The crimson sun shone brightly over Twilight Town, bathing the citizens in it's vibrant light. Things were relatively calm today, perfect circumstances for an afternoon of thought, especially for Twilight Town's denizen Roxas. He had been a whole being for months, suprisingly, and it still didn't feel right. For him to have his own being again, he must have some purpose as such. He still wielded the Keyblade, and he still had the ability to fight the Heartless and Nobodies.
So then was his destiny now? Since the appearance of the clooked man, Axel, and the reappearence of his Keyblade, nothing interesting had happened. The occasional Heartless would appear, and the nobodies has almost ceased to appear. The only nobodies left in the city were the actual people, save for a few. Roxas knew that he, Axel, Seifer, Fuu, Rai, and Vivi were whole beings...but Hayner and the gang...They were nobodies of Sora's friends.
"Roxas!"
Roxas snapped back into the present as Hayner's voice reached his ears. He turned around and walked into their Hangout Spot. Axel was sprawled out on the couch near the wall having a conversation with Olette, Pence was tossing darts at the dart board [and missing horribly], and Hayner was leaning against the wall on the pool table. He grinned at sight of Roxas and called his buddy over.Roxas walked over smiling and him and Hayner did their handshake. Hayner spoke tauntingly, yet playfully.
"Jeez, man! You just sit out there some times, it's so wierd. Did you act like this with the other us?" Roxas had explaine dthe alternate Twilight Town to his friends, and they had understood. It was almost as if nothing had changed for Roxas, saving Axel now being a part of the group. Though there was tense air at first from Axel's previous exploits, upon explaining his motive, he was instantly accepted. Now Roxas had everything he wanted. His own friends, his own life. But something was brewing, and Roxas could feel it.
"Actually, yah, I did. Guess things never change, huh?" Everybody laughed and Hayner patted his friend on the shoulder.
"Well, Roxas, I know one thing that'll never change. The five of us," he gestured to them all, "will always be friends. So long as you don't get hit by a car while your daydreaming." More laughs, and Roxas eased into the couch next Axel. Roxas looked at him, and Axel nodded. They both grinned and hit fists together. Pence threw his last dart and turned to the gang.
"Well? Whaddowedo now---" He was interrupted by a scream from outside. Axel and Roxas looked at each other quickly and then jumped up, running outside. Down around the sandlot area there were creatures attacking the civillians. Roxas gasped upon spotting them.
"Nobodies!" Roxas drew his katana and transformed it into his keyblade. Axel stuck out his hands and summoned his chakrams. They hit their weapons together and ran towards their enemies, but both stopped dead when they arrived. Their were both Nobodies and Heartless assaulting the city. Roxas was amazed.
"Heartless and Nobodies? I sense the hand of this new Organization...and another force." Axel wasw about to respond when a Samurai nobody sprung at him and attacked. Axel jumped back and tossed his chakrams into the Samurai, pulled them out, spun around, and finished it with a final slash. Axel looked at Roxas.
"We'll talk later, but for now, let's take care of the enemies!" Roxas nodded and went to work. They made quick work of the Dusks and the Shadows, the Soldiers and the Creeprs. But then came the hard part. Iron Knights and Samurai were coming relentlessly, but the two warriors would not give in. High above them, on the Twilight Town rooftops was Hayahmo, observing the keyblade wielder.
"Hmmm...He is quite the resilient one, isn't he? Very much like his other... This does breed trouble... But alas, we'll deal with him when the time comes. Good-bye, Roxas, Number Thirteen." And with that, Hayamho departed, seen by none. Roxas dealt another blow to an Iron Knight when suddenly the Heartless and Nobodies dissapeared. Roxas frowned and lowered his keyblade. He turned to Axel, who shrugged cluelessly.
"No idea man." Roxas frowned and gripped the keyblade tightly. A sudden appearance of Heartless and Nobodies that dissapear as soon as they appear... What was going on? Roxas's thoughts dispersed quickly as he sensed two new presences in Twilight Town. One had a keyblade, and the other was oddly familiar. Neither seemed like a threat, so Roxas ignored them for the moment. His first concern was to get to Sora, to Riku, to Kairi, but he knew, or rather, could feel, that they would be arriving soon.
So what was he to do now? If he was to sit and wait again, he wanted to do something in his wait. And suddenly it cae to him. The Keyblader! That new presence, currently located in the Clocktower, deifintely needed to be looked in to. Roxas looked at Axel, then motioned towards the clock tower.
"Follow me." Axel nodded and ran off behind Roxas. Roxas held his Keyblade to the side, in case they ran into trouble again. He mumbled lowly under his breath.
"What new adventure awaits?"

"Blasted candle... Gives off hardly enough light," the figure mumbled in a low, burly voice. He grabbed a book and brought it towards the light only to reveal that it had a moving mouth on the cover. He paused for a moment before sighing. "I've known you far too long to be startled by that anymore."
"A shame, a shame," giggled the grin as it fluttered off the book as two yellow eyes appeared, followed by the rest of his purple and pink striped body. He wagged his bushy tail in the face of his acquaintance before floating up in the air. The shadowed figure approached the candle, but remained with his face in shadow.
"So, you've decided to leave Wonderland for good?"
The cat said nothing, and when the figure asked again, he merely began playing with the candle's flame with his paws.
"How to you intend to find it?" The question was ambigious, but both of them understood what he was talking about. However, after being met with silence again, he chuckled. "Or is it that a magician never reveals his tricks?"
"For a magician that uses tricks, that may be so. But a true wizard keeps no secrets and only tells all truths," the cat answered, pulling his head off his shoulders and spinning it on his finger like a ball. The figure's grin was visible even in the dim candle light.
"Is that so? Well, I believe it's about time now. One of them should be arriving soon, so don't wait until it's too late."
With an odd glint in his eye, the cat's body slowly began to disappear, starting with his tail and ending with only a floating mouth that spoke in an unusually calm, straight-forward way as it slowly fell down towards the table.
"The Cheshire Cat is never late." And with that, he was gone.
Kairi awoke with a start and sat straight up. She looked around to see she was in her room. Her room was mostly neat, having just been cleaned the other day, and the window above her bed was still shut.
Nothing was out of the ordinary, except she was still in her clothes from yesterday, though she convinced herself she had just fallen asleep in them, and her blanket and bedsheets covered only her feet while the rest were strewn out on the floor. She blinked for a moment before thinking to herself that she must have kicked them off while she was asleep.
"But... I've never had a problem with moving around in my sleep before," she thought quietly to herself. And then she wondered what had awoken her so suddenly, only to be stricken with the similar feeling of bad things to come in the pit of her stomach.
She stood up quickly and stared out her window to see figures moving on the beach below. Without another word, she jumped off her bed, ran downstairs, put her shoes on and ran out the door.
"Riku, Sora... I won't be left behind again," she whispered as she ran towards the beach.
----
OOC: Hope this is alright KW. :3 I didn't know how to introduce Kairi into the fight scene, so I just made her head that way. Feel free to have her participate or watch (either is fine). As for the Cheshire Cat, he won't arrive for a while, and I won't post as him everytime. If you have any questions/thoughts/complaints about him, KW, please PM and I'll explain. :3

Falling....
Falling...
Seth looked around as he flew down he reached his legs down to feel for fotting, none. He looked around frantickly(sp?). He grasped the handle of the Keyblade in his hands. It burned, the tip felt like it was on fire.
He closed his eyes trying to relax. Still falling he began to worry.
"One Winged Angel!!!" He yelled.
Next he knew he was falling in fron tof an island, a tropical island. The beach was painted little specks of people, a speck of light in the mountains signaled there was a person there too.
Splash!
He hit the ocean hard. Floating on his back. He eventually felt th epressure of sand against his firm back. He looked up to see two kids. One who looked exactly like him and a brown haired kid.
"R-Riku! Look! That kid ljust washed up on shore!!"Yelled Brown-Spike
"He even has a Keyblade!"
EDIT: Ok I edited the appaerance X3

Asim
Going down a stone stairway; he descended into an old dungeon. Going through one rusty gate after the other, as if searching for something, alas he did not know what it was. Easing himself to a complete halt, a strange light resonated behind him.
?What do you want?? his voice was strong, but cold, and lacking the slightest hint of emotion.
?You are needed? A voice echoed in his mind.
?This so called Organization is proving it?s disorganization to me time after time?
?Pathetic? He hissed aloud.
?Would you rather be left alone in your precious ruined city to rot with your ghouls, and ghostly dragons until the end of time?? The voice questioned bitterly.
The hooded man whirled gently; his face drenched in darkness. He started to pace towards one of the walls, with his left arm outstretched. Live shadows seethed out of the palm of his hand, and started to grow; they took the shape of fully armored knights. Their garb was black, and they bore a strange symbols on their cuirasses.
The dark knights marched before their master towards the wall; a gateway was emerging. He gestured to his servants with a wave of the hand, and they effortlessly opened the seemingly heavy gates.
?Yes?? He tardily answered.
Without breaking his stride he silently went through the gateway, as the misty portal it held within seemed to swallow him.
*************************************
On a far side of the beach on Destiny islands a dark cloud was twirling about above the crashing waves. Two ghostly creatures clad in torn crimson robes crept out of the shadows and spread their bat like wings. They took flight to a certain altitude, and then plunged their bony hands into the very fabric of the skies, and ripped open a portal. Emerging form it was the same cloaked figure from Lea Monde. One of the winged beasts uttered a strange sentence in some forgotten dialect, and an ethereal staircase spread itself down to the shore.
?Rood bearer? The beasts crackled.
He continued down the stairs without a word, and upon reaching, he gestured with his left hand again; the portal and the two winged demons vanished into the night. The sound of clashing steel reached his ears. He moved towards the source of the clamor. His flowing attire and strict posture made it seem like he was gliding above the sands.
His eyes caught sight of four figures; one of them was his comrade. There was also one spiky haired boy he had not seen before, and a silver haired young man whom he had seen when he first came to this strange world. He also noted the presence of another figure floating in the ocean water. The desire to kill slumbered deep within; he had no taste for bloodshed that night.
Like a reaper from the underworld he preceded, his presence struck awe even in the heart of his comrade.
?Why did you summon me?? He asked flatly.
?You?re a member of this organization Ashley, and your presence was deemed important? The man wielding the strange key blade like weapon answered.
?Why haven?t you killed them yet? Are these children troubling you with their key toys?? Ashley asked.
?Who is this guy Riku?? The spiky haired boy asked.
?I don?t know Sora? The other answered.
?You can handle these louts on your own?? He murmured as he headed towards Sora, and Riku.
?They do have such hateful names; I can see why you want them dead?
?Hey!? Sora charged at Ashley.
A smack from Ashley sent blood gushing out of the boy?s mouth. Sora fell to the ground before even having the chance to swing his key blade. Ashley looked briefly at Riku, then continued with his slow paced walk.
?Out of my way boy, you do not want to meddle with me?
The cloaked man behind Ashley grinned for some reason.
?You?ve done well risk breaker, quench your blood thirst? He said.
?They would not be breathing now, if I had one tonight?
?I have a present for you, head for the houses and you shall find it?
Ashley moved away slowly. Sora petrified with shock stared bewilderedly at him.
**********************************
On his way to the houses on the islands he found himself drawn to a certain dwelling more than the others. He felt something calling for his soul.
Ashley hid himself in the shadows, as he sensed someone approaching. It appeared to be a girl. Something about her reminded him of the past.
She looks like?She is?Merlose?
He suddenly snapped out of the gloom, and grabbed her by the throat. His eyes scanned her face thoroughly as she squirmed to break free from his powerful grasp.
?Merlose?! Is it you?!? For the first time in what seemed to be an eternity to him he had found someone he once knew, but his manner was as harsh, and impersonal as ever.
?I am?Ka?Kairi? She struggled to speak.
?What are you saying?? He asked, as he tightened his grip.
He looked straight into her eyes; they were as blue as the sky.
?Wicked blight? You are not Merlose? He violently cast her aside.
She groped for her neck, as she coughed, and grasped for air. When Kairi looked up again, the cloaked man had disappeared.
He would observe the situation on the islands before deciding what to do.

Riku
~*~
"Wait just a damn minute!" Riku yelled towards the man running away, kneeling down beside Sora to help him up. But it was already too late... the second cloaked man had ran so fast that he couldn't find him in the darkness. He helped Sora up and growled at the first cloaked man they fought with, wielding Way To Dawn in front of his face and pointed it straight at the hooded figure with the dark blue keyblade. "You bastard.... who was that you just summoned?!" he finally said, his face angered and annoyed.
Sora had finally gotten up from his mild daze and started running to the water, looking at Riku. "Riku!! You take care of that bastard!! I'll see who this is over here!"
Riku sharply nodded and turned back to the hooded figure, ready to fight. "I don't know who the hell you think you are," he muttered, ".. but I'm not going to let you take anyone that I cherish!" He started sprinting with his weapon behind his back, ready to strike.
All the hooded figure could do is laugh and rested his right hand on his hip, his Keyblade hanging loosely. He then shifted his head upward a little, mocking Riku, finally saying, "Well... you don't even remember my voice, do you?" When Riku got into arm length, he simply lifted his Keyblade gently and blocked it easily.
Riku continued to try to get the swing through, but his face was in confusion. "Who are you?" he tried to speak, but his throat was dry. When he finally realized he couldn't break the man's block, he jumped back and swung Way To Dawn down forcefully, anger flittered all over his face. "Damn you! Just show me your face and quit hiding behind that hood!!"
The man snickered, finally putting his left hand over his black hood and removing it.... white- yellowish hair flowing down from it, a bit spikey yet straight at the top and his skin had a light tan. His face could be seen from the dim moonlight, his mouth smiling small yet handsomely. "Remember me now.... Riku?"
Riku could only stare and look at him, past memories haunting him... causing him to fall to the ground on his hands and knees, gasping for air and sweat falling from his brow. "X... Xem..."
The figure slowly walked over to Riku and picked up a sliver of his silver hair, pulling it up to his level, laughing at the speechless yet hypnotized look on Riku's face. He started slapping it hard with his hand, his expression in a mildly evil look. "Well well well... what a way to greet me." Before he could slap Riku anymore, he suddenly, he saw a young girl running towards them, her face in an angered rage.
"Xemnas!!" Kairi yelled, raising her hands and summoning her version of a weapon. "Put Riku down right now or I'll slice your hand off!"
Xemnas scoffed at her and throwing the hypnotized teen towards her, allowing her to catch him in her arms. He then put his right arm over his stomach and bowed low to her, his long white hair flowing onto the sandy and gritty ground. "It is an honor to meet you again," he then looked up at her, his face happy, "... Miss Kairi."
Kairi looked at him angrilly and then sadly back at Riku, trying to snap him out of his horrible nightmare. "Riku..." she spoke softly, trying to wake him up, "Riku... it's okay. You won't be taken away... or left alone in the darkness anymore..."
Riku didn't respond.... only just sitting up in the sand covered by her soft touch, his arms and hands laying droopily on his side. His eyes looked as if it didn't have a glow anymore... he was remembering the horrible past... his demons.
His forhead started forming more sweat... and his deep green eyes were over-flowing with blue tears.

Doublehex
Ferin stood on the clock tower, staring downward at the place that he had called home for the past seventeen years. Here was where he got his first taste of ice cream; here he made so many friends; here he got a kiss on the cheek from his first crush.
But now, no one even knows him! No one knows his birthday, or what he likes to do for fun, or all the trouble he caused! No one knows what his favorite ice cream is, or what he wants to do for his life. His mom and dad don?t even exist, his home being a junk pile that was a demolished house thirty years ago.
When he left that mansion, he came to a Twilight Town that never even knew he existed. He came to the true meaning to hell.
It would have been so easy. Just one step, just a single motion towards the edge, and all of his misery would be over. All of his pain would cease to exist. His tears would stop. His crushed heart would stop beating.
And no one would even care.
Ferin spread his arms out, as if he was ready to dive into a pool. ?It will be quick?? he assured himself. ?Don?t think about it! Don?t even blink! Finish it! Don?t care about what someone might think! Just do it!?
It almost happened. Ferin almost took his own life, a boy once full of energy of life, of such vigor and enthusiasm. Now, he was a shadow of a man, someone who couldn?t wait for his blood to be spilled. He didn?t want to live in a life where he never even existed. He didn?t want to be a nothing. He wanted to be a something?but as far as he was concerned, as long as he was alive that would never happen.
But, then something unexpected happened. Ferin never thought a mist of black would materialize around him. He never would of have guessed that that same mist would break all laws of science and have a mass to its own and push him against the wall, saving the suicide?s life. And he never would of have guessed that the mist would take the form of a man in a black cloak.
At first, Ferin was in fear. The man ? if he was even a man ? had the appearance of a god of death. Its very appearance made Ferin?s skin crawl. He wanted to say something to the enigma, but he could not say anything. But, that was all before the man talked.
?Hello.?
That one phrase, that single word, brought so much relief to Ferin. It made him feel?good inside. It told him that this would be god of death was no demon; he was not out to harm Ferin. He wanted to help him.
?W-who are you?? Ferin stuttered, more out of the shock of finding a kind soul than any sort of fear.
?A traveler who wants to help.?
?Seems an awful lot for somebody to say. Ya gotta have a lot of backbone to say something like that, buddy.?
?I have been through much, but not as much you I?m afraid.?
?You?ve got that straight?? Ferin mumbled under his breath.
A weapon materialized in the stranger?s hand, and he tossed it into Ferin?s lap. ?Take this. It will help.?
?What the hell is this??, Ferin asked as he raised the odd weapon.
?They call it ?One Winged Angel?. It?s a keyblade, in case you have not figured it out by now.?
?A keyblade??? Suddenly, the Sleeping Lion materialized in Ferin?s open palm.
?Ah, I see you already have a weapon. Well, two certainly won?t hurt.?
?Who are you??
?I am he that has been killed, and revived again, by the darkness. I am he wants to aids those who have my common enemy.?
?Who says I?m after the darkness, or whatever it is.?
?Because, I believe what they are after will tell you who you really are.? Ferin raised his stare from the new weapon, intrigued by the man?s proposition. ?Ah, I see that caught your interest. Good; it will seem that we have a common foe, am I right??
?Yeah, sure??
The cloaked man folded his arms. ?Now, it is my reason to believe that the heart of certain worlds hold the knowledge of your true identity.?
?You mean I?m not Ferin??
?You are Ferin, but not the one that you believe you are.? The man coughed before he continued. ?To unlock the knowledge of these worlds, you must unlock the gate to the hearts. Your keyblades, are the way to access that gate.?
?Hold it! I can tell there?s a price.?
?And your assumption would prove to be correct! Unlocking the gate of worlds will also the heartless to slowly consume the world, until it is nothing but darkness. And as a result, thousands of soldiers will be added to their horde.?
?I can?t do that?there?s no way I could do that??
?You?re powers as a keyblade master are not strong enough to relock these gates ? only to unlock. However, there are two who have enough powers to lock the gates.?
?Who??
?Sora and Riku, but their hearts would not even allow them to accompany you, forget about letting you risk the corruption of worlds after their own met such a dire fate.?
?What do I do then??
?You must let the worlds be corrupted.?
?But, those people will be??
?Corrupted? Yes, but good have they done to you? Nothing! They just sneered at you for being a stranger, when all you wanted was to have a home. It is equal exchange.?
?That?s not fair at all!?
?Its your choice, Ferin. I am giving you only choices, only paths to take. It is you who must choose which crossroad to follow.?
?I want to know who I am??
?Then perhaps you should consult a wise man.?
?And who would that be??
?In Radiant Garden, there are such few people. But, you do not have enough influence with their organization to arrange a meeting with them, and let?s not forget the fact that you do not even have transportation.?
?What do I do then??
?Wait, and find the influence. Patience is a virtue.?
?Riku you mean??
The man raised his chin. ?You seem to know this Riku, yes??
?I think I do??
?Your chain of memories tells you so. Riku and his allies will come here soon enough.? The man clapped his hands. ?Now, I have one more gift for you before I leave.?
?And what?s that??
?That.? The man pointed to the wall further down, where a black cloak was hung, nearly identical to the one the man was wearing. ?Sora and Riku will definitely associate with you if they see you in that.?
Ferin wasn?t exactly convinced. ?Black cloak, huh??
?Trust is the key to success. Now I must be off. Arrivederla!? And with that, a black portal consumed the man, and he was gone.
?Trust is the key to success, huh??
