Master Callipso has disappeared. We presume he was kidnapped,
and is still in the world of Delta.

?Kidnapped? Damn it. I?d better log out now.?

We have no clue where he is, or who took him. Be on alert,
Delta players. No one is permitted to log out
until Callipso is found.

?Son of a?What if it takes years to find him? Delta?s huge, he could be
anywhere, this had better not take long to find him.?

One year later

Felix slid down from the small parapet, and landed with a small thud beside his team.

?Geez, this place is kind of dull, isn?t it? Cool shops and everything, but there?s
nothing cool here,? said Felix with an exhausted sigh. He looked around, all he
could see were tall buildings made of nothing but metal and cement. There were many
civilians just walking around, some NPCs were walking as well, and only a few Delta
players had stayed in this town. Many players had already ventured to far off cities in
the world of Delta. Felix would have done the same, but he felt that there might still
be a chance that Callipso?s character was still hiding here. After all, Elysium was the
main city of Delta?why wouldn?t he be hiding, or kept against his will, here?
There was always a possibility, and Felix wanted the city to be completely searched,
as tiring and as dull as it may be.

?It?s getting late, Felix. We should probably go to an inn and rest,? said Kaishou,
his eye never leaving the distant sunset. Both Momo and Aleran nodded in agreement.
They were all right, of course, it was starting to get darker and their shadows were
starting to blend in with the darkness.

They all got up and started walking out of the First District of Elysium and headed
towards the Second District. The lights on the buildings began to slowly turn on
and shimmered brightly against their armor and weapons. Jokes and laughs were
shared by the team and very quickly they got to the lone and single street that
led into the Second District. The street was one of the only visible places that had
not been lit yet, which was odd. The street, because of how often it is used, usually
gets lit first and normally always has at least ten people walking through it. Today,
however, was the complete opposite. The darkness has nearly engulfed the entire
street, except for a select few spots where little light had penetrated. Felix thought
it odd, and felt that his teammates felt and thought the same.

?This.. this isn?t right. What?s going on guys?? voiced Momo, clearly shaken
but trying to keep cheery and positive attitude towards the group. Felix shrugged,
Aleran stopped as if trying to listen for something.

?Something?s coming?? whispered Aleran, slowly getting his lance out, still
trying to listen to whatever it was that was coming. Felix started to hear it too,
footsteps sprinting towards them. His eyes wide open and darting around trying
to get anything into view from the darkness. The footsteps were getting louder
and louder with every step, Felix noticed that Aleran and Momo had their
weapons out already, so Felix did the same. He unsheathed his sword, and went into
an attack stance.

?Be ready, Momo be ready to heal whenever you feel necessary,? said Felix
looking at Momo. She nodded in agreement, her face calm and ready. Felix looked
towards Kaishou, their eyes met, and they both nodded.

What happened next was something none of them had expected. They heard a
noise, one of those Noises where you can tell what happened right away. Someone
jumped right before they got to the team and they heard a loud thud on a rooftop
that was directly next to them. They all turned towards it, and saw it. A silhouette
against the moonlit sky. It was eerie to look at, and yet they couldn?t look away.
They were about to head for it when the shadow leapt with such force, that it seemed
to disappear. They stood there, looking from the rooftop to each other, confused looks
on their faces.

"What the hell was that?" exclaimed Aleran, with his mouth ajar in surprise.

OOC: Ok, as many of you already know, teams will have designated colors for their font when
RPing in Delta Rebellion. Please ask your team leader, if you have not already, to see what your color.
That goes for my team, Alpha Delta Beta, as well.

Kaishou looked back onto the rooftop where the strange silhouette had disspeared from, rubbing the lower part of his chin with his right hand. "...Now that's not something you see everyday... first the lights are out when they're usually on...," he then turned his face over to his team mates, his shoulder-length blue hair swaying in the wind, "...and now some mysterious figure has just suddenly appeared before us. Apparently this isn't just a normal Delta player or NPC."

"Apparently not..." Felix replied, still looking at the rooftop, "...you'd think maybe he was hiding something from us."

Momo stood in the middle of the two men, having them looking down at her. "Do you think maybe he had something to do with the kidnapping of Master Callipso?" she questioned, her face in worry. All the men looked at each other as if that was the most smartest thing they had ever heard in their life.

"Now that I think about it...." Kaishou quickly replied, "Instead of that being an enemy, do you think it was Callipso trying to watch over people?"

"What the hell are you talking about, Kaishou?!" Aleran yelled, "Why would you think that the master of everything here would...."

Suddenly, as if it were magic, the lights came back on and engulfed the whole street in light. You could then see the street leading to the second district and people were once again walking it.... it was back to normal.

"....Okay. That was just damn weird." Felix muttered, astonished.

Kaishou smirked a little and crossed his arms. "Well, anyways.... as I was saying... this shrouded person could either be Master Callipso or some tough NPC boss."

Aleran shrugged and grumbled. "Your point being?"

"That this isn't someone we should be taking lightly."

Momo was the first to cross the street over to the Second District. "Come on, you guys! If we don't hurry, all the inns will be closed soon!" She started running a little bit and then turned around, smiling as if she was trying to cheer everyone up.

"Okay okay! We're coming!" Aleran yelled as he started running towards her.

Felix and Kaishou smiled, nodding and walking towards them whilest they were talking. "So, Kai... you seriously think the person we just saw is that important?" Felix said, his arms crossed and looking at his best friend's calm face.

"Well...." Kaishou responded, still looking at the stars and then at his friend,"... I don't really know. I guess it's just one of those feelings you get whenever you feel something's wrong."

"Yeah... I kind of understand what you mean."

"Oh really? Like how you started spazzing over that girl that tried to flirt with you today?" Kaishou smirked and put his arm over his buddy's shoulder, lightly hitting Felix's chest and laughing.

"Shut up! Don't act like you're good with girls either, Kai!" Felix yelled, slightly blushing.

"Well... I know I've had more girlfriends than you; in the real world and in Delta."

"Oh? So then doesn't that make you a pimp?"

"H..hey!! Shut up!" Kaishou's face fluttered with red from embarassment and anger.

Felix laughed and kindly punched him in the arm... sort of like a friendly handshake between the two. Kaishou put his arms around Felix's head and gave him a noogie.

Both of them laughed and hurridly started over to the rest of the team. They then got together and joked amongst each other, soon forgetting about the situation at hand.

+~+~+~+~+~+~+~
OoC: I hope that was okay. I didn't really know where to go with the dissapearing shadow person, so if you would like me to edit it, Lan-kun, just PM me and I would be glad to do it.

Oh and btw, Lan-kun, since you wanted Kai and Felix to be friends, I sort of made it like a really friendly fight... since... you know... guys are guys, I guess. XDD

A smile was upon his face. Three figures strolled before him. His fingers tightly clutched the scabbard of his sword, as he carried it by his side. The wind blew softly through his hair; gently bidding a stray strand to fall upon his face. He pulled it back, and smiled again. The sky was slightly getting darker. Talia turned around; eyeing him.

?Why are you falling behind? And what is with that weird smile??

?First of all I was enjoying the nice sunset not that it?s any of your business, and second of all I believe I can smile as much as I want, not all of us are grieving over Callipso vanishing, and are so head over heels for the guy like you are y?know? He snapped as he always did.

?Oh Master Callipso I have finally found you, please take me in your big strong manly arms, take me!? He slightly raised the tone, and pitch of his voice to mockingly mimic her. He liked to tease Talia.

?Shut it Boushin, you know perfectly well that my interest in this issue is purely professional, and out of loyalty?

?Yeah right?I can see it when your eyes get puppy like and dreamy as you say his name? He chuckled.

He paused for a moment and gazed wistfully at the setting globe of flames, the clouds were like golden fleeced sheep against the fading light; grazing carelessly across the skies. How sweet it all seemed he thought for a moment. His head drooped down; his face was now veiled with shadows. Thoughts arose in his mind; he couldn?t help, but feel an odd rush sweeping through his body.

The distance between him and the group started to grow. He lifted his head, and quickly paced towards his comrades. After a moment or two he caught up with them.

?What?s wrong?? Xavier asked.

?Nothing?? Boushin murmured.

?Good?Stay focused?

?What on earth caused master Callipso to disappear like this anyway?? Talia wondered.

?His shear insanity that?s what, don?t get me wrong I like it here, I really do, but I?d rather spend my time doing something better than chasing Callipso through his own little wonderland, I think he just chose to hide himself? Yeah I ought to kill him the moment we find him, that egotistic bastard?

?Watch it!? Talia said.

?Stop this foolishness at once!? The team leader burst.

?Aye sir? The bickering two uttered at the same time.

?What are we doing lingering in Elysium anyway? Wouldn?t you think that he?d be in sort of a less public place?? Boushin though out loud.

?Indeed Boushin, but you see the most illusive action would be to hide right here under our noses, so I think we should rule this place out before we move on? Xavier explained.

?Well we?ve been roaming Delta for a year or so now?Ah no point in whining I guess?

They kept silent for a while, and were moving a long a crowded main street. Boushin was looking about the place, scanning through crowds of faces, some old and familiar, some new and fresh. A few girls smiled at him, he gave them that usual careless wink of his.

A strange and disturbing feeling rattled his heart. He placed his sheathed sword before the group, and stopped them. His thumb went for the secret latch near the hand guard, and unlocked it; setting the blade loose in its scabbard. Boushin readied himself for a quick draw. The building around them seemed to shudder before his eyes. He shook his head to rid himself of the images, but they just would not go.

?Something?s strange?I?ve not felt like this for a long time...?

?Yes we?re all happy for your breakthrough in group therapy Boushin, now get this thing away from me? Talia said nervously.

?That?s not funny? Is this an earthquake?? Boushin continued.

?Are kidding me?!? She exclaimed with surprise

?No I?m serious there?s something really wrong, do not move?

Talia understood, because although she and Boushin loved to tease, and get on each other?s nerves, she always took him seriously when she felt that he meant what he was saying. He closed his eyes for a few moments.

A whisper echoed in his mind, he couldn?t understand what it meant. It was as if something or someone was calling him. The voice was growing louder, and clearer; it seemed to him like its source was getting closer. Suddenly the uneasy feeling passed. He opened his eyes, and all was stable again.

?It?s over now, whatever it was its gone now?Did any of you see what was going on? Or hear that strange voice??

They shook their heads, and shrugged.

?What was it Boushin?? Melchior asked.

?I don?t know? The other muttered as he sealed the blade away.

?Maybe I?m just too tired that?s all??

The sound of metal clashing and footsteps scrambling and racing sounded out in the open grounds behind the building often used as a meeting place for Sigma Fi Omega. A giant black sword swung through the air and was met by the blade of an elegant looking scythe. The wielder of the scythe side stepped and spun around, letting her dark orangish hair sway with the wind and attempted another quick blow, but it was promptly blocked by the black cleaver-like sword. The man behind the block wore black and silver armor; light in weight and appearence but sturdy enough in design, it also allowed for swifter movement. He narrowed his eyes toward his opponent and forced her backwards with a parry. She put a grin on her face and stood her scythe up right next to her.

"Dri, you certainly know how to handle that weapon. You almost had me on that last one, but almost isn't good enough in battle" Elliot said as he reattached his Dark Reaver to his back. Dri spun her scythe around and did the same.

"Well, it's not like i'm fighting to kill you or anything. Afterall, not everyone is used to sparring with me like you are, but i suppose i'll have to start keeping some moves a secret from you so I can get the better of you next time, and end this little stalemate contest we have going hehe," Dri responded.

Elliot kept a serious look on his face as Dri walked up to him and used her fingers to force a smile on his face by pulling the sides of his lips upwards. She laughed subtly as Elliot tried to swat her hands away. "You're being annoying," said Elliot. Before any more conversation could occur between the two dark knights however, a man around the same height as Elliot walked into the archway of the sparring grounds, he had brown hair tied into a small ponytail.

"Hey you two, funs over. Lady Key wants to speak to us about something. According to Jhoon-kim it looks like there have been some reports about some strange figures or something like that showing up around town. Dunno what it all means myself, but you know how the boss lady gets," Talent informed them. Dri nodded in acknowledgement at the thief, another one of the members of Sigma Fi Omega. Talent threw a big smile on and winked at Dri. Dri gave a wink back and tilted her scythe causing the blunt end of it to lightly bash Talent on the head as she walked by. Talent rubbed his head and feigned being hurt by the blow.

"Hey careful! Wouldn't be much help to the team if you knocked me out now would I?" Talent said jokingly. Elliot followed behind Dri and let out a confident sounding sigh. "Hmph, if you wanna be knocked out i'll be happy to do the job for you," Elliot said while turning his attention to Talent. Talent returned the look and grinned. "Ha! You gotta catch me first!" Talent responded while doing some fancy footwork.

Dri walked back momentarily and started to pull both Elliot and Talent by their hair toward the meeting place. "Lets go you two!" Dri said while dragging them both along.

The three Sigma Fi Omega members walked into the building where Jhoon-Kim and Lady Key were waiting for them. Jhoon-kim greeted them as they walked in, Lady Key approached them and began to address everyone.

"Thanks for coming. It seems while he was out around the second district, Jhoon-kim overheard some people talking about some shadows or figures showing up around town. I thought it would be important to alert everyone to keep on their guard. Sigma Fi Omega haven't exactly been the most well liked people around here lately," Lady Key explained.

Elliot wore a doubtful look on his face and crossed his arms. "I don't see why we should concern ourselves, It could just be a bunch of harmless NPCs goofing around or trying to act all mysterious. I don't see why they could be any potential danger," he said.

"I agree with Elliot, and besides even if there are some kind of assassins or whatever the hell they are lurking around thinking they can take us on, we'll just beat em down senseless!" Talent said, smashing his fists together.

"It's true that we won't be bested by anyone so easily, but it would still be good to be on alert. Things have been a little strange lately around Elysium," Jhoon-kim added in.

Lady Key nodded and adjusted her staff by her side. "I have sensed it too. It may be an exaggeration, but we cannot afford to be ignorant to anything at this point." Lady Key exclaimed. The group agreed and went about any business that needed attention.

The sky over Elysium was completely dark now, but the town was still active with the lights as their guide as they reflected off the water and illuminated the streets. What was it that was subtly tainting the atmosphere around everyone? Nothing was certain, but surely something was about to happen.

"I don't think you're that tired." Xavier piped up, walking slowly to Boushin. "I think you're right." The team of Giga Omega Ki had given their ear to listen to Xavier.

"I've always valued your judgement whenever it comes to the darkness that you have seen or you have felt in your heart, trying to attack us. And it is because of your 'ability' to sense the darkness that we were able to have the upper hand against so many of the enemies we have faced throughout this year. I tell you this, Boushin," Xavier brushed his white hair from his eyes with his aged hand so his green eyes could penetrate Boushin along with his next words. "Never doubt yourself."

Xavier was clearly an old guy but he talked as if he was still in his mid 30s. The only thing that gave the age away in Xavier's voice, however, was the slight rasp in his voice; It sounded like a man who has drank too much alchohol over a long period of time, affecting the pitch in his voice. Xavier, [or rather, Xavier's user, Darrel] however, had never drunk alchohol before in his life.

Nevertheless, whenever someone needed a boost or a smile in the team, Xavier was there to support. Boushin, was thankful for that, flashing the tiniest of smiles towards him before turing the opposite direction.

"You'll have to forgive me, Xavier. I've been around you for nearly a year and your positive attitude still gives me the chills." Boushin said, never turning back around. "How is it that you're so damn happy all the time?"

"Because, it's in my alignment." Xavier meant it as a joke but was serious as he said it.

"Yeah, well good for you." Boushin said, turning back around. He looked at Xavier as he was talking, eyes closed as he looked up into the night. His white hair blew through the wind. It was as if Xavier didn't even hear Boushin's comment.

"The darkness doesn't understand the light, yet they are balanced, promoting the greater good. You, Boushin; dark as you may be, are in this group for the same reason. To balance out the team's light for the good of everything we've fought for."

Boushin looked at Xavier with a 'What The Hell' look for a while as Xavier brought his head down from the darkness. Boushin looked at Talia and Melchior before returning Xavier's gaze.

"You..." Boushin said pointing at Xavier as if he was crazy. "...Need to lay off the 'fortune cookies' old man. Save the chineese proverbs for other mages." Boushin soon cracked a smile afterwards.

"Man with one chopstick go hungry." Talia said, trying to lighten the mood more.

"Man who go to sleep with hard problem wake up with solution in hand." Melchior added.

The team burst into laughter.

"Ahhh, yeah." Talia sighed, still chuckling. "Good times..."

"But seriously though..." Melchior said, looking into the sky. "Something is going to go down. Just look at the sky... It's getting way too dark here." Everyone agreed, looking into the dark abyss that was once a sky. Soon, even the trees in front of them were hardly visible.

"Xavvieeerrr..." Talia called jokingly. Xavier had already known what she wanted since he felt unnerved as well from the overwhelming darkness.

"Already done."

Xavier spun his Blessed Quarterstaff vertically with both hands until the quarterstaff itself turned into a blur of brown from the momentum of the spin. As Xavier spun the staff faster, the spherical brown that was once a staff started to glow a bright illuminating white; the party squinted their eyes from readjusting to such a brightness of light so quickly. After Xavier got the spherical light to its maximum brightness, he threw the ball into the air while saying 'Clear Blessings'. The ball of light, at that moment, bursted into a small explosion over the parties heads; the fragments of light already beginning to hover and merge over the teammates, illuminating their previous walkway. The staff had magically appeared back in Xavier's hands.

"......Showoff!!" Boushin yelled at Xavier, his face illuminated by light. Xavier smiled at Boushin's words, even though he looked at Talia and Melchior who had simultaniously begun to put sunglasses on from the light. Xavier's jaw dropped while Boushin pointed at Xavier and laughed.

"Where'd you get those?!" Xavier yelled out, perturbed that Talia and Melchior had actually given the 'sunglasses idea' thought.

"Dude, sometimes that light of yours is too bright." Melchior said grinning to keep from chuckling. He threw a pair of sunglasses at Boushin who then put them on as if he was 'J' from the movie 'Men In Black'. Xavier looked at the ground, disgusted, but at the same time knowing it was all in good fun.

"Light show's over team." Melchior stated, shades still on. "Let's move out!"

As the team walked through the darkness, with Clear Blessings still active, Boushin began humming the theme to 'Men In Black', getting a dirty look from Xavier.

--------------------------------------------------

OOC: Hope this is enough. I honesty didn't know what else to put down, given the fact that my team leader, Gavin, hasn't posted yet. Whenever Gavin posts 'In Character', however, i'll post more myself. Till then, i'll wait on the sidelines...
Dri sat on a crate, legs folded, thinking quietly to herself about the pros and cons of going off to find out what the 'figure' actually was. Her curiousity was quickly outweighing her knowledge that Lady Key and the others would rather make a plan or avoid the issue all together rather than investigate. Resolving that she would plan on the way there, but go alone, Dri quietly hopped off her seat of the moment and inched towards the door.

"Dri, where are you going?" Elliot, who had been asked as he noticed her trying to slip out the door unnoticed while the others were talking. She growled at him for a moment, fearing that the others would have heard him, before disappearing out the door. Elliot, almost sure that she was about to try something reckless, left after her only to catch her right before she leapt onto the rooftop, weapon in hand. He asked her again, catching her off guard for a moment. Turning around, she let out a sigh of relief as she saw that it was only him.

"I'm going to look for this 'mystery threat' thing. I know Key would be against it, being without a plan and whatever, so I wanna go before she finds out," Dri smiled, twirling her scythe around her finger. Elliot stared back at her blankly.

"I'm not letting you go alone at night. We don't know who or what is the source of all the rumors, but whatever it is, it's probably dangerous." Dri frowned, knowing it would be hard to persuade him to let her go. She placed her scythe back on her back and casually strolled towards him, grinning wide.

"Aww... Elli's being protective. How cute!" she giggled. "But really, big guy, I'm no damsel in distress here. I can take care of myself, and my powers are stronger at night, too." By now, her rotation around him and left her behind him. She stood on her toes to reach his neck and whispered loudly. "And as charming as you may be, you aren't any prince."

"You aren't going alone," he said firmly, turning around, grabbing her wrist and holding it up. She paused for a moment, surprised at his unyielding, before recovering and making her infamous innocent face.

"But do we have to go with the others? Can it just be us?" He was silent for a minute before letting go of her.

"I hate that face, you know."

"Yeah, yeah. Now c'mon! Before they figure out where we're going," Dri laughed, grabbing a hold of his arm and pulling him after her. As the two ran through the alleys, Elliot tried to convince her that this was stupid, but she was too busy humming to pay attention.

---
Second District, Elysium
---

"I can't believe you talked me into this. I should've told Lady Key," Elliot mumbled. Dri hushed him over her shoulder as she continued climbing along the wall of the large inn. "Surely they've noticed us missing by now and have started to come look for us.

"Why? Are you scared of the big bad shadow monster?" Dri teased. Elliot rolled his eyes. "Besides, it's probably just a high-and-mighty idiot that thinks he can freak the players still in Elysium out. And if it is a monster, I'll protect you." She stiffled a giggle as she reached the edge of another building's roof and used it to launch herself onto the roof of the inn. Elliot followed easily, though his balance was off when he landed and he crashed onto his back with a thud. Dri laughed quietly before helping him up.

"You're the only monster I know, and besides. I'm afraid of what Lady Key's going to do to us, rather than some brat with too much time on his hands," he replied. Dri was silent, which made him raise an eyebrow. "Dri? What is it?" She moved her hand over his mouth and pointed towards the moon. As he turned his head slowly, he saw the lone figure standing on top of the lighthouse. Even though it was far away, both of them could feel the shadow's icy stare.

"I think that's him," Dri whispered. Elliot mumbled something, but it was stiffled by her hand still over his mouth. As her hand slowly returned to her side, the figure crouched for a moment before jumping high in the air and falling back down to earth, but several buildings were in the way of the two Sigma Fi Omega members' line of sight. "Quick, before he gets too far!" Dri cheered as she ran off, leaving Elliot behind to decide whether or not to follow her.

---
OOC: Alright, I wasn't sure exactly what to do, so I just dragged BKstyle's character along with me, lol. Other Sigma Fi Omega players (Elliot included), feel free to join Dri in pursuit of the shadow/figure. Dunno if she'll catch it or not, but it's the chase that counts. ;D
Growing tired of Boushin's continuous humming, Talia turned towards him elbowing him in his side. Keeping her pace she waited for Boushin to hit her back, but he did not. Looking up she saw that Xavier was giving Booushin a dirty look. He must of found his humming irritating as well.

Shivering from the dark power that had been growing. This was not normal, especially in Elysium, the main city of Delta and the starting point for most new players. Something was going down, and it wasn?t going to be good.

Callipso had to be found so that this world could return to normal. That darkness had something to do with Callipso?s disappearance and she wanted to find out why. She sucked in the air around her as she thought. What was going on, why where they forced to stay here and search for him. It was Callipso?s kidnaping had been a game. All these events.

Talia glanced over at Boushin, how dare he try to understand her feelings of Callipso. They were only out of loyalty. While his teasing only made her more interested Boushin, the misfit in their team. A darkness user, why would she be so intrigued by him. She was so confused about him and particularly why she was found herself aroused by his ways.

Xavier?s spell had not keep the chill from the darkness at full bay as Talia shivered once more from the cold. Rubbing her temple Talia wondered how much longer Melchoir had planned to let them walk around aimlessly as she was growing tired. Yet, determined not to show her weakness Talia pressed on, not speaking.

However he wouldn?t deny that spending the whole year with Laine hadn?t been good as in the real world they were countries apart and it was only through Delta that they could ever talk and be with each other, at the moment though Laine was stocking up on some of the rarer items not available in the Second District so it was for Vangelis to wait for her.

After exhausting his supply of skipping pebbles Vangelis got to his feet and began pacing around the lakes edge, taking in the scenery as he went. The usual affair of solo Delta players interacting with the NPCs of Delta around the lake, it was often the main place where the NPCs appeared to give out new missions and quests to the players. Eventually though his gaze was drawn to the skyline of buildings.

Being out of the rural parts of Delta was something of an annoyance for Vangelis as he took his Ranger class very seriously he always preferred staying away from the urban centres and getting his supplies from the small villagers or travelling NPC salesmen. He didn?t mind the lake though, and the impressive town hall in the centre of it.

?Vangelis! Hello, are you in there?? Vangelis was shaken from his contemplative state by Laine as she ran up behind him, items in hand.

?Hrm, what? Oh sorry, you know how I get lost in though sometimes...? Vangelis started but trailed off mid-sentence. Laine gave him one of those knowing friendly smiles before he asked her what she?d picked up whilst shopping.

Elliot shook his head and followed Dri in her pursuit. He knew she had always been the adventurous type but hated it when it was something he felt would be too time consuming and a wild goose chase in the end anyhow. If it turned out to be dangerous, it wasen't even a question of Dri's ability to fend for herself, Elliot just preferred to do the fighting for her. He has seen her fight on multiple occaisions though and knows that behind her seemingly innocent and beautiful exterior was the fighting spirit of a true dark knight. He couldn't help shake the feeling that she was going to get herself into big trouble someday.

"Hey! I think we got him! He's down there trying to hide in the corner between the blacksmith and the pawn shop! Oh man, he's gonna be sorry he tried to run from us!" Dri yelled back at Elliot as she jumped down from the roof of a building. Elliot followed in a hurry and leaped down behind Dri. She pulled her scythe off her back and swung it around toward the figure and voiced for him to give himself up.

"Wait! D..don't kill me please! I..I didn't do anything!" was what the man who Dri had at scythe point said. Perplexed, Elliot and Dri walked closer and saw that the figure they thought they had chased down was just a citizen NPC on his way back from buying bread and fruits. With a dissapointed sigh, Dri took brought her scythe back and motioned for the NPC to continue on his way.

"Way to go, you dragged me along to chase some bum whose only method of defending himself is throwing a melon at us. You done with your evening exercise yet?" Elliot said to Dri while easing his hand off Reaver. Dri got a pouty look on her face and kicked the ground. She turned to Elliot and crossed her arms like she was trying to ignore him.

"Don't know what your talking about, it's obvious that the shadowy figure tried to deceive us by leading us here. He's gotta still be in Elysium though...come on lets keep looking!" Dri answered. She tried to walk the other way but Elliot grabbed her arm and pulled her back. "I don't think so, theres nothing out here and were just wasting time. If it's one thing I hate, it's wasting time. If someone wants to sneak around and get himself killed, then he can come to me when he wants," Elliot said while keeping a firm grip on Dri's arm.

Dri smiled at him and pressed herself closer to him. She started to run her hand across his chest and giving him a look with her eyes, trying to convince him to keep searching. Elliot grabbed her other hand though and shook his head. "Not going to work this time, we're heading back now." Elliot said, looking at Dri.

"Hmph...you're no fun!" she said back in a faux pouty voice, as Elliot let go of her. They started to walk back, when suddenly Elliot heard footsteps behind them. He turned his head slightly to catch the outline of someone running up from behind Dri. Elliot stopped quickly in his tracks, reached to his back and pulled Reaver into his hand. Dri just turned to notice but was quickly grabbed by Elliot on her shoulder and pushed aside, while Elliot thrusted Reaver toward the direction of the figure. The man following them stopped short enough to avoid contact and nearly lost his footing as he fell back.

"Whoa! Hey would you watch where your pointing that thing!? If i didn't have such good brakes i would have been one handsome looking shish kabob!" Talent said while brushing himself off.

"Talent? What the hell are you doing here?" Elliot asked, easing Reaver to his back. "Well I could ask you two the same thing...or did you think we weren't going to notice that you two decided to go for a moonlit walk around the town. That is of course...if there was any moonlight tonight...but anyhow, I was gonna head into second district to pick up a few things and was gonna ask you to come with me and that's when i noticed you were gone. Key figured that Dri just ended up dragging you somewhere...again." Talent answered back in a humorous voice.

"I know, i'm probably gonna hear it from Lady Key but i couldn't resist! I had to find out what all this commotion about this guy sneaking around Elysium was all about. I'm pretty sure we saw him though! He just happened to get away..." Dri said. Talent shrugged, but then remembered something he had seen on his way to the second district.

"You know actually, now that you mention it...i did see something strange on my way here. I wasen't sure what it was but it was roof hopping around..." Talent started to say. Dri gave Elliot a light smack on the arm, "See! I told you!" she said.

"Hmph, you don't whoever this mysterious figure is, is actually a cause for concern do you?" Elliot asked in a unworried tone. Talent shook his head, "Probably not, but Key was right about something being weird about tonight. I mean besides the sky being darker than usual and the air being colder than usual. Heh, i guess only weird old mages can sense this kinds of things with their magic or something!" Talent said while laughing, as another figure began to walk up behind him.

"Oh? and who are you calling weird? OR old for that matter!?" the voice from behind him said. Talent stopped laughing and widened his eyes, which soon drooped back down realizing that he had just been caught. Talent looked at Elliot and Dri who were just standing casually side by side as if nothing was happening to make sure they were free of any suspicion. 'Son of a...' Talent thought to himself, before turning around.

"Lady Key! Hiya...um, I found them! See...they're right here! By the way that's a nice looking robe, the purple really fits you! It matches your..." Talent began to say before Key cut him off. "No use trying to save yourself now Talent. But i'm glad everyone is here anyway, I asked Jhoon-kim to run a little errand for me. He has a good sense of direction so he should be joining us soon. All jokes aside however, i've found out something rather interesting from a reliable source of mine." Lady Key said to the rest of her squad.

Elliot, Dri, and Talent listened in, waiting to hear what Lady Key had to tell them...

Bah, sorry about being so late Lan, I've just not had time of late.

Melchior continued to merely stare out at the bay, having already removed his sunglasses and tossed them back into his pack, sometimes he wondered how he'd ended up with such an immature team. He sighed out, Giga Omega Ki was one of, if not the strongest teams in all of Delta and yet sometimes they could act like complete children, it was frustrating to say the least. However Boushin was right, Melchior had felt something although he had not said it to the rest of the team, he didn't want to worry them with unnecessary baggage. He was surprised that Talia hadn't felt anything, but she was still young yet, only a Level 2 Paladin, and her power would grow as the months passed, of all the team members he enjoyed her company the most, perhaps because they shared the same class and thus were alike in persona.

?Alright Team, let's move out, it's getting late here and we're all due a good nights sleep. We're only a few minutes out from Giga's guild house, and I'll be the first to admit I'd like a warm bed more than many things at the moment.? The rest of the team nodded in agreement, it was getting late and the First District of Elysium could turn quite cold when it wanted to. The guild houses had been established soon after Callipso had gone missing, as a way for wandering teams to be able to find rest when they needed it without having to part with their money. Giga?s house had been located in Elysium, something Melchior had been thankful for, it was a pain to have to crash in another teams guild house, as it inevitably lead to a favour being owed. The red brick building came into full view after a few minutes of walking, Melchior exhaled gratefully before realising they had no groceries at the house.

?What?s wrong Melchior ?? They question had come from Talia, a measure of concern on her soft face. The same question was poised on the other team members lips but Talia had beaten them to the punch. ?Team Gamma Tau Epsilon stayed here a few days ago and I don?t think they replaced the groceries they used up, you three go ahead, I?ll get some food for tonight and tomorrow and be back. Just have the heat on, my bones are freezing.?. Boushin remained stone stiff, his way of asking if Melchior needed a hand, after all the longer it took for the Level 4 Paladin to get the food, the longer it was before they ate. ?Go on before I demote you all down a rank.? Talia turned to Xavier ?Can he do that ?? The old mage shook his head. ?Doesn?t matter to me, I?m still level one, he can?t demote me lower. Besides I don?t think even Melchior has that kind of authority.?

The Paladin sighed again, sometimes his team?s loyalty would royally irritate him, oh well, there was no point in arguing with them further and the shop was only a hundred or so meters down from the house. The owner was an ex-adventurer who knew exactly how important a full stomach was to the completion of a quest, Tugo had been one of the senior members of the team Melchior started out on, and never failed to give him sagely advice. The shop was styled similar to the surrounding building, but Tugo was there, as always with a newspaper in his hand and a smile on his face. ?Seems you?re in the paper again Melchior, you and your team took care of some bandits way out from the city. Whatever happened to that cocky young Paladin who wanted to go after dragons and other high difficulty level monsters ?? Melchior?s cheeks began to redden, the rest of the team stared at him with disbelief, Melchior cocky ? The couldn?t be right.

?Save it Tugo, Gamma Tau Epsilon used our building and cleared out the stores, we need to replenish them for out next ?high difficulty level? quest. He was smiling, as was Tugo, he just hated it when Tugo brought up his old team?s past. Melchior turned towards the other team members before raising an eyebrow. ?Well ? I thought you guys were hungry, where are the new supplies ?? Tugo chuckled. ?You?re getting more and more like Ares every time I see you. Same stoical old bastard who runs his team like a team ought to be run.? After a few minutes the rest of the team had reassembled next to the till, each with an armful of supplies, Tugo let out a faux-impressed whistle. ?All that then ? My, my Melchior, these three would give Sanga a run for his money.? Melchior blew out his breath derisively, Sanga had been a warrior on their team, a giant of a man who ate more than the rest of the team combined, it had given Ares, Tugo and Melchior a lot of financial headaches over the team?s lifetime. Drawing out a handful of Deltan banknotes, Melchior paid for the goods before the team moved out of the store.

A few minutes later they arrived back in their team house, spotlessly clean as it had been left and the heating was activated, within thirty seconds Xavier and Talia were in the kitchen preparing food while Boushin and Melchior sat in the team?s living room soaking up some much needed heat. Boushin turned to Melchior, a enquiring look on his face. ?Why didn?t you say you felt it too ??

||||||||||

Probably could have been shorter but I just wanted to set out somewhere the team could call home. Tugo for anyone who might be interested would be pronounced with a soft U and thus sound like ?2Go?.

Once inside the team's guild house, Talia went into the nearby, kitchen rummaging through the many bags of food. Xaiver joined her following her lead as she began to pull aside rabbit meat, garlic, salt and pepper, red bell peppers, asparagus, red onion and beer. As she started to prepare the meal, Xaiver put the other food and supplies away.

After preheating the grill to a medium high Talia began perparing the rabbit meat by seasoning it with garlic and salt. She poured three beers into a bowl and waited for the meat to cook for 15 minutes before basting it. In the time she waited for the meat to heat up Talia began to chop vegatable with Xaiver. They sprinkled the vegatables on both sides with salt and pepper and added them to the grill.

About thirty minutes later, Talia and Xaiver toke out plates and set the Grilled Vegatables and Beer Basted Rabbit on the table. Talia walked towards, Boushin and Melchior as Xaiver performed some finshing touches on their meal. Tapping Melchior on his shoulder, Talia smiled as he turned.

"Dinner is done," and stealing a glance at Boushin she spoke again, "No help from you though."

Smirking, Boushin yawned as he stood, "Well I figured it best to leave a woman's work to a woman, no offense Xiaver."

Her face turning red from anger, Talia pushed Boushin towards the floor, yet he caught himself before he face planted.

"Sexist bastard." She hissed as she turned on a heel, sitting at the table next to Xaiver.

OOC; Neh, crappy post....all I could think of at the time, I really don't want this to die so early.
