Sweet 16

God, I hate that term, lol. Anyway, my sixteenth birthday is coming up, and I was wondering if ya'll have any good ideas (preferably cheap ideas, but any will do) of what I could do. Also any funny/weird stories of things that happened on your sixteenth.

Well 1st of all, for 16, i wound up presenting chikins at a livestock show. i dont recomend doing so. (though i did get some major money) . but, um, i would sugest simply getting a couple of friens, eating at a casual restarant, seeing a movie, then go to some place, an overlook, a beach, somplace semi-secluded. take some CDs some drinks, (preferably non-alcohlic) and just sit out there with your best buds atlking and hanging out.

[FONT=Georgia]That pretty much sums up my sixteenth birthday! I went out to lunch with good friends, browsed the bookstores (my idea of fun), saw a movie, just hung out and had a good time. Now, if I was allowed to drive, this would be a very [i]different[/i] story, but I'm not so...it was localized fun. But it was a nice sweet sixteen. :animeswea

I'm now looking forward to my eighteenth birthday, where I'll probably find some election to vote in during my day of euphoria.[/FONT]

[font=trebuchet ms]If you want to celebrate it like a true milestone, I highly recommend a [b]Murder Mystery Party.[/b] I did it for my eighteenth, and it makes for a memorable evening; and not many people do them, so it stands out in the memories of everyone involved.

on my sixteenth birthday, i got to go to the dentist. then my ditzy dentist let my stupid friend eat flouride..and she ended up throwing up my birthday cake.


lets just say it was a less than perfect evening.

The only thing weird that happened was that my friends shared a changeroom at the clothing store and the guy that worked there kept flirting with them.

Some people have these huge blow out parties and get some beast car they can't afford, for bing 16? o_O Anyway, mine was nothing diffrent from any other year. I had a small birthday with the parents, and younger brother, and recieved gifts. I enjoyed it, I never wanted it big. Simpe and sweet woked for me, but everyone's diffrent.[/SIZE] :catgirl:

I too had a small party with my family. All my friends had gone to CA for the week on a school trip. (I wasn't one of the people chosen to go.) Anyways I had good time with my family.

To tell you the truth you should keep the party on the small side. If there are too many people there it could get out of hand and be the worst. What ever you chose I hope you have a good time. And as a end note Happy Birthday.
