Never grow up... Neverland. A place of fantasy, where dreams come true and you will never grow old. A beautiful, magical land, where children are free to run and play as they please. Everything your heart could ever desire is in Neverland. Come to Neverland. --- Peter sat in his filthy pit of luxurious decadence. Everything he could ever need was right here, from the alcohol he was so hooked on, to the sexual act he coveted so fiercely. Some of the female members of the Punks were more than willing to cater to his every whim, and he took full advantage of this. Suddenly, there was a smart rapping at the door, and Peter snapped out of his alcohol-fuelled drowsiness. He got to his feet shakily and staggered over to the door of his tree-house, knocking over tables and chairs as he went. "Hang on...hang on..." he slurred, and, smelling his own breath layered with the thick stench of alcohol, he was repulsed. He reminded himself that he needed to wash and brush his teeth at some point, but other things were occupying his thoughts at that time. He shook his head to clear the last of the alcoholic fog that clouded his senses, and wrenched the door open. A smallish girl stood at the door, her face thick with make-up, her multi-coloured hair standing on end. "What is it, Tink?" asked Pete groggily. "Sorry to wake you," she replied smoothly, eyeing Pete's half-dressed figure and licking her lips, "But we have a couple of newcomers. No idea how they got here, but...well, you should see for yourself." "Can't it wait?" "Apparently not. They need to see you now." "Fine. Just...give me a second, would you?" he asked. She nodded, and he shut the door softly, with a smile. He looked at himself. He needed to put some more clothes on. Maybe one of the newcomers was a girl. He stumbled round the tree-house, trying desperately to find a shirt or something to pull on, and finally found a black shirt, which he threw on and buttoned up as he walked to the door. He pulled the door open, the wooden frame cruising through the thick layer of rubbish that lined Pete's floor. He ruffled his hair, trying to get it to look a little better, and belched, letting all the gas that had built up escape. That was better. He went to meet the newcomers. --- Blase, Ezekiel and silver_blade, you all need to post your arrivals in Neverland, as well as your first reactions to the place, then move on to your first meeting with Pete. The Lost Punks would have been waiting at the gate as you arrived, to take you to Pete. Lost Punks, that is Gavin and cancer, you will have been waiting with the other Lost Punks (use the list of names that Revelation gave in the Underground thread, as well as their costumes when writing about them) for the new kids to arrive. When they arrive, you will need to take them to Pete. Hinata, you are waiting back at the Tree-House for the newcomers to arrive. You can post your conversation with Pete and beyond. I will post as soon as everyone else has. Any questions post them in the Underground thread. Welcome to Neverland.
Fyxe
It was odd, what had happened. As if, they'd all been lifted off into nothing. Similar to the surreal world of LSD. Wendy knew it all, and that seemed to relate to the current situation most. It all seemed delightful in the beginning, until you came to the cruel realization of what you would feel like later. "Your offspring will be in the finest care money can buy! Do not worry for them. This theme park is all about the realism of a child's Utopia. You must feel secure in your decisions! You can come retrieve your children at any time you please! So, relax, and let your child have an unforgettable experience." This had been the reply to the outburts of protest when it was said that you could not accompany your own children into Neverland. Surprisingly this eased and cleansed many minds. Even Wendy had thought it somewhat dodgy, but she couldn't place her finger on what seemed threatening. She bit her tongue and went with it. Their mother, the mother of the Darling children had been so persistent. Insisted that they went in, even without her. She seemed eager to repay them, for abondoning them, disappearing those many years ago. Wendy was nothing less than ecstatic to be reunited with her younger brothers. She was willing to do anything to give them one happy day. Maybe she had gained more traits from her mother than she'd taken into consideration. But then something happened. Everything took a turn for the worse. The laughing turned to fear and confusion. Something about it overwhelmed her. Wendy was no longer feeling the sense of pure bliss and freedom that she had upon entering the theme park. The one time should had truly gotten a break from drugs and eroticism. Something went wrong that day. "Wendy?" A feeble voice cried out. "Wendy? Please wake up!" A small sob came from her side. She cracked her eyes open. Her nostrils filled with an earthy scent, so different from the clublife smells. "John, John! She's awake!" Wendy heaved herself up from off the ground. Her clothes covered in a sandy textured dirt. She looked up to find Michael standing by her, his eyes brimmed with tears. "... What happened?" Her voice came out raspy. She immediately stopped talking, the sound reminded her of the time before she'd had the secondary operation, where they'd worked on her vocal cords. "You passed out," John told her, holding out a hand to help her up. She took it. She made sure to clear her throat before speaking again. "But... where are we?" She asked, scanning their surroundings. "You are in Neverland." What seemed to be a disembodied voice replied. The three of them flinched. They turned around. A group of kids stared back at them. They seemed to be in a long age range, five to seventeen, perhaps. But they all had a familiar look going about them. Roughed up and morbid. Hardly any of them were smiling. Not the most encouraging welcoming commitee. The Darlings remained silent. "Welcome."
Hinata
Tinkerbell, so dubbed, Tink by the Lost Punks, stood at the door for a moment letting out a deep sigh and shaking off the aroused feelings sweeping up her body. Seeing Peter half naked always turned her on and he knew it. She smirked to herself before glancing back at the door. She moved down the cluttered steps, picking up random things, more so of value to her. She could only think of Peter?s body. Remember he?s off limits Tink. She reminded herself as she gathered a few more things and moved to her room. She dropped the various objects at her desk and sorted them for her use. To think, Tinkerbell, one of the most hellish in the group is a closet neat freak. She laughed to herself for a moment. She laughed at the moment she met all of the Lost Punks. Tied and upside down in a tree. It sucked to have been caught like that and she knew she had to stat around them. They were a crafy group although their traps had be obsolete when she first met them. From then on she knew she had to able to outsmart them, and if staying organized was the way she didn?t mind it. She felt it was the only way to have a one-up on everyone else in the group. She now laid the best traps, in and out the tree house and everyone knew it. She even managed to catch Peter on his not so good days. She laughed at seeing him drunk. He was always more relaxed then, but the burden of something within him always seemed to loomed. ?Hey Tink!? She stopped her daydream and went to the door. "Bout time you look better than crap." She looked him up and down in his black shirt and ran over head, shaking her head pitifully at him. ?You need to bathe.? ?Whatever Tink. He rolled his eyes at her and noticed the empty treehouse. ?Instead of telling me about myself, why don?t you clean up this treehouse for the newcomers?? ?Now that you can throw away with the rest of the shit that litters your floor Peter.? She moved towards him her finger in his face and cursed at him in Japanese. Something she only did when she was hot. ?Besides, you are the leader of this group. Get your ass out of your room and you tell the others what they should do.? ?Tink don?t start that shit again.? Tinkerbell knowing that she was about to hit a hot spot with Peter backed down for a moment. She tried hard to bite her tongue and balled her fists at her side and glared at him. She could not hold it any longer. ?Fuck that!? She hollered loudly. ?You want it to change you change it. I?m damn tired of holding my peace around you. You get your ass out there and tell them what you want-? ?Well right now I want you to do is shut the hell up.? Tinkerbell smirked at Peter and turned her back on him. "Bout time you gave an order," She walked to the corner and grabbed some ropes and traps, also a knife which she slipped into a holder that she threw over her shoulder. It hanged between her breasts which seemed to stand out in the black sleeveless shirt she wore. "Where the hell do you think you are going?" Peter asked obviously upset with Tinkerbell for getting fired up at her. "Food!" She threw the rope over her shoulder as well. " I want you to stay here and be ready to welcome the new people." "Ahhhh! And for a minute I thought you were concerned for my well being. She moved closer to Peter sautering in his face and licking her lips once more. "Besides I won't be gone too long." She stopped only inches away from his face and puckered her lips as if to kiss him but quickly turned to the side and climbing up a rope ladder, taking her to one of the upper exits in the treehouse. She disappeared into the the foliage but then stuck her head back into the opening over 20 feet above Peter. "Hurry up and get out there. They're waiting." With that she left Peter to stand in the tree house, obviously pissed at her. She cleared her head of his angered face and attitude. And began to find various fruits. She also checked various traps around the tree house seeing if any animals had been caught. But so far she was coming up empty. Damnit! She moved through the other branches and lowered herself to the ground searching those traps as well. Only small mammals were found in a few traps. Soon giving up she returned to the tree house, luckily still empty. She placed the food in the table and went to the large room where the lost punks usually gathered. She waited for the arrivals of the newcomers. Not moving a finger to clean the area up.
kalon
Michael shifted his backpack as he searched for his mother and siblings in front of Neverland. He had, of course, traveled alone to be there, as no one at his uncle and aunt's house would care if he were abducted or something of the sort. They would most likely be furious when they learned he stolen some money for the bus, an ice cream cone, and the red nail polish currently on his well-manicured nails, but he no longer cared. Michael no longer cared about being ignored or the strange looks people gave him, because he was going to see his mother and John and Wendy, and he was resolute to stay with them from now on. Many children were already filing into the park sans parents. He leaned over and tightened the laces of his boots, not particularly caring if any indecent exposure were to happen, moved one of his many belts a notch looser, and pulled at his choker. And then he saw them. Wendy, who could never be anything but beautiful and good in Michael's eyes, and John, whom Michael would always see as his mature, cherished older brother, were standing together next to their cooing mother. Michael broke into a run and wrapped his arms around Wendy upon reaching her, and then gave John an equally crushing hug. His heart felt like it would burst as they smiled at him. "Can... can we go into Neverland now?" asked the twelve-year-old ecstatically. "Yes, dear," his mother answered. Michael gazed at her, feeling for the first time in years like forgiving her for ignoring him. As long as he was given attention, he would forgive anything. They moved closer to the entrance and heard a voice over a loudpeaker. Only children were allowed within the fantastic theme park, absolutely no adults could step foot inside. Michael felt a wave of apprehension wash over him. What if this meant that they weren't going into Neverland? What if the day was called off, and his siblings went away? At first they were unsure of what to do, but their mother encouraged them. "Go on, enjoy the day," their mother insisted. "You three haven't spent time together in so long, and I'll be fine waiting for you. How many times will you get to go somewhere like this?" With her blessing the three made it inside the gates. After handing their tickets to pirate-themed attendants, they ventured inside Neverland, a haze like the one experienced when only half awake entered Michael's mind. Before his eyes, the world seemed to flicker, and the scenery dreamily transmogrified. He was conscious for it all, as was his brother, but beside them Wendy fell to the ground insensate. For all the knowledge in Michael's young mind, as extensive as it was, he could not figure out what had taken place as he spun and took in his surroundings. He had a fleeting wish to be curled in a closet with a knife, iodine, a flashlight, and his stolen copy of de Sade's work. The gates had gone, and instead of seeing a park with mechanical rides or stands or workers, he saw a forest. He looked to his big brother, who seemed to be similarly confused. John stood near Wendy with a worried expression. Wendy had not yet moved, and Michael could not hold back the sudden welling of tears in his eyes. "Wendy? Wendy? Please wake up!" begged Michael. With a scratchy voice she asked what had happened, and then, with her usual voice, where they were. John had an answer for the first but not the second. And, as luck would have--if anything about Neverland had luck--someone else had an answer. "You are in Neverland. Welcome," came a voice from behind them, who did not exactly sound welcoming. The one who had spoken was a huge, intimidating boy, unkempt and rough in physical appearance but with perfectly and surprisingly immaculate clothing. Several other children surrounded him, all of varied ages, appearances, and genders. Michael suddenly felt very stupid for not noticing the people before, but decided he had the right to be a little less practical and a little more shocked. The next one to speak was another boy, although he was very feminine, with pale skin, black hair, and a slight smile on his face. "You have to come and see Peter," he instructed them softly. Michael's lower lip quivered; he wanted to ask questions but was too nervous. All he manged was a small wave at both boys who had spoken. He, John, and Wendy were lead to the large oak covered in tree-houses. Each little structure was linked with rope bridges, and occasionally just single ropes. Upwards they climbed until they reached the main house, which they were informed was where Peter lived. A pale, fairly skinny boy with crimson-streaked black hair met them at the entrance. "I'm Peter," was the first thing from the boy's mouth.
Blayze
"I'm Peter," he said, introducing himself, "And I'm in charge around here. So what do you want?" The girl, fairly attractive in Pete's eyes, although most girls were, stepped forward, ahead of the two boys. "My name's Wendy Darling," she said, her voice deeper than Pete had expected, "And these are my brothers, John and Michael." "I didn't ask you who you were," replied Pete, circling the trio expectantly, sniffing the air around Wendy in particular, "I asked what you were doing here. What do you want?" "We're stuck here the same as you, asshole," said Wendy, her anger rising, "We just need a place to stay for a while, just long enough so we can figure out what we need to do." "What do you mean, "what you need to do"?" "How we can escape from this place," she said bluntly. Pete smiled and turned to the rest of the Punks. They all burst into laughter. "Escape?" he said, tears of laughter streaming from his eyes, "There's not escape from Neverland. If you're here, you're here for life. And, seeing as you never grow up in this place, life could be a very long time." "What do you mean, never grow up? You mean we stay kids here forever?" "Absolutely. And you'd think it would be fun, wouldn't you?" asked Pete, his previously amused face now turned dark, sinister, "But it's not. Not when you're a guy, stuck in the middle of puberty, forever. My voice can never break properly, my body hair will never finish growing. My goddamn balls will never drop! You don't know what it's like!" He sank to the ground, his head cradled in his hands. The mood swings were a bitch. Tinkerbell emerged from a door to one of the treehouses, the place where the Punks usually gathered for meals. She saw Pete on the floor and knelt down beside him, stroking his hair in a way that excited Pete, but he wasn't sure why. He knew Tink was off-limits, so he knew he couldn't be feeling things like that. "Who's the new girl?" Tink asked. "I'm Wendy Darling," she replied. "Why's your voice so deep?" asked Tinkerbell angrily, "You used to be a guy or something?" "Screw you, bitch. I don't give two shits about who you are, come out and beat down on the newcomers like that. Stuck up bitch," shouted Wendy angrily. "Holy shit," exclaimed Tink, "You did used to be a guy, didn't you? Your eyes tell it all." Wendy backed away as Tinkerbell got to her feet. A glinting knife-blade was just visible in Tinkerbell's hand, and she seemed perfectly capable of using it. "Stop it," came a voice from behind the two girls. Pete got to his feet, and stood between the two, "There's gonna be no fighting between the Punks. Not any more. Wendy's gonna stay with us, and so are her two brothers. Tiger Lily!" A slightly younger, pale boy, wearing next to nothing, stepped up. "Take John and Michael here to your tree-house. Show 'em a good time. Wendy, you can come with me. The rest of you, dinner will be all ready soon enough, I'll blow the horn when we're ready." Tiger Lily ushered the two boys away from their sister, and Pete showed Wendy up to his very own tree-house, the highest of all of them. He opened the door and let her in. "Sorry about the mess. Tink was supposed to clear it up, but she wussed out on me again," he said, turning and becoming confronted with an angry young girl with a can of pepper spray aimed at his face. "Whoah. What are you doin' there, Wendy?" he asked with a nervous smile. "Who the fuck do you think you are? Taking me to your tree-house? I'm not some kind of street-slut!" "I know different," said Pete, shocking the girl into lowering the pepper spray, "You see, I've always been able to see what people have been through. Let me guess...abusive father, drug-addicted mother? Shunted through foster homes, outcast because of your decision to be a girl rather than a boy. Forced onto the streets, dancing for money and doing other things you'd rather not talk about for more money. You've been in a few street fights, I can tell from the scars on your neck. You've been messed around, and you finally want someone to stop it all. Like every other girl your age, you just want that knight in shining armour to come and save you." Wendy gasped, and clamped her hand over her mouth. "How could you tell all that? We've only just met." "And yet, I feel like I've known you for years, Wendy Darling," Pete said softly, his hand grazing the side of her neck, his head leaning in to hers for one, long kiss... "Pete! What are you doing?!" exclaimed Tinkerbell at the door, barging through, "You can't be seen with that street hussy! You've only just met her, you'll ruin your reputation in the Punks." "You call me a street hussy? Have you seen the way you dress?" replied Wendy. "Whoah, just calm down," said Pete, holding his arms in the air to signal for silence, "We don't want any violence here. Unless you're both in your underwear." "Pete!" cried Tinkerbell. "I'm just joking, Tink. What was it you came here to tell me?" "Dinner's served," growled Tink, whirling around and slamming the door on the way out. "I guess we should go for dinner," said Pete, "You must be hungry. You can get to know some of the other Punks at dinner." The pair of them walked down the steps outside Pete's treehouse, down to where Tink had emerged earlier, the food-hall. Pete opened the door and showed Wendy into a room whose walls were stained with food. Fyxe
This so-called food-hall was nothing short of a wreck. Upon walking in, the stench immediately made Wendy wrinkle her nose. It reeked of mold and something that resembled road-kill. The walls were stained with food and flies buzzed about, feeding off of decay and crust. Wendy had seen her fair share of cheap, disgusting hotel rooms, but this had to top them all. Peter left her side upon entry, making his way over to the far end of the room. He took a seat at the head of a very long and broad table that just barely fit into the hall-like area. Wendy felt awkward, she didn't know where to go. She scanned the table for John and Michael. But all she saw in return was dozens and dozens of kids staring back at her. She spotted an open chair about halfway down the banquet table. She took it, just now realizing how absolutely starved she was. Wendy positioned herself by a smaller boy. He was clad in what appeared to be skunk skin. He continuously shot her shy looks under his shaggy black hair. He must have been about nine, but he was positively adorable. "H-hi!" He suddenly blurted. He mumbled for a moment under his breath, then spoke out again. "I-I'm... T-Tootles." He brushed his fringe out of his eyes, looking up at Wendy. But as soon as he had it up, it fell back down again limply. "I'm Wendy," She replied, watching him. He blushed. "T-t-that's... a n-nice n-name," He jerked and looked back at his plate, which was empty. For a moment, she thought he was just nervous, but she realized he had a natural stutter. "Have you seen my brothers around by chance?" She wanted to know where they were, if they were okay, when they'd be back. Call it maternal instinct if you will. "T-they m-m-must be with T-Tiger Lily. D-don't worry... t-they're in good hand w-with him. G-gonna miss s-supper soon, though." As soon as he said something, a bunch of early teenagers came out with platters full of things Wendy had hardly ever seen before. There was still blood on a lot of the meat. It was... repulsive. Like wild animals, all of the "Lost Punks" threw themselves at the food, taking whatever they could. They stole from each other's plates, hit, cussed, and a mini food fight started at the end over who got to sit by who. Tootles jerked again. He was starting to make Wendy nervous. At the site of all this, she wasn't so hungry anymore. But she helped Tootles get some berries and a slab of wild turkey. He chewed ravenously. After awhile he forced a few berries on Wendy, telling her if she didn't eat, she wouldn't survive in Neverland. A lot of the Lost Punks were too busy to notice her, but some took interest in the newcomer. Wendy was also aware of the evil glare Tinkerbell kept shooting at her from a few feet away. She sat by Peter of course. Peter. What kind of boy was he? Back there, in his tree-house... had been so strange. But it was the first time Wendy had truly been turned on in months, years, even. He had an aura about him, and holy shit, he was hot. Wendy let herself slip off in her thoughts for awhile. Geezus, the things that could have happened if Tinkerbell hadn't barged in. That bitch. After a few moments, Wendy realized Tootles had been struggling to talk to her. Feeling guilty about ignoring him, she gave him her full attention the rest of the dinner.
Hinata
Tinkerbell couldn't stand sitting at the table. Just wasn't her place but she held there for a little while and kept her gaze more son on this Wendy chick. Well now a chick Tinkerbell giggled to herself obviously overheard by Peter in spite of all the other Punks being around. "So Peter," Tinkerbell started eating a few overripe fruits that she found a few days back. " What do you think of this new bunch?" She looked his way and noticed him looking around the table alot probably wishing he was locked away again. She could only finish eating her fruit and wait for him to come back around. He looked around momentarily before understanding he had baeen addressed. "What was that Tinkerbell?" He said looking her way. She leaned in front of him her breast intentionally touching his hand as she reached for another piece of fruit her eyes on him the whole time as she talked. " I said that I was thinking about having a private brunch with you. A little fruit a little drink. All us... All alone." She continued to look directly at him but then after getting an orange she leaned up quickly and pushed back from the table. "But then again you have more pressing matters to get to and besides. You wouldn't be able to handle it." Peter glared at her momentarily as she giggled. " I'm kidding Peter." She placed a hand on his shoulder and began to move away but not before leaning beside him and whispering something in his ear."I'ts good to have you in here with us. You need to do this more often." Peter was about to interrupt her statement but she interjected before he could. "Besides if this Wendy chick helps to do that. I got no qualms with her or her bros. But you need to show them the ropes quick." He looked Tinkerbell squarely in the eyes. "Or I could order you to do it." " You have to find me first." With that Tinkerbell left the dining hall saying goodbye and giving Miss Wendy a few good bye glares for effect. Wendy met Tinkerbell back match for match. Allowing Tinkerbell to smirk for a moment before turning her back to the whole group and leaving the room. As she found her room she went in and began to tinker a bit more on traps and such and even began to eat her orange. She only wondered what kind of mischief she could set up for the newcomers. Gavin
Sorry Phil, I've been meaning to post here for a while but couldn't get anything that sounded right. I know it's been a while since the last post, but hopefully this is still going. Brother had left the other lost punks within a few moments of greeting the Darlings, moving back into the thick undergrowth that prevented Hook from being able to located the punk's homes. He was hungry now, but in no mood for the slop that the rest of them would eat, he needed meat, he needed to kill something with his bare hands and consume it's flesh to strengthen him. He wiped a layer of sweat from his forehead, mixed in with it was dried blood he had not cleaned that morning, more and more often now he was missing blood stains, he needed someone to help him clean in the morning but didn't want to ask any of the sinners he was surrounded by. He heard a several twigs break in the bushes near him, his nostrils flared, taking in the scent, a deer, he begged God's forgiveness for what he was about to do, but he required proper sustenance to do His work. Crashing over the bush, the two meter tall goliath hurtled onto the frightened creature. It was larger than he had expected, an adolescent stag, good he thought, there would be plenty of meat on this creature. He wrapped his large muscular forearm around the creature's throat, larger than the deer by a good degree, it struggled futilely . "Shush now young deer, your pain will end soon and you will be free from this mortal coil." Barely whispered, Brother tightened his grip against the stag's windpipe, eventually it stopped resisting and finally fell motionless beneath the lost punk. Raising himself up, a single tear fell from his eye, he did not enjoy killing helpless creatures, but he needed food and this young deer would provide it, in exchange Brother had given the creature up to the Lord to do with as He pleased. Wiping himself down, Brother slung the stag over his back and moved back to the punk's camp, it has only been a few minutes since he'd left the newcomers, still plenty of time to skin the creature and cook it. The camp was empty, everyone was inside in the food hall, everyone but Tiger Lily who stood staring at Brother has he walked with the dead animal over his immense shoulders. Tiger Lily had always looked like a young woman to Brother more than he had ever looked like a man. "There's food inside you know Brother, you didn't need to go off and kill something to eat." The comment was not derisive, simply fact stated, Tiger Lily rarely insulted other people and like all the other Lost Punks was careful about insulting the largest and strongest member of their group. Brother nodded back, a greeting rather than an acceptance of what the fourteen year old had said. His own cabin was at the edge of the camp, he'd skin the animal and then cook it for a while before giving it to Peter, there was a lot that did not sit well with Brother about their leader, but he was the eldest and their leader so he was due his respect. Burying the decapitated head of the deer, along with the skin and lower legs, Brother moved off towards the food hall. As he opened the door, Brother could hear the conversations held by the Lost Punks inside, nobody paid him any attention, it was not the first time he'd brought in a skinned animal to be cooked, and it would not be the last time. Only one of the newcomers gasped in surprise to see the immense Russian carrying in a dead creature in his arms, Peter stood up as to greet Brother and avoid potential bloodshed. "Ah Brother I was wondering when you'd get here, I see you brought more food, thank you. Your seat is here, once you're finished, please sit and we can talk." Peter was well aware how quickly Brother could change from a quiet giant into a fierce colossus, and he knew the importance of being polite. Setting the deer up on the spit, Brother took his seat near Peter, drinking some water he placed his hands together and waited for the others to do the same. This was a known procedure, when Brother prayed, everyone prayed, those who didn't paid the price. After a minute or so, Brother unlocked his fingers and noticed the same newcomer who had gasped as he walked into was looking at him now. "You wish to speak to me ?" Having learned English from an Irish priest in Russia, Brother spoke English with an Irish lilt to it, leading many to assume he was Irish as opposed to Russian. Truth was, Brother didn't consider himself Russian, he was a child a God and that superseded any nationalistic title. John Darling opened his lips to reply to the far larger boy.
cancer
Tiger Lily had left the two boys in the Food Hall as he went outside into the cool, evening air. He hated being inside; nature was his best friend, if not his only friend. He walked carelessly down the familiar path towards the Merfolk Bay, but stopped when he noticed the sound of a creature being mutilated. He wasn't shocked, but the sudden noise startled him. He was relieved to see Brother emerge from the brush of the forest with a deer's body in hand. "There's food inside you know Brother, you didn't need to go off and kill something to eat," said Tiger Lily. Brother simply grinned and buried the creature's remains before going into the Food Hall. Tiger Lily didn't move until the surroundings were once again peaceful. When he arrived at the Merfolk Bay, he was disappointed to see that no merfolk were present. They were vicious creatures, but he enjoyed their company. With them he could share secrets and stories that he would reveal to no other being. They listened well, though their responses were odd. Tiger Lily climbed to the top of the rocky wall that overlooked the sea and lay down. He gazed at the moon, which was full, wondering silently who else in the world might be staring at it at the same time. It was the only way he could feel like part of the Earth. Normally he felt imprisoned everlastingly. The heavens made him feel free in a way. He enjoyed this. "Tiger Lily." The voice came from the bay. He sat up and looked down to see a single mermaid staring up at him. She was different than any he had seen before. Her face was beautiful, whereas the others were fishlike and gruesome. Her skin was smooth, not scaly, and her hair was soft and flowing. Her green eyes held his gaze like the stars. ?Come down here, Tiger Lily.? He was afraid to move, afraid it was a trap, but he couldn?t help himself. He climbed down the rocks slowly, feeling high and weightless. His gaze never left her eyes. She was smiling seductively, and he was now only ten feet from her reach. Before he reached her, though, someone yelled, ?Tiger Lily, stop!? He turned around to see Peter standing there, his hands on his bony hips. ?Peter. Wha-what is it?? He looked back to see that the mermaid was gone. ?Damn.? ?Tiger Lily, you were about to walk right off the edge of the rock into the Bay. What were you looking at?? ?The mermaid. Didn?t you see her?? Peter looked at him as if he were crazy. ?What mermaid? Are you okay?? Tiger Lily didn?t argue. He was sure of what he saw. There was no way he was hallucinating. He waved it away anyhow and walked past Peter towards the Treehouse. ?Nevermind it.?
