now i leave you with my last topic what kinda shoes you were?
I was once a pair of lovely ballerina slippers. I had pretty pink laces and was made of silk. Several famous ballerina wore me and had great pain in their feet because of me. Anyone who put me on their feet felt the urge to dance. Now I am back to being a person, and I wear plain $20 Wal-Mart shoes because I honestly don't care about shoe brands/styles/whatever. Most of my friends were obsessed with Converse awhile ago, but I never saw the big deal about anything you put on your feet. They are items of protection, that's all. I'm glad that the OP seems to be wearing their "walking shoes."
Pwned. I wear a pair of skate shoes. They're like $40 which sort of sucks. I didn't know it until I saw the commercial, but they were the shoes that Stev-o's been drinking milk out of and advertising non stop. So that's pretty cool. I also have a secondary pair of shoes. They are Vans which I learned pretty damn quick, suck. The shoes still function and keep my feet dry. But the underside of the shoe has worn so much it's torn and come unglued or detached from the layer beneath it. I just drew all over them. On the inside of my left shoe I draw the sign for a local band.
Japan
I am surprised with myself lately because I seem to be crazy about old navy flip flops. I never used to be much into them but now I love them. But I still love my sneakers, which I always wear when I go out, unless it is nothing too long or too physical then I wear flip flops. Other than that, I am not much into shoes. I really like new balance. Black colour and male shoe preferred.
Gavin
Interesting, most interesting. At five pairs, I suppose I own a lot of footwear for a guy, though one are a formal pair of leather shoes which I wear only for Mass and another are for the gym, so that cuts it down to three on a regular basis. My favourites at the moment are a pair of Reebok Hexalite runners I bought out of a local sports shop a few days ago in a sale to replace a similar pair of Nikes that got covered in paint at work last week. My more usual runners, the ones I wear around the house if I'm not in my socks, are a pair of white and slate grey Nike runners I picked up before my Australia trip. They don't fit well enough to be used in the gym, but are comfortable none the less. The last are a pair of deck suede shoes I picked up for Australia too, but I use them usually for parties and so don't wear them all that often as they're not a great shoe to spent hours in. Does anyone else here have big feet, like size 12 [13 US] and find it hard to get comfortable shoes ?

What are the mods going to do, ban him? Anyway, I wear a pair of grey, black, and red Vans skate shoes that I got last summer for school. They're comfortable. I also have a worn out pair of black and white sneakers that I use for yard work. Other than that I have a pair of dress shoes which I've never worn. My parents say I should get a new pair of shoes, even though my Vans are still in perfect condition. It seems my parents care more about what other people think about me than I do. Boo
Pwned.
Not really. I just bought a new pair of Vans grey/black Churchills to replace my old basketballs (which were ?6,95). I like them so far as they make walking a fun thing to do. DeadSeraphim
I have three pairs of shoes, two of which are exactly the same, except one pair is older. lol One pair of trainers for wearing with jeans, one pair of trainers for exercising, and a pair of thongs for shorts (black, of course). I am a fashion conscious individual, afterall, and know that trainers and surf shorts look like, as the kids would say, 'arse'.
Ryo the Tactician
This is...hilarious. A leaving member made a borderline incoherent post, and everyone has completely forgotten the original topic to actually pay attention, talking on and on about their shoes. And I find it infectious as well. Shouldn't someone go ahead and make a topic about the shoes so that this thread may die in peace, since BlueEyedAngel seems to have fled the scene and there is no debate with only one side. Honestly...hilarious. Personally, I find Vans to be an excellent brand of shoes, that are still holding up after a year of wear and tear. However, due to their fine work yet long career as my casual shoes, I now where a very awesome pair of NSS Skate Shoes. Redundant, since NSS stands for Nice Skate Shoes. I don't think they'll last long, but I like them quite a bit. Most of the year though, it's my school shoes. Yeeap. Uniform. ~Ryo
Raina
Since everyone is having fun, I think this thread should stay. Good bye lee123. I never knew you, but I'm sure that you would be missed. :animecry: Anyway, my feet are quite small. Size 5 in Australia. So what does that make in USA? Size 4 or something? It's about 22cm, if that would help... I'm a uni student by the way. A student with very small feet. :animeswea Well, I have a hard time finding my size, because not many people have small feet. Let's say that a shoe store would get 50 pairs of shoes. Only 1 pair of those would be my size. And they would sell very quickly, because someone out there has the same shoe size as me... :animeangr So, what I do is go buy shoes from the kids section. :p They usually have my size there. At the momoent, I'm wearing leather sport shoes from the kids section. It's quite comfortable. No one notices that it's kids shoes. :animesmil And it was cheap because I bought it during the Back to School Sale. :D

BlueYoshi
I only have three pairs of trainers: Converse Stars, Converse All Stars, and some Nikes for sports. Of the three, I only wear the Converse All Stars on a regular basis, and since I'm not very fashion conscious, I've worn them to the point that they're absolutely torn and tattered. I don't mind though, they're comfortable and extremely light. On the other hand, for the past two years running my brother has only ever bought Converse All Stars. He has them in black, grey, red, black with flames, blue, black, black, black, and black, and what's worse is that he keeps them all. I don't like them because they're of a poor quality, thus they rip prematurely, and you're bound to get your feet soaked in the rain. They also remind me of Sideshow Bob.
Horendithas
Does anyone else here have big feet, like size 12 [13 US'] and find it hard to get comfortable shoes ?
I have the exact opposite problem. I wear a either a 3 or 4 depending on the maker of the shoe and most stores tend to carry women?s shoes in sizes 5 up. And if they do carry the smaller ones, they get only a few and they disappear quickly. I?ve often had to get children?s shoes instead which sucks and the selection is of course for kids. I?ve had to rely on ordering online and hoping the size fits since many stores don?t carry what I want. Though most of them are pretty good about swapping sizes until you get what you want, it?s just annoying to wait for the next one to arrive in the mail. So ironically I have about ten pairs of shoes since they are so hard for me to find. I have three sets of sneakers, two sets of hiking boots, three sets of sandals and two sets of nicer looking dress type shoes. Hmmm?I guess I should say I have thirteen pairs, but my slippers tend to be the sock type as those are so much easier to find in the right size. As for the poster?s question as to what type of shoe I use to be, well seeing that I tend to take my shoes off the moment I walk in the door I?d have to say I?m a barefoot type of woman who never was a type of shoe as I hate wearing shoes for any longer than necessary. Except for sock slippers. I love wearing those, especially the ones that are fuzzy inside.
chaos Alvis
Lets see. Size 8. kuroinuyoukai
I usually just wear cheap sneakers form WalMart or somewhere. I have no time or money to shop fopr $100.00 sneakers.
Aaryanna
Well as far as I can remember I was never a type of shoe. ^_~ And when it comes to wearing them I usually don?t unless I have to. I prefer to run around the house and in the yard barefoot. But when I do wear shoes they are just some inexpensive sneakers from Wal-Mart. I do have shoes for wearing with a dress, but since I hate dresses I almost never use them. Oh and I do have one pair of hiking boots that I wear in the winter since they are warmer than the sneakers and do better in the snow. ^_^
Fyxe
I have one pair of dying shoes and a pair of boots. My shoes are just all black Converse All-Stars high tops. I've had them for about two years, and it shows. They are in terrible shape, cracks in the rubber everywhere, and were there used to be soles are pretty much just holes in the back of my shoes. XD Needless to say, I need a new pair. I saw an awesome pair of Emily the Strange shoes on sale the other day, and I love me some Emily, so perhapes tomorrow I'll go back and grab them. As for my boots, they stop just an inch or two beyond my ankles, black, with a white cat face on the fronts. I love them, they are so damn awesome. Haha, I have small feet. 7 1/2 or 8, depending on the brand. (The moment I saw the title of this topic, the only thing I could think of was Kelly. Delta
I rarely wear anything with laces. Only when I have to make like a mountain goat and manage with boulders do I feel compelled to wear my trusty Merrells. When I'm feeling ******, I use my ratty grey shoes, now brown with caked mud and grass stains. Flip-flops dominate my shoe rack, mostly in pink, black or pink-and-black. I also have a pair of magic red flip-flops that instantly perks up any drab ensemble. Way better than Dorothy's ruby shoes, IMO.
Lava Lamp
Ahhh, shoes. I love shoes. I usually wear a pair of boots, that look like uggs, but are really just a very-well made knock off of uggs. (For those of you that don't know what ugs look like, they look like this. ) I wear my fuggs (fake-uggs) almost everywhere. Even during the summertime. I call them my "magic boots", because I can do anything in them. Even fly. Now, I also wear flip-flops from time to time. I have like, 5 pairs of flip-flops (or "flippers", as I like to call them). I have found that my dogs like my flippers too. Especially the taste of them. :animesigh As far as "normal" shoes go (as in sneakers), I hate 'em. I only wear them when completely necessary.
Magus
Does anyone else here have big feet, like size 12 [13 US'] and find it hard to get comfortable shoes ?
I too where a size 13, but the shoes I wear runs big so I never really had a problem finding comfortable shoes. Speaking of the type of shoes I wear, if you're wondering why I have a short stack in games and animes (hell, only anime I own is Samurai X, I recorded the rest I have thus far), it's because I spend most of my money on shoes and clothes. (I need to start saving up.) Most of the shoes I wear are the ever expensive Jordans, but like my games I wait till they go down to a decent price. (mainly $70-$80) Another shoe I wear a lot of are Air Force Ones. They're quite comfortable, and plain at the same time. What I hate about them is that most of the plain colors are hard to find while they're selling a bunch of flashy colors. Some looks nice, but when you put all those colors into one shoe..... ugh. And then there's the boots. I wear a lot of Timberlands. (Only in the fall and of course winter though) Again, they have the plain colors I look for, but I've been trying to get my hands on the two toned colors. I have quite a lot of shoes but only 4 pairs of boots. "shrugs"
Ai.sAkUrA.chan
Okay..shoes... I'm 6 and 7, either one. I have checkered Vans, pink converse, black converse, and adio's ^^. Maneki Neko
Ugh, I actually love shoes. I don't even know how many pairs I have now. Probably like 7 or 8. Umm..yeah. I like shoes. But I keep all my shoes in really good condition and I have many different ones for different occasions. I wear a size 6 in US womens. But everyone says my feet are super tiny. I have some cons, and jack purcells that are made by converse. I have 2 pairs of old navy flip-flops, 1 pair of roxy filp-flops, and a pair of American eagle flip-flops that are suede and incredibly comfortable (and cheap). My feet got blisters from walking on the beach with my old navy ones. I also have a pair of pumas that I wear to work. And a pair of Osiris skate shoes. I have a pair of etnies slip on mary-janes, and brown leather mary-janes, and a pair of tan lace-up stillettoes that I wore to all my formal dances. Okay so that's actually 11 pairs of shoes. I like shoes alright... Plus I get everything on sale. I don't think I've ever spent more than $40 on a pair of shoes.
