Back story

In this modern world there are beings other than humans. Each being has different qualities that define it. Each has special abilities. The first is the hybrid, able to convert from an animal form to a partial-human form. Sadly some of its animal features show on its human form and its odd animal form gives it away as a hybrid. The second is the angel who is divided into two groups; The Alliance and the Fallen. The alliance abides by the angel?s laws while the Fallen are traitors to their kind. The third, Werewolves, are humans cursed with the unwilled ability to transform into a monstrous wolf. Though, with enough training can tap into this ability and control it to their will. Fourth, the vampire can only walk in the night and must drink the blood of living mortals to survive. They have extraordinary strength and power far greater than any human.

The angel Alliance has convinced most humans that all other beings and the fallen are a threat to human life. Some Humans, in fear of losing the power they have, have become slayers. The hybrids, vampires, werewolves, and fallen angels have been forced to the lowest pits of the modern world. They rely on various, cruel jobs such as thievery, assassination and street fighting to stay alive. Many beings have been forced to kill each other and over generations have gained strife and hold grudges against each other. All sides have traitors and all sides have a story.

A Slayers job is to destroy enemy beings. An assassin is paid to kill anything or anyone. A thief steels things for its own survival or for money. A Street-fighter fights so it will get money from the fights they win and the others they beat. If one is to lose this battle the penalty is death. An alliance angel allies humans. But is the alliance all that true? Is it all that good? Or are they just manipulating weak beings into doing what they want?

Plot

Ok here I will discuss various regulations for my rp.
1) No killing other players w/o permission.
2) No controlling other?s characters w/o permission.
3) All replies must be at least 2 paragraphs.
4) Please try and make things contemporary.

6) Stay away from the silent but strong characters. They bother me.

Name and pronunciation: Burden Riverrs (Ber-Den Rivers)
Breed: fox hybrid

Weapons: Burden wears a pair of finger-less gloves with spikes on each knuckle. She also carries two hidden daggers with her.
Special abilities: She can disguise herself temporarily and can use a power called fire fist which can both burn and strike the foe. Last she can create a shield like aura in front of her. Burden loses energy each time her techniques are used. Her strength and running speed are slightly enhanced, along with her hearing and sense of smell.
Appearance: Burden is about 5?6 with a slim figure. She has gray eyes and shoulder-length dirty blonde hair with gray fox ears tipped with black on either side of her head. Burden has a gray fox tail also tipped in black adorning her lower back. She wears a skin-tight navy blue and dark red, broad striped collared tee shirt with black Tripp® jeans from Hot Topic. She also wears a pair of finger-less gloves with spikes above each knuckle and a black spiked choker necklace. Her fox form is a German shepherd sized gray fox with feet and ears tipped with black and 2 tails also tipped with black. A spiked choker around its neck and black thorn-like spikes protruding from the knuckles of its front paws.

history: she was abandoned as a pup when she was ten and became a wondering street fighter. She fell in love with a fallen angel at the age of 14. Her love died for her when she was 16. She vowed never to love again and to destroy the angel alliance for killing her love. Was held prisoner by slayers until she was 18 and escaped to resume her life as a wandering fighter.
Personality: Burden is emotionless and cold. She has a hot temper and tends to be very cynical. She prefers to live alone and travel alone. Burden loves to fight and will do anything to get into a fight with a strong opponent.

Breed: Vampire
Age: Young, but uncertain of the factual age

Occupation: Thief
Weapons: She carries a long, heavy black cane. A small blade is cocealed within it.
Special abilities:Her senses are highly accute compared to those of normal beings. Her eyes are so advanced, they can see beyond the dark and can easily hypnotize. Her speed reaches such great numbers that if you saw her casually brush her shoulder, you might swear that you only saw a flash of color.
Appearance. Felix is an albino. She has soft, nape-length white hair that falls partially over the right side of her face. Her eyes are a weak, sicklly pink and her skin is deathly pale. Her fangs are shaped like those of a snake and curl slightly over her bottom lip. She stands barely under six feet and has a thin, lanky body. She is most often seen wearing a three-piece pinstripe suit and heavy black boots.
Pets (optional):A large black crow, named Jerille.
History: Felix has unknown origins. She herself doesn't quite remember where she came from or how she came to be. In the past years, however, she has been living alone, picking off the dregs of humanity.
Personality: Felix is mysterious and dark; a slightly Gothic air is about her. She enjoys toying with people and having fun at others' expense. Despite her shadowing aura, she is rather flirtacious and dandy.

[B]Special abilities:[/B] He is very skilled at controling his transformation, so skilled that he can cause himself to not transform on nights with a full moon. He can control his metabolic rate so he can speed up the healing process, however this takes a lot of energy from him so that he needs to rest afterwards. Also, he retains a small amount of his werewolf speed and strength when not transformed.
[B]Appearance:[/B] His hair is blonde and is trimmed short and neat. He has deep blue eyes and is incredibly handsome. He is about six feet and is of average build. He wears black pants, black dress shoes, a white shirt, and a black suit jacket. All his clothes are very well kept and look very nice.

[B]history: [/B]The Maxels were a very rich family. They also had a dark secret - they family were werewolves and had been back for ten generations. However, the Maxels taught their children how to control their werewolf transformation from a very young age and so they kept their secret hidden well. Growing up, Bret was kept inside all of the time because he was still learning how to control his transformation. He didn't go outside his house until the age of 15. But in this time he was taught a great deal in the fields of education, werewolf control, fighting, and common sense. He became an assassin at the age of 18, wanting to see the world and not caring about the pay.
[B]Personality:[/B] Bret is well-mannered and polite. He takes care not to reveal his true ancestery to anyone. He has a habbit of wondering and he atributes this to spending the first 15 years of his life in one house.

Personality: She is a heartless girl who cares for no one and will do anyting to kill someone for whatever reason. She can act sweet to just lighten the mood when she's on an assignment. [/COLOR]

[B]Personality[/B]: He is a very quiet and stoic man, he runs on bravado, when needed, has very little humor, due to the fact that he, is a straight to the point kind of guy. He becomes paranoid if a suspicious person gets close to him, and will take according actions to eradicate them.

She grew up in the most poverty-stricken slums and learned that the most important thing in her life was to fight. To earn money to live. She doesn't make friends easily, as she seems kind of scary. She gets mad easy, but will normally walk away before fighting without profit.
[B]Personality:[/B] Loney seems very scary and cold, but she is normally just very shy, but no one can tell by her outward, "I'ma get j00!" attitude. SHe is very outward with people she wants to be with and shy with those the likes. Makes most people very confused. SHe doesn't know how to love, due to her rough and tumble upbringing, so should something like that happen she'd most likely appear confused, and do what seems riht at the time. [B]Weapons:[/B] Tayu has, a lage assortment of fire arms including such guns as: 2x customized silverballer pistols; a dragunov sniper rifle; a customized WA2000 sniper rifle; a M82A1 SASR sniper rifle; a PSG1 sniper rifle; 2x usi sub-machine guns; and a customized 12-gauge shotgun; and many others.

[B]Special Abilities:[/B] Tayu has enhanced vision in darkness, and veary long ranged and clear vision in all other light conditions. He also has increased speed and strength. The most powerfull of Tayu's abilities is the ability to sence where any specific person is to the centimeter, this heps him greatly in his proffession.

[B]Appearence:[/B] Tayu wears a large white trench coat, in wich he carries all of his guns, assembled or otherwize. Under his coat he has a black vest. He wears white dress pants and black cargo boots. The way his ensanble works in conjunction with itself, makes him seem veary official at first sight, but if he ever takes off his coat you can see he has large black feathered wings.

[B]Pets:[/B] he carries a small yet ressiliant gray rat in his coat. to remind him of what he has lost.

[B]History:[/B] Tayu has always had a talent for killing. He grew up in a dark shady nabourhood, with slayers all around him. He dealt with the horror of living surrounded by death, by becomeing the biggest causer of death in the area.

At about the age of 15 he met a fox hybrid named Burden, and they fell in love. He stayed with heralways and cherished every second he spent with her. On thier two year anaversary. There home was attacked by a large group of slayers. And Tayu sacrificed himself to save his love, just as the slayers charged in he ordered Burden to run for her life. So he could hold them off alone.

As Tayu was fighting off the brunt of the group the captain in charge of it ran away, figuring that Burden was far enough away to be safe he let a few slayrs go after her in order to chase and catch the captain. Shortly after Tayu was out of the building the slayers he left behind set explosives. Tayu of coarse caught the captain and killed him for ruining his annaversary.

Thinking that Tayu was still in the building when it blew up Burden thaught he was dead. the slayers that followed Burden called for lots of back-up. They eventually caught her and held her prisoner. So, when Tayu went back looking for her he found nothing. And thought she was dead too.

He is currently one of the best assassins around,and he has a thing for sniper rifles.Making him veary hard to catch after a kill. After the loss of his only love, he also lost all emotion, now he rarely feels anything other that hatred. He hasn't given up the search for Burden but, to survive he'll kill anyone for any ammount of money.

[B]Personality:[/B] Before the elleged death of his true love, he was a veary open and happy person, always speaking his mind and making jokes. But now, he hates anything and everything in the world, and won't hessitate to kill an inocent person...for the right price.

bodhidharma, you're saying your chatracter carrys that many guns on him? Come-on, that number of weapons on one person is ridiculus (heck, the idea of carrying 4 rifles alone is ridiculus.) And you're saying he can carry even more? That's just tacky.

And besides, guns make fighting boring.

ok minus the "and many others" but the ones that I've listed yes. All of the rifles are disassembled, and in pockets as is the shotgun. And his pistols and uzi's are in holsters.

The rifle parts are spred out threw out the coat evenly. So that greatly deminishes the direct weight and bulkyness. On top of that all of my rifles use light weight frames to make them, and my coat even less heavy. And my character is a fallen,making him stronger than a human. And he's an assassin, he's used to carrying around guns and fighting. A few rifles in a trech aren't gunna effect him much.

Well Tayu can take his coat off, it's not attached to him. It's just a coat.Infact he often takes his coat off, when he's engaging in close combat fights. Or he may use a barrel or other peice of a rifle as a make-shift weapon.

History: he was born angel at first that before he was bite by some weird mysterious creature that gave him his powers of the neo angel, he was banned for the angels and forever to spend all his life in the lower parts of the city at the age of 15, five years later the streets know him as the best around. Appearance: Andy is 5' 8", with blue eyes, and a medium build. Her hair is deep dirty blonde, almost brown, and very curly and fluffy. Her eyes are a sea green color, almost turquoise. She usually wears jeans, black boots, and a tight fitting t-shirt. Her wings are a white color, with a hint of red. She doesn't try to hide her wings, because she's very proud that she's a fallen.

Personality: Andy is a sarcastic person, and isn't afraid to show it. She'll make fun of anyone, about anything, anytime. But, Andy also has a sweet side. But she only shows it when she's trying to make someone jealous.
History: She was born into a family of aristocrats, they raised her until she was 5 when they were all killed, by a group of ravinous assassins. That's the exact moment Andy became a fallen, from then on she loved to kill, it was one of her only joys in life.
She had an affinity for daggers and liked that she could kill with a flick of her wrist.
Andy began killing for money and became the veary type of criminal that killed her family.
Now she's a slightly twisted individual, although she kills for a living, she still has a habit of belittling others. and toying with her targets
Special abilities: Andy has super fast reflexes, allowing her to throw her knives, before her opponent can react. She also has a knack for jumping and climbing, which enables her to attack her enemies from above.[/FONT][/COLOR][/B]
