Encounters with the afterlife or stories of local hauntings.

Does anyone now about hauntings near their home? Or has anybody here encountered something they will never forget?

I have encountered minor things myself. At school I was walking upstairs when I felt a pushing feeling on my back. Not a harmful one but a gental presence. A girl did hang herself near the bomb shelter. Also a couple of my classmates got out of the girls bathroom. When they saw a couple walk down the hall. they then dissapeared. The girls ran back to the library.

As for rumers there's this house in Norwoood. (near where I live) And there a woman was stabbed by someone. With a shovel. The guy saw a man with that shovel. The shovel had blood running down it. Also there was a teenager at the side of a bed with her younger family members. When suddenly it looked as if the room was spinning.

Well anyway if anything along the line of [U][B]CREEPY[/B][/U] or [U][B]WEIRD[/B][/U] has been seen tell it here. Believe me i know some strange ones.

I was using the restroom one day when i saw this bright light on the door. I had been dared by friends to leave the light off tosee if this one rumor was true. So i was sitting there with the light shining then all of a sudden i heard the sound of a train. I looked to the other door and i saw the shape of a train. I got up and ran for my life.

Another time i was laying in my bed and i saw this shadow passing around my room. It was hot and i was sweating but the next thing i know i was shivering. Then i felt it target to places on my body, the back of my knees and my shoulders. It then felt like i was being picked up bridal style off of my bed. I was so freaked out.

thats freaky.... i dont really have much experience with em unless yu count the door in your bathroom open in front of you while no one's there to be an experince... o and where you get the feeling that someones staring at you VERY intently with sounds accompanying it like tapping and footsteps. _._;;; its getting rather annoying or its just me being very very very paranoid due to umm... nightly nightmares. but then my friend is another story. her cousin has a cursed doll that injures and uhh.. posseses you and she nearly got possesed when sleeping. >.>

I haven't seen anything creepy, but definetally out of the ordinary (and totally badass). One day, about 3 years ago, my brother, my cousin, and I, were playing outside. It was nighttime and all three of us were scared. We had always been jokingly afraid of the dak in fear that 'Chiropterans' (vampire-like beasts from Blood the Last Vampire) would attack us. This particular dark night, we were messing around by heading down the street then abruptly turning around and running home, each time venturing a little farther.

What was truly scary was that an unoccupied home at the corner of our street was making questionable noises, which we assumned was vampires, of course. Adding to the creepy atmosphere was blasting which had been going on all week. The sounds were like gunshots once every few minutes which came from the forest surrounding the neighboorhood (this was curious, because we had been playing in the wooods frequently and never found where or why the blasting occured.)

Then came the mother of all spectacles. Just as we were heading in for the night, we hear a sound and all three of us look up the see a UFO fly overhead!! It was flying rather low, and was circular-based with lots of lights, just like in the movies. We all stared in awe as the ship disappeared into the night.
