[Revelation]

[size=1][color=#8B008B]With a pile of clothes in their arms and wings, Michael and Falcomon gleefully walked over towards another store when Enzeru stepped in front of them. She had her hands in her jacket pocket as she stared at the two with jaded eyes. In sudden fright, Falcomon dropped the clothes onto the ground while Michael looked over his with a frown on his face and an open mouth, only to be wiped clean by Enzeru?s abrupt words.

[B]?If you have even half the brain that most people have, you?d do well with your time to find some [i]useful[/i] things, Michael, instead of picking up unnecessary items.?[/B] As Enzeru pushed past Michael, she stopped and said, [B]?There?s a time and place for everything, even fun and games. Except,?[/B] She turned and shot darts of frustration from her eyes, [B]?I?ve no time for childish games like yours nor does anyone else. So grow up.?[/B]

With a loud sigh, Falcomon followed after his partner. Enzeru was already halfway across the mall when Falcomon landed beside her and walked with her in silence. As the two walked, she suddenly stumbled onto an accessory store. For a moment Enzeru became dazzled by a necklace in the window display but shook her head and walked on. Falcomon looked at Enzeru then to the item she was fascinated by yet he followed after his partner, instead of walking into the store and grabbing it for her.

[B]?You should apologize to him, Angel.?[/B] Falcomon stopped with his wings on his hips.

As if it were rehearsed, Enzeru turned and faced her digimon partner with arms crossed and replied, [B]?And exactly what should I apologize for??

?For being so mean! You didn?t need to be so mean, y?know??[/B]

Enzeru found it almost humorous how Falcomon was defending Michael. [B]?Is that what you call being blunt nowadays: being mean? Well...then I guess it?s not my fault if he couldn?t handle my being ?mean?.?

?And I guess it?s not my fault you couldn?t handle my wanting to look good.?[/B]

Falcomon turned to see Michael and Ryuudamon standing with the pile of clothes. Enzeru scoffed and rolled her eyes at the sight of the two. Michael returned the expression with a smirk on his face.[/size][/color]

[size=1][color=teal]Tristan looked down at the small pile of food that he and Flamon were responsible for collecting, though calling it food was a very generous description he thought given that it mostly consisted of power bars and other snacks. He exchanged a look with Flamon which just received a shrug and a smirk.[/color]

[color=darkred][b]?Well its not like we can carry EVERYTHING we?ll need is it??[/b][/color] [color=teal]Flamon said, in truth it had been the reasoning behind Tristan?s choice of food. Things that could be easily carried and provided them with energy. [b]?Yeah, you?re right. Though I don?t think whats-her-name, Quincy, will be happy with it after she snapped at you before.?[/b] Again the two of them just shrugged and gathered up what they?d collected in their arms and went to find the other two. Stephen and Swimmon had been marginally more successful in their search but it still wasn?t what you?d call good meal material.

[b]?Hrn, well lets hope the others have had more success than we have.?[/b] Quincy said in a disinterested tone.[/color]

[color=blue][b]?Yeah, lets hope. We should use the Digivices to see how they?re getting on.?[/b][/color] [color=teal]Swimmon suggested, everyone turned and looked at him with arched eyebrows.[/color] [color=blue][b]?You did know that the Digivices could be used to communicate right??[/b][/color] [color=teal]The fish Digimon said with a look of surprise. Swapping exasperated looks both Tristan and Quincy took their D-Es out of their pockets and asked Swimmon for instructions on how to activate the communication system.

After about half an hour of sorting through everything they?d acquired the Digidestined and their Digimon took stock on their supplies. All in all Alex and Kazuki had had the most success with their discovery of a camping store where they found a lot of sealed instant meals and several backpacks to carry their supplies.

Mike and Enzeru however seemed to be at odds with each other as Mike had got somewhat distracted with a clothes store he had come across and the two of them had been acting quite cold toward each other since they?d come back. Straightening his goggles as he checked the last of the bags Tristan turned to say something to Flamon but found that he wasn?t by his side. Going around the group he asked them if they?d seen where he?d gone and it was KoKabuterimon who said that he?d seen him looking around the stairway down into the basement.

As he made his way over to the stairs Tristan began to here an odd buzzing sound which was coming from the stairway. Before he?d made it half way there Flamon came running out at some speed, crashing into Tristan.[/color]

[color=darkred][b]?Heh, no time to talk! We?ve gotta get out of here right now!?[/b][/color] [color=teal]Flamon said hurriedly and louder than usual to be heard over the rising buzzing sound. Giving him an accusatory glare Tristan was about to ask him what he?d done before he saw a swarm of large bee like Digimon rushing out of the stairwell straight for the Digidestined. He didn?t even need to shout a warning to the others because they had become as interested by the sound, coming over to investigate.

They all turned and ran at full speed for the exit, the supplies laying forgotten on the floor and Swimmon giving a hurried description of what was chasing them.[/color] [color=blue][b]?Oh dear, these are Fanbeemon. I hope you didn?t annoy them too much Flamon because their Gear Stinger attack packs quite a punch.?[/b][/color]

[color=teal][b]?Swimmon, shut up and keep going!?[/b] Stephen yelled at him.

[i]?And to think, I was starting to like it around here.?[/i] Tristan thought as he ran.

[b]OOC:[/b] I?ll leave it up to the rest of you to decide when we start fighting them but as long as some one manages to introduce a Waspmon (Fanbeemons champion form) I?ll be happy. Glad to see that we?re back in action guys ^_^.[/color][/size]

[font=Lucida Sans Unicode][size=2]Alex ran from the Fanbeemon, with KoKabuterimon close by his feet, his tiny arms and legs pumping furiously to keep up with the rest. Alex reached down and scooped up the little Digimon with his right hand and deposited him on his own broad shoulders. He increased his speed, his arms pumping, his leg muscles straining. He'd never been much of a runner if he was really honest with himself.[/size][/font]

[font=Lucida Sans Unicode][size=2]He took a chance look back over his shoulder, and saw the bee-like creatures closing in on them. Sweat began to dribble down his forehead, and tiny droplets of salty liquid dripped into his eyes, stinging them and causing him to blink uncontrollably. As he opened his eyes, and the haze cleared, he saw the Fanbeemon had all but caught up with them.[/size][/font]

[font=Lucida Sans Unicode][size=2][b]"Guys," [/b]he shouted forward, [b]"I'm not sure we can keep running from them!"[/b][/size][/font]

[font=Lucida Sans Unicode][size=2][b]"Alex is right!"[/b] Tristan replied from the head of the pack, [b]"They're too fast for us. We've gotta find some way to lose them!"[/b][/size][/font]

[font=Lucida Sans Unicode][size=2][b]"The elevator!" [/b]yelled Kazuki, [b]"If we get in the elevator before they get to us then we should be able to lose them!"[/b][/size][/font]

[font=Lucida Sans Unicode][size=2][b]"Too far," [/b]panted Stephen, [b]"And in the opposite direction. We'd have to go through the swarm to get to the elevator. Kind of defeats the point, doesn't it?"[/b][/size][/font]

[font=Lucida Sans Unicode][size=2][b]"Then we need to get outside, into an open space. That way we have the best chance of fighting them off!" [/b]Kazuki suggested.[/size][/font]

[font=Lucida Sans Unicode][size=2][b]"I thought that's what we were doing," [/b]said Quincy, apparently disinterested in the creatures following them. The group sprinted towards the exit, and the seven humans and seven Digimon burst into the open, the cool air wafting against their faces as they scrambled to their feet, their shoes slapping against concrete.[/size][/font]

[font=Lucida Sans Unicode][size=2][b]"Alex," [/b]said KoKabuterimon a little nervously, [b]"I'm not sure I want to fight these things. They seem kinda scary to me."[/b][/size][/font]

[font=Lucida Sans Unicode][size=2][b]"It's ok, KoKabuterimon," [/b]the giant of a man replied softly, [b]"You don't have to fight if you don't want to."[/b][/size][/font]

[font=Lucida Sans Unicode][size=2][b]"Fat lot of good that's gonna do us!" [/b]shouted Mike, [b]"Here they come!"[/b][/size][/font]

[font=Lucida Sans Unicode][size=2]With a crash, the doors of the mall burst outwards off their hinges, flying to either side of the DigiDestined, and the Fanbeemon swarmed towards the group at high speed, their stingers outreached for the attack...[/size][/font]

[COLOR=Navy]Kazuki ran, panting lightly as she risked a glance back to see the Fanbeemon gaining on the group. She turned head on, continuing to run with the others until the last moment where they were forced to confront the enemies. Their feet slapped on the concrete, hitting grass and continuing.

[B]"We can't keep this up, they're gonna catch us!"[/B] Quincy shouted, breath coming out in huffing pants.

[B]"We should just face 'em and get this over with."[/B] Michael suggested.

They skidded to a stop and turned to face their foe head on, the Digimon rushing forward to meet them except for KoKabuterimon who stayed atop Alex's shoulders. Tristan pulled out his Crystal and Digivice, he took a firm stance and called out the words,

[center][B]"Elemental Digivolution, Engage!"[/B]

He brought his hands forward and moved them together so the head of the Digivice was pointed toward the Crystal, where the Crystal was promptly absorbed into the Digivice. He felt the energy building and cupped his now empty hand over the device and felt the intense heat rolling off it in waves and pointed it at Flamon. A burst of red energy shot out from the head of the Digivice and engulfed the Digimon in flames.

[b]"Flamon, Elemental Digivolve to.......Infernodramon, the Flames of Fortitude!"[/b][/center]

The evolved Digimon emerged and burst forward in the direction of the Fanbeemon, with the other Digimon partners behind him.

Kazuki watched as Lucemon charged onward with strong flaps from his wings to propel him. Falcomon, Ryuudamon, Kotemon, and Swimmon were on the move as well, throwing ranged attacks as they drew closer.

The Fanbeemon dodged most of the attacks, flying up higher before diving down at an incredible speed, stingers outreached, aimed for the Digimon below.

Infernodramon reared his head back, [B]"Dragon Blaze!"[/B] as he released a a strong burst of flame that fried a large group of the oncoming Fanbeemon.

Kazu watched all the Digimon, worried about their safety, and the safety of the group, because if their partners let some through they would no doubt be attacked. She heard the call of [b]"Grand Cross"[/b] and knew that Lucemon was doing his best.

The majority of the partners used their projectile attacks because the Fanbeemon used their flying advantage to stay out of range, though those that could fly gave chase as best as they could.

Alex just held onto KoKabuterimon as they watched the action unfolding before them. There was no pressure of any sort from anyone for KoKabuterimon to join in the fight. Everyone had a choice of what to do, and that was to be respected.

Kazuki could see Lucemon flying around, mainly working on using his ability to fly just to knock the Fanbeemon from the sky to the waiting partners below who couldn't fly and would take them out.

Infernodramon ripped out large chunks of the army of bees, but they seemed endless, constantly coming. But then again regular bee colonies were made up of millions, so it kinda made sense that it could transfer, even if they were just a little oversized.

Angel suddenly narrowed her eyes and turned her head. Stephen immediately asked her what was the matter but she hushed him swiftly. It appeared that she was listening for something.

[B]"There's something bigger coming..."[/B]

[b]"Bigger? As in a larger army?"[/b] Quincy questioned.

All of them looked at each other, not knowing what it was. But the best bet was that it wouldn't be good either way. Then they could all hear what Angel had seemed to before them, a higher pitched buzzing than the Fanbeemon, and louder. Suddenly the Fanbeemon started to buzz at a higher pitch, yet still not the same as the new sound. The source of the sound was revealed as a new Digimon flew in.

[B]"Waspmon! Watch out, its Turbo Stinger hurts more than Fanbeemon's Gear Stinger."[/B] Swimmon commented.[/COLOR]

[B]OOC:[/B] Bleh, post sucks. I'm rusty. Tried to involve a number of characters and stuff but doing it when I'm kinda tired. The comment by Swimmon sounds weird...
