Anime When would you end the series?

Hey everyone i was watching some old episodes of pokemon you know when it was at it's glory days you know the kanto league when all this gets started now personally pokemon was great series. but i would ended it after the johto league for while then brought it back with something new but of couse we all know thats not how the series went. pokemon popularity run out because they would never put the show on hold for a little while plus i think the series got to big for it's own good. i think they should end pokemon after this final version where ash is taking on the kanto league central brain gyms. what do you think about this. :rolleyes:

My vote goes to Getbackers it had quite possibly the worst second half of an anime ive ever seen. They did a halfassed job especially compraed to the manga counterpart. It should have ended after the IL arch .They should have ended it if they werent going to put any effort into the rest of the series.

[SIZE=1]I would've ended Rurouni Kenshin after the completion of the second arc. Or rather, I would have at least put production on-hold until the RK manga was complete; I don't think a break could have hurt RK's viewership nearly as much as those fillers did.[/SIZE]

[COLOR=SeaGreen]I wouldn?t have ended the series, but a number of the Sailor Moon seasons are just loaded with tons of filler episodes that aren?t in the manga. Probably at least thirty percent of the show is nothing but filler that not only goes no where, but makes the scouts looks completely stupid and unable to figure anything out on their own. It?s like they practically have to have something bite them on the rear before they realize, oh that?s the enemy. Or how Usagi always needs to be reminded to deal the final blow. It got really old.

So though I wouldn?t end it, I would have loved to trim out the excess fat that was turning a perfectly good anime into a joke. [/COLOR]

i would end a series when it wasn't as popular as it used to be and there werent as many veiwers also i would end it after i ve done so many versions of the show.

There have been times in the show were the nearly killed Naraku but he has gotten away or something. Not only that, but it is so obvious that Kagome and Inuyasha like each other. Bleh. I like the show has gone over board just repeating the same thing over and over again. Been a while since I've posted in this section of OtakuBoards, anyway to get back on point, I'd end have ended the Dragonball franchise after DBZ, from what I've read and seen of Dragonball GT, the whole series is a complete let down and really does erode a lot of the quality that DBZ built up. I mean the who premise of the series is utter crap as there's no way Kami and Piccolo would simply have "forgot" they created the Black Star Dragonballs.

Most of the Sagas are terrible as well, Super 17 because from what I recall by the Majin Buu Saga, 17 had turned good, thus there's little reason for him to turn evil just to suit Gero. And Bebi, well let's not even start there. Finally for the Evil Dragon Saga, or whatever the hell it was called, well the whole lame *** idea of Shenron spawning something even more powerful than two SSJ4 warriors is a complete load. It's a shame really, DBZ built up a great platform and GT knocked it down.[/SIZE]

It all depends on the money issues with popularity and the actors. A series would probably end with all the main characters fight to the end just like in Gundam Seed. That's just one way though. There could be thousands maybe even more ways on how to end an anime series.
