The following round is a 4 versus 4 match. I'm going to give you a picture to use in your piece of art, and working collaboratively, the four of you will need to make the piece the best. This may be a little confusing, so I've made a detailed example. The winning team will be decided by myself, Dragon Warrior and The Boss. So work hard to impress us. This round will take a lot of conversing between team members I would think. And although the losing team won't be knocked out, the winning team will still get an advantage for the next round. And that is that the next round will be a 2 vs 1. That's 2 from a winning team versus 1 from a losing team.

But White! That leaves four losers! Yes, yes it does. That's why the team that comes in fourth place (the three judges will decide which team did the abosolute worst) will be the four members split between the winning teams, and the team that comes in third will just have a 2 vs 2 battle.

What you can and cannot do to the picture. The picture is 600 by 400 pixels. That means each artist will create a piece that is 150 by 400 pixels.

[*]You cannot do anything to the picture. No opacity changing, no moving, no cropping. No nothing.
The only thing I'll allow to be done to the picture is erasing the background (the white part) of it so your piece can be seen beneath it.

[color=#555555]Round 1 is over! Since Team Lion never posted their graphic, Team Wolf was put in the same battle as Team Cobra and Team Mongoose, competing with them for first place. Here are what our judges had to say about the pieces.[/COLOR]

My opinions are as goes. I enjoy the boldness and color selection of [b]Cobra's[/b] entry. The choice of styling and effects really make the piece for me. So much so that I'd actually wear a piece of clothing with that design on it. Though a few objects seem oddly placed, it's still a very beautiful work all together. For [b]Mongoose[/b], I enjoy the layers and originality of the piece. The wording and the lambs are very cool, and the entire right side of the peice, with the sheet music and all, really shows me your collective skill. However, this subtracts from the actual subject for me, instead of emphasizing it. For [b]Wolf[/b], I feel as though I cannot hold anything against your peice with the other two because it is essentially a different subject. I enjoy the color choice and designs spread through out and the two phrases set up. However they are either hard to see and the font choice for the right hand corner really brings things down for me. It could have popped more.

My descesion is based on two things. The fact that I simply enjoy [b]Cobra's[/b] final graphic better, and the fact that it was the only one on time. Be a bit snappier next time.

Okay, okay, now this is just crazy. I look at the entries sent to me and I check one of them out and first thing I see--first frickin' thing I see--is motha flippin' sheep climbin' a skyscraper! Is this a graphic thread or the circus? I oughta take you out into the street and beat ya'll with a chairleg. Honestly.

Having said that, I do have some thoughts. I have to admit, I do like Cobra's. What can I say? They went all out, it looks like. Or maybe they're holding back their abilities 'til the final round. Kind of like in some DBZ episode where they're all like, "Okay, now I'm going to kill you," and the other guy's like, "F that, I was holding all my power back 'til now," and the first guy's like, "Ah, hell no!" and then he gets pimp-slapped, yo! Still, as I was saying before I went on that obnoxiously slang-ridden rant, I really like how they kind of went three dimensional with the piece. Check out how the skyscraper is at one angle, the newspaper or whatever's in another, and then the snowman and shiz is all like, "Woah, 2-D!" It's like, totally rad, man. That bird kicks some serious butt. Totally would waste Vegeta.

Is it going in years, though? Or... what's up with that? The little numbers... 02... 03... eh? Still, none of the pieces really made sense aside from Wolf's. It's message was clear: Drink Booze. Though the humor was in the right place, it didn't seem up to par with its fellow competitors. Still, it makes you wanna crack open a cold one, don't it? I was all like, "Wooo! Let's get it started in here!" after seeing it and all muh ladies were over and we got down wit' our bad selves :^D

Okay, White told me to stop talking gangster :(

Anyways, as previously mentioned, there are flippin' sheep crawling up buildings in Mongoose's. But hey, I like it. Dare I say, I like it the most? Damn right I do. It reminds me of a storybook with the whole "cutout" lines and clouds that look like popup books. To quote McDonalds and hope not to have a lawsuit slapped on me, I'm Lovin' It. I guess it kinda makes sense. It predicts the future? Sheep apocalypse? I dunno. Work with me here...

So overall, that stuff was whack. And I've seen some pretty f'ed up shiz in my day. White'll tell ya. That one time... haha... that one time we went to that amusement park and that guy in line... but I won't get into that. Now to judge. You know what I think already, man!

The following is my take on all three submissions. First of all, [B]Cobra[/B]'s entry really catches my attention. The colour scheme matches the theme of the picture very well and I love all the shapes. I'm also quite fond of the 01,02,03 and 04's found throughout the image.

I was quite disappointed with [B]Mongoose[/B]'s submission. The pink and buildings really don't go together at all and the sudden white to the right seems kind of random. However the designs are very nice and the sheep climbing the buildings are kind of cute. The clouds are also very cool (though I would suggest bringing the Drop Shadow distance to zero).

[B]Wolf[/B]'s image is a breath of fresh air. I was very skeptical about the beer image a few minutes after I posted it, but you guys really nailed it. I really like the colour blue you guys used and the way the beer is kind of half filling the white lines is really neat. I'm also quite fond of the way Picture 2 and Picture 3 blend together. The designs behind the beer glass is really cool.

All in all, I decided that [B]Wolf[/B] should take first, leaving [B]Cobra[/B] with second and [B]Mongoose[/B] with third.[/size][/quote][color=#555555]And that's that. I used a point system to find the winner. Everytime a team got first, they got 3 points, second place won them 2 points and third place got them 1 point.

With a total of [b]7[/b] points, taking first place is Team Cobra. Right behind in second place with a total of [b]6[/b] points is Team Mongoose. And with a surprising [b]5[/b] points trailing on Mongoose's tail is Team Wolf in third place. Congratulations to all of you, you all worked hard and it will pay off.[/COLOR]
