Blayze
There is no God. There is no Devil. There is only HIM. His name is Mosrael, the one true Angel. Mosrael is the one that is known as both God and the Devil. A powerful deity who performed acts of both good and evil. He was the one who spoke to Joan of Arc, the one that the Bible was written about. He wielded the power to give life and the power to take life away. He was the Creator, the Maintainer and the Destroyer. All of time and space lay within his hands. I came into direct contact with Mosrael almost four hundred years ago, at the beginning of a new chapter in my family's history. My human name was Michael Jacobs, a soldier for the British Army, posted in a small, 17th-Century town near London. I lived an idyllic life, complete with my loving wife and two sons. But one day, a strange assailant took my wife from me, brutally hacking her young, helpless frame apart with a 16-inch knife. It was a seemingly pointless crime, one that was never solved, with no motive whatsoever, and it tore my heart in two. I prayed more vigorously that night than I ever had for almost twenty years, releasing all my rage over what had happened. Only this time, my prayers were answered. But not by the God I was expecting. My prayers were answered by him. Mosrael, the One Angel. I asked him what I could do to bring my wife back, and he told me there was only one way. I was required to offer my soul, in service to the great deity Mosrael, for the rest of my life. I accepted, stricken with grief, and became one of Mosrael's emissaries on Earth. He granted me great power, along with four others from across the globe who had been affected by similar tragedies to myself. We were his Harbingers, those who would carry out any necessary duties on Earth that Mosrael could not perform himself. But this was not all. I served Mosrael for seventy years, until I was finally released, and allowed to pass away. The others followed soon after. But I waited, too attached to the mortal plane to let go fully. I remained here as a ghost to witness the growth of each new generation of my family. It was not until then that I discovered the hidden, devilish part of Mosrael's deal. He not only required a life of servitude from me, but also from my descendants. When I died, my grandchildren were turned into servants of Mosrael's will, and the debt was passed down from generation to generation. Five bloodlines were each cursed to serve Mosrael for all eternity. The Families Jacobs, Danvers, Collins, Parry and Simms were all owned by Mosrael. The only escape from this debt was death. So, every generation of each of these five families was forced into servitude. But the way for them to finally break free of their blood contract was revealed to me upon the arrival of the newest generation of my own bloodline. Caleb Jacobs. A young, hot-headed man, and only with his abilities would he be able to break the cycle of servitude. But without the trust and help of the other four descendants, this plan will amount to nought. My family will be free... --- Welcome to The Mosrael Covenant. For this RP I will need a grand total of four applicants besides myself, and we will each be playing one of the descendants of each bloodline. But first, a breakdown of the basics: The Harbingers of Mosrael are a group of people, the descendants of the families Jacobs, Danvers, Collins, Parry and Simms, who have been cursed into a life of servitude under Mosrael, the God-like figure who carries out all necessary duties of our images of God and the Devil, after their 18th birthday. To carry out his bidding, they have each been granted phenomenal power. Each bloodline possesses a different power: Jacobs - the power of fire, to bring light and warmth to the world, but also to rain destruction down upon those who are not worthy of Mosrael's love. Danvers - the power of water, that which is essential to creating life, but can also take it away within the blink of an eye. Collins - the power of lightning, the weather, rain and thunder. One of the most powerful bloodlines, the Collins family can control the very essence of weather and electricity itself. Parry - the power of nature, to bring beauty and tranquility to the world, but also to create poison, toxins and other harmful substances. Simms - the power of wind, to create air for humans and plants to breathe, to allow them to live, but also to take it away, thus depriving them of life itself. Each bloodline has complete control over their respective element, and as such they are an incredibly powerful group of people. They possess no weapons, they have no need for them, but each has their own weaknesses as well. So I will be requiring someone to play each of the descendants of the families Danvers, Collins, Parry and Simms. I will be playing the descendant of Michael Jacobs, as well as the ghost of Michael himself. Here is what I will need from you in terms of a sign-up: Name: family name is given, first name is up to you Age: 19-25 Gender: Appearance: a picture or a good description is good, both is great Personality: nice and detailed, please, I'm looking for two or three paragraphs on this Short Biography: and when I say short I mean three or four decent-sized paragraphs. Give a basic outline of your life, both before and after you found out about your powers. Remember, you became Mosrael's servant on your 18th birthday. I think that should be about it, I will be opening an Underground thread if you wish to ask any questions. Other than that, have fun with your sign-ups! Oh, yes, before I forget, sign-ups will be open until Friday September 1, or until I get four amazing applications, whichever comes first. Happy creating!
Orcus
Name: Gabriel Collins Age: 19 Gender: Male Appearance: [Gabriel] Gabriel stands at 6?0??, and has a long, thin frame. His silver hair is cut fairly short from its original length, and only falls to about his shoulders. His hair, however, is often tucked underneath a black cadet hat with a white skull and wing design on the right. His eyes are a soft gray tone, but are always hidden behind a pair of thin, square rimmed glasses and his silver bangs. Gabriel?s attire follows a traditional pattern, and rarely ever changes. A black military t-shirt with shoulder straps covers the upper half of his body, and over that is slung: his messenger bag where he carries his art book and drawing utensils, and a silver crux gemmata with 13 onyx gems in it. Covering his legs are a pair of light blue torn jeans that fall over his black tennis shoes. On the middle finger of his right hand is a ring with three silver cross designs on it. Despite the religious emblem, Gabriel?s view on religion is rather pessimistic, due to what he corresponds it with in his past. The only reason he keeps this jewelry is because that was all his mother left behind. Personality: Gabriel is a troubled individual, with sides to himself as different as the seasons themselves. Through the sting of events that have happened through his life, a constant sorrow lives in his heart, in the back of his mind. However, very few are led on to believe that by his casual and cheery demeanor portrayed day by day. He?s rarely ever seem without his broad smile or optimistic nature. He?s well liked, and attracts people naturally. He?s kind to all, which can often get him into trouble, as he carries the naïve ideology that every heart has some good in it. This had proved, however, a useful skill to have, saving him from as many sticky situations as it?s gotten him into. Despite this appearance, many a nights, Gabriel finds himself in his room striking the walls in anger, tears streaming down his eyes subconsciously as he unleashes his rage. Once the tears of a child for the departure of his mother, than the tears of a teen for the self-abuse his father endured, now his rage is fueled by the both and for the future that has been laid out for him. His life of servitude was made clear to him early in his teenager years, and he?s despised ?God? and religion in general. He?s very skeptical of religious folks, but allows them their own beliefs, never forcing his own views down their throats, despite knowing the truth. A certain part of Gabriel does enjoy the amazing abilities granted to him by the pact his decendant made with Mosrael. He?s told no one, though he has wanted to badly. He often uses his powers for meager things, or merely for his amusement, though his powers do also become apparent with his mode. With the innate ability to control the weather in his blood, an extremely happy Gabriel is greeted by clear skies, whereas a truly frustrated Gabriel will go for long walks in the rain storms that spring up. He has yet to use his powers for Short Biography: Gabriel was born to Markus Collins and Jessica Morin. His father was said to be a successful businessman, and his mother was a painter. Gabriel?s earliest childhood years were the brightest of them all, and they barely qualified as such. Jessica would stay home with young Gabriel and paint with the child, while Markus was ?off at work all the time?. Though the couple rarely was together, when they were, things had the appearance of being fine, when in truth, they weren?t. Markus often remained silent around his family, staring down at his son sorrowfully, pained almost. At dinner his father would pray vigorously, praying that one day our family?s sorrows would end. His mother?s eyes would drop at that, if only for just a second. Later in the evening, they would argue for long hours, argue about their fate, the fate of their son. Surely there must be some way out, his mother would scream. And every night his father would scream back that they couldn?t escape this debt, that there would be no way out. The arguing continued for months, than years, and then finally it ceased. It ceased the day that his mother vanished. By that time, Gabriel was 4 years old, and he would often times ask his father where his mother had gone. His father would merely put on a smile and say that mommy had to go away for work, and that she would be back eventually. Well, once eventually came, Gabriel stopped asking, because he knew his mother would never come home. Not that he had the time to ask anyway. His father was always gone at work, and when he was home, he would often hit the bottle. He never lashed out against his son, or spoke cruelly to him, but the alcohol would bring out his father?s insecurities. Gabriel hated to see his father like that so he would bury himself in school work or stay at his friends house until his father was better, or gone. His teenage years were slightly better, as his father was around more often, and they developed a brotherly bond. Gabriel had grown into a fine young gentleman, and his father couldn?t have been more proud of him. He took on a love for art like that of his mother?s. When Gabriel would search for inspiration, his father began telling him tales of their ancestry, about tales of the powers they possessed. Gabriel would merely laugh them off, believing the tales to be nothing more than a byproduct of his drunken state. These tales became almost an everyday tradition with the two, and while Markus told the stories, Gabriel would make them into artwork. But like the past, these days came to an abrupt end. That day tragedy struck, that day when Markus and Gabriel crashed in their car while Markus was driving in a intoxicated state. Markus, barely holding on for life, spoke to his son warily one last time. As the blood flowed from his mouth, he told his son that all his tales were true, that his family was cursed, that Gabriel was the next. Tears streamed down Gabriel?s face as he told his dad to save his strength, to hold on. Markus looked to the sky and smiled, muttering something about wanting to die in the rain. Not 5 seconds after the words were uttered the clear sky turned cloudy and rain began to fall lightly onto the Earth. Gabriel knelt, amazed, and silently promised that he would find a way out of the debt, a way other than death. Gabriel went to live with a close family, and finished his high school career, going off to college, keeping his promise strong in his heart. Revelation
Name- Elijah Danvers Age- 24 Gender- Male Appearance- Eli is a beautiful individual who keeps his appearance clean and proper, though lets his black hair run wild. Beneath his untamed hair are dark eyes that seem to always be in thought. He stands at the height of 5?10? with a medium built body and chiseled features. Underneath his clothing is a dragon tattoo that coils around his left shoulder and down his back. As far as clothes go, Eli has no preference. His closet contains an array of colors and styles, creating a never-ending combination; except, it seems that Eli never leaves the house with a jacket or sweater, with the exception of high temperature days. Personality- Known as the wild card of the Covenant, Elijah Danvers is a rambunctious, lively individual. He is the life of any party and wherever he goes people seem to know who he is whether it?s by reputation or whatnot. One thing that people seem to know well about him is that he has an affinity for trouble. He seems to welcome it with open arms and more often than not mixes it with danger, making him a reckless and stubborn man. Along with trouble and danger, fights are something he also loves. It adds to his adrenaline rush and seemingly so puts him in unimaginable situations. It could be said that his mischievous pranks are a way to disguise the pain beneath. Truth be told, Elijah is exactly who he portrays himself as, nothing less and nothing more. He does enjoy using his powers and cause trouble but he is an uncompromising person who is honest and loyal above all things, making him an adamant friend. Though he may come off as an unreliable person, Elijah has shown that he will go to any lengths to protect his friends, even if it means taking the life of a person. As harsh of a reality as it is, the Danvers is only one of five families who carry the curse that Mosrael laid upon them. Elijah, like the rest of his ancestors, accepted what was within him but unlike his family before him, he came to intertwine his burden with his life, making it a part of himself. No matter how much of a hardship the curse is, Elijah understands the importance of carrying the curse. Keeping it a secret to himself, the Danvers son uses his powers for his own delight. For how can a man of enjoyment take with him a power he?s been ?blessed? with if he cannot enjoy it? Short Biography- Though Elijah wasn?t the first born, he was the one granted powers by his ancestors; and although he wasn?t the first son in the family, Elijah was encumbered with the details and duties of what it meant to be a servant of Mosrael, even from a young age. At first glance, some may find that pouring such things onto a child would destroy him, it only left Elijah wanting more. He blatantly accepted his position without question, almost as if he wanted to be the sole proprietor of the curse. Ultimately, this alarmed his family as a child should not carry this heavy burden so suddenly rather take pieces with him. However, being a young child of curiosity and all, Elijah understood all there was to know about the curse and moreover, he understood what he had to do. As far as family went, the Danvers was a close-knit of people. Before Elijah graduated and left for college, his grandfather taught him all there was to know about the Mosrael Covenant and the powers that resided within. His father lessoned him in the arts of fighting, worldly matters, and the like, while his mother lessoned him in the finer arts of the home, hearth, and perception. They were strange beyond words but to the naked eye, the Danvers was nothing but a family. There hadn?t been much chaotic drama that flew around the house, in fact unlike most households, Elijah and his family seemed to be averse to such matters. After Elijah left for college, he fell out of contact with his family. The only time he had ever spoken with them was the day his grandfather passed away. It seemed that the effect of the powers given to him were far too much of a task than he expected. It became apparent that it was better that he accept his burden on his own terms rather than it be forced upon him. Disenchanted
Name: Octavia Simms Age: 22 Gender: Female Appearance: Octavia Many consider Octavia attractive but she merely waves them off as if their comments are absurd. Rarely does she ever tire her hair back, she prefers to let it drape gently over her shoulders and fall into her face. Her eyes are a light, almost powder blue colour, her skin is very pale and blemish free. Octavia owns not one pair of pants; her entire wardrobe consists of flowing elegant dresses, skirts and delicate tops. She is extremely feminine and chooses to wear colors like deep red, black, cream over colors such as bright pink and orange, and will pick plain over patterned. She is found in dresses more than in skirts, and usually with high heels or slightly decorated slip on shoes. Nothing she owns is tight fitting, save for a few ?going out? dresses; she likes the feel of the breeze on her skin. Octavia wears very little make-up, usually only putting on lipstick and eye shadow, nothing more. Her well defined figure has been known to catch the attention of both male and female alike. Personality: Octavia is somewhat distant; she prefers to keep her opinions to herself as they are usually quite unfavorable. Many people do not expect harsh words to come from the mouth of such an elegant individual. Octavia feels she has no need to communicate all her feelings through words as her eyes sometimes speak for her. She will act pleasant towards people at times but this is usually quite the opposite of how she truly feels. She has a terrible habit of expecting the worst from someone. She finds most people that she meets are nothing more than actors, projecting an image of them that they wished they were. Octavia can easily tell when someone is lying, as it is an art that she has mastered well among other things. One minute Octavia may act pleasant and the next she may feel compelled to bight her companies head off, she is extremely impatient with people. Many consider her highly-strung but she just has a strange way of being brutally honest with people. Octavia love nothing more in the world than to just sit alone and daydream, it doesn?t matter where she is or what she is doing, she can always be found staring off into space imagining she is somewhere other than her location. Among day dreaming, Octavia loves high places. From building tops to airplanes, she loves the feeling of weightlessness; this could be attributed to her elemental control over air. Ever since she was a little girl, she had never liked the company of other human beings and did everything she could to avoid large gatherings and still does. Short Biography: Octavia was born an only child to Elizabeth and Joseph Simms. Being an only child may have caused her to act the way she does but her parents didn?t help the matter any. Octavia?s father was a well known psychiatrist and her mother an accountant. She was given what she wanted when she wanted and no questions were asked. From an early age she found that she could manipulate others to do her will without much difficulty. Octavia was always given the best of everything but despite all the gifts she absolutely despised the attention. Her mother always seemed to be lurking around their large inner-city apartment of three stories, her father was scarcely seen. The only times he did appear were Christmas, anniversaries and birthdays. Octavia had always wondered what a psychiatrist could possibly do to warrant such long periods of time away. She never questioned her father and neither did her mother. Octavia knew what was going on behind the scenes even if her parents failed to acknowledge it. School life was boring for Octavia, her dislike of people led her to have few friends, the ones she did have she didn?t want. She was quite happy to sit alone and daydream. She came home one evening at the age of 15 to find her mother in bed with another man. After seeing the sight she immediately left the house, her mother hadn?t even noticed she came home, with all the noise they were making it was no wonder. When she retuned her mother acted as if nothing had happened, she saw no guilt or remorse on her mothers face. Night after night Octavia watched her parents living one big lie. Her parents acted as if they loved one another when they didn?t, she felt as if everyone around her was just acting. They would lie just to make themselves feel better when everything held no real meaning. Octavia found herself withdrawing from the people she knew, she became very impatient and no time in her life for ?fake people?. She found herself becoming more and more inclined to snap at anyone talking to her simply because what they were saying held no real substance. Talking about inane with her stupid friends was not her idea of a good time, among them she was the only one that actually aspired to be something instead of living off her parents wealth. Octavia suspected her father of the same folly as her mother. It was not until her 18th birthday that she found her father?s actions did hold meaning. She met Mosrael and many things became clear. Octavia found herself loving her powers, with oxygen nothing could live; she had the power to suffocate life with the blink of an eye and summon powerful gusts. Servitude under Mosrael didn?t seem such a horrible idea to her, it didn?t seem nearly as horrible as her father described it to be. Sakura
OOC: Will edit it soon. EDIT: Just got the Bio left to do, and I'll get on it real soon. EDIT2: Done, let me know if I need to change anything. Name: Clyne Parry Age: 20 Gender: Female Appearance: Here. Clyne is a beautiful young woman, with waves of dark brown hair framing her face and brushing her shoulders. Her face is well sculpted, set with deep emerald eyes that change shades with the emotions that she is feeling. She stands at 5'5" and has a fit lean body from constant exercise, and a slight tan from being outdoors for prolonged periods. Clyne isn't a girly girl, choosing not to wear skirts and dresses, though she does on occassion, like when going out somewhere nice. She is usually always found wearing the colours blue and white; whether it be a white top with blue pants, or a blue top with white pants. They're her favourite colours and she prefers them over everything else, but surprisingly she does own articles of clothing that are different colours, mainly shades of green. Her usual choice of attire is a white button down shirt with the first two buttons left open, and navy blue cargo pants with an embroided pattern on the right side, because that's what she feels most comfortable in and she just likes the style. Personality: Because of things from her past, Clyne is a light hearted individual, always calm and serene, light and blooming like flowers in the newborn Spring, determined not to be angry and full of rage. She's so cheerful that some claim it's contagious, because when she's around, the saddest people seem to smile because of the radiating warmth from hers. She's an honest person and personally thinks she's completely open with her opinions, always voicing her thoughts even if it will get her into trouble, because that's just the kind of person she is. Clyne makes friends easily because of how she is, but also has a number of enemies that call her names for how she is, especially when she's harshly honest. Clyne is an intellectual, especially enjoying her sciences. Her love is in all things to do with nature, loving to just be out in the environment, no matter where; from a busy city, to a silent grove. Her dream is to travel around the world and do all there is to do in each country, from scaling mountains, to diving in the clear blue seas. To compare Clyne to a specific image is difficult, but she sees herself in all of nature, from the storms to the gentle blue skies. Just because she always seems happy, doesn't mean she is always, because that's impossible, everyone feels pain and sorrow. Instead of showing her sadness, she covers it with a cheerful countenance because she doesn't like people worrying over her, she sees it as her job, always feeling a motherly feeling toward others, thinking she needs to take care of others. This of course may spawn from her powers over all nature. Clyne can honestly say that she loves her powers passed down to her through her ancestors. She has powers that are wonderful; able to make beautiful flowers spring up, or call to animals and commune with them, but it is also powerful enough to destroy all things great and beautiful, to create poisons to kill. Sure, it isn't the most strong bloodline when fighting, but it is in its own way, which is why Clyne enjoys it. Short Biography: Clyne grew up in a small family, the oldest of the three Parry children, having twins as her younger siblings, they're both 16 and look almost identical besides their different genders. Both of her parents were often too busy for them; her father, William Parry, an upclass lawyer, continually busy with new cases that had to be completed, and her mother, Elena Parry, keeping busy trying to protect the environment, going into protests with her group. As she grew up, Clyne ound herself practically raising her two younger siblings while trying to balance her school work as her parents didn't give heed to them, usually locked up in their studies. Even though they didn't do much together, Clyne would try to converse with them on those rare occassions when they were free, unlike the twins who didn't care. When she was 15 her life changed. She had been on her bed doing homework when there was banging and shouting. Getting up quickly she made sure the twins stayed in their rooms and creeped downstairs, peeking around the corner to see her parents standing in a face off, shouting at each other. Her dad kept going on about her mum being too busy to take care of the kids and neglecting them just for her stupid Green protests. She rebutted that he was never taking care of the kids either. He said that it was a woman's job. The debate continued through the night, the neighbours listened in, the twins trembled in their room, Clyne listened from the stairs. Finally her father stomped out of the house angrily, slamming the door heavily behind him and silence fell over the Parry household. Within two hours the house got a phonecall, it was from the local hospital, it was to inform Elena and the children that she was now a widow, and the kids were fatherless. When Elena asked how, they told her that he had been speeding, it was a rainy night, and a drunken driver had swerved, colliding with his car. The two spun, William's car hit a tree, immediately bursting into flames. An ambulance was called and he was rescued, but it was too late, his neck had snapped from the whiplash, and his body was severely burned. The family mourned their loss. Elena was filled with guilt because of the fight. Clyne comforted her siblings, keeping a straight face on though she wept bitterly within. The twins bawled loudly. The children recovered, but Elena was never the same. She fell sick months after William's funeral and no less than a year later, the Parry children found themselves burying another parent. Again, Clyne had to comfort the twins who were 12, unable to show her grief while the twins openly shed their tears over the grave of their parents who now lay together forever. Clyne was forced to pick up a job even though she was already having trouble with school because she had to support her now dessimated family. This is how she gained her constant cheerful nature and her need to act motherly toward others. When she reached 18 years of age, her life changed again as she met the great Mosreal and it was revealed that she was to be one of his servants, relaying the history of the five bloodlines that were destined to serve him, generation by generation, for all of eternity. Clyne was reluctant because she still had to take care of her younger siblings but was forced to bow to Mosrael's will. Now all she can do is obey him and enjoy her powers.
