If you leave physical appearance behind I would probably guess that I was older. Not by much though. Maybe a few years? I?ve never been very good at gauging people?s age as teenagers vary so much in terms of maturity, and other things as well. The only reason I would guess I am older is that online, pretty much everyone thinks I?m older. Which is fine by me. ^_^ I?m use to the being ignored because she?s just a stupid young teenager in real life, so it?s nice to not be ignored or dismissed as being irrelevant due to my age or lack thereof. Guest Setsuna 16
I'm 15 but most people think I'm grown because of my figure they say I look like a short 18 or 19 year old :animeswea
Setsuna 16, please read the Rules and FAQ (on the left sidebar) before continuing to post here. Thus far your posting isn't of the high quality we expect from our members.

Some people think that I'm 16 or 18 but I'm only 13. So when I tell them that they're suprised. And I mean they regret that they thought I was 13 so they all act excited. I guess you could say that I look older by acting mature (which I'm not once you get to know me). Then again I'm pretty tall and since I'm skinny it makes me even taller.

Well I know for a fact that I can go both ways, look younger or older :p . and heres how I have a baby face, but also a beard. ok so when I shave people that I dont know ask what grade I'm in and the're shocked to find that I'm older :animesigh . Then with the beard, late on the fourth of july I was able to get a hold of something I shouldent have and I didnt even get carded while the person in front of me did :animeswea . So it depends shaved I look like a freshman in highschool, with the beard a little over 21 (clue). :animesmil

I'm 18, but based off appearances I'd probably say I look like I'm in my 20s/30s. It's only cos I keep a facetight beard though lol. I have a babyface under it though, and there's no fooling some people lol
:(

As for behaviourally, I'd probably guess myself to be 17/18. I spend most of my time laughing my *** off at anything that moves, but when it comes down to it, I can be extremely mature and responsible. AJ is balanced, yes.

Interesting, most interesting.

Well I'm 19 and I think I act pretty much like a normal sober 19 year old ought to, though I am a bit beige compared to friends. In terms of physical appearance, since growing a goatee, I've been told I look in my early/mid twenties and the fact that I lift weights regularly means people often assume I'm older than I actually am. Really I don't care what age people really think I am, I'm old enough to drink legally, drive legally, so there's no real bonus to look any older than I actually am. Besides, I looked younger than my peers for long enough and that always sucked, being asked at 15 whether you're old enough to go into a movie is annoying as hell.

I'm 23, but I'm frequently told that I look several years younger. I still get asked for ID on occasion!

I don't mind it though, because I am hoping I'll also look younger when I'm in my 30s and 40s, which wouldn't be a bad thing at all. I'd hate to be 30 and look like a 40 year old. :catgirl:

In terms of personality, I can be more mature and professional than people my age (and significantly older), but I think I'm basically young at heart. I have a pretty lighthearted view of most things and I try to keep an interest in things that make me feel young...whether that's something simple like a video game, or playing games with my nephew or something. I would never want to think that I'm too old to make a fool of myself. ~_^

I'm 18, 19 in a month or so. I don't think I've ever had my age mistaken. Inside, I feel 18/19, basically because I act like people my age do, I rationalise like many people my age... you get the picture.

It's difficult to judge yourself. I know when I was 16 I thought that I could easily pass as a 20 year old if I put myself into that state of mind. Nowadays I realise that I probably barely passed for my own age. At 15/16 I was still throwing temper trantums.

Those were the good ol' days.

I?d love to think that I?m younger, but having children and with my youngest being fourteen; it?s all too evident that I?m getting close to 50, literally. I suppose the only thing different is that other adults my age feel I am too soft on my children, but I see it as finally learning to let them make their own choices. You?re often harder on your first born than you are on the last one.

If I were to go by physical appearance, well looking like a mom really fits. The only good thing is that people are so far off on my age by either guessing way too young or too old, it just means I?m not so easily defined. :) I?d rather not be known as the inflexible old lady living next door thank you very much.

Having said that, my neighbour is a crazy lady with about 5/6 children. All I ever hear coming from that house is 'SHUT UP!' or 'PUT THAT DOWN!' or 'NO!' o_o;

In fact I can't remember having to tell them to Shut up. As for the put that down. Haha, I think there isn't a kid alive who at one point doesn't get into something they shouldn't. ;)

Now if I could just get past the part that they are so much smarter than me that I feel like I'm ancient and outdated. I guess I always feel a little older than what I really am. Though my kids do make it feel worthwhile. :)

I'm 12, but when I went to my aunt's wedding, I met my uncle. We chatted and stuff and then I had to go home. My aunt went with me and when we got there, she told me that my uncle thought I was 16!! I guess it was cuz of my high heels, makeup, and a purse lol

I'm fifteen, but I don't know what others think of my age. I personally don't know what age group I act in. Sometimes I can be serious, but often times I find myself goofing off - in public, even. We were at Mt. Rushmore, and I was marching to the music and walking funny.

Sometimes I have reason to believe that I act very childish. But its not my fault. I was born that way. Blame it on my parents. XP

When I was in Grade 5, someone thought I was in high school (when they saw me) because I was so tall. I was around 165 cm at that time, not sure how much that is in inches...
Now, I am 13 and 5'9...if I looked ar myself, I'd think I was around 14-16 years old...

ahaha... very interesting... most people would think that i'm about 9, 10, or 11 since i act so immature and happy go lucky(im only 13)... but that sometimes changes wen i hang out with grown ups... they keep forgeting that i'm still a teenager since i act so 'maturely' and stuff :animesmil but i think mostly id think that im around 10... uhh without the immature comments thrown at me xD

I think i am mature for my age of 15 because i am not as impulsive as one or anybody else. Yet i still act silly with my age group.

Other people on the other hand say i'm 12 years old by my looks and height(4'11).Which pisses me off.

Yet i don't look 12 to myself. :animesigh

I don't think anybody in real life, outside of my friends and family, have gotten my age right. Seriously.

I turned fifteen not even a week ago, but most people think I'm actually younger due to my rather short height and non-mature appearance. By that, I mean my face isn't exactly 'old' looking. =P

People have mistaken me for being eleven or twelve, and some have garnered I was going into sixth or seventh grade when I was/am going into freshman or sophomore year. Teachers can never get my age right, even ones specifically set in my grade.
Then again...
This past spring, I went to the office because my locker was jammed, and had the dean come along with me. We passed the staircase to go the junior and senior lockers. He stopped, and wondered why I didn't.
"Aren't you a junior?"
"No, I'm a freshman..."

Online, however, is an entirely different case...Whereas in real life, I'm thought of as some youngin', I've been given a wide variety of ages online. Dunno why, really. :3
