. Being a tamer gave him a special connection with all creatures of this earth. He watched carfully, making sure she didn't escape his sight by moving behind the dragon and running off. Or by taking off, he kept his eyes on the elf girl and his ears on the rest of the land. Making sure that nothing could sneak up on him, a few moments later he heard heavy wings flapping. A second later a great hawk landed on his shoulder and whispered into his ear. The way that birds did. He grinned to himself as he heard the detailed information of Vincents plan to attack the king when he tries to assult the Haven. He would attack him when his guard was at his lowest, and the Stranger would be near by to make sure the king would tell him what he needed to know. To know who he was, what he was, and where he came from, nothing else mattered. He whispered back to the hawk and it took off. Heading back the direction it came from, his grin persisted, thoughts of finally remembering what he was and what he did before becoming nothing but a simple creature who knew nothing better then using brute force and being a cold hearted tamer that respected noone but the animals he talked to. Feeling like he was becoming something of an animal himself. He snapped out of his thoughts and looked to the dragon and the elf girl, remembering that he needed to watch her. He needed to observe how the situation was changing around him, and how much closer he was to true vengence agaisnt the thing that thought it was right to desecrate his memories.
