Onix
The 13th Order Endless War The Castle That Never Was was silent and calm as Onix strode through it, flanked by two of his Samurai Nobodies. The other members of the the 13th Order were elsewhere, occupied by their own fleeting interests, while he kept his mind focused on the goal. Held within his gloved hand was a report given to him by Riexand about Agrabah. His brow furrowed as the shadow of distress moved across the vacant hole where his Heart once was. 'We arrived in the desert of Agrabah and were instantly ambushed. This already pertubing state was reinforced when we reached the city proper. I wish I could discribe it accurately, but I cannot. A massive number Endless have flooded the streets, most notably a flock of at least 20 Red Dracos that have started razing buildings to the ground. It would appear that they are searching for something, although I have no idea what. Xaria felt we should enter battle with the Endless, but something seemed off about it. They were decidedly organized. Aixarael shared my concerns, and so we left before trouble could arise. I am confidant the Endless did not spot us, but we should hurry to a course of action, regardless. Who knows what they were seekings. Could it be the Heart of the World? Or something else?' Organized Endless was certainly not something he was quite used to. Was someone controlling them? Or was it just a natural evolution of their species? Either was worhty of wariness, that much was sure. He paused in his stride and snapped his fingers quickly. Behind him, a group of Dusks apparated, awaiting their orders. Your majesty? they 'said'. Though the lower Nobodies lacked vocal chords, they could speak to others through the mind. The Dusks , lowest of the Nobodies, weren't as communicative as others, but made good enough messengers with simple instructions. "Summon the rest of the Order," he murmured, knowing they'd read it off his thoughts, anyway. "It is time they recieved their new missions." Yes, majesty. They vanished in clouds of darkness, leaving but him and his Samurai. He started walking again, at a slightly faster pace, and they followed easily. The news from Agrabah was disturbing to say the least. Riexand had been wise to leave; it was likely of greater than the Team II could handle. No, this was clearly a job for Onix's own team. Still, he was not one to leave the other's twiddling their thumbs, and there were always more Endless to fight. He shoved open the doors to the Chamber of Dying Echoes, as the meeting room was labeled, and stepped inside. It was as yet empty, which served him well. He liked to be the first to enter, after all. He took his place at the head of the long table that the Order was to sit at and waited for the others to join him, banishing the Samurai to wherever it was they went when not in his company. "The Heart of the World?" he mumbled. "Or...something else?" Puzzling, indeed. ***** So, this RP will work in a slightly unique fashion. Which hopefully will work. Basically, there are four Teams, three Triplets and one Quartet. Each one will be sent to a different world with a goal in mind. This could range from vague to specific. Sometimes, you'll have to just kill Endless or "gather information and report." Other times, there will be definite targets or objects in mind to be killed or captured. And just in case you were wondering, Teams: I. Onix, Kaxkel, Xinikk, and Marax. II. Aixarael, Riexand, and Xaria. III. Xranis, Xarin, and Atrexsim. IV. Nixara, Necrox, and Xachnore.
Kitty
Xinikk was occupying herself in her room when the Dusks came by with the message. She did not pause her smashing of random objects, which she had collected while visiting some of the other worlds, even when the Dusks announced that they had a message for her. "His Majesty requests the Order attend a meeting in the Chamber." "Why didn't you tell me the message was from him? You're dismissed," she added with an annoyed wave of her hand. The axe she had been using previously dissipated from her hand as she carefully stepped over the shattered and broken pieces of boxes and tables and other furniture. She was asked once why she took such useless things if only to smash them, to which she replied that it was the only thing that entertained her back at the Castle. There really isn't anything to do here, anyway, she thought to herself before she closed the door to her room and the mess inside of it. It only took a few steps down the hallway for two Dragoons, the nobodies she had power over, to appear beside her, acting as escorts. She was always curious as to why they followed her so much, but she wasn?t bothered by it. Xinikk took a shorter, but rarely used route through the Castle that Never Was to the large meeting hall, dubbed the Chamber of Dying Echoes. She always walked the same hallways when she was called to a meeting because she hated running into the others. She didn't hate them all, but the chances of running into Marax were what kept her obstinately opposed to walking the rest of the corridors most of the time. Through the large doors, she was happy to see that she was the first of the summoned members to arrive. Onix nodded as she entered, and she bowed discreetly before the doors shut behind her of their own accord. She found her seat at the large table, four seats down from the Number I. One of the Dragoons that had been accompanying her pulled out her chair for her and she grinned at it before sitting down. Sure are simple things, but they aren't half bad to have around. Xinikk sighed as she slumped in her chair, anxious about the others arriving. She always ended up arguing with Marax each time everyone was gathered together in the Chamber, and she wondered what today's shouting match would be about.
ooc :: Hope this was okay. I'm excited about this starting, and I think my team mates are all awesome. x3

Blayze
"Xachnore, don't you know it's rude to mind-link with your Nobodies when there are other people around?" came a cool, calm voice from the corner of the hall furthest away from The Transmogrified Sniper. The three members of the Order that were already within the hall, Xachnore, Xinikk, and Onix himself, turned to see who was responsible for the interruption. Xarin moved forward a couple of steps, his cloak flowing out behind him. He loved when it did that. It gave him a good feeling. He smiled at the three Order members already sitting at the table, in complete silence. Xarin moved, noting that their eyes coldly followed him as he did, to his seat at the end of the table. He wasn't quite at the foot, but he was close. He pulled the chair out, apparently the only one of the four that hadn't summoned or dismissed their own personal Nobodies, and sat in it, slouching slightly. "Oh, and I suppose you don't mind-link with your Nobodies when there are others around, my friend?" replied Xachnore. "I don't need to. I don't have anything to hide from these fine people sitting at this table with me. And anyway, dealing through Nobodies is so...impersonal, you know? I prefer to deal with people face to face." "That's not how it seems in battle," said Xachnore, not bothering to hide those ill feelings he had towards Xarin, "I've seen you holding back until you barely have any enemies left before you. You're a coward." "Sticks and stones, my man, stick and stones," replied Xarin, placing his boots upon the table and leaning back, using his arms as a cushion. "Will you two shut up!" yelled Xinikk, slamming her fists on the table, "You're driving me crazy!" "Not like you needed much help," muttered Xarin, absently pulling a tiny thread of fluff off his coat. "What did you say?!" she shouted, standing up threateningly. "Would you all calm down," said Onix calmly, "And Xarin, please remove your feet from the table." "Since you asked so nicely," said Xarin with a cheeky grin flashed at Onix, and he did as his Superior commanded. "Thank you," said Onix, "Now please, let us wait for our comrades in quiet." Ezekiel
The ruffling of pages was all that could be heard in the expansive library of the Castle That Never Was. Kaxkel rested back in a large leather armchair, a glass of wine clasped in one feminine hand, while the other supported a slim, but ancient, book. His smile was small but content. He sipped the wine thoughtfully, swirling it around his mouth to savour the taste. The soft hiss of the Serpent next to him was what alerted the fourth member to a new presence. "Show yourself," he commanded, but not unkindly. The Dusk swept into view, it's features obscured by the shadows cast from the light of a candle. As if it wasn't frightening enough, Kaxkel mused. He set down his book and wine, leaning forward to listen to the Dusk's message, even if he already had a clue to what it was. His Majesty asks that you meet with him in the Chamber of Dying Echoes, sir. Kaxkel gave a wry smile and swept some hair out of his eyes before adjusting his monocle. "You make it sound as though I have a choice. You are dismissed." as soon as the words were spoken the Dusk disappeared and Kaxkel's Serpents rose to flank him. They glided softly over the plush carpet, following a step behind their master as he strode toward the meeting hall. Kaxkel arrived just in time to witness Xinikk's outburst, the sound of her fists slamming down on the table echoing around the hall. Kaxkel smiled and showed himself once Onix had diffused the situation, nodding to the other members as he made his way down the table. ?My, my, aren?t we all irritable today.? It was a statement rather than a question and Kaxkel slid a smooth, disarming smile at Xinikk before she could protest, folding his arms as he rested back in his chair. ?I was enjoying a nice glass of wine and a read. I hope this is important.?
TheResplendent
The dusk messenger arrived at Marax's chamber door, guarded as always by two Reavers. The dusk made it's way toward the door before being stopped by a Reaver's axe. The dusk tried to communicate that it had a message for Lord Marax. The Reaver raised it's hand which caused the dusk to cringe but the chamber door opened promptly after. Marax walked out, his axe attached to his back; slightly cloaked in addition to the one he wore over his body. He looked up at the Reaver guards and waved them off with his hand. "Easy now, this dusk is a messenger from Master Onix. It would be bad manners to destroy him...before i receive the message anyhow," Marax said as he took note of the message that had been relayed to him. The dusk bowed and made his leave, Marax held the Reavers where they stood so not to destroy the dusk. "Hmm, how I hate those little annoyances, master. I wish you'd let me kill them once in a while." the Reaver guard on the right said to him telepathically. "Heh, no no. But fear not, it seems like you will get plenty of time to kill to your hearts content now. This message means to assemble the entire organization...and it's been quite a while since it's been done this formally. Let us see what Onix wants." The Reavers nodded as they followed Marax down the hallways of The Castle that Never Was. It was a large castle, considering there were pretty much the 13 of them plus the respective Nobody groups residing there. Marax appreciated the scenary, as he looked side to side at the candleabras and darkened style of architecture. He took a turn and saw from the other end another organization member walking toward him. It was always easy to tell them from the lesser Nobodys even if their clear appearence wasn't visible at the time, it was due to their unmistakable uniforms of course. All of them wore black hooded cloaks, though some of the organization member's weapons were noticable enough to revel who they were from a far distance. Marax was one of those members, though he kept the hilt and shaft of his axe wrapped most of the time. He continued on, as he and the other member stopped before one another. "Xaria...are you well? I hear your last outing was not a pleasent one." Marax said, referring to the same mission that Onix had received a report on. "Oh...and how do you know about that?" Xaria responded, cross armed. Marax smiled slightly. "You forget, my Reavers make up the majority of this Castle's guards. They may not seem coherent to any other then those who would die by their hand...but they are quite aware of their surroundings." Marax answered in a confident tone. "I see. So you are well informed. Well, the Endless have become quite the problem for master Onix and ourselves as well. Perhaps the message the dusks have been goin around with summoning us to the main chamber concerns this issue." Xaria answered calmly. "Are you not going?" Marax asked, taking notice to Xaria's direction of progress being opposite the direction of the Main Chamber. "I am. I will be there momentarily. There is a matter that will consume little time." she said, nodding to Marax signalling her leave. Marax nodded back and watched as two Hardshells accompanying Xaria walked passed his Reavers. Marax continued walking toward the Main Chamber and finally reached it's archway. His eyes caught view of Xinikk as the only standing member, as Kaxkel was first beggining to sit. His eyes narrowed and he walked in hoping to avoid her abrasive commenting. "Well, everyone seems rather well." Marax said, waving his Reavers to wait beside the doorway. He sat in his seat, opposite facing of Xranis's, and on each of his sides were Riexand and Xaria's seats. "Welcome Marax, I am pleased at such rapid responses. Hopefully the others will arrive soon." Onix said. Xinikk just turned her head away in disgust, and sat back down angrily. Marax turned his focus to Kaxkel who was sitting across from him and gave him a subtle nod. Kaxkel returned it, the silent greeting between the two neccesary since Onix preferred silence in the Main Chamber.
Orcus
Xranis jumped backwards, barely avoiding Atrexim's strike to his stomach. He grinned in a cocky fashion and tossed two knives straight at Atrexim's chest, though they were deflected by his massive weapons. This was Atrexim's turn to strike. He came swiftly at Xranis, utilizing his control over the smoke element to create a thick fog only he could see through. He struck at Xranis' figure, believing to have hit him, and then unleashed his Shinobi on him, and they quickly struck, but were met only by one another. Atrexism sighed as laughter cam from above him, and then Xranis' voice. "Almost, almost. A shame, I'd say. I bet you thought you had me?" Atrexism grinned and burst out laughing, as did Xranis. Xranis assumed battle stance again, holding his knives at the ready, when two messenger dusk appeared. The two warriors stopped and gave their attention to them. The dusks flittered forward in their fluid and lithe style, mentally linking with their supperiors to relay their epistle, though the two already had a good feel for what it may be. "The Master implores that you come to the Chamber of Dying Echoes. It is an urg--" The dusk's sentence was interrupted as Xranis phased into the wall and phased out behind the creature, kicking it squarely in it's back, right to Atrexism, who easily cut it in half. Before the other dusk could react, Xranis took both knives and stabbed it in the back. He sighed as he prepared his blades again, then threw his hood over his head. Atrexism followed the action, adjusting his massive weapons back into place. "Let us hurry. Though I absolutely despise interruptions, if Onix wills something, it is done. Come along Atrexism." The two warriors left the training hall swiftly and hurried along to the Chamber. Their chief nobodies traveled shortly behind them, as they did quite often, weaving in unison in and out of the surroundings directly behind the two Order members. Xranis and Atrexism had taught them to do that; if they were in a continuous state of action they would never be overtaken or suprised and would be able to utilize their own and the other nobodies abilities to surrmount any foe. Xranis grinned as he pushed opened the doors to the Chamber and his nobodies dispersed. The chamber was silent, though tension could be felt in the air. It didn't bother either Xranis or Atrexism, as it was normal for the more brash members to continuously be disruptive. Xranis smiled at the other members, giving Xarin a high five as he walked by and took the seat next to him, and Atrexism next to him. Despite its vastness and emptyness, the Chamber was one of Xranis's favorite room, where he would often come to think when the other members weren't present. However, seeing as they were, he need pay attention to them, as he was nothing short of polite. He smiled at the other members accordingly, bowing his head to Onix when looking to him. "You know Onix, sending Dusks is so impersonal. I would prefer a personal greeting every now and then. It's not often you grant us that luxury." Onix merely shrugged and answered concisely, not one for extreme interaction. "Things have been busy, Xranis. Now more than ever." And with that, Onix shifted his attention away, waiting for the other members. Xranis sighed, disappointed. I suppose I shouldn't have expected an explanation off the back. Otherwise, why would he have called us here? He laughed slightly at his thought. He looked across the table to Marax, throwing him a quick v-peace symbol, flipped the hair out of his eyes, and then turned to Xarin, engaging him in conversation. ? ♥ ? OOC: Hope that's alright, Onix. PM me if I need to change anything.
Darth Vectis
Necrox's room was dark and barely lit, save for a few candles scattered around his quarters, his room had four solid walls. No visible doorways or windows, just clean, gleaming metal walls. He sat on his bed, his head lowered and his wrists placed on his knees, his angry expression looked as if it had been branded into his face permanently. His eyes closed and focused on what was going on inside his mind. All of his thoughts, ideas, and memories floated in front of his closed eyes, all taunting him with the lasting memory of his death. The cursed chains that he controlled and were forever attached to him, he even despised his nobodies to some degree. The rattle of their chains remind him all the time, and this bloodthirsty eyes reflect what he is. He did enjoy their company more then the others of the Order, he detested the others, their false emotions and their rather cheery mind sets drove him insane. He didn't have as much abhorrence for Onix, since he had given him the chance to fight and unleash his rage and fury upon the world. He took deep breathes, keeping his eyes closed and trying to keep his anger in check for now. His hands curled into fists and his face tightened up, the memories fueling his rage constantly. Soon, he heard the light clank of chain, as the chains drew closer the clank and rattle grew louder. He sat up straight and opened his eyes, the silver streaks on the side glowing lightly in the candle light as he waited for the Shackled to come. Soon enough, one appeared, materializing from the floor with its eyes lowered to the floor. The rattle ceased as it stood still in Necrox?s room. Necrox kept his eyes forward as he spoke to the nobody out loud. ?What news do you have for me? Have you any leads on him?? The nobody lowered its head to Necrox, responding through a mind link. No master, he seems to not exist. He hides too well for us to track, I am sorry master. Necrox remained sitting, but a chain slowly creped out from his black sleeve and slithered across the ground towards the nobody. The nobody did nothing but watch as the chain wound around its leg then moved up until it was wrapped around its body. It then began to constrict, tightening slowly around the Shackled. The nobody remained still and did nothing; the chained continued to wrap tighter and tighter, the edges cutting into the black body of the manifestation. Necrox would have continued to tighten until the nobody no longer existed, but, Necrox was interrupted by a Dusk that suddenly appeared. Causing Necrox to loosen the chain drastically, speaking to the Dusk with obvious anger and irritation in his voice. ?What do you want Dusk?? Your majesty? ?Your majesty, not mine.? The Dusk bowed its head the spoke again. My majesty requests that you come to the Chamber of Dying Echoes. It is urgent. Necrox growled, and then looked to the Dusk. ?Tell me, how does it feel to be cut open and turned into nothing but darkness?? The Dusk had a confused look on its face, before it knew what was happening, Necrox?s chain lunged out at the dusk and secured it tightly. Squeezing around the Dusk, Necrox could hear the screams coming from the Dusk as the chains razor edges dug deeper into the nobody. Then, with one quick tug, the nobody disappeared into a puff of darkness. The chain retracted back into Necrox?s sleeve and he stood up, the Shackled nobody keeping his eyes on his master. Necrox walked over the wall and placed his hand on the cool metal, and in an instant, the metal wall opened up into a doorway. Necrox walking through the door way, his nobody following behind. The nobody had its chains moving more radically then normal, he had taught them that since they couldn?t always keep check of their surroundings that they should let their chains do the watch as they keep their focus a head. Necrox made his way to the Chamber, not in any real rush to meet the others, but anxious to get away from the rattling of the Shackled. Before he entered the chamber he turned to his nobody and began to speak. ?Stay nearby and be ready to come quickly if called.? The nobody bowed his head and vanished. Necrox entered the chamber loudly, his boot steps sounding louder due to the silence of the room. His face focused ahead of him, but his eyes wondered from face to face. His anger growing as each face came in view, he came to a stop and pulled out his chair and seated himself. Placing his hand and arms on the table as he slowly looked around the room, all eyes were on him for a few more moments then they went back to their business. Necrox continued to observe the others. Engel
Click click click. Szzzz... Aixarael's guitar hummed to life, the amplifier by the bedstand giving a few clicks and humming quietly. Slipping it over his shoulder, he began to strum lightly on the strings, sending out a reverbation through his walls in The Castle that Never Was. It started out low and soft, dark undertones mixed with something a little more sinister. He began to pluck and strum faster, more sharp and yet fluid movements along the neck, choking sounds out of the strings. Eventually, his fingers were going too fast to tell where they were, the sound of music filling his quarters. He only stopped when one of the Dancers phased through the wall, movements graceful and swift. Disturbing his alone time was annoying enough, and sending in a mere Dusk didn't make it much better. Though...this meeting might be kind of...enjoyable. Sakura
Xaria continued past Marax, winding through the pathways until she reached a large brown door with iron braces on it. She held up a hand to signal for the HadShells to guard as she slipped through the door, closing it tightly behind her. She glanced at the area within the door, it was a strange room, with only a couple of metres of tile around the huge chamber. In the centre was a large, deep pit, taking up most of the room, and it was full of water. Xaria walked over to the corner where there was a refridgerator looking device, and from it she removed a large piece of meat. With a grimace she walked to the edge and tossed it into the pit, watching as bubbles were released from somewhere beneath the surface. A large serpent rose, rearing its large head and snapping up the meat. It eyed Xaria before bowing its head. She nodded and stroked the top softly before it started to sink beneath the surface once again, falling into another slumber. It was a leviathan that had served as somewhat of a pet for many years. It had originally terrorised the seas of a world before she captured it and encased it in the pit, the chamber having many spells stopping it from escaping. Now it doesn't fight to escape, having finally submitted to Xaria's dominance. All it does is sleep unless called on or when expecting a feeding, which is at the exact same time every day, three times a day. Now that she had handled her business it was time to get to the meeting. She exited the large door, and walked back into the hall where her two HardShells stood. She nodded to them and walked with them flanking her, keeping pace with her easily with large strides and a satisfactory speed, their steps echoing through the quiet passage. She stopped, the two guards halted in their steps behind her as a Dusk materialised before them. The three looked at the small creature. "What is it?" she questioned in her cool voice. This is a reminder that your presence is requested in the Chamber of Dying Echoes "I'm on my way, if you'll excuse me, you're holding me up from reaching said destination." she waved, not waiting for a reply as she began walking forward. The dusk swiftly moved out of the way, staying against the wall as the woman and her large guards continued on their path. I wish you'd allow us to destroy the messengers, Mistress. One of the HardShells growled. "You know that's not how I like to do things." she replied simply, following the straightforward corridors. We wish you were more brash, Mistress. The other commented. Xaria smiled, she knew that they all hoped she would be more abusive like some of the other Organization members, but never the less they still respect her and obey her as much as they would to someone else. She's actually glad that they're opinionated because she can have conversations with them when she's bored. She arrived at the large doors of the Chamber of Dying Echoes and the HardShells swung open the doors for her, allowing her entrance. Xaria nodded and walked through, one followed behind her while the other closed the door and stood guard outside. The one that followed her waited just on the inside with the other nobodies that were there. "Apologies for the delay of my arrival. The leviathan had to be fed." she bowed to Onix who sat at the head of the table. "Understood. Welcome Xaria." he nodded easily. Xaria walked over to her chair which was between Marax and Necrox. She slid into it and sat quietly, having brief conversation with Marax while the group waited for the last three members to arrive.
Revelation
Soft hums echoed through the cavernous hallways of the Castle That Never Was. A beautiful ringing seemed to match these hums as it passed through the rooms. Through the light of the window panes and from the flames of the candles, it showed to be Nixara wandering the halls. She always found herself walking down the large halls of the castle, amusing herself with the devices around her. She took a strange liking towards its solemnity, taking in the solace that surrounded the castle. As she passed by one of the windows, Nixara had a sudden feeling to rest her arms on the sill and look out towards the scenery. Though it wasn?t something grand or exciting, the scenery- like the castle?s atmosphere- soothed her. She despised all that was within the castle but still, something within had calmed her soul- at least what was left of it. Still standing near the window, faint whispers began to rise from the shadows. Nixara paid it no heed and ignored it until it became much too unbearable. She snapped a finger and the whispers ended, leaving only a Kabuki nobody standing beside her. Its blades glinted in the light of the flame and its direful sounds traced the air with menace. Once again the whispers began, only this time it wasn?t as intense as before. One of the Dusks informed me that they need to speak with you. Nixara kept looking out the window as the nobody spoke to her. They said it was important, something about a message from Onix. At that moment, Nixara stood up straight and looked over the Kabuki. Turning around, she waved a hand and walked on from where she stood. A Dusk nobody appeared behind her and said, You?re summoned to the Chamber of Dying Echoes. At that moment, Nixara stopped and turned slowly to look at the Dusk. It cowered in her presence, the same way people cowered before Onix. ?Are you frightened right now?? The Dusk shivered but no reply. ?I despise being interrupted on my walks, do you understand that?? Walking away, Nixara stated, ?I hate repeating myself so take this as your only warning.?
TheResplendent
Marax and Xaria continued to conversate as the remaining members of the order showed up. Onix greeted them as they sat and completed the circular formation. Onix discussed in little detail the troubles that Aixarael's squad had during their latest excursion against the Endless. Marax sighed to himself, he knew that when the going got tough it usually meant they were to intervene. They meaning Onix's team, of which Marax was a member of alongside Kaxkel and Xinikk. Marax served as the team's intimidation factor and used his might to put foes from giant groups to single defiants into disarray. Marax enjoyed killing his enemies in the most outward and extravagent fashion, where as Kaxkel was more the silent and non-chalant type who would strike a foe down without them knowing it until it happened. Marax stood in his place and addressed Onix respectfully. "Are we to quell this Endless uprising oursevles, my lord?" "Indeed we must put a stop to it, the 13th Order must not lose sight of our goals, which means we must eradicate this immediete threat to us." Onix replied. Xinikk rolled her eyes and turned her head to Marax. "Pssh! Sit down boy scout. Always over anxious to get out there, I'll try to leave some for you to kill anyway." She said with a crooked smile, intendnig to get under Marax's skin. "Hmph. Unmannered brat, you do not contribute nearly half of what I do to this organization. If it weren't for your ineptitude holding us back..." "Please, silence yourselves! I do not wish to hear your squabbles right now. You two will have to work together. Now, i will assign everyone their role." Onix said, interuppting the exchange of words. * * * * * OOC: Since i personally wouldn't like to see this die down already, here's a "trying to revive" post to see if it can take off again, even if for a little while.
