[color=slategray][size=2][i]?I bid you all welcome, the future of Soul Society. All of you have chosen to be here, to help replenish our strength and our prestige. The devastation the great war with the Arrancar and Bounto alliance has caused to the ranks of Soul Society are extravagant, but with the power and potential of the young Shinigami hopefuls and the remaining population of the 13 squads we will once again rise and put an end to this war with a victory for Soul Society.

You will all undergo intense training in both the usage of your Zanpakuto and the demon arts. The process will not be expedited for the sake of you all receiving the proper training that even our Captains have undergone. It is unfortunate that such a large number of Shinigami recruits are needed at this time during a still ongoing war, but as we stand at a stalemate on the fronts of the battle lines in both the real world and Soul Society; we must prepare for even more battles and we must strengthen our forces. Your enrollment here will enable us to bolster our defenses and offensive power greatly.

Upon your graduation, if you are accepted into the 13 divisions you will be assigned to one of the remaining 7 squads. Either under the leadership of Captain Soi Fon and the Second Division, Captain Retsu Unohana and the Fourth Divison, Captain Kuchiki Byakuya and the Sixth Division, Captain Kyouraku Shunsui and the Eighth Division, Captain Hitsugaya Toushiro and the Tenth Division, Captain Urahara Kisuke and the Twelfth Division, or myself, Captain Ukitake Juushiro and the Thirteenth Division. [size=1]The new class of the Shinigami School of Soul Society was dismissed at the end of Captain Ukitake?s speech. Captain Ukitake was named the new head of the Gotei 13 after the death of former Captain Yamamoto Genryuusai Shigekuni. What he had stated in his speech was all too true. The devastation of the war was immense. Nobody in Soul Society even fathomed the thought of the Bounto joining forces with Aizen?s army of Arrancar. The war forced many Shinigami to carry out battles in the real world as well as soul society. With their decreased power outside of Soul Society along with the treachery of former Captain Kurotsuchi Mayuri and the many records on Soul Society at the disposal of the alliance, the ranks of the Gotei 13 took major losses throughout many battles.

Losses were heavy on both sides however, even with the increased numbers of both Arrancar and Bounto from all over the world.

Former Captain Komamura Sajin and former Captain Tousen Kaname fought an incredible battle between one another, sacrificing both of their lives for the cause of their respective sides. With tears in Komamura?s eyes for failing to bring the man he considered his close friend back to Soul Society?s side, he gripped Tousen in his large grasp upon being stabbed by Suzumushi within Tousen?s Enma Kourogi and used his Bankai suit of armor to crush them both underneath it?s giant fist.

Former Captain Ichimaru Gin and Captain Hitsugaya Toushiro?s battle ended in major injuries for both men, but forces from both Soul Society and the Alliance interfered before either one could finish off the other.

Many of the lives of the Gotei 13?s Vice Captains were also lost. Former Vice Captain Kira Izuru lost his life in a valiant effort to take the Bounto leader Jin Kariya?s life. He was overwhelmed and killed, and along side him Vice Captain Hisagi Shuuhei suffered life threatening injuries from the battle but was recovered by Captain Retsu of the Fourth Division. Vice Captain Matsumoto Rangiku survived an encounter with a massive Bounto army and was saved by Vice Captain Abarai Renji, who wiped out a mass of Bounto with his Bankai, but suffered a substantial amount of injuries himself.

Urahara Kisuke has returned to Soul Society to retake his place as 12th Division Captain after former Captain Kurotsuchi Mayuri betrayal.

Captain Kuchiki Byakuya came within inches of defeating former Captain Aizen Souske, the leader of the Alliance, if not for the timely rescue with the usage of the Menos Grande yet again. With Aizen?s escape and both sides suffering bloodshed and losses, a long silence has taken effect and what is now known as "The Stalemate" is serving as Soul Society?s opportunity to replenish their forces with new Shinigami recruits.[/size]

[SIZE=3]OOC[/SIZE]: Yes, this is a Bleach based RP. I had this idea for a few days and thought i'd take a chance and turn it into an RP here. It is a completely alternate take on events in the later series and the fillers (since the Bounto are involved) as well as a fictitious scenario on where things will go between Soul Society, The Bounto, and Aizen's Arrancar. It isn't neccesary to have seen the whole Bleach anime or read the whole Bleach manga, though it is a big plus since it will allow for better ideas on the characters and the RP itself. The sign-ups are for the young Shinigami whom make up the new class. The RP will take place after graduation day when each Shinigami accepted is assigned to one of the remaining squads of Soul Society. Events will play out as they will with the imaginations of everyone who takes part, and follow a more realistic based situation involving forming friendships and other relationships amongst one another as well as getting to know your Captains and squads better, and of course how the Stalemate will end and how the war will proceed.
