ChibiHorsewoman
Hey, I don't know who remembers or wants to remember the last time I started a thread about momentary lapses in memory with nearly the same title. But I'm doing it again! Why you may ask? Because I can't help but seem ditzy at the worst times. My most recent Jessica Simpson moment was this past Thursday when I was grocery shopping. I was in the produce section and went to weigh something on one of the scales. I don't know how the scales in other grocery stores are, but in this one chain here instead of just being a regular scale, when you weigh the produce you key in the product code or whatever and the scale will print out a sticker with the price and UPC code to place on the bag so you save time at the cash register. Well anyways when I went to press print the scale was out of labels so I went up to one of the people in produce and instead of telling the guy that the scale was out of paper I said that the weigh thingy is out of paper. How sad is that? So how about the rest of you? Forget something simple and are willing to share? Please?
pooperson
I've forgotten my own name before. I merged my frist and last name to write "Martolins". That was pretty interesting. Sometimes I forget how to swallow. THAT'S NOT FUN!!!!! Also, there's this movie - I don't know what it's called - but for the longest time I called it "Kotex" (that's what I thought it was!!!!). Then I found out that Kotexes are tampons... oops. I ALWAYS forget how old I am. That's because I'm younger than everyone else in my grade. And one time, I sincerely thought that I was a guy. But I was sleep-deprived & the logic made sense... it's a long story. But since then, I HAVEN'T FORGOTTEN!!!!!

Horendithas
I swear Charles, you are like the picture God of the Internet. I must not look hard enough as I never seem to run into the images you post. Oh and by the way. I don't know whether to cringe over your new signature banner or just die from laughter. ;) As for the topic (since I don't have a nifty picture) my Jessica Simpson moment would have been earlier this year when I forgot that it was spring break. I got up, got ready for school and it wasn't until I got to campus and saw how empty the place was that I remembered that I had no school. I wasted a perfectly good chance to sleep in. ChibiHorsewoman
Okay here's more proof that the time I fell off a horse and hit my head did some serious damage. I call my friend in Oregon and then think I dialed the wrong number when he picks up the phone. I constantly ask, is Tom there, did I get the wrong number? Once he almost hung up on me because I had him convinced I got the wrong number. No seriously I do this on a regular basis. I even check the caller ID while the phone is ringing. But in my defense I have a reason to wonder if I dialed the wrong number because once when I called I was off by one number and someone who sounded like my friend answered the phone. Gavin
Interesting, most interesting. Thankful for me I don't have too many of these Jessica Simpson moments, mostly involving having no idea what day it is, which is pretty common and annoying if you want to watch something on TV. However the most recent of these JS moments for me has to belong to me younger brother Dave, I asked him what time it was about half an hour ago, he looked as his digital watch and told me fourteen o'clock. Ezekiel
I don't have many of these moments any more, thankfully, but I do have brainfarts occasionally, which cause me to say things like, "Did you know...if the clouds weren't there, the sky would be clear?" My friend Natalie is very blonde, and has said some fantastic things. Like "I can't spell the alphabet." and "Ow! My phone." after hitting it on a desk. She also amused our whole maths class when someone asked where the two had gone (as in: why is it not in the equation any more?) and Natalie pointed to the board, at a two, and goes "It's right there..." She's a very clever girl, just a bit silly. >> @ Gavin: Vegeta banners, snap!
Riku
I don't have that many Jessica Simpson moments any more... at least not everyday. >.> But, that doesn't mean that they haven't stopped... Like one time, I asked my sister what four plus five was... and all she did was give me a strange look. Even for the most simplest math problems, for some reason, I just have to use a calculator to make sure it's right. I would have to say the most recent moment would be when my sister and I were at the grocery store, buying and looking at all the different versions of apples. I looked at all of them, thinking to myself, "If it's called a Granny Smith apple... did someone named Granny Smith grow them?" Then, realizing what a random yet stupid thought it was, I slapped my forehead and continued with my shopping. Yes, Simpson moments happen to the best of us... even when you think it's a great idea. ^^;
Anakoni Stark
I have a rather nasty tendancy to forget things, like: my own name my age what today's date is what I've done during the course of a day [which happens frequently] Sometimes I do compeletly the opposite of what posted signs say: sign: DO NOT TOUCH Fury: *touch* *alarm goes off* or sign: PULL Fury: *push* why isnt it opening?! I also have a bad tendency to forget what I'm going to put down on lists, like this one. - Fury

Ikillion
You know when I thinkg about it I really don't have that many Jessica Simpson momnets, its more like hours or days or something like that. Like I remember this one time, maybe a couple of weeks ago. I was convinced through some reasoning that I was a year younger than I really was. It took me all day but my mom eventually showed my my Birth Certificate. Yet then I apparently couldn't add for some reason until my mom had to do it for me once more. Goodness I still wonder how I was about to come up with something like that.
Pumpkin
I can definately understand those dumb blonde moments since sometimes I can say the dumbest things, sadly I can't remember all of them. There was a moment recently where I was talking to a guy friend about guys and he told me I had the 'pick of many straws' (pretty much that guys would be lining up if I were single) and I must have not got it since I asked 'straws filled with what?' it's moments like those that people have begun to call 'katie' moments.
"Ow! My phone." after hitting it on a desk.
I always seem to say "Ow" when something makes a large noise...I have no clue as to why, natural reaction maybe? So yes I can definately relate to that one.

Heck, my dad will yell "Ow!" in the other room before anyone comes in and smacks him for saying something stupid. He'll say it if he knows it's coming :P I'm blonde too. It's not Jessica's fault. We're born that way ;) Haha, just kidding, but not really.
Aaryanna
My moment was earlier this summer when I forgot about the screen door having a glass panel in it. You see I was going to a movie with both SunfallE and Mariskah and I was pretty excited and wound up. So when they arrived to pick me up, my mom opened the door and I just ran and put both hands out in front of me to just push the screen door out of the way. I was going fast enough that instead of the door opening like it usually does, my hands went right through the glass pane altogether. I felt really stupid and then disappointed since I figured I would be grounded for breaking the door, but my mom was just relieved that in spite of breaking the glass I didn?t get a scratch on my hands or arms. So I still got to go and see the movie. I don?t know what I was thinking though. I?ve never pushed the door open while running before. I definately was not thinking when I did that.
