Okay, so these past few weeks I have been talking to my friends a lot about hair. That would make sense -- I'm almost 16 years old, I'm female... it's a common topic. However, my usual topic of conversation pertaining to hair is not how long someone spent straightening theirs or what kind of shampoo they use... My normal conversation follows the question:
"What color is your hair?"
Yes. I get asked that. EVERY SINGLE DAY. And you see my avatar in the corner... you can't really tell what color it is.
So my questions for you are these:

1 ~ What is your NATURAL hair color/colors?
2 ~ Have you ever dyed your hair? If so, what color[s]?
3A ~ If you have, do you regret it? Has it damaged your hair?
3B ~ If you haven't, do you want to?
4 ~ Are you satisfied with your current hair color?
5 ~ What is your favorite style for your hair? [[long, short, bangs, etc]]

Here are my answers:

1 ~ It changes on its own. I was looking through old pictures today, and it was originally blonde, but it has wavered between blonde & brown.
2 ~ Yes. Too many times to count. The first time, I highlighted it light blonde. From there, it became several shades of brown or blonde.
3 ~ Sometimes I regret it. But for now, I like it because it truly is an undistinguishable color, and that's pretty cool!
4 ~ For the most part. It's reddish now, which is pretty cool. It matches the clothes I wear [[earth tones]].
5 ~ I like my hair long, no bangs. I like to straighten it sometimes, but when I let the wind do its work, my hair is curly-ish. I like that, too.
6 ~ I like for boys' hair to be medium length or short, and preferably blonde or brown. Ironically, I don't like it when they dye it. :sweat:

2: Yes. The box said "Medium Golden Brown" but it turned out like a butterscotch pudding color and sort of reddish.

4:My butterscotch is starting to fade, so my hair looks sort of fake and...streak-y.
But its okay...
5:I really like when I can get side bangs to work, but generally I pull it up into a half-finshed ponytail or dry it straight with side bangs.

2.) Yes I have, multiple times. Usually a darker shade of red. But when I was pregnant I got hi-lites

4.) Kind of, but not really. I think when I have the money again I might dye it again. Or hi light it.

[COLOR=Navy]My natural hair colour is brown with brown, blonde, and red highlights. No I have never died it nor do I plan to in fear of destroying my natural highlights. I am very satisfied with my hair colour/or colours. I am not to sure what my favourite hairstyle is exactly as I only had hair either as short as my shoulders or as long as my waist. I usually do not like bangs because they are a pain to curl. I may cut my hair in a way so that my hair is parted on the side with bangs cut unevenly.

As for the opposite sex, it depends on the shape of their face. But, I mostly prefer just enough hair to play with to shoulderwidth/waist length hair[/COLOR].

I prefer to have longer hair(past my shoulders) because you can do some much with longer hair(put it in a bun, braid it, ponytail etc.). I however hate bangs. I've tried to have bangs but I found them too annoying.

Nah. It was fun to see it, and it's a good memory. It never damaged my hair. My mom studied cosmetics in school, so she did it for me, and made sure nothing bad happened with it.

Doesn't really matter to me. I've had it with going on look, so personality means much more about a girl for me now. I neve really cared about hair color, because I could basically find beauty in any lady. Though I do have a thing for long hair, if that counts. Ok, I know I'm a guy, so it might seem odd that I'm posting here. But my mom is a cosmitologist (SP?), so I grew up around hair. And no, I'm not gay.

1 ~ My natural hair color is sand-blonde, but it is changing to brown slowly.
2 ~ Yeah, I dyed my hair once. I went pitch Black. I went so black, you couldn't see my hair at night. ^_^
3 ~ I almost regreted dying my hair, as it wasn't as soft while it was dyed than it was before. But my hair is back to normal, and as soft as ever.

My natural hair color is brown with blonde highlights. They make it all shiney, which I like. I'm perfectly happy with my hair color as it is and I doubt I'll ever dye it.

And as I said, I have long hair which is nice and straight, and I wear it tied back into a ponytail. Nothing fancy, but I like it. And I pull it [i]all[/i] back into the ponytail, so no bangs; I don't like it getting in my face, and it makes it simpler to trim.

My hair looks black from afar but really is dark brown with a few strands of red here and there. It's also slightly sun-bleached and makes me look like I lead a really exciting life. It's a messed up color, yes, but it matches my eyes and complexion really well! Not everyone has this kind of hair color so I like it very much.

I've yet to dye my hair ("virgin hair", as celestialcharm put it :P) 'cause I'm wary of the fact that dyeing will ruin the wonderful hair texture I have (think BLEACH's Matsumoto Rangiku). My hair's a bit straight near the roots and comes down in waves and nice big curls, and it's got those neat side-swept bangs that stereotypical vamps have. I love this cut so much that I cannot think of a cut that'll suit me more.

Guys with long hair are headturners. They're the reason why I love windy days; seeing them tuck a lock of hair behind an ear or run a hand through their hair is really precious. I never did like guys who put hair gum or those with hair that look like stubble.

I have always been known for being a boy with overly long hair, usually unkempt and naturally frizzy. My hair is what meakes me me, essentially.

2 ~ I tried to dye my hair streaks of blue, but it was unsuccesfull

4 ~ No. I want blue streaks... and it might look cooler is my hair was black as well/

And I have slutty hair. I've been dying my hair in one way or another since I was in ninth grade so my hair has been around the block a few times. I've either gotten the red out of a box, gotten it professionally done or gotten hi-lights from a friend.

But right now funds are low since I have to get my car back on the road and I haven't dyed it since the beginning of June so what you see in the picture is my natural color.[/color][/font]
