Brotherhood of the Wolf: Underground [M-LV]

Yay!

Well, yeah, I'm getting the RPG going soon. Today possibly. Now I've got a certain set up for the RPG, it's somewhat like a Chapter System, though I'd prefer it as a sort of... event system.

The first part of the RPG will be a Prologue, so it's just an introduction. Each member of the RPG will have a chance to post, more than once if they wish. However I'll only give you a certain number of days to actually get your posts up, so it's best to try and introduce your character in the Prologue even if you have trouble posting later on.

Then I'll post Part I, there won't be a mini paragraph about what is going to happen (I might sometimes post what will be featured in each part, but that's it), all you need to know is that for each new part there will be a much bigger event. You'll have to keep checking here, different factions may become very involved in a certain part of the story (ie: The Society might decide to unleash the beast at a football game, or the Hunters decide to make a move to get rid of the Brotherhood).

Also, if you don't manage to post in two weeks without informing me, you will die.

....Uuuh, I mean, your character will die. Heh. I'd never kill you guys... no, I'm not like that.

So that's the run down. For now. Questions, posts here. I'm a little busy so I might take awhile to get back to you folks, so if anyone's PMed me lately and I haven't replied then I apologise for that, too.

Sign-Ups close on Tuesday when the final listing will be given.

I was just wondering about one of the characters who was accepted. StarrStruck's character, Mihret Enslin, is in fact a woman... And you said in your intro to the story that a few women do go into battle. I was just wondering why she was called Brother Enslin... Shouldn't we be calling her Sister Enslin??? Just curious.

Outside the meetings the Brothers (even females sometimes go by this) can do as they please as long as it doesn?t contradict their mission. However, during meetings and mostly during the battles with the Hunters, Brothers were required to apply paint to their bodies, even the few females who went into battle.
That's in the signup thread, so I would assume that's why Starr's character is called Brother even though she's a woman. And if there are "few females who go into battle" then, well, there must be a few females, eh?

Ah yes, Ozy be right. And the reason the girls are also called Brothers is part of my twisted childhood (...not that twisted). Don't know what is was my brother watched on TV, but he and his friends were called "Brother Whatever", and the girls, meaing me to, had to be the bad guys who always lost because we weren't boys. Yeah it's weird, but they all got the best weapons and hiding places, JUST because they were Brothers!

...Trust me, compared to most of you lot that has to be a perfectly normal upbringing =p

Well, I didn't post to brag about that either. I'll have a map up soon, which'll be edited each week with where the beast has gone, locations (hideouts and whatnot) and among other things.

However, the information on the map will be strictly IC. So if anyone posts here about a location of their group, let's say, and it hasn't been mentioned in the RPG yet then it won't go on the map. Keep in mind if a Hunter mentions to a Hunter, in the RPG, where their new hideout is and it does go on the map, then your character won't know about it unless they've been told/found the location (or if they were a Hunter themselves). Savvy?

Also, I'm open for ideas about the whole RPG. Anything really. If you want to bring anything into the RPG just drop it by me first, in the underground or simply message me. Keep in mind there are two factions without an actual OB member playing the leader...

Sooooo....

That means you can all add things on (maybe the Hunters produced a unique brand of weapons that can actually blow the legs off an ant from fifty miles away, I dunno). Run it by your other faction members as well though, not so much if it's a small thing but something huge, like actually bringing in a faction leader/totally high-ranking member who's going to boss you all around, then most definitely contact your other players. And feel free to post any suggestions here. Most things in this thread will be treated as OOC information =D

Not much is known about the Beast, even to most of the Society members. They just know that they control it.

vicky has allowed me to come up with a few things about the Beast that will be in character information, and the rest of what's here will probably still need to be discovered so I'll be labeling this in character and out of character as they may be.

In Character:
The Beast is a strange mixture of mystical and mortal. The Society created and controls it, but it isn't entirely loyal to anything but itsself, so it's kept under lock and key. It's rarely seen in light, and has no qualms about the age or gender of its victims. It's best to avoid it when in a bad mood. Or a good mood. Actually, it's best to avoid it altogether.

It generally goes for the neck, head or stomach areas when attacking, and it's teeth are sharp enough to go through bone. It's insanely fast and agile, but does have a few weak spots - namely its eyes.

Out Of Character:
Not only is it a huge, cow-sized wolf-like creature, it's also not an it, it's a she. There are very, very few Society member who actually know that, and none of the Brotherhood or the Hunters would know.

She smells like blood - both old and fresh - and wet animal, but you have to be very close to her to ever realize that, hence why this information is going in OOC. Ahah.

Further bullitins as events warrent.

vicky, a few things.

First, I'm pritty much done my sign-up, all except the snippet. (almost done)

About the story, with the "intro" posts, are we allowed to have NPCs? Not necessarily a character's family/friends, but Brotherhood/Hunter/Society members? If so, and if my sign-ups alright, I have an idea...but you'll have to wait and see what that is, savvy?

Whoops, I meant to reply to this last night, but it turns out I fell asleep after watching Superman (in 3D might I add).

Yep, NPCs are okay. You can even have some NPCs reaccuring throughout the RPG, as long as you don't put too much focus on them. Since the Society and Hunters are one man down, I can also allow those two factions to put in a reaccuring NCP that can be just as much focus as the other characters. To make up for being one man down. But, that's up to you guys again, and I wouldn't suggest doing that until a little later on.

The Prologue ends on Monday... or Sunday night, depends how awake I am.

Yep. Get your posts up guys. Random, even though you haven't finished your snippet, if you really, really want you can post an introduction then finish your snippet. I just think an introduction before everything kicks off would be a good idea.

(At this point I wish Superman had some catch phrases...)

S'okay, I'd have to bomb myself if that was the case. I think I also forgot to post when I should've >_>

If everyone else starts posting we can get things back on track, lol.

As for Paris, look for clues, find interesting things, notice interesting people (Hunters mostly, let's get them involved, don't have to talk to them like... just notice the characters if you want), you can do anything. I've got something planned for my next post (or I will have...)

But no one's going to die this time around... this time... heheheeee...
