I'm honestly beginning the research of Kingdom Hearts after I beat KH 1 and KH 2. It takes up the majority of my time beside trying to post on OB (Otaku Boards). Right now i'm in the process of figuring out if KH (Both I and II) is better than FFVII or vice versa. I'm kinda torn, though.

*It should be noted that i'm not trying to create a new string that takes away from the original question asked in this post. However, if anyone gives comments to my question in this string, let it be known that i'm not trying to take taperson's glory by asking something new. I was just answering his question.*

I LOVE hanging out with friends. I love just being stupid with friends, cause they'll go along with it, lol. I love listening to music, and taking photography. Especially night photos, those have me hooked right now. I live in San Diego. Yeah, um, San Diego's the most beautiful city to take night photos at. It's amazing, try it sometime.

I like going to shows as well. SOMA isn't too far away, so I go often whenever a good band plays.

Like you taperson, I'm also very active with my church. I'm one of the youth leaders of my youth group, so I'm often rather busy with that.

does it count if I say cosplay?
though I haven't done it that much
I just talk about it alot and plan them with my friend who makes costumes.
Other than that though, I play soccer, about 6 hours a week, give or take, for a club (so, super competitively. yay me.), I draw on the odd day, and I am now looking for a job. Because I am far too poor to do anything cool right now o_o;

I'm active in my local Boys and Girls Club since I'm a staff member there now, so that takes up most of my time. But besides that i like to hang out with friends at the mall or at one another's house, play a lot of Dance Dance Revolution and In The Groove, go rollerblading when I have the chance or mainly work out. I work full-time at the club so these are the little things I have spare time to do besides being on the net.

Plus, I have 2 jobs. One at a day camp and one at a Party superstore... whoo hoo!

Hm, lesse. Anime is defintly one of my major interests but i do have quite a few others.

I'm big into writing, hoping to turn it into some kind of career as long as it's less lack-luster then the majority of writing jobs out there. I'd call myself a writer without any professional endorsements, but most of the stuff i write cept for the articles i send to theotaku are mainly for my self enjoyment. I write fiction stories, fanfics, articles, pretty much anything i find interesting. I also specialize in persuasive writing.

If i had to do anything else as a profession it would be psychology based. I've been interested in psychology and the way the human mind works and what it's capable of since high school. I've got an innate knack for it and have taken many courses already, i definitely wouldn't be who i am today without any of it.

I'm also into RPGs, which may be considered part of being an otaku as well, but it's worth mentioning outside of that possible context. I'm a fan of all types, traditoinal, SRPG, hack and slash, etc. I'm a dedicated fan of anything square-enix puts out (though i personally liked things better before the merger) and pretty much anything Atlus and Working Designs endorsed (back when WD was still in business). I played EQ for 2 years but been off the MMO scene since i stopped.

I'm into wrestling, and i'm not talking about WWE or the whole "sports entertainment" deal. Up in the northeast theres a very well known indy called Ring of Honor which offers the best of all aspects of wrestling any true fan needs. The athletes of the present and the future. Me and my friends go to shows every few months, we got one coming up on august 4th.

I like baseball, playing and watching though i prefer to be at a live game if i'm watching it. Favorite team is the N.Y Mets, and it's about damn time they started kicking ***.

Obviously into music and all the normal stuff that everyone pretty much mentions, hanging out with friends, etc etc. Also pretty much into anything that interests me about asian culture, i'm part chinese and i've acquired a liking to japanese culture (anime of course included). Of course i like women, but its unfortunate that I haven't been too succesful in that category as of late. Thats bout it for the noteworthy stuff...

Yes, well. I'm pretty active in my church, but I spend most of my time doing Martial Arts. I trained for one year in Tai Kwan Do, six months of informal training in Kung Fu. But it has mainly been Karate Do and Kendo for the last 6 or so years. I currently hold the rank of Sho Dan Ho(1st degree Black belt) in Karate Do, and my Kendo rank is even worthy of notice!

Well I don't have a lot of time really to even post or watch that much anime anymore. However when I'm not watching anime or posting. I'm actually working in a hobby store for card gaming products called Neutral Ground. I basically judge official UDE tournaments for Yugioh and what not. So when I'm not judging or working, I spend the other portion of free time playing in yugioh tournaments professionally. Other then that I also write in my spare time and go to college on an erratic schedule. Yeah rather boring life.....go me.... v.v

I write most of the time. I am currently writing for a pilot that I want to show in The New York Television Festival. Most of the time I am scouting for ideas for new episodes. Currently there are four of us in my "studio", if you will. Two writers, a designer, and a voice actor/caster. We're not strapped for talent, we just need to get back to school so that we can get more people for roles. High School is such a double-edged sword.

Anyway, if any of your hobbies are of the animating variety, we could really use an animator to work with.

And I play a lot of Guitar Hero.

Oh, hell yes.

I'm currently taking full advantage of summer time laziness. So, I tend to write plenty of fan fictions (mainly sticking to my specialty, which is slash) and I've been doing a lot of research of what new man love manga I'd like to purchase.

Other than that, I play whatever games I am obsessed with at the time. Right now that would be Guitar Hero and Jak X: Combat Racing. I WOULD be playing The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion, if my step father would so kindly remember to buy me a new graphics card. Which, so far, isn't happening. And that truly makes me sad.

I also read a lot (lesbian and vampire novels being preferred), which I do a lot in the summer, since I finally have time to do it. Also, I listen to a lot of music. But who doesn't?

Sometimes I like to talk my sister's boyfriend into driving the three of us out to Hy-Vee at three in the morning for a "cookie run." Which is very fun, considering hardly anyone is working in the store at that time. So, we just sit around the magazine section, reading Shonen Jump and munching on our cookies.

during my time away from school and the computer

I do the following:

- sit on the couch and think
- try to make up for the lost hours of sleep, with sleep
- play my bass gutiar or my acoustic<- which I think is better than playing gutiar hero
- play alot of need for speed most wanted
- take a walk in the park
- lie on my back in the grass, stare into the sky and think
- hang out with my friends

I saw a couple of you guys really like guitar hero, which is cool. Though i've never played the game i'd really love to. I'd like to imagine i'd be a natural at it since i love to play my guitar so much. That's one of the things i spend a lot of time with, my guitar. I'm actually looking into buying a new one. I've had the one i have now for a couple years and am ready to move on to bigger and better things.

I always love a good game of Halo 2 on xbox live. If anybody ever wants to play me, my gamertag is Attimus331. Though if you do decide to challenge me then i'd appreciate it if you let me know on otaku first since my brother plays it a lot more than i do. Oh, and don't expect to beat me, for i am a halo god! ::cackles::

Of course i love anime and all of those great things. And i like to hang out with friends and whatnot....

Oh, i also love getting in debates over politics or philosophy. Really, anything i have an opinion in i'd love to meet somebody with the opposite opinion.

And i like math. ^L^

Later.

Okay, I'll bite; this is a painfully obvious exhibitionism thread, but what the heck.

Unsurprisingly, I really am as boring and insular a person as I come across here. Most of my time not spent involving anime or work is spent reading, you guessed it, academic books. Right now I'm reading Spinoza's Ethics (which is making me tear my hair out, because it's so wonderful but at the same time I can never tell if he's really saying what I think he is) and Heidegger's Nietzsche books (I've been on a H kick for the past, oh, six months), I'm rereading Martin Luther's Freedom of a Christian in preparation for an article I'm writing (don't ask), and I'm also trying to plow through this crappy book on the hadiths that I'm really not enjoying at all. I write a little too, although not as much as I'd like to. There's a park about a half-mile from my home that's perfect for the reading/writing thing, which I try to visit as often as I can.

I'm also currently trying to kick my Oblivion addiction the only way I can: by trying to finish the stupid thing already so I can get to other things.

Other than that, I'm still trying to get plans together for my impending move to Chicago for school. And there's also the music thing, which I won't get started on.

Friends? Uh, I guess I have a few. Why do you ask?

Hm.

Well, I suppose I have several hobbies. My biggest passion right now is the martial arts. Trying to perfect my technique for my upcoming black belt test in Tae Kwon Do. I love the art, sport, and everything about martial arts. I plan on learning as much as a can in all forms of martial arts available as time goes on and it is an eternal love I've had since I was a child. I started traditional classes three years ago at the age of thirteen. Since then, I've searched my hardest to find additional teachers. I hope to some day teach. (check my sig links to see me, haha).

Another passion of mine is drawing and writing. I do both as often as I can, though most of my writing is done here at the OBs at the Arena or my recent stint in the Anthology (again, check my sig). I also have much of my art work posted in the Art Studio, if your interested. I practice and try to improve as often as I can, though I have never had a teacher in either writing or drawing, I feel I'm doing pretty well on my own. Heh.

Oh, and movies. I love a good movie. My family has a LEGENDARY DVD collection of well over 300 movies. Haha. Star Wars Complete Saga, Kill Bill Vol. 1&2, Boondock Saints, and Pulp Fiction just to name a few favorites.

Apart from those, I enjoy video games, comic books, reading up on history and such, watching [adult swim], fighting (sparring matches and what not), playing a little basket ball (pick up games with the varsity team keeps me in shape, heh), listening to good music, dancing (I do a little break dancing and hip hop for fun, no lessons, all self taught with my buddies, haha), and just hanging around with my friends.

I love hanging out with my homies and friends. We're a rag tag group so to speak, and I have connections in a few other groups that put me in all sorts of strange situations (alá on a stage dancing...). We generally just hang out, go walking/driving around town, play video games, go swimming, do/talk music, go to concerts (a few of my friends have band/rap groups), and just generally buddy-buddy stuff.

Me and my friend Adam are currently working our way through Tales of Symphonia (the Gamecube game) on multiplayer. My other friend, Corbin, is my general wing man, and we are currently on a quest for female companionship after both of us just left long standing relationships. Heh. My homie Matt and his little clique get me into those dance things and talk rap music with me often. My buddy DeQuan and me just generally chill and hang out. Heh.

It's summer vacation in America right now, so I got alot of free time as of late. Heh.

Aye. Outside the Otaku, that's the life of The Boss.

(Now if you'll excuse me, Eureka 7 is one. Haha.)

I like reading, but I've gotten out of the habit.

What do I do? Well what I?ve always done. Read a lot. ^_^ And when I?m not reading I?m either playing with my friends, doing the chores that I?m expected to do or attending school if it?s that time of year. Which brings up the other thing I do when I?m not in school and that?s to go on hikes in the mountains with my mom and my dog. I spend a lot of time outside in the summer, as I like to take a blanket, put it on the grass and then get comfortable with my dog and read in the shade. Oh and I usually play video games a couple times a week.

Currently, I work. In retail. Nothing really exciting haha.
Outside of work, I like to hang out with friends, play video games, watch tv, play cards, make music videos. When I have the time, I like to read.

I also smoke alot of pot. Thankfully I'm not one of those stereotypical stoners (okay, maybe sometimes), I usually save it for the later hours of the evening and for someone who's been smoking the stuff for 4 years, it doesn't take me much to get lifted!

I like watching movies as well, I usually save that for the weekends.

Lately my life hasn't been exciting because I've been working full time and I don't have much energy left over for other things.
I spend alot of time on the phone with my boyfriend, because we have a long distance relationship as well. It sucks, but you gotta do what you gotta do!

Come fall I'll be back to working part-time, and then it will just be school, work, friends, and me-time.

Lets see, when I?m not working (which is right now) I work on various projects around the house, help with cleaning and fixing the meals. Then I spend a certain amount of time on my own projects like some scrap booking I?m currently working on, a database that I?m finishing putting together and then once I?ve done that I spend time with my friends, do a little reading, play video games and often make anime wallpapers as by then my brain is too fried from other things to think clearly enough to do more complex stuff. Like finish some articles I started for theOtaku a while back.

Fortunately things are slowing down since I get up and from the moment I am awake, I have stuff I?m working on all day and I?m starting to feel a little burned out. All those projects seemed like a good idea until they started taking up a huge chunk of my free time. So I?ll be glad when I finish up a few things within the next week. Though I?ll probably just replace them with finishing those articles I started and just end up back where I was to begin with, too busy. ^_~

The thing I always look forward to the most is that my family pretty much always goes on vacation every year (well before my father got really sick and nearly died from cancer) But if things keep going the way they are, we will be taking a short vacation near the end of September up in Yellowstone National Park. I may have been there many, many times, but there?s always new things to check out. So that?s my favorite thing to do outside of the Otaku stuff I also enjoy.
