He has connections reaching into almost every aspect of society, from the police force to the grocery business. His connections helped him set up the job that went so horribly wrong, and now he wants to find a few things out for himself. His only rivals in the city are the rapidly-growing Yakuza, Japanese mobsters who are out to take over the city for themselves.[/color][/size][/font][font=Lucida Sans Unicode][size=2] [/size][/font][font=Lucida Sans Unicode][size=2][color=White][b]Donny Morelli[/b] - The Son of Jimmy Morelli and the man set to inherit his father's crime family, Donny Morelli is even more of a cold-hearted criminal than his father. He seems to have a vendetta against the Yakuza, for reasons known only to himself. The six people involved were almost caught by the police, but they narrowly escaped, splitting up to converge once more at the rendezvous spot. The abandoned hospital is at the edge of town, as far away from any police stations as possible. I've only got one simple question. I've just been thinking about background and such for my character and I was wondering in what time the story is set. I know that 'Dogs was somewhere in the '80s but I was still thinking about the use of technology, like mobile phones, computers etc.

And I like the little section for quotes... Really can't wait to fill that baby up!

[size=1]Well, this RP is set in around the early ninties, so technology would be far more primitive than we are perhaps used to. But this also means that security, in terms of the police, would be much less extreme, making it easier for criminals like us to get around easier.

So, mobile phones would be around, but they would be large, clunky things, and computers would be much slower and less sophisticated than they are today.
