Redemption
The Self-Appreciation Week event gave me this idea. Do you ever feel like that the username you use gives you a set personality? Confusing right? Let me explain. When I was amgoddess, I only ever posted in the Adventure Square. The majority of the RPGs I did were fantasy related with my characters being very similar to each other. When I was Reiku, I started to post in other sections of OB other than the Adventure Square. I also started to make individual characters for each RPG and explore different genres of RPGs. When I was Kura, I posted in other sections of OB often. I made RPGs that were different and out of the purely fantasy realm (or tried to). Now that I'm Dare I try to be different than what I did with my other usernames by taking risks, making new friends, doing things I wouldn't of when I was any of those other usernames. Anyhow, the main reason I change my username is that I felt like I've evolved/matured from that username and need to make a new one that describes me better than before. Why do you change your username? Do you feel that a specific username you've used has been given a certain personality by other users?
Transtic Nerve
I've had this username on OB for.... probably around 5 years now... wow its been a long time. When i first came here, this place was over-run by DBZ fans who were still obsessing over SS-J 5 Gokou. lol. I was a pretty mean member, just telling it how it was though... I eventually made my way up here into moderator status/super mod or whatever is right beneath admin. James and I are good friends, speaking of which, you need to send me a message James-y. When i was a mod, i had to be myself, but not so mean, and tons more professional... and I was... for a long time. But then I had school, work, and relaitonships to worry about, took my time away from OB... now i come here every once in a while.... just to check up on the place you know.... but i'm still the smart-*** know it all i always was lol. Retribution
When I was Altron, I was pretty much a newbie here. I posted mostly in the Battlegrounds and gave a few stabs at posting elsewhere, but that didn't work very well until I left and came back about six months later. I didn't really want a name change for a milestone in my internet development/maturity, I just thought it sounded cooler. It ended up being a rather large change, though. When I became Retribution, I think my posting quality got much better and I started devoting more time to the graphic arts. I also started branching out and talking to people on AIM/MSN. I became a moderator too... go figure. I'm guessing I'll stop coming to OB once I'm in college and don't have much time for anything else aside from my studies. Hopefully I won't completely disappear, though.
Zen
When I first joined the OBs, it was under an account by the name of Double_B_Daigo. A horrible username based in a character I had created. During this period, I was basically an enormous n00b, and I will admit this. I had terrible grammar and rarely capitalized what I should have while also screwing up puncuation and committed several other OB sins. I am actually a bit embarrased of this time period, but I suppose all members start off slow. When I moved from Kansas to my current residence, I found that my old username wasn't picking up, and I wasn't banned, so I had to wait around for a while and find another Message Boards to hang out at. I found one and ironically became a mod of an OB style RPG Arena, which I had came up with. That was the birth of ReFlux. After I was able to return to the OBs, I brought along the username ReFlux under a new account. I felt I had matured a bit and was doing alright. Then I took a long, long hiatus from the OBs and didn't come back for a few months. Then I returned, and decided on changing my username to a recent anime favorite, Mugen from Samurai Champloo. I was still not a full bloom I feel, and I once again took a long hiatus from the OBs. Then I returned once and finally for all. I wanted to change my name to a long time favorite video game character, The Boss. A descesion that was helped along due to my infatuation with Slim Thug. I am now, I'd say, a thousand times improved since my DBD days. I've made several new friends, many of whom weren't aware of my previous existance on the Boards, and were quite suprised. Heh, I feel like I'm just a guy who likes change, though I am fairly satisfied with my current username. I may change it in the far future, but I doubt it. Heh.
Ryoko T.D.C.
when i was spotg67 (i think it was that...heheh...) i was a real noob aswell. as The Boss said in his post, i too had bad grammer and bad puncuation and many other crap-shoot things noobs do. infact, i think i was kinda annoying! i would post crappy posts mostly in the Lounge, Anime, Art Request, and RPG topic areas. with Ryoko T.D.C., i tought i had grown a little bit. less annoying. i would and still only post really in the Lounge, Art, and RPG topic areas. i rarely post anymore really, more PMing. i like to stay quiet here on the OB and just read what people have ta say. and if i feel like comenting, i'll make it worth mine and other while. i've been here for 3 years and i'm not much of a poster...man, i gotta start post 'en more! ^_^
Sakura
My first username was Sakuramon, I chose that name because I didn't know what else to call myself and I used that on other forums that I joined duriung that period. When I arrived at Otakuboards I was a complete n00b since the other forums I'd been in had bad posting quality and this was the first time I'd ever participated in a text based RP. I admit I was shocking, I never put spaces after full stops, I used to write RPs in script form and my grammar and spelling wasn't the best. I changed my name to Ohkami when I felt myself mature on the Boards. Some people I RPed with in the beginning (when I was Sakuramon) were hard on me for how I was, and I took that to heart and decided to improve myself. Ohkami represented my love for wolves (which I still have) and I spent quite a while with it, growing more. Now I'm Sakura, and I have a feeling this name will be staying for a long time. It's my favourite flower/plant, I just love the name, and some of my characters have the name. Since Sakuramon I have grown a lot I feel. But some things never change, my posts still mainly remain in the Arena section, and that's the way it'll stay most likely. Though I do post in the Otaku Lounge on and off ^__^
Boo
When I was dark_apocalyps I had terrible quality (hence the missing 'e' at the end) and really was a pain. Fact. The reason why I took that name was because it was also my e-mail adress, and the password to my e-mail adress, and the name of the mafia I was in in Habbohotel *slaps himself*. Anyway, my name didn't really say much about my attitude, except if you want to interpretate it as "U R Teh Apocalypse!" (which I can understand). It's not like I've taken a username that fits my clothing style or friends circle or anything. Back then I just thought it was... err... cool I guess >_>; Anyway. When I became Boo I thought of myself that I changed quite a bit. Boo sounds so much more optimistic than my other username. I'm still a pain to some, but atleast a pain with better post quality. I thought Boo was more fitting the image that OtakuBoards wanted to have, since it's more clean and... spelled right. Under the name Boo, I hardly ever posted outside the Art Studio unless there really was something interesting in the Otaku Lounge. It also kind of closes a chapter, since the majority that I talk to, knows me better as Boo than as the other username. Which is a good thing ¬_¬; If I ever come up with a username that I like more, I'll take that instead, but for now it's Boo. Ha.
Cat
I have always had the same user name. I never changed it. I love cats and thats where the cat part came from. I added 14 on because cat was taken at the time and that was my age. Back then I had really bad posting skills. I don't know if anyone remebers me from then sense most of the people I talked to are no longer around or have different user names. I really hope that no one remebers me. Anyways at first I only posted in the Arena and the Anime Lounge. now that I have been a member for almost 2 years I have moved on to the music, Otaku Lounge, and art sections. I still go to the other sections now and then but don't post much. I still like the name Cat but sometimes I wish to lose the 14 part. It makes me look younger then what I am. Riku
When I was CloudsOnly189, I was new here and I guess I wanted it to be known that I like Final Fantasy and video games. I wanted to be known better around here and make some friends. My posting quality wasn't all the wonderful, hence having some beat-downs by moderators. I didn't really care how I wrote as long as my idea was known. Now that I'm Keyblade Wielder, my postings have gone way better and I almost know everyone here, but especially in the Art Studio. I'm now a graphic artist and I help people whenever they need it. I try to be nice to people as long as they follow the rules and (almost) everyone around here knows me for making their banners. lol.
Sandy
On reason I changed from Sage to Sandy was to try to leave my past mistakes behind and begin from a moderately clean table. Of course most of the people knew of my name change, but still I felt refreshed. I believe I'm acting differently here now, although most of it is due to me growing up instead of the new user name, but still I think there's a difference. I can't see myself changing my user name anymore, not for a long time at least, because I really feel comfortable being Sandy. It describes me in so many levels it's hard to put into words. Frankie
Oddly enough Dare wasnt I just complaining about name changes yesterday on messenger? Well mainly because i thought this "dare" was someone i was jsut meeting and then realized hwo it really was, boy i felt stupid. Anyways back when OB was still rather ... Hmm i keep thinking V2 or something but not i cant remember. I was Mean&Maple. Or something close to that. That name was because of legend of zelda. I was a bit of an idiot back then and still am. Anyways I left OB for a while and when I returned they ahd done something so EVERYONE had to sign up again. Thats when I went to Blanko_el-miez Dont even start. I knew it was spelled and placed wrong from the get go. We were doing some stupid class thing in junior high and i just randomly came up with that. After i did though i realized Blanko was spelled wrong. I didnt mind though. While i was BlankoElMiez however i was very, NOOB ish i guess i could say. Post Quality was terrible. Yes it is still somewhat bad now but that is out of lazyness. My posts back then I used to hit the enter key at the end of every sentance and it looked sloppy. When Name changing became available I changed to Blanko. I know i could have switched the K to a C but I decided not to. My stupid spelling error seemed to stick with me. As Blanko my post quality began to get better. I learned better spelling but I typefast so I am extreamly typo prone. I would hang around the Adeventure Arena and Digimon forums (when it was still... used and popular enough to have some really wierd long threads going) A while back I just got tired of the name Blanko anddecided to do the oddest thing. Use my real first name as a Username. Thus here I am. Frankie. I still have typos and my grammer isnt great (i doubt it ever will be) and now i stick almost soley to the adventure Inn. I dont watch much anime, and the games I play are old or jsut not worth talking about. I will occasionly come to the lounge and post but not often. So I hardly post anymore but thats because finding good rpgs that i can handle is a difficult thing. Oh well. Sometimes I wish I picked a more interesting name other than Frankie but it is suiting me just fine. For now...

Annie
Oh man, let's see if I can remember. animangademon- Very n00bish during this time. The first username I ever used for the very first message board I ever used. I stumbled upon the OB by looking for anime pictures. Well, I stumbled into theOtaku.com, then ventured to the OB. Anyhow, like I said, very n00bish and extremely new to the anime scene and message board scene. This name lasted a while, but I kept getting members PMing me with "Could you please change your name, it's so long and hard to remember!" So..after this, I moved to... Annalisse- My real name. My grammar and spelling, over-all post quality, started to iron out. I wanted to be taken serious, so I used my real name. However, I got basically the same problem as I had with 'animangademon'. Annie- Is my nickname, and what I'm known for. This name lasted a while, but got bored with being 'normal', heh. Mad Hatter- Is derived from my favorite obsession, Angel Sanctuary. I am still obsessed with that manga, and the character in which I got the idea for my name; Mad Hatter. This character and I share many qualities, and I strangely found comfort in her. This name didn't last long, sadly. I guess I got too annoyed with people questioning me over and over if I was depressed/wanting to commit suicide. Goddess- Ah, this name. This one lasted a very long time. By this time, my grammar and quality is pretty much where it is to this day. This name came from my arrogance, and the fact that one of the most important people in my life dubbed me "my goddess". So, it stuck....and no matter what, I'm still his goddess. And in fact, that's what brought upon.. Athena, Goddess of War/Wisdom. I wanted to remain a goddess, but really wanted to narrow it down to who I relate to more. I was actually looking more into Egyptian goddesses, but none really fit me. And again, 'Athena' was given to me by the one and only, Joe (AC!D!C). I looked her up, and oddly, we shared some powerful/demanding characteristics. The Greek goddess, Athena, intrigued me and I really admire her. Very strong, very independent, and so wise. So, here I am. Arrogant? Hm, perhaps...but it's who I am. Take it or leave it.
2010DigitalBoy
well, I'd say I been through some major changes my 4 years at OB... a long and bumpy road indeed. Tical (origional) - As Tical, I wasn't just a n00b. I was a power n00b. Meaning I rained destruction on the whole of OB without any idea that I was doing anything wrong (mods weren't as strict back then). Then I resurfaced some ancient threads and got banned for it :P Anime_Forever888 - My cousins profile he let me use. Wasn't so different from Tical - not the best poster and hardly noticed by most other than my friends. At the same time I had this I made my bro a profile, but he didn't know how to type so I did it for him. Metal_Sonic 700 - On this profile I increased my post quality tenfold and used a lot of big words cuz I wanted to get into Drix d'Zanth's smart people club XD Any way, those two were banned eventually. Kyo no Ryu - This was my first time as just an average OBer. I went for a long time and had some good friends. Dabbled in all over the place and did a bunch of RPs. Fun time. Eventualy, though, catastrophe struck when I lost my password. So I formed some other account and told the mods 'yo I been cheating you' and they IP banned me. Eventually the IP wore off and I created the profile I'm using now. That One Odd Dude - At this time my post quality had finally gotten good as I now knew what was expected. I pretty much only ever posted in the video game sections. Thorax The Impaler - Also was mostly in the video game section, but I started to go a little to the lounge as well. Hug Monster - Under this name I got excessively frilly, and I made almost all posts in the Otaku Lounge. Nomad Tical - Under the alias Nomad Tical I did a helluva lot of posting in the Anthology area. I helped turn it into the most active forum on the OB back around January. It was a good run. Tical - Now I go everywhere, making most contributions to the music thread. EDIT: I decided to dive into the etymology of each title of mine. Tical - Tical is the name of the first character I ever made up. Back when I was eight I had a video game idea called 'Puzzling' in which enemies are created from puzzles. It was vvery intersting and had a unique story with Zelda-esque gameplay. Anywho, you played as machete-weilder Tical. The name stuck with me and has been used as the main character in almost all the stories I've written. Also, in Puzzling, the country Tical was from was called Kiala, a name I have used for female charcters in a lot of my recent works. Anime Forever - My cousin and I had this thing where we would always scream 'Anime Forever!!!' back when we were going throuhg our anime phase. Every time we ended a conversation or he went home, we would call out ANIME FOREVER! Anyway, that's why he used it. Metal Sonic 700 - As you can guess, this comes from Sonic villain Metal Sonic. My bro is a HUGE Sonic fan so I said he should use it. MS is actually more my favorite character than his, but we had just seen the movie so MS was like a godly character. 700 he claims is his favorite # I don't know why. Kyo no Ryu - Now that I know a decent amount of Japanese, I know that this translates to "Kyo's Dragon." At the time, though, I thought it meant "Kyo the Dragon." Nowadays I use it as the title of a weapon. Kyo no Ryu is the 1st blade of the BAH (Big *** Halberd) and is a short, fat sword with a talking dragon wrapped around it. The blade can drain anything, even lifeforce or existence. That One Odd Dude - People have called me weird, crazy, strange... all sorts of things, but I don't fit any of them by definition. The word I used to describe myself by is 'odd' and so I wanted people to remember me as 'that one odd dude.' Thorax The Impaler - In one episode of Xplays mini-series 'Bob And Steve' Steve begins calling himself Thor-axe the impaler. It was really cool, so I used the name. I left off the 'e' cuz I thought names couldn't have more than 15 letters. Hug Monster - I was going through a phase >_> ? Nomad Tical ? - At the time, I thought of myself as a lone wanderer -- a nomad -- and I felt I was on a sort of mental journey. The ? symbol is what I consider to be my official symbol. When I found out the pprigional Tical profile had disappeared, I got my name changed back. Thanks to Dagger for doing all these changes for me ;)
Ikillion
Hmm, The only reason that I think I was ever sand dragon 19 was probaly because for the most part of my online life if I have used that name to sign up for things that I needed to sign up for to get things that I have wanted. I though this would be more of the same, seeing as this was the first forum that I have ever signed up for, I though it would be more of the same. I know I was some kind of a newbie, (Didn't read the rules, probaly had horrible post quality that kind of stuff.) To be truthful, I really don't remember when I finally decided. "Alright, my noob days are over I must now do a switch!" So it was then when I decided to become Ikillion. I think he was a name of one of my Role playing characters that I write with a friend of mine before it was trashed, I really liked the name though and decided to use it as my user name. The only reason that I think I did it was to try and wipe what was left of my last username off the face of OB and start anew. The only thing that I find pretty pathetic though, is that I have no idea how to say it properly.

Aaryanna
Do you ever feel like that the username you use gives you a set personality? Why do you change your username? Do you feel that a specific username you've used has been given a certain personality by other users?
I suppose on some level it does since I adore my dog and it just seemed natural to show that adoration by using her name for my user name and pictures of her for my avatar and signature. So in that sense it is my personality as I am someone who loves her dog enough for it to be considered an obsession. An obsession I justify by the desire to eventually become a vet. ^_^ Well seeing that I?ve never changed my user name I can?t really answer that question. Especially since I have no intention of changing it. I like it and I?m comfortable with it. I?m sure that others have given me a certain personality based on my user name and such; it?s kind of unavoidable. I find that when others change their user name that for a brief time it?s kind of unsettling, as you?ve come to think of them as being that name. Especially when they change it a lot. It may be because I?m fairly new to online forums and because people don?t usually change their name in the regular world. ^_^
Gavin
Why do you change your username? Do you feel that a specific username you've used has been given a certain personality by other users?
Well I've had seven different usernames over three accounts in the nearly five years I've been here, I know that sounds confusing, but my first two username changes came before we could actually get the changed so I just created a new account with a new name. I suppose I should list the seven names and give an explanation as to why I chose it and how it reflected my personality.

MajinGogeta: When I first joined OB I was pretty much obsessed with Dragonball Z, as most of the denizens were, unfortunately as I recall a lot of the good usernames were taken so I went with MG because I simply liked the character and liked the idea of the Majin transformation. My spelling, grammar, post quality back then was dire, I'm glad the account's not around any more, as I'd hate to look back on that stuff.
Shadowed Demise: Second username and second profile, created in November 2001 in or around six weeks after the first one, I can't recall exactly what made me change from MG, aside from the fact that I'd found the Games and Stories forums and was more interested in RPing than talking about DBZ. SD seemed a more original username and better reflected my improving quality, although not by much.
Red XIII: The first username of my current account, and the one most people from back in the day see and recall me as, although that leads to the inevitable "I never realised you were still around" comment. Red XIII as you might imagine came from Final Fantasy VII which I had just started playing in or around the time when I wasn't happy with Shadowed Demise any more. I chose this username mainly because I liked the character Red XIII mainly due to the fact I saw some parallels between our personalities.
Outcast: Can't recall exactly when I changed from Red XIII to Outcast, nor can I really remember the reasons for it. It came about in the second wave of username changes and I suppose really reflected my going back to the Adventure Arena full time. Strangely most people who knew me as Red XIII didn't realise it was me as Outcast.
Lynx: Borrowing the term "The Lynx Effect" from the deodorant company, I set out with this username, mainly I felt a need to change Outcast as a name, and really I suppose I just liked the name Lynx as it reflected a slightly more exuberant personality.
Kane: One of my longer lasting usernames, although I suppose that's only really to say that I got tired of Lynx fairly quickly, Kane was probably my longest lasting username before my current one. Kane I think reflected a more mature, slightly darker roleplayer persona developed during the Black Horizon series. There are a few sources for the name, Kane from Command & Conquer, Kane from the WWF and Mr Kane a teacher I had in primary school.
And finally...
Gavin: My current username, my own first name, the longest lasting one and really the one that best reflects my overall personality. Came about when everyone started changing their usernames to their first names and really I'd been getting sick of people calling me Kane all the time in posts and PMs.
So, five years and seven names, and that's the best explanation I can give.

Fyxe
Holy crap, reading through this made me realize just how many of you I talked to a few years back. But then everyone got new accounts... and let's just say, I was one very confused kid. Odd. Anyway. Well, Conna_da_fox was my first username. I have no idea where I got the Conna part from. Made up name, you know, eleven year-old stuff. Bah. I had sort of used it at the beginning of my Otaku chat career, until it eventually turned into dark_demon, but, anyhow... As Conna, I was well... inexperienced in the whole delightful world of online forums. So, I was starting out, learning the ways. I stuck to a lot of anime-based discussions and the Otaku Lounge. I found it a lot easier to talk in those to sections of the site. Then again, when I started out as Conna, I would tend to lie a lot in my posts. Just about stupid, somewhat trivial things. I think the only "serious" thing I lied about was my age. I only did that because I was dumb and thought you could only be a part of a forum if you were over 13. I was eleven, I don't really blame myself. Even though I find it idiotic now. That name stuck with me for a long time. Maybe... a year and a half? I made a lot of friends in this name and started off my whole graphics art career with it as well. I was a lot more popular then, I suppose. XD Then came Lix. Another made up name. I liked the sound of it, because it had an X in it. I'm a sucker for words with Z's and X's in them. I don't quite know why. When I took on the name Lix, I was far more expanded in my vocabulary, better at grammar and spelling. And I sort of felt it was time for a name change because Conna_da_fox sounded a bit... childish. With all the under scores and the so-called word "da" in it. XD Under the username Lix, I started RPGs, became more active in other parts of the boards, and I went more into depth with my banners, I suppose. I didn't keep in contact with that many other users, my Buddy List was rather neglected. And now I am currently Bláse. Yes, I realize that I put the accent mark above the wrong letter, but I've been lazy and haven't bothered to get it set straight. I don't really know why I changed my name, I just wanted to. I've had it for a few months now, and I'm almost considering another change. Anyway. Now I'm more frequent in RPGs and the Otaku Lounge. I don't really stray into the Art Forum that often anymore, seeing as I no longer have the right software to make my own art. Now I rarely send or recieve PMs, even though I've tried. So, yes. I guess in each stage I've differed. I think one of the biggest changes since Conna_da_fox is that I've become far less sociable on the "Buddy" scale. Oh well, I still like posting, even through these three years. ^_^
Charles
I think the one thing I've learned from this thread, is that some people need to learn to make up their minds and focus on their posts instead of worrying about what people think of their names. There's no reason for anyone to blow through half-a-dozen user names. Ridiculous. lol Anyway, I started as The Great White Frying Pan Man, and had to change that for version 3 because we weren't allowed to input that many characters. So, I chose a variation of my aim handle at the time. My name was then changed to my real name when I became Administrator and I haven't really cared to have it changed back since then. Horendithas
Initially when I first started joining online forums I always used my name Crystia as a username. It just seemed odd to use a name that wasn?t me. After several negative experiences I decided to use indifference when joining new places. Most of the places I had trouble with no longer exist, but I was attempting to reflect my attitude that on some level if someone objected to what I liked in anime shows, well I was indifferent to their objection. Ironically, I?ve never run into that type of problem at either myOtaku or OtakuBoards, so the change ended up being unnecessary. However, now that I have been using it for almost a year, I?ve grown use to it and don?t see a reason to change it to something else. So in the end it didn?t really change my personality as the way I interact with others hasn?t changed either. It was just a part of me that already existed. As for it giving me a personality among others? Well I suppose it might, based on how others perceive it. The one thing I have noticed is that people often think I?m a guy where before there was no question that I am a girl. I?ve also encountered members over at myOtaku who tell me that I?m intimidating. I?m not sure how I managed that one though as I don?t behave any differently than I did at other forums.
TheShinje
I began my time here as SaiyanGohan2002, I was a horrible n00b who made terrible flame smiley riddled posts and used a vomitious green text all the time. Then I became Nuchlear, which was mis-spelt on purpose so that I could have a simpler hotmail address and worked here on the OB as well. After that, I named my account SunRiZe which made use of the new admin name changes instead of being a new account all together. It was a disastrous name change which ended up being totally n00bish because I wanted to vary the caps lettering in my name. Not a good look. After that travesty of name changing, I re-named to Shinji Ikari, I added Ikari to my preferred name to distance myself from the infamous 'Shinji' of v2 fame. (I wonder sometimes if he is still here, posting under a new name and all.) After I had established that I wasn't the Shinji of old, I became Shinji, perhaps the name I'm best known around here for, my longest name phase to date. About 2 years pass, and I grow tired of Shinji, so I rename to Zenju, which was supposed to jus be a re-wording of the Shinji name, but was so differently spelled out it felt like the name of an Oranje juice company. I then went on to become Evil Jedi for a time before finally reverting back to Shinji for recognitions sake. Then at the beginning of this year, I decided to make new beginnings and became Rapture Ruckus, a name that tied in my faith and beleifs practice in with my forum name in a much cooler way that my original idea of JeS-us_fR*eeAk_3811209O_o; would have.
that last part is a joke. :p
Over that time I guess my posting has improved and my personality has changed. I don't put that down to my name changes as much as I put it down to time, maturing, and in general, getting to know how this place works, and what makes it tick. In fact, I'd venture to say that name changes are a symptom of time and maturing here as opposed to being the catalyst for it. Evidence for that can be seen in what the names are changed to. From someting consisting of some underscores, mis-spellings and numbers at the end of the name to something that is crisp, clear and to the point. Wow, that's a total of 8 names. I need a freakin life man!
SunfallE
Do you ever feel like that the username you use gives you a set personality?
Not really. It doesn?t change who I am or how I post. I choose my user name since the character it?s from has been one of my favorite characters from a novel for a very long time.
Anyhow, the main reason I change my username is that I felt like I've evolved/matured from that username and need to make a new one that describes me better than before. Why do you change your username? Do you feel that a specific username you've used has been given a certain personality by other users?
Well seeing that I?ve had a variation of the same name as my e-mail for over nine years and that the plates on my car also say Sunfall, I don?t see myself changing my username any time soon. For the most part it never occurred to me. If it gives me a perceived personality among other members, well, not much I can say about that. I know that for the most part I don?t assume someone is a certain way because of their username. Though the one?s with weird symbols and spellings, do make it difficult for me to guess what they might be like. But usually I wait to see how they post before I decide what their personality is like.
