ChibiHorsewoman
Yeah fun thread huh? I know that you can go without food for about seven days and water for three so don't give me those kind of obvious answers. I want the interesting funny ones that say that without this my life would be unbearable and give me a reason why. Ok yeah to be fair it can be more than one thing, but I want to know why. For me it would be music. Life is simply not bearable when there is no music, even if it's my tone deaf self singing in the shower or the car or doing laundry I have to have music I live for music even though I can't carry rhythm at all. So what about the rest of you?
Lady Knight
I could not as funny as this sounds to most people when I tell them I could not live without my horse. Now if your not a horse person no offence you wouldn't really understand. My horse is my best friend in the world. Thats right. She is. There's a famous horse quote that says "In riding horses we borrow freedom." That quote is true. After trying to help all my friends with their problems in their life then trying to figure out my own, making sure my grades are up and keeping up with all the co-curriculars that I do I need time to relax. I get to do that when I go up to the barn. I can hop on my mare bareback and go for a nice hack or I can throw the saddle on her and do lateral movements with her then go for a good gallop. She'd do anything for me. Yes she can be a little b*tch at times but in the end she'd never do anything to harm me. I guess to sum this up there is nothing that compares with galloping on a horse through the fields after a hard week at school to forget all your problems and everything... I know I sound crazy but take horseback riding lessons for a year or so and maybe just maybe you'll be able to understand me.
Farto the Magic
"In riding horses we borrow freedom." That quote is true.
In riding horse, I hurt my butt. I don't think I could live without my miniatures. Its stupid, I know. I got Star Wars and Dungeons and Dragons. I just look at them, screw around with them, have them battle (using the rules). They just keep the little kid part of my mind busy. When I was younger, I used to have lots of action figures, which I would play with in the sandbox. These are exactly like the bigger ones, except not posable...and smaller. So I get to indulge the kid in me. Now if you'll excuse me, Jango has some *****-kicking to do...
Guest Heero yuy
Definitely can't live without my acousic guitar, I have to be able to play it. If I don't I get really crabby. I love music, and I've been envolved in it for a while, so I guess, it's in my nature to utilize it. And anothering thing, girls...can't live without girls. I have no clue how to talk to them, but I enjoy their company, and they make things a lot better, especially the optimistic ones.
MomochiZabuza
I really couldn't live without the internet. I mean, how did they get anything done back then without it? I always talk to people and make plans on AIM and myspace, without it, how am I supposed to know who's going where and when? Well yeah there's the phone but my parents think I use "too many minutes" and refuse to get me cricket service which is free minutes and everything for only 20$ a month. Pretyt nifty huh? Plus, w/out the internet, we couldn't even be here talking about this right now.
2010DigitalBoy
I've gone 6 months without friends before... 2 months without internet... and 8 months without cable... even 4 months without video games... to sum it up, I've seen hell. But the one thing I couldn't live without... my brother. I hate having to deal with him, but I don't know what I'd do if he was gone. I've been in a state of perpetual sadness before, but without him Id vegetabilize.

Sara
On a different note, I really like fresh fruit. Like cherries. And kiwi. And plums. And good apples. With no fresh fruit, I would be very, very sad.

Ezekiel
I couldn't live without my mum or Trevor. I think if I lost everything else but I was left with them, I'd be content. I love them both deeply and I'd have a mental breakdown if either left me. On a more fun note: My stuffed dog Peppermint. I've had her since I was born and she's never once left my side. I'm not ashamed of sleeping with a stuffed animal and I don't see why people should be, it's just for comfort. She's been everywhere with me and mum can tell when I feel sad or sick because I'll take Peppermint around the house. She's been around the world, on helicopter rides, in cable cars...and is probably infested with germs, but I adore her. I'd be pretty sad if I lost my imagination, too. I'd be so depressed if I couldn't escape to wacky worlds when I have my alone time.
pooperson
Music. It's pretty much my life. Listening, playing/singing, writing... whatever. I'd die without it.
Albert Flasher
This one is tough. I mean, I'd be perfectly content without friends or people or what-have-you - I'm not, honestly, too fond of other people these days. Love? Who needs it - I've seen what women do to men, and it ain't pretty. Music? Sure, I'd miss it, but I can live without it. I guess that pretty much narrows it down to 3 things: Books. Be it a magical fantasy adventure or an epic space opera, a facisinating historical text or a piece on modern politics, I pretty much exist to read books. It's helped me with my understanding of english and just generally passes the time. Sci-fi are my favourite, for sure. The computer. Nothing in my world would be the same without my computer. I spend quite literally all of my time on it, doing whatever. The internet is especially important - even if I am relegated to 56k, it's essentially the only thing that keeps me sane. I can talk to random people, play video games with other people, I can pirate movies, and probably most important, I can download a mod of SWKOTOR where everyone is a naked female blue Twi'lek who's only dialoge option is written in Turkish. And lastly... hockey. Sue me, I'm Canadian - and damned if I love hockey. Nothing beats gathering around the TV with a ginger beer and a half-eaten meat lovers pizza watching les glorixious. I'm sorry, there's simply nothing.
James
The only thing I couldn't live without would be my family. Even now living away from them, I'm in constant contact. I just feel that my life would be pretty pointless unless I were able to share it with them. Having them makes everything else bearable; it doesn't matter what I live without in terms of material stuff, as long as I have them. :catgirl:
Andy
Hmmm, well first off I couldn't live without my mom who's always been there for me and second I couldnt live without anime and manga because if I didnt have them I wouldnt have anything fun to obsess over. Guest Misty&Togepi
Well, I was going to say Pokemon but I could NOT live without my friends or family. My friends just make me laugh and make me so happy...who could live without laughter? And my family will always love me unconditionally...even though I can be a pain in the butt! :D
Tekkaman
I just came to this conclusion today, but I simply, simply couldn't live without my wife. She is my world though we argue sometimes. Her and my daughter, Keyara, I couldn't live without. A distant second would be Otaku Boards! Without OB on the net, My wife would argue with me all the time! OB is an escape, no doubt about it! :D
boothten
Umm, oxygen. It's saved my life plenty of times. Now that I'm done being a complete lame-oh, I'd have to answer music. It calms me down when I'm feeling rowdy, hypes my up when I'm energetic, and it keeps me sane. On a few different levels. Oddly enough, it's almost like my oxygen? That and my family. They keep me in place, they support me, bad or good, they love me, and all the like. I'd hate to think of a day when I don't have a single one of them in close contact, but it'll happen. As long as I have some type of contact with them, I'm fine. Oooh, and friends. They equal life for me. My best friends are some of the most important people to me, aside from family of course. They're supportive, and I love them dearly for everything they've done. I can talk to them about anything, it's amazing. Especially when those conversations are over an hour long. Fantastic, simply put. =]
Sonic Boom
I know it's going to sound a little cheesy, but I'm going to say my fiance. She's my best friend and I don't know what I'd do without her. Sometimes it blows my mind to think that there was a time she wasn't in my life.

Sadly, I don't have a girlfriend right now. But I will soon. My friend is having a pool party tommorow, and I'm going to a house party on Friday. Plus I'm going to the mall Tuesday and on Wednesday I'm going to Paramount Canada's Wonderland (a big theme park). Without girls, there would be no point in living. Literally. ChibiHorsewoman
Well I would love to say that I could not live without horses, but unfortunately I haven't ridden since November. I love my daughter more than anything, but at times I have to learn how not to live with her because Abby has to go see her daddy every so often. I can't live without books. I love reading whether I'm reading a book to my daughter or reading one myself I have to have books. I'm as obsessed with books as I am with CDs/ Music. Give me music and books and I'm happy. I also like to write, but I have writer's block at times so I can't finish what I started.. or is that ADD? But another thing I can't live without is humor. And talking... but ya'll already knew that.
