Gavin
Just a thought that crossed my mind while I was reading a few different threads, those of us who've been on OB for a couple of years will have been around long enough to see older members go and newer members grow, mature and take their places. However, what happens occasionally is that one old member retires, and someone turns up who eventually becomes very like the person who retires. To give an example, for me Jamie aka Ezekiel has almost certainly become the new Juuthena, some people won't recognise this name, but older members will definitely remember Juu. I say this because Jamie has turned into a fantastic RPer in the short amount of time I've known her, uses a coloured Size 1 Verdana font style like Juu used to, and is an adamant Star Wars fan. Now I accept that those three aren't all that uncommon, but having known both Juu and Jamie, I was a newbie when I knew Juu and now an oldie as I know Jamie, I think Jamie has definitely filled the void Juu left. Does anyone else have any thoughts of who on OB now is like someone who left ? Or even conversely, someone who resembles an older version of one of our newer members ? conpiracymonki
I think Dragon Warrior is like a mini-Break, even though they were on this Board at the same time for quite a good while. I miss my Weh.. :(
Desbreko
Aaryanna reminds me of myself . . . minus the spammy beginnings here. ^_^; I suppose the most definite things I could point to would be that we both became moderators here while still fairly young (fourteen and thirteen) and we both have a major obsession which practically identifies us (Zelda and her dog). But besides that, more than a few of her posts have made me think, "Hey, that sounds like something I'd say." Our personalities seem fairly similar.
Aberinkula
I actually used to be GUNmanZERO7. Yes that idiotic member. Well that was when i didn't know that names could be changed. So stare at me for a sec. Notice anything different. Well there is no change except a) more friends on here b) Actually started an RP. and c) I know better. but I would like to follow somebodies footsteps. KW gave me the nickname Split. And I used to be Ålpha-Æpsilon. So people just call me "Split" or "SK".
Ezekiel
You flatter me, Gav. I think White is starting to turn into another Dragon Warrior. I know. The horror! They're both attractive guys who know it and flaunt it. I think White has picked up his more confident attitude after he started talking to DW. At least, that's when I noticed it more. I may be wrong. White is turning into a better-known member here and popular, at that. He's also developed a real sense of 'silly comedy' that is so prevalent in DW's stories. So yes, if DW left, I think White would slip into the small void rather well.

I can't think of anyone who's here now, but I remember a while back that lava lamp was shaping up to be wrist cutter v2. Conversely, lava lamp seemed to be banned for the same short, snappy posts wrist cutter was known for (and even labelled a wrist cutter wannabe). A shame, they were awesome.
