Drou phosilhed the stars till they shone & put them up."I wonder what Zin wanted...He wasn't like that when I was last fighting him...Unless...No,I'm overthinking it."Drou changed into blue shorts & a mesh shirt to keep dry.Drou put his black robe on & walked out side with the hood on.Drou walked into the forest & Found something that sent a chill down his spine."No way...."Sitting there was a rocket laucnher & lots of ammo for it.Drou grabed it & some ammo & brought it back to the house."Thats what he was planing...."Drou set the stuff down on the floor of his bedroom."It'll come in handy though."Drou put the robe on a hook to dry.

Vahn: It can't be...

Vahn: These kind of assassins aren't cheap. He must have pissed of someone with alot of money to have them sending assassins after them.

Mayhony: What in the blazes is going on out here! Who just killed a troup of of people in my front yard!

Drou: I am afraid that would be me. Not to mention they were asssassins

Mayhony: So knock them out their is no need to kill!

Vahn:Ruka Taikua ain't an easy one to knock out Mayhony

Mayhony: What is that suppose to mean huh? besides who is this Ruka guy?

Vahn: An class A assassin whom i know from personal experince trust me Drou here caught him off guard and got lucky.

No one is supposed to know that Mayhony's place is back there. It's back there for a reason. And Anime, do me a favor. Less godmoding. Your making your character sound high and mighty, tone it down just a litte, the raid that she's taking them on is a class A. You beating those others makes it kinda no challange and thats not a good thing. Besides that everything sounds good, even though I'm kinda lost in my own story...lol.

Mayhony drug Drou into the house and threw him onto the couch.
"You wanna get yourself killed before the damn raid?!"
He just looked at her.
"No matter what you think start boy, your not the best! Got it? Now go to bed! All of you! We have a big day tomarrow."
She stomped back down to her room and hit the bed screaming out her frustration into her pillow.
"Damn smart asses think that they know everything! I hope they do get them selves killed! Maybe then it'll be quieter around here!"
She threw her black satin pillow againt the far wall, straightend her hair and cleared her throat as she felt her anger flareing down. She stood and walked over retriveing the pillow and going to her clothes chest and pulling out a pair of think shrot shorts and a thin long sleeve white shirt, she stripped out of her clothes and pulled on her night clothes and sat on the bed brushing her hair going over what had happened that day. She smiled gently and decided that everything had gone pretty well, even though she hadn't been able to show off what she was made of. She shrugged her shoulders and fell back onto the bed and let her breath out and rolled onto her side and cuddled to the pillow and sighed as she felt sleep taking her and then opened her eyes slightly to look at her new room mate and propped her self up on her elbow and looked at him.
"I don't have an extra bed so we have to share. Hope you don't mind Black Satin sheets. They're in all the rooms. More comfortable. And don't worry I don't move around that much when I sleep."
She frowned at herself as she realized she was having a one sided converstation and flopped back into her pillow scowling at her slef. She must have sounded so juvinille...but what made her the most angry is why did she care? She didn't even have an idea on what this guy looked like. She sighed and sat up looking at him again.
"Are you ever gonna take that thing off? Or are you sleeping in it? And do you ever talk?"
She sat there looking at him knowing that she looked like an idiot and probably sounded like one as well. Hell she didn't even know if he knew what she was saying or could talk himself. she shrugged as she got nothing from him and went to sleep.

She streched as she woke up and stood pulling on her black satin robe and pulled her hair into a clip and set up the stairs and walked past Ronyo as he looked through cupboards and the fidge looking for decent food.
"There's a chicken coupe in back and a smoke house as well where you can get fresh egs and bacon. If you want it."
She noticed him watching as she took the coffe pot off the burner with out waiting for it to finish filling and poured her self a cup of coffe from her own coffe pot near the window and taking a sip of it black.
"I have it on auto. You can have some if you like it really strong."
She walked outside onto her pourch and smiled as she grabbed hold of a long rope and pulled Ronyo jumped slightly as a long, loud ring of a deep bell went through the house.
"Morning everyone! Time to get up! Let's go! Breakfast and coffe time!"
She winked at Ronyo and walked through the house bending over and picking up a small phone. He could hear her small talk through the door.
"Hey Charge. Yeah. I know.Hey no worries. Yeah whatever. Look Charge, I need a solid you owe me.Ha, yes, that's it. Can you have them here by noon? Yeah, I have the perfect guy to use them. Don't worry he'll do you proud. Yeah. Great see you soon. Good to see you found the eggs and what not."
She hung up the phone and looked at Ronyo smileing big and winking at him again before she went downstaris and got dressed.[/COLOR][/B]

Ronyo caught both winks and each time made him think. He was busy on the eggs and bacon at the moment so couldn?t think to hard or?

?Ouch! Damn that hurts.?

Grease had leapt onto his, now, ungloved hand that held the skillet. He gripped the skillet hard so as not to drop it and returned his full attention to his cooking. He did know what he was doing, with his father being gone at work for most of his youth, he just slipped. Ronyo had caught only faint parts of Mayhony?s conversation, but not enough to make any idea of what she was talking about. He finished his cooking and placed everything on a table. He took a few strips of bacon for himself and walked outside. As he ate he studied the surroundings again and again trying to get an idea of this vault. He also began to wonder how they were going to be split up. He finished off his bacon and took another good hard look around. He closed his eyes and let the forest speak to him on its terms. The wind brought forth smells of early morning dew and wet vegetation. He bent low and placed his hands to the earth. The ground remained still and calm, meaning nothing was moving much as of yet. He opened his eyes and stared at the trees, and watched them sway with the gentle breezes that blew by. The wind was coming out of the south and changing slightly to the west. Ronyo stood up and smiled the voices of nature always calmed him down when he had a lot on his mind. Whatever happened he would be ready, and was starting to get anxious about the test. Ronyo walked back inside and waited on the others to get up.

Tifa slowly opened her eyes. She was looking at the ceiling. Tifa sat up quickly in the bed.

[I]Where am I?[/I] She thought to herself. [I]O yeah, I'm with Mayhony.[/I] The evening before quickly passed through her eyes as she slipped on her shoes beside her bed. She put her bow and arrow on her back, kinda like how Ronyo carries his swords. [I]I should've done this a long time ago! Carrying it in my hand gets annoying after a while.[/I]

Tifa fixed her bed and looked in the mirror real quick. Her hair was sticking up. She quickly patted it down and headed out the door and went downstairs.

Tifa walked in silently, so nobody noticed her untill she sneezed. Everyone turned around. "Morning all," Tifa said as she walked to the table with food on it. [I]I wonder how we're gonna be paired up? O well. Let Mayhony decide. Well duh she's the leader.[/I]tifa though to herself and chuckled.

"I Don't care..."Drou took a piece of toast & started eating.He toyught back to his past.When he had to fight.

"You Will help my son train young man."Said a old cubby rich man.He shoved drou into the ring & gave him a sword"Get to it!"He had a mean tone in his voice.A boy of 7 ran at drou with sword ready & all Drou could do was dodge the attack."I Don't want to fight!!"The old man smiled"Then i guess you will die..."A chill went down his spine & he fight with the only thought in his mind....To stay alive.

Ronyo & Tifa Where looking at Drou for he had a killer look in his eyes."You alright??"They both asked at the same time."Huh?Oh yeah..."Drou had spaced out as well."You had a evil look in you eyes..."Tifa said abit worryed."Something happened to me where i had to fight Or Die....& that came out last night with those guys..."Drou looked down to avoid their gazes.

"Yeah, I could tell. I could, well sense it. It's kinda a creepy crawly feeling," Tifa said looking at Drou still. Drou looked up. Tifa's and Drou's eyes met. Tifa just went into a trance seeing all of Drou's past and his experiences. Her eyes slowly got heavier and heavier, untill they eventually shut. Everything went black and Tifa fell to the floor.

Tifa woke up moments later in Ronyo's arms and Drou hovering above her. "Wha happened?" Tifa asked rubbing her head.

"We don't really know," Drou said looking down at her. "You were just looking at me and you fainted." Drou paused. "Did you see something in my past? It looked like you were in a trance."

"Yea, I think so. I saw what you were talking about earlier. I'm gonna go outside and get some fresh air."
Tifa struggled standing up so Drou helped her up by pulling on her hand. Drou pulled to hard and Tifa was still a bit wobbly from the faint so she colasped onto Drou.
"Oh I'm sorry!" Tifa said.
Drou just smiled. "No problem."

Tifa walked out the door and just stood there in the peace and quite. She closed her eyes and tried to think happy thoughts. THen Drou came outside and stood next to her.

"Can I ask you something?" Drou said.
Tifa turned to face him. "Yeah what?" She said as her wine red eyes shone in the sunlight.

"Yes I do."Tifa looked at Drou & give him a kiss on the cheeck.
Drou turned even red."I just can't contorl myself when i have to fight....I try but I never can..."Tifa smiled"I'll help you with that."Drou looked shocked"Really?"Tifa Smiled more."Really."

Ronyo watched as Tifa and Drou walked outside. Tifa?s gift was quite remarkable; it gave her the ability to see into a person?s past. Such a gift would come in handy if interrogation became needed in there job. Ronyo turned to watch the two outside and smiled as he saw them converse with spots of scarlet playing on their checks.

?[I]So, their finally getting it out. I was wondering how long it would take[/I].?

It was strange, Ronyo thought, that in all of one night so much had happened. In just one night Ronyo had seen more human emotion then he had seen in his life. The strangest part was this all came about over a plane to steal something. None of these people would ever have meet if not for this job, if not for Mayhony?s love of the city, if not for the poor state the city was in, if not?.for any of it. It all seemed to fit together like a jigsaw puzzle. Each piece looking so different from each other but finding a way to fit together just right. Ronyo blinked as he came out of his thoughts and looked around. Only the four of them were up at the moment.

?[I]Mayhony needs to ring that bell again, or blow something up. These people sleep like the dead[/I].?

Mayhony jumped up the stiars that led to the basement and laughed as she spooked Ronyo from his thoughts.
"Wake up pal, I got something for ya."
She ran outside and smiled as a beat up jeep pulled into the drive.
"Howard Charge. Good to see you old man."
"I may be old but I can still whip you."
She laughed and gave him a hug.
"So where is this lad that you say can handle the Spark Gloves?"
"Right here. His name is Ronyo."
Howard pulled out two large silver and gold gloves. He grabbed Ronyo and pulled him close slipping the gloves over his hands, they went allthe way to the young man's elbows. Mayhony smiled as Ronyo looked at her confused. She looked at the the gloves and then back at Howard.
"hey old man, how do you turn them on?'
He grabbed hold of Ronyo's arms and clicked the gloves together making them spark.
"There's Zynthonite in the tips so that when you tap them together the electric charge goes through them and you have Spark Gloves. Use them wisely and well. You hit a person with those for longer then a second and you could kill them. They're quick hit weapons."
Mayhony smiled and looked at him proudly.
"There ya go. I'm gonna go get everyone else ready to go."
"Go?"
"Running. We need to warm up."
She left the two to talk and ran up the stairs jumping up and rinning the bell again getting everyone up.
"Let's go. I would advice you all to leave your heavy cloaks and clothes here. We are going for a run."
She jogged out the door and turned jogging in place.
"Well follow me."
She took off at a light run towards the woods.[/COLOR] [/B]

Ronyo smiled and looked over the gloves carefully.

Thank you Mr. Charge, I will make sure they?re given the proper respect when handled.?

Ronyo shook the mans hand and looked over to see Mayhony and the others begin their run. He smiled and thanked Howard again, and ran over and up his tree. He had stashed his bag up here in a nice sized owl hole. The bird had flown the coop already so it gave Ronyo a nice storage area. Ronyo put his new equipment in his bag for safe keeping. He shouldn?t need them on a quick run through the woods., but planed to get in plenty of practice with them and his swords. He smiled again and took off through the tree tops and a brisk pace. He needed to catch up with the others. Thanks to the trees he managed to catch up to them and keep pace. He looked down and caught Mayhony?s glance. He waved and gave a thumbs up in thanks until he could tell her face to face. He continued to follow his teammates via the trees, and had fun in crossing over them now and again.

Drou took off his cloack & had a mesh shirt on under that.He looked at Tifa & started to run.His chains came out of his shirt & moved around.One was a symbol meaning swordsmen & the other was a dragon pendent.'The zeal crytasl wont be easy to steal....'Drou thought.He rembered how the last two ammpents he made & they bothed failed.'Poor souls who got kiulled in those trys..incudeing the teams...'He thought to him self again.

[COLOR=DarkGreen][SIZE=1]Tifa quickly ran after Drou. Right away, Tifa was already running side-by-side with him. "Hai!" Tifa said quickly and waving.
Drou's jaw dropped. "Hi!" He said waving back."You run pretty fast," Drou said to Tifa.

"Hehe thanks," Tifa said. Their eyes met again, and Tifa saw what Drou was thinking. "Okay, I'm up for it!" Tifa said to Drou.

"Um... up to what?" Drou questioned.

"What your thinking! A race!"

"Oh okay," Drou said smiling.

"First one to get to Mayhony wins!" Tifa said.

"Okay!" Drou said smiling.

[I]"HEHE... Finally a way to show my skills in front of Mayhony,"[/I] Tifa thought to herself.

She quickly pulled in front of Drou. "Damn she's REALLY fast!"

[i] laughing at the thought of running at this speed for a while Vahn reliezed perhaps he should spice things up a bit and jogged off the path and started a series of leaps into a near by tree. As he reached the top and lept off and preformed a powerful flip in the air grabing a nearby branch and swinging himself on it and over it on to another and contiuned this process keeping up with the group the whole time.

Vahn: ahh much better i can run anytime but this helps my flexability alot.

[i] Quickly preforming a expert flying jump onto another branch Vahn quickly dropped down again and started spirinting turning to Mayhony.[/i]

Vahn:Sorry needed to stretch a few muscles for some reason beds get me all cramped up i sleep better on tree branchs.

Mayhony: my we are a strange one arn't we?

Vahn: perhaps i will tell you why sometime but for now where are we going?

Drou ran faster & his sword swayed wildy.His chains hit him in his face every now & then but he ingored those.Drou jumped over a hole in the ground & passed Tifa & made it to Mayhony"This jobs not going to be easy."

"I already know that."Mayhony said.

"No..I mean the last two trys I was on them & Me & one other person & tryed twice where killed,Thats what i mean."Drou had a tone in his voice

"I'll take that into considersion Drou."Mayhony smirked for alittle bit.

[COLOR=Purple][B]Mayhony smiled decideing it was time for some fun, she stopped and seemed to dissapere.
She smiled as she slunk in the shadows of the trees, not maiking a sound, she jumped up into a tree, not disturnbing a leaf or making any noise. SHe dropped down 50 feet away from where they were all looking around for her. She let out a loud whistle and smiled as their jaws dropped. Tifa grabbed ehr arm.
"How did you do that?"
"It's a skill you'll learn and or hone while your here. Now Vahn, an answer to your qeustion, where are we going? We're going through here. You'll be paried up with your room mates. If you don't have one, Your stuck with the other that doesnt have one. Tifa, you and nature boy are paired up."
She smiled and nodded to everyone, you go through here I nkow the only way sround and I won't be moving till you all leave so I suggest you go through."
Vahn looked at her.
"Around?"
"I rigged this place with traps. It's my traing area. Now it's your test. Get through alive and you'll see where we're going."
They all nodded and paird off settting out into the woods. She looked back and up at Nanashi, her mind whiling.
"You can come with me, I want to talk to you anyways now that we're out of ear shot of the twerps and wanna be know it alls."
She took a small path that was well hidden two miles up the road. With in minustes she arrived at a small building that was reinforced steel, the computer mainframe was difficult and nearly impossible to crakc unless you were really good. Once inside she took a handful of ribbons and tied them around her wiast.
"Need to see just how good these buggers are."
She flipped on her computer and watched as each pair began to make their way through the trap infested woods.
"When they get here they have to catch me and take a ribbon, if they don't they don't get dinner and they have to spar me first tomarrow morning, ontop of all that, they don't get a shower."
She smiled back at him and sat watching as they all ran into traps and dangers through the woods, each time passing them unharmed, they were one step closer to getting to the building.[/B][/COLOR]

The woods are dangerous and traps are EVERWHERE and they are very DANGEROUS. I want at least 3 posts each on getting through the woods. After that we go from there. Thanks!

Vahn: lovely just lovely well lets get this over with. Dawn and Drou are together, it seems i am by myself, Ronyo and Tifa your together just like Mayhony said however they be more of a liability then i want but such is the price of things.. now people lets move out.

Tifa: see you at the end good luck.

Ronyo: Be careful you three you heard what she said.

Drou: Are you ready for this?

Dawn: I hope so...

Vahn: Enough yapping lets do this remember this ain't going to be a day in the park

[i]With that he jumped onto a nearby tree branch and under a nearly invisible metal wire which could have cut him in half.[/i]

[i] Pulling out his Kunai He preformed a trick of his own Gathering his energy inside he released and used his ultimate trick which allowed him to see any dangers in front of him and as he looked around he saw so many of them his jaw nearly dropped[/i]

Vahn: this might take a while..

[i] preforming leaps and bound ducking and weaving he preformed a dance of the leaf for the trees and traps of the forest slowly but surely he had his way safely to small clearing nearby in the middle of the forest.

Ronyo looked at Tifa and smiled. This should be fun and very truth telling, Ronyo thought to himself. Ronyo watched as Vahn took off into the trees and disappear. Ronyo thought about doing the same, but that would have meant leaving his partner behind. That wasn?t something Ronyo was willing to do.

?Vahn?s takin the high road so will take the low road, and get there before him,? Ronyo smiled at his joke and hopped Tifa caught it, ?knowing our dear hostess this place will have more traps then bees have honey. That mean caution will be more needed then speed.?

The two began moving through the woods on foot and I the general direction they were already running in. After a few steps Ronyo stopped and tilted his head. Something didn?t feel right. Which most likely meant a trap. The nature man knelt down and brushed his hand over the ground. It had been walked on a couple times, not much but enough for Ronyo to believe Mayhony had reset this trap a few times. That meant he was set off by simple movement, which a animal or the wind might be able to do. Ronyo went all the way down to his stomach and put his check to the ground. He looked for a wire or something wrong with the ground.

[I]?No wire, but that doesn?t mean the traps not set off from walking. That would leave a pressure plate then, which could be to thin to see until you step on it[/I].?

Ronyo saw Tifa looking around cautiously as well. She was looking at and around the general area Ronyo was looking at.

?Hey! Ronyo what?s that right there?? Tifa asked as she pointed to a small spot on the forest ground.

Indeed the spot was different from the ground because it looked like dirt had been purposely dusted in its area. It was subtle, and very well concealed. If you weren?t looking for it you wouldn?t have caught it.

?[I]Heck, I[B] WAS[/B] looking and I didn?t catch it. Tifa?s ability must have helped her catch it[/I].?

Ronyo moved slowly to the spot and gently brushed a small amount of dirt away. Under the dirt lay a shiny piece of metal. Ronyo smiled and gave a thumbs up to Tifa. He grabbed a tall stick and placed it in the ground next to the plate, to insure no one else tripped it. As he stood up his heel came back an inch from were it was onto another plate. Ronyo heard the click of the trap activating.

?[I]Oh shit![/I]?

Ronyo crouched in a ready stance waiting to see what would happen. He felt the ground under him move and with that he made a back flip in Tifa?s direction. As his arched back passed over the area of the plate, metal spikes shot up and stopped right under back. Ronyo heaved his legs up to miss the protruding spikes and landed in a crouch close to Tifa.

?When she said the where everywhere she meant it.?

The two pressed on even more careful then before.

[i] As Vahn Weaved his way through the traps he came to edge of the meadow but as he got closer his vision started to grow fuzzier.[/i]


Vahn: Aghh! Damn that hurts when i use that ability to long.

[i]Falling to his knees near the edge of the forest his eyes lost their supernatural sight and sense and started to burn and suddenly he was normal expect for his watery eyes and a strange sense of not being alone. Crossing his fingers he started a series of quick finger movements and then with near impossible speed preformed a shadow art move and his solid form turned into a shadowy shade and quickly crossed the meadow with such speed and agility if a person wasn't watching they would have missed it.[/i]

Vahn: i knew all those years working for that shinobi would pay off.

[i] preforming a large leap he entered the second half of the forest and stoped swiftly turning around he saw a pair of shadowy forms.[/i]

Drou: Wonderful...I'll have to use most of my tricks.

Drou saw a easy to spot one & cut the wire disaraming the trap But sending a new one which he stoped with a kick.

Drou: Shes right about the traps.

Dawn: It seems like.

'Great...With her in tow it'll take even longer then by myself'Drou thought to him self."Follow me & let me do most of the work."

Dawn: Just wacth out...
Drou took a stick & trew it taking care of five traps & setting off five more as well."She really me3ans binuness but so do I!!"Drou ;picked up Dawn on his back & Move as fast as he could setting off traps before he got there."Too easy..."Then a seris of spikes came up & drou barely dodged them."Damn.Too close for comfort."Of coruse they all most got Drou In the Family jewels. none the less.

Ronyo couldn?t tell how him and Tifa stood in the race. No one seemed to be going on the same path. Ronyo could only hope that all the tip toeing and back tracking they had been doing was leading them in the right path. Some of the traps were less concealed then others, but that only seemed to further the danger. For the easy ones put you off your guard and made for the possibility of tripping a hard to see one. Tifa?s eye sight had proven most valuable in finding the most difficult traps. Occasionally a wondering animal would give Ronyo an idea as to where a group of traps lay. Although most of the animals seemed to be the wiser and stayed clear of this part of the forest. The trees were becoming less and less dense however which gave Ronyo and Tifa hope for a close end.

?Mayhony is either really brilliant or needs a lot of help. These traps would have taken months to lay,? Tifa sighed.

?I would have to say a bit of both Tifa. Although I think we all fit that category,? Ronyo smiled as he used Wolf Fang to push a bush aside and in the process tripped a bear trap. ?Good grief, she has every kind of trap you could think of. I wouldn?t be surprised if she had dart traps as well.?

?Don?t say that, now were bond to run into one.?

Ronyo sighed and smiled together, for Tifa was probably right. Hopefully safety was keeping them the quicker for not stopping at every trap. They may have been moving at a brisk walk but they were keeping a steady pace. Only a few stops to make sure they were clear. They could only keep going and hope to run into?.well one could only assume Mayhony?s vault. That was the only thing she hinted at being out here the whole time. The two thieves continued to press on.

[i] The shadowy figures come closer until suddenly drou and dawk came running through straight at him reliezing the danger Vahn turned and threw his grappling hook into a tree top and gave a quick yank then as Drou and Dawn came closer he grabed Drou who was holding Dawn on his back by the back of his tunic and pulled him up before a series of traps got all Three of them.[/i]

Vahn: are you NUTS! you nearly got us all killed!

Drou: I was out running them before you yanked me back!

Vahn: That's IT! Your following me I ain't going to just let you pair of dummies get everyone in the forest killed due to your antics.

Vahn: Very well now just becareful there are three traps just below us.

Vahn: Ok you two now come down that rope i have already checked this area out it is moderately safe.

Drou: You checked this already how?

Vahn: I have my ways now hurry we are at the edge of the trapped area i was just about to leave here but the end is rather tricky and requires two people to step in two places at once to make it through.

Drou went down on one knee brecause there was a good gash on his leg form a spike.He took a bandana form his back pocket & warpped it around his leg & stood up very shakly.

Dawn: Can you go on?

Drou: Damn right I can,This is nothing.

[I] As soon as Drou had started sprinting vahn switched to shade mode and blured past without drou even knowing and had blocked and disarmed serveral of the traps before the spike hit Drou in the leg.[/i]

Vahn: If you want to get out of here without bleeding all over the place then follow me to the exit not you want to just be a proud Son of a Bitch then just keep on going the way you were and i will just drag your remains to the end of the course.

[i] Lightly falling from his perch on a branch he set off 3 traps but in mid air his hands became a blur and his two kunais flashed and as two of the three traps shot off a volley of arrows Vahn thriwled his kunai and blocked many of the arrow and a few imbedded themselves in his arms and one in his leg. Quickly reacting before the next trap which was linked to a huge log hung on a rope swung down he jumped on it and slammed his palm into the truck splitering the log into hundreds of large pieces before he drop the forest floor and pulled out the shafts in his arms.[/i]

Vahn: because unlike you i HAVE trained myself to avoid traps such as this and we are going to need each others "special" skills to get out of this place in one piece so are you with ME or NOT?
