Are You a Band Geek?

[size=1][color=slategray]I don't consider myself a band geek. In fact, I dropped band class this year for German. :)

I was in the school band for a good four years. I played the trumpet. I thought band class itself was great. I loved having time to play my trumpet. Buuut, marching was a different thing completely. I got too obsessive over how straight our lines were and how no one ever took it seriously. It wore me out and I got sick of it incredibly fast.

So, dropping out of band was no real loss to me. But I still like to whip out that trumpet every other week and play the Harry Potter theme and some jazzy Cowboy Bebop beats.[/color][/size]

I'm a band geek I guess lol. I love music and I play in a band. I play the drums. I never though of this as being geeky though hahaha! I listen to music all the time. I have over 100 cds i have cassettes...yes remember those. I even have records! Oh ya and Im going to a film and music school in a couple of weeks and Im taking the film and music buisness program. Its gonna be exciting!!!!! So Im totally a band geek than I guess. Meh I love it! Keeps me going!

[COLOR=Purple][B]OMG OMG OMG! I am a band geek and always will be! I was in band all through my high school years till the day I graduated! I played in Jazz, I played in marching, concert, symphonic. I play TRUMPET! Trumpets RULE! I can play like one or two scaled on a flute. But thats about it. lol. I dont have a band of my own and probaobly never will, but thats okay. I know I'm a band geek cause even though I'm out of school and everything I still practice everyday, twice a day for 3 hours each time. I love to sight read, though I'm not good at it, I like to do that and get good at it. I hope to get into band when I get into college. I also know I'm a band geek, cause everytime I see Drum Line, I cry at the end...LOL And the best school days are when the football games were that night cause I knew I was gonna be out on the feild playing. I loved it. It was such a rush. I miss it.[/B][/COLOR]
