Writing A Poem

A Vampire's Calling

Deep in the wood a faint cry is made
Then one by one the dead begin to fade.
The scent of their past grope in the light
Silently they fall as they lost the fight.

Time to leave and be born again
The whin of half-dead and of sin.
Chase after your dream of lit it slip away?
For the game of your life has come into play.

Blood has been shed on the frozen battle ground,
Tears of the children haven't been found,
Traces of lif are dimly shown
And the beating of an army being grown.

Falling to their end, their hearts turn black
Will God or the Devil pick up the slack.
Theses lost souls have nothing to give.
They have been taken, they no longer live.

"Help me!" That's what the faint cry has said
"Free me I no longer wish to be dead."


Please tell what you think of this and I would really love to read some from you guys. I don't really get to do this much and my faimly thinks all my poetry is too morbit and don't care to give me any feedback.
