Tifa looked at the man that had just spoken. She knew the people that she could trust thus far Mayhony and Ronyo. She didnt know if she could trust this Drou yet. She thought of an excuse to get closer up to him. To look into his eyes.

Tifa walked up to the man and put out her arm and looked at his eyes. "Hello, I'm Tiffany but you can call me Tifa," she said shyly like she did with Ronyo. She looked into his blue grey eyes. "Looks like you've had a horrid past."

"You're right..My pranets where killed because of a debt they couldn't pay of & You think being adopted by a rich family would be good but they used me to help their sons lrean swordsmenship but they could never beat me & I fought their dad to leave..I won but I got this scar...."Drou ran his fingers tips all thw way down the scar.

[COLOR=DarkOrange][SIZE=3][FONT=Trebuchet MS]"Oh you have a scar?" Tifa said in shock. "I never noticed! I'm sorry. Sorry i never mentioned," Tifa said still awestruck.

Everyone's jaw dropped in the room.

"Well looks like we have a person who can see if people are telling the truth or not," Mayhony said. "That might come in handy..."

Tifa turned to look at Mayhony. "Yea i've had to learn how to do that, people always lie to me. I'm able to see they're past and read minds too. One day when I was working a few other thieves before, i was curious because on kept lying to me. one day when i looked into her eyes, i just saw her past. I dont know what happened. Then one day when I was pretty sure she was lying, I looked into her eyes again and saw that she was lying. I don't really know. It's too hard to explain."

Everyone was still looking at her in awestruck.

"What?" asked Tifa getting scared.[/FONT][/SIZE][/COLOR]

"thats very neat.I argree with Mayhony.That power of yours could be help full."Drou smiled

All Tifa could do was smile and turn cherry red.

"Does anyone know the names of people here?"

"No i really don't..."Drou shook his head,His left hand on resting on his sword handle.

?I do believe the man with the scar is Drou, and of course you?ve meet are leader Mayhony. The man in black hasn?t given his name yet. The others include a women named Dawn, and another I also have not heard profess a name.?

Ronyo looked around the room as he gave his little role call. Then he smiled and looked at Mayhony.

?For whatever reason it seems are other friends have been delayed. I think we should go ahead and start this meeting without them. It will be easy to fill them in later.?

"Looks like we'll have to wait then. Well we can get to know each other while we wait for the others. "Said Tifa. "You go first Drou," Tifa said quickly.

"I'm great at close rang & far range kills But I'm a very nice guy once you get to know me.This sword was passed down in my family & all i have left of my family."Drou looked down real quick then looked up.

"Well, um... I'm Tiffany but you can call me Tifa... um... I'm the shy type of person so if I don't talk much, sorry. Once you get to know me though, I'm a [U][B]VERY[/B][/U] very fun person to be around. Or at least that's what my friends said before they were... nevermind that part," Tifa said. "Well, I may be shy, but I'm never afraid to fight, especially if its someone special..." Tifa quickly glanced at Drou and quickly turned her head. "O yeah, people who never really got to know me say I'm quite an enigma... and that's pretty much it."

Drou looked at Tifa & turned abit red.He got up & as he passed Tifa going to his room his hand touched hers for a moment.

Tifa gasped in shock and turned to where Drou was walking. She then turned to Mayhony.
"Mayhony, is the attic my room now?" Tifa asked.
"Yeah, I guess," Mayhony said and shrugged.
"Okay thanks." Tifa turned back to face Drou. "Drou! Wait!"
Drou came to a halt and turned around. "Yes?"
"Um..." Tifa hesitated to say something to make him stay. "You should wait here with the rest of us," Tifa said blushing and smiling at him.
"Hmm..." Drou thought for a moment." 'Kay."
Tifa headed for the couch and sat down, and Drou sat right next to her. She put her hand down on the couch and so did Drou right after Tifa, resulting in them holding hands. They both looked down, quickly pulled away and blushed.

Ronyo just gave a smile to the two on the couch.

?well then I guess I?m next. I?m a nature lover. Grew up in for a good portion of my life, so I usually stick to the woods. This is my first job with others. Most of the time my only partners are these two on my back,? Ronyo glanced slightly to his swords, ?I seem to have learned how to read signs the trees, animals, and the wind make. Its not perfect but it allows me to stay one step ahead when need be.?

Ronyo smiled and turned to stare out the window. The water from the rain still dripped from his face and cloths. He didn?t bother to wipe any of it off. It seemed to calm him almost.

'I give them three days.'
She smirked at herself and nodded.
"Alright. I told you that we wake up bright and early in the morning and we do so don't stay up much later then you have to."
She shot at look at the two on the couch peirceing them with a knowing gaze.
"One other thing, this place is surounded by woods, there are animals in these woods, wolves, bears, do not wander alone unless you want to be eaten."
This time she looked at Ronyo and raised an eye brow in his direction.
"Last but not least, I expect no fighting between the members of this group. You have problems, take care of them after we do what we need to do."
She looked around seeing for the most part understanding gazes.
"Alright, till tomarrow when we decide which teams have shower first, girls have it at night guys have it in the morning. That way it doesn't take forever for us to get out of here. Alot of us women have fairly long hair. That's it for tonight. It's just now turning sundown, do what you have to do ladies and then I'd advise you all to get some sleep. I'm not an easy teacher. Good night everyone."
She walked away and down to the basement seeing the black clad man follow her, after all he was shareing her room. She arched an eyebrow and shrugged a feeling of familarity off as she pulled out a giant black scythe from under the bed and began to sharpen the already razor sharp edge to an even deadlier point. She racked her thoughts of who this man could be since he had yet to tell her and she couldn't see his face to tell. She was lost but part of her, after seeing what he could do in the bar, was glad he was on her side.[/COLOR][/B]

[i]Vahn steped outside and breathed that fresh air in he never felt this alive normal only when a new "project" began and he frankly was kinda excited. giving up on the idea to get some sleep right away Vahn went for a run to clear his head and to drain off some of his untapped energy. Suddenly as he was coming to a clearing he heared footsteps quickly he slid into the shadows behind a tree and decieded to see what was up. looking out he saw a rather fast moving humaniod shape not far ahead. Reaching into his pouch he pulled out his blowgun and sleep darts and fired one at the shape. Running up to the knocked out form he pulled out a kunai and knelt to inspect the body.[/i]

Vahn: Well now let see what we....

???: ha now i got your attention.

Vahn: who are you?

???: that doesn't matter right now but right now i want you to listen i have a very very VERY good deal for you my young friend which can make you rich enough to live in peace for a long time....

Vahn: what do you want from me and why should i trust you?

???: lets just say the lady your working for has a bit of a record of not playing fair with others and that my little deal will make sure she doen't mess with that gem.

Vahn: go on i am listening

???: now all i want is for you to give me a heads up when she plans to swip the jewel and i will take care of her and her companions and make sure your fre to go and a good wad of cash in your pocket.

Vahn: let me think about it.

Mayhony said sleep. Ha, like that was going to be easy tonight. So much was running through his mind. He had found a tree close to the house were he could relax, and at the same time watch for anything going on. Things were moving fast now that he had joined this band of thieves. Only time could tell him if he had made the right path in joining. So many new faces and perceptions on the world. He had only known the woods for so long people seemed like the wild animals to him. People seem to always have secret motives on everything. In that way he liked the animals more. For it was always clear what they wanted from someone or something.

?People puzzle me, they seem to never be satisfied. Then again what am I saying I?m a thief too. Everyone seems to have different reasons for taking this job. Some seem to enjoy the rush, some the riches, and others?well others I still have no clue,? a raven landed on the branch adjacent to his,? what do you think? Am I just thinking to hard about all this, or is some true??

The raven gave him a look of understanding and tilted its head as if in thought. Suddenly the bird took off from a noise in the distant. Ronyo froze like the branch he sat on. The tree gave him all the cover he needed but still he was on edge. He saw a figure running back towards the house. As it got closer he could see it was one of his teammates. The one who still hadn?t introduced himself formally. The rain hadn?t let up, which added to Ronyo?s cover, but his tree acted as an umbrella. The soggy ground made the runners tracks clear. Once Ronyo?s fellow bandit was inside Ronyo began to follow the tracks back via the trees. It was most likely nothing, but Ronyo just wanted to make sure. He found a point were the tracks changed dramatically. Only the tops of his feet made indentions at points showing fast movement. A large patch of mud was flattened and spread out.

?something fell here, and judging by my comrades tracks I?ll gamble he took whatever it was down.?

But the flattened area didn?t silhouette a animal but more closer to a human.

?Maybe are friend took care of an unwanted guest but then where is the body. Mayhony did stress no unnecessary killing maybe he remembered that. Hmm, a lot of maybes here.?

Ronyo didn?t have enough to say anything for certain. Who was he to question someone?s motives for taking a run at night. He lived out here after all. He returned to his tree near the house and nestled in for the night. Only one night has past and already some much has happened. Tomorrow could only get more intense.

Tifa slowly made her way up to the attic and then to the bed. She took off her shoes, put them beside her bed, and set her bow and arrow beside her bed. Tifa slowly slipped under the covers and slowly shut her eyes.

A few minutes later, her eyes shot open. [I]"What happened today downstairs? With me and Drou? Does he like me? Nah it can't be possible. It was just a coincidence. I put my hand down, he put his down... but it was on top of mine... No that's not possible. Because if it is... No. What am I thinking? Who would like me?"[/I] Tifa thought to herself. [I]"I have too much on my mind. I need to relax."[/I]

Tifa put on her shoes, grabbed her bow and arrow, and went downstairs and walked outside. When she got outside, she just started walking around the house. [I]"Wow it's still raining,"[/I] TIfa thought.[I]"Mayhony said not to be outside alone... O well I'll stay close to the house."[/I]

Tifa went up to a tree and carved a target onto it. She took a few giant steps back. Tifa turned around, pulled out her bow and an arrow and prepared herself for a shot. Suddenly, someone grabbed her from behind, making her drop her bow and arrow. The person took her arms and put them behind her back and pushed her up against a tree. Tifa screamed like she was dying in Hell.

"Who are you and what are you doing here?" the voice said.

[I]"I know that voice!" [/I] Tifa thought. "Ronyo?"

"Tifa?" Ronyo asked confused. "Sorry," Ronyo said releasing Tifa from his hold.

"It's okay," Tifa said looking at Ronyo.

"What are you doing out here?" Ronyo asked.

"Just trying to relax. There's been a lot of stuff on my mind and rain is very peacefull to me. What about you?"

Drou walked to the back of the house & stood there thinking'I wonder if Tifa knows that I like her..I hope..'Before Drou could finsh that thought,A gun shot rang out & a bullet whized past his head.Drou turned to his side & there stood Zin Maydale,Class a theif tracker & his gang of ten man."Long time no see Drou!""ZIN!!!!"Drou pulled out ten stars & killed every guy with Zin With a star in their thoarts."Now it's only me & You Zin!!"Drou drew his sword & put it with the blade next to his arm."You kill me Drou??HA!!!You couldn't kil,l me on your last job!!!"Drou's eyebrow twiched."Thats because you ran away..."Zin rasied his gun."So?"Drou ran at Zin."YOU FOOL!!!!"Another shot rang out & Drou rolled forward to dodge it & when he got up he bourht his sword up & a upward slash & cut Zin head off.His body fall back sparying blood on the ground."Poor Zin...I only killed you because you where a theart for this job..."Drou brought his sword down to his side.

?Yes it calms me down as well. The drops almost seem to have a cleansing feel to them. My head clears and I can think better.?

Ronyo smiled and looked down to see what Tifa had dropped. It was a bow and an arrow. He picked both up and looked at the tree behind Tifa.

?An archer, well that?s good to see. In this age of guns it?s nice to see the tried and true still practiced. Although I don?t think the tree would appreciate being shot by something that was made from one of his kin. Trees have feelings, and scars, too. However trees show all their scars weather it be inner or outer. A tree hurt from the inside will droop and seem to be weeping. Its leaves will lose their shine and come off a dull green.?

?You seem to be able to read trees like I do people,? Tifa smiled.

?I wouldn?t go that far. Trees are much easier to read then people. As I said they hide nothing and keep only the secrets said by the wind.?

Ronyo looked at the archer and noticed her looking in the distance. She seemed to be listening but at the same time thinking.

?Well, if I had to make my first deduction on a person, I?d have to say you?re troubled by thoughts.?

?Huh?oh sorry. I guess I?d have to give you an A on that try. For I am a bit confused,? Tifa said as she looked back into the distance.

?Care to share your secrets good wind to this humble tree??

Tifa giggled, then smiled, ?Well as long as you stay as silent as a tree, I see no reason why?..?

She was cut short by the sound of a gun shot. They both reacted quickly to the blast. Ronyo tossed the bow and arrow back to their owner and took off at a swift pace to the back of the house, his Fangs bared. Tifa followed close behind with an arrow knocked and ready. They found Drou standing around a ring of dead men. All had a throwing star protruding from their necks, all but one. The one at Drou?s feet was missing his head.

?Drou, what happened here? Is everything alright??

?Just a previous job?s loose ends that needed tying up,? Drou said as he whipped his blade on the soft grass below.

"Zin was a class A tracker & He would have killed everyone here if not for me..."Drou walked to the door & as he passed tifa his hand touched hers again.He made his way to his room & started to clean his stars off."I mainy wanted to keep Tifa safe."Drou said to himself.

[I]There he goes again with the touching...[/I] Tifa thought to herself while looking at Drou in the distance. [I]Well then that means... yeah he does. I'll let him make the first move."[/I] She smiled to herself and giggled. "Well I guess we'll tell him thanksies in the morning," Tifa said to Ronyo. He smiled. "Yeah."

Tifa and Ronyo made they're way back to the house. "Say Ronyo, what were you saying before we went to see what that noise was?"

Something about the attack didn?t sit well with Ronyo. All the way out here for one man didn?t?.

?Ronyo did you hear me, what were you saying before we went to see what that noise was?" Tifa asked again.

?Oh, I?m sorry Tifa. Just thinking is all. I was asking if you would like to talk about what?s on your mind. It usually makes me feel better when I can tell someone, or in my case something, about what troubles me.?

Ronyo stopped in is tracks and looked back towards the spot of the attack. Drou said this guy was a class A assassin, but he came in with what seemed like no intelligence. Surly a tracker would have known him and Tifa were also outside and within ear shot. But there was a gun shot, and Ronyo didn?t remember Drou carrying a side arm. That meant the tracker fired?..it didn?t add up. Why would a class A tracker take such a risk in killing one man. Suddenly Ronyo realized Tifa was staring at him.

?Oh no, I did it again didn?t I. I?m sorry Tifa.?

?It looks like you have things on your mind as well. Maybe we can both be trees for one and other,? Tifa said with a smile.

?Haha, yeah, maybe. Guess I should take my own advice huh? Well I think enough of Mayhony?s rules have been broken for one night. Let?s head back to the front of the house and share what?s on our minds. If anyone asks your just helping me keep watch for awhile just incase the assassin?s men want revenge or something like that.?

Tifa smiled and nodded, and the two walked around to the front of the house. Although Ronyo?s mind was still on the puzzle of this assassin, who went out of his way to kill Drou in such a rushed manner.
