Panache
When im not here on the o boards i ma 90 year old female porn star. Ok not really. Im a full time student who puts in half *** effort. Really all I do in school is listen to my ipod during class talk to my freinds and read manga. Yet somehow I still do better than 60% of my class. Panda
Wait a minute...you mean there is a world outside the OtakuBoards?! Besides spending time on theOtaku.com network I enjoy attending anime conventions. Despite being completely drained of money I have plans to attend Kumoricon in Portland, Oregon at the beginning of September. Unfortunately the plan to attend Anime Evolution in Vancouver, BC are out since it's next month and I will definitely not have enough money saved up by then let alone have enough to attend both cons. Bummer. If only those guys from Publisher's Clearing House would just bring me my giant million dollar check I wouldn't have to worry about money!! When my health allows it I usually can be found working on some sort of crafting project. I have a blanket I have been crocheting on and off for a while now and there is my ever growing list of cosplay costumes and props. Currently up on the list of costumes is an Ururu costume from Bleach. Since my hubby is the perfect Tessai I figured I should match him with an Ururu costume at least one day of a convention. After that I am making him an Armstrong (FMA) costume and my next one will be finishing my Katamari Damacy "Ichigo" costume. The head is about 1/2 way complete! Besides crafting and sewing I enjoy spending time reading manga, hanging out with my friends, spending time with my hubby playing video games and playing with my pets. Oh, and there is that thing called work. Since I am a freelance writer I just sort of cram it in when I have time. Speaking of which I have an anime screener from ADV waiting for me. I should go work on that.... :animesigh
Sangome
I love talking to my friends over the computer, but much of them are otaku's, so I don't know if that counts. ^^; I also play alot of video games, which could also pertain to an otaku lifestyle...then again, people can play video games and not have an interest in anime. Lately I've been playing Kingdom Hearts II, catching up on it... Or rather, mercilessly killing the controller, seeing as how I can't get past Demyx in Hollow Bastion. =_= I also write. Lately I've been writing a fanfiction (though it honestly feels more like an original story to me x_x), and I also write articles over on theOtaku. I also draw alot, too. And that's about it. ^^
Andy
Well in my free time I will play video games, preferrably Halo, Halo 2, and Halo 3 when it comes out :animesmil I also watch a good bit of t.v., preferrably Futurama, Family Guy, Robot Chicken, Fresh Prince of Belair, Sanford and Son, King of the Hill, and there are several others but I can't think of them right now. I also enjoy playing basketball and football. And now you know what I do in my spare time :animesmil
2010DigitalBoy
Besides anime/manga/other forums? Do TV and video games count? Seriously, unless my parents take us somewhere, my brothers and I never leave the house. We just stay up all night and watch TV/play video games/go online. We do fun stuff, too. Just random little things conducted by our overwhelming imaginations. That's gunna change though. Hopefully we'll all make some friends this school year. Ai.sAkUrA.chan
My life outside the OB... I usually go out with my friends, mainly to an arcade, and once in a while to the skatepark. We'll have sleepovers (girls are never to old for sleepovers, lol), act stupid, go ice-skating, to the mall...basically, whenever one of us goes out, we all do,so it's pretty fun. But when i'm stuck home, i write poems, sometimes stories, but I'll get bored easily, so i stick to writing poems. I also read alot, no, not just manga, REAL books. I also draw, once in a while bust out a move, or play video games, especially Guitar Hero, DDR, and Super Smash Bros. Melee (i luvs Pikachu, lol). Or when I'm REALLY bored, I'll pay my sister a small visit, but I'd have to be VERY bored to do that, lol. And that's basically it ^^...
triblackfire
My other interests that I have are, at the most, hangin' with my friends. I'm known as the spaz attic monkey from the group. I love to write poetry, which are mostly dark, and dance to music, when nobody is around! :D I like to sing and hang with my bf, but since I live in Kodiak, Alaska, there's like nothing to do around here but the same old things, like hang at the park or go bowling (staying home is what we all do at times:p ). I'm looking for a job as well but there isn't many openings available. I'm also training in conflict mediating for my high school club, and practicing sports. Yeah, nothing much.:animesigh
Sho Ayori
I mostly spend a lot of time with my friends, although I prefer to go to the library and read. It sounds boring I know but that's the kind of person I am. I sometimes end up hanging with my younger sister's friends, who are around 12 or 13. Me being 18 it's not the funnest of times but it doesn't make a great deal of difference. I most play a lot of games indoors but I'd like to get out when the weather's fine. musical_kitten
Outside of Otaku? Sadly there is such a thing. I love using the computer. My mother hates it and says that I should only be on for a half an hour, but I usually end up cheating and going for longer. But then again she's sleeping... I also play four instruments, so I'm constantly practicing... We are hanging sheetrock in our garage... Not that I enjoy that, mind you... Um, I draw when I feel like it, write when I don't (I'm starting notebook #4 for one story and I've got others to do when I'm done with my current one.) I like writing. And drawing. And my pets. They're cute. My family are pet addicts. We'd die without animals. So that's pretty much my life outside of Otaku, until school starts....
Horendithas
For the longest time my extra time was spent putting in more volunteer hours at the Women?s Crisis Center and the endless run of homework. Now that I?ve met the required hours for school my volunteer time has gone down to about ten hours a week and with only two classes this summer I?ve had a lot of free time. Though it didn?t take long to fill it up with playing video games, reading books for fun instead of for a class, spending time with my friends and lately I?ve been helping a number of the neighbors with doing yard work. Many of them are getting on in years and stuff like mowing the lawn, weeding and putting the trash out is difficult for them to do. Though the side benefit of that is my landlady gives me a deal on the rent since it would cost a lot more to have someone come and do everything for her. I?m kind of sorry that the summer is half way over as this fall will mark my senior year in college and I?m going to miss having enough free time to pretty much do what ever I want. I?ll be happy to work towards graduating, it?s just been nice to not be so busy for a change.

Funny Girl
When I'm not on Okatu I'm either at my Youth or doing sports. I'm always athletic and I love the feeling of running around and having fun. I also go shopping a lot and I love to look at cute clothes and other cool things that a normal teenage girl would.
Azarath
Well when i'm not being an otaku I'm usually practicing for this orchestra I'm in.I play a couple of instruments.Besides that I just watch tv,or do something with my friends. Guest Battousai9002
When I'm not being an otaku...? Well I spend most of my time at school, and that's pretty much where my friends and I hang out, considering we all still have 3-4 years before we can drive ^_^ I stay on my computer a lot in my free time. I'm really into martial arts, and will (hopefully) be a blackbelt in kenpo/kempo karate this Decmeber! I love writing and drawing (others say I'm good but I completely disagree), and, surprisingly, anything that has to do with psychology I find really interesting (you can guess what I want to be when I grow up...) Sara
Lately I've been collecting buttons (the kind you use to close the front of a shirt). It is quite the exciting pursuit! I've already been to Hobby Lobby, Wal*Mart, and the local thrift shop. Today I think I shall go to Michael's. People keep wanting to know what I'm going to do with the buttons, and I don't know. Right now I am just collecting them.
aoi_hikari
When I'm not on otaku, I'm usually reading various fantasy novels. I just got Tales From Earthsea at the library today.I also play clairinet in band, so I practice that... and draw random stuff. Lately I play Brain Age a lot, I'm always playing sudoku on my DS. Other games I play a lot are Trauma Centre: Under The Knife, New Super Mario Brothers, Mario Kart DS, Yoshi Touch 'n Go and AC:WW. I usually listen to J-Pop and other random CD's I have when I play my DS. When I'm not doing the things mentioned above, I am on fanfiction.net, reading fanfics. Soccer will be starting up where I live, so I'll be playing that and going to practices. But for the most part, I'm on the internet....Such is my life outside of otaku when I'm not doing anime realated stuff...
Kira93
What do all ya'll do when you're not on Otaku? I mean, besides anime/manga/other forums?
*thinks a minute* Um....my life is pretty much being online...at least during summer it is. Skeith92
Well, I listen to music a lot and play bass as much as I can. Umm, I play bass in a band and am trying to form a new band. I also like hanging out with friends a lot. I also like reading rock magazines. I also go to school and all that normal stuff.
Gavin
Interesting, most interesting. Like most other people here, my life outside of OB is rather mundane made up of some pointless summer housework and a few hobbies. Mostly this is made up of addictions to several sci-fi shows, going to the movies, playing golf and generally abusing my digits by rigorous amounts of video gaming. Add to that the internet and listening to music and you've got my life for the moment, well that and 90 minutes in the gym every night, but that's training rather than fun.
mangamaniack21
What do all ya'll do when you're not on Otaku? I mean, besides anime/manga/other forums? Like, what are your hobbies? Mine include music of all sorts, writing, and photography. Plus, I'm really active in my church.
I guess I like to play my acoustic guitar, write lots of fanfiction stories, read books, go to church, and just go to school. I don't have time for some of these hobbies sometimes, but I will eventually get to do most of then. Also, somtimes I find myself trying to draw somting from real life, but it usually doesn't turn out that good. I'm really busy during the school year and I usaually join clubs such as reading olyimpics or bowling. I try to go to guitar lessons when I'm not to busy :animesigh . Guest cjaeyun
Well... for the next two days I have my swimming lessons to finish (It's just... too tiring of a thing to do in summer vacations). I play CoD2, Gunz, Guild Wars, Starcraft whenever possible... my parents seem to think that limiting my time on the computer is a good idea. (...?) Yeah. I go to school, practise playing the flute... All in all, a pretty normal life, don't ya think? Anyway, congrads to me for my first post!!! :animesmil
Warlock
My hobby is studying. :( Well, apart from that I play some tennis, pay closs attention to cricket, as well as Australian football. I like cycling, though I haven't really done any for ages. I'm also a big fan of computer and video games, though I haven't played them lately as much as I used to. I'll have to rectify that. Oh, and I surf the web. A lot. That's pretty much my uninteresting life in a nutshell.
Shy
My main hobby is probably the Internet, sadly, and my time/attention is split over several sites. More than anything I'm a lurker, since I can't seem to commit to writing much anymore. OB is obviously close to my heart, but most of my writing is done on Orange Lazarus these days. Beyond that, I'm an enormous comic book nerd and read pretty much anything I can get my hands on. I occasionally read "real" books, but it's almost always non-fiction of some kind. This is probably because of my interest in Journalism, although I wouldn't classify it as a hobby. I'm a huge fan of gambling, so I actively seek out card games and casinos now that I can gamble legally (Blackjack is a classic.) So, in other words, I'm boring. -Shy
sakurasuka
Work. School. Website design. Dying my hair. Not a whole lot. Really, I'm not that boring a person, I'm just not allowed to have an abundance of social activities until I graduate. But it makes no difference. I'm content, so it's all good.
