There is no Devil. There is only HIM. His name is Mosrael, the one true Angel. Mosrael is the one that is known as both God and the Devil. A powerful deity who performed acts of both good and evil. He was the one who spoke to Joan of Arc, the one that the Bible was written about. He wielded the power to give life and the power to take life away. He was the Creator, the Maintainer and the Destroyer. All of time and space lay within his hands. I came into direct contact with Mosrael almost four hundred years ago, at the beginning of a new chapter in my family's history. My human name was Michael Jacobs, a soldier for the British Army, posted in a small, 17th-Century town near London. I lived an idyllic life, complete with my loving wife and two sons. But one day, a strange assailant took my wife from me, brutally hacking her young, helpless frame apart with a 16-inch knife. It was a seemingly pointless crime, one that was never solved, with no motive whatsoever, and it tore my heart in two. I prayed more vigorously that night than I ever had for almost twenty years, releasing all my rage over what had happened. Only this time, my prayers were answered. But not by the God I was expecting. My prayers were answered by him. Mosrael, the One Angel. I asked him what I could do to bring my wife back, and he told me there was only one way. I was required to offer my soul, in service to the great deity Mosrael, for the rest of my life. I accepted, stricken with grief, and became one of Mosrael's emissaries on Earth. He granted me great power, along with four others from across the globe who had been affected by similar tragedies to myself. We were his Harbingers, those who would carry out any necessary duties on Earth that Mosrael could not perform himself. But this was not all. I served Mosrael for seventy years, until I was finally released, and allowed to pass away. The others followed soon after. But I waited, too attached to the mortal plane to let go fully. I remained here as a ghost to witness the growth of each new generation of my family. It was not until then that I discovered the hidden, devilish part of Mosrael's deal. He not only required a life of servitude from me, but also from my descendants. When I died, my grandchildren were turned into servants of Mosrael's will, and the debt was passed down from generation to generation. Five bloodlines were each cursed to serve Mosrael for all eternity. The Families Jacobs, Danvers, Collins, Parry and Simms were all owned by Mosrael. The only escape from this debt was death. So, every generation of each of these five families was forced into servitude. But the way for them to finally break free of their blood contract was revealed to me upon the arrival of the newest generation of my own bloodline. Caleb Jacobs. A young, hot-headed man, and only with his abilities would he be able to break the cycle of servitude. But without the trust and help of the other four descendants, this plan will amount to nought. My family will be free... --- Welcome to the Underground. This space is here for any questions you may have about the sign-up, and once the RP starts, any questions you might have about which direction the story is going in. I am also very open for comments and suggestions from you, so please don't hesitate to put in your two cents' worth. It will be much appreciated, as this is as much your RP as it is mine. Thank you very much for your interest, I am glad to answer any questions you might have.

kenshinsbabe
Okay, I think I'm confusing myself. We're writing our entries as the people who were the first in their family to get brought into Mosrael's service right? Just gotta be sure before I submit my entry.
Blayze
Tical Blue, the generation that this will occur in is pretty much our own generation, the 19-25-year olds of the early 21st century. So this RP will take place in modern times. And kenshinsbabe, you are writing your entry as the person of the newest generation, not of the first generation. You will be playing as the latest generation. Thanks for your interest thus far.
Gavin
Interesting, most interesting. Just a quick question before I sign up Phil, will this be a first come first serve sign up, where once a role has been picked and been given a full sign up, it can't be chosen ? Or are they all open until you make your final selection ?
