"Sir..." like an echo in the back of his mind, Michael stirred in his chair as he turned from his desk and looked at the drenched officer standing in his doorway. It had been raining outside the massive castle for almost two full days now. A flash of lightening illuminated the room that was being lit by a single candle on the desk Michael just turned from in his chair.

With such brilliant light flooding from the windows, the officer could see a breathtaking collection of art. The room was much larger than he had first anticipated when walked in. A king size bed of 18th century architecture and design lay in the far corner, while Michael's desk was placed right in the middle of the room...nothing else but the art was in the room.

"Yes, what is it Leo?" it was always unnerving to the soldiers being referred to by their first names, but this kind of response was common knowledge now a days, and has become accepted from the new advisor. Michael's voice was passive...immediately spreading a calm sensation down Leo's back.

"I'm sorry to have disturbed you, but General Redman has confirmed the discovery of the final mark." It had been months since the last sighting...a discovery Leo would have hoped to bring a smile to the advisor. However he was quickly disappointed by Michaels response...he simply turned to his desk and shut a leather-bond journal.

Many minutes passed by without a word from either of the two men as Michael began to pace around the room, put things that were out of place where they were supposed to be as the officer waited patiently.

Michael's appearance wasn't like other advisors to the president. Usually they were all old with glasses; and lacking of hair. But Michael...he could easily pass as any other ordinary athletic college student. Leo didn't quite know his age, but he guessed him to be around 25-27 years of age...but by the tone of his voice; he sounded much older. Not in age necessarily...but in understanding. What was always odd about this man was his eye...like blue emeralds piercing into ones own hearts...surely unnatural.

By losing himself in his thoughts, Leo didn't notice that Michael was a few steps ahead of him; heading towards the door. Leo quickly moved to the side so that Michael could pass but was shocked to feel a firm hand be placed on his shoulder as Michael suddenly stopped midway through the door.

Leo had been watching over Michael for the past 4 months, and this was the first time that he had every touched him in any way.

"Leo...go home, your family is in danger..." Michael paused for a moment..."your wife is having an affair; if you leave now you will find her with another man..."

The officer was so caught off guard by this sudden revelation he felt like he was going to go into a gaze...but before he could respond, Michael was jogging down the hallway towards the courtyard where the chopper was waiting for them. Leo quickly looked at the room once more and all of its artwork, but suddenly noticed that the journal was not on top of the desk like it usually was. Shaking the observation, Leo ran out of the castle and headed towards his car.

Taking a seat between two marines, Michael pulled out his journal and firmly pressed it into the chest of the marine to his left.

"Give this to me once I wake up when we land."

The marine looked at him confusingly and cautiously took the leather book into his hand without question. One of the pilots looked back at the three men who had heard the statement.

"Why are you giving him a book?"

Michael stirred in his seat and closely closed his eyes. Without making eye-contact with the pilot, "because when I wake up...I'm going to forget that I even had a book."

Before the pilot could respond, Michael was already lost in a deep sleep.

Bursting out of his sheets, Michael quickly sat up from his bed and breathed in the cool, refreshing air of the morning breeze. The atmosphere for a moment felt heavy upon his broad shoulders, but suddenly became stable as Michael gained his bearings in his new body.

Oh how he loved the smell of oak as he got out of bed and began to dress himself in his usual attire; a white cloth tunic, and brown pants. The lakes shoreline could be heard outside the house as Michael walked out onto the sandy beach.

The transition was always unnerving, but the absorption of the forest around him always heightened his spirits. Like 4 other forests in this world, Michael lived on the shores of a single lake for this forest; one lake for each forest. The village only a mile or so away could already be heard stirring as the morning sun began to climb higher into the sky.

Quickly running back to his room to grab his journal, Michael ran barefoot towards the village. Immediately upon entering, Michael was met by Teeleh, a bright young man who Michael has taken under as a student, even though he was of adult age.

"How is your family?" questioned Michael as the two of them continued to walk through town.

"My wife has moved out of the house...but the children are doing well and have sided with me. The council is finalizing the arrangements now for her to be exiled, they only wait for your approval."

"I pray to Vylon that all the sleepers throughout the forests have been marked." Michael didn't mean to ignore Teeleh?s predicament...but there were more important matters at hand.

"Yes, there were a total of 6 sleepers throughout the desert forests, including 2 from our own village. All have been marked with the symbols that you gave us...but the council is curious as to your request."

Again, Michael ignored the comment and continued to focus on the point at hand. "Were they all victims of a severe tragedy?"

"Yes, as you predicted, the sleepers were victims of a life changing event.... whether a death in the family or of near-death injury. They were rumored to be going crazy, talking about dreams...and suddenly fell asleep...and have never woken back up."

"I tell you now in the next couple of days, they will all be waking up. Once this is so, they are to be immediately brought to me, do you understand?"

"Yes my lord." Teeleh stopped walking with Michael and motioned to 4 men towards the stables who immediately hopped onto their horses and exited the village.

Teeleh turned around and glanced at Michael entering the temple of Vylon where the elders of the council were meeting.

Hello everyone :)...I don't know if any of you remember me...but I've finally returned with another awesome rpg story. As you've probably already read, this is going to be a very involved and detailed rpg which is going to require the best writing work, and attention as a reader if you want to fully understand what is going on.

Michael, a human in the year 2099 is a known as "a prophet" throughout the American government. His identity of course is strictly confidential... since his days as a child, he has predicted and advised leaders around the world; preventing dangers and wars from occurring. Currently he is the personal advisor to the president of the United States, given almost unlimited power to help prevent such problems. Some officers have come to see him as "a messenger from God."

However, this is not so, for whenever Michael falls asleep and dreams...he is thrusted into another reality named "Second Earth." This ''dream," has claimed that it is nearly 2000 years after "The Great Apocalypse." But this dream is no dream at all...because Michael has come to discover that these two realities are somehow connected, and that there are similarities between both Earths.

Time has no correlation between both worlds. The sleepers in the year 2099 have been forced to take a pill called Hypnol that suppresses dreams for years, living in psychotic wards and mental hospitals. However in the other reality, it seems that they have only been sleeping for weeks.

Because of these time differences memory deteriorates if you spend too much time in one reality. Michael is looking for others like him because something evil is coming in the year 2099. And because both worlds are connected, he fears that something will happen terrible as well in Second Earth.

You the writers will be taking the parts of the sleepers...first taking the roles of the patients in the hospitals...having no memory of the other reality, only remembering that it happened right after you experienced a horrible event in your life.

I will be choosing which profiles I feel are the best for this rpg. Please only sign up if you are prepared to put in the effort. Once I choose the 6 I will then elaborate more on the story and what your first posts shall be.
