Bullets and Octane

I was wondering if anyone has heard of this band, and if u have what do u think
about them. I personaly like the band.

In these rules you will find that at OtakuBoards, we greatly emphasize the concept of having clear, easy to read posts. This includes correct use of spelling, grammar and punctuation. Using abbreviations is not a good idea either. To give you an example you could have written a little on what type of music this band puts out and why you like the music. Is it fun, is it the lyrics that draw you in, etc.

Also, a thread?s main topic of discussion should be something that can spark an intelligent discussion of some form, and avoid spam. A thread creator?s opening post is what kick starts a discussion, so when creating a thread please be sure you come on to your topic with a decent quality post. If a creator starts their thread off with a weak opening, the thread is more likely to attract spam from other members, and could lead itself to being closed. Though sometimes weak threads can be saved by high quality posters. Which in your case it was as both Box Hoy and Athena have posted excellent responses. They are a good example of what we expect. I suggest you learn from them.

[size=1]I have a few songs of theirs that I downloaded.

They're a pretty good band. Gene has a unique voice that stands out among other punk bands. Alot of people would look at their image first though and call them emo. I think they're more in league with bands like Trashlight Vision, Backyard Babies, and The Chelsea Smiles.

They sort of sound like a more dynamic version of Sex Pistols style punk rock.[/size]

[size=1]This is really awesome that other people know them. Bullets and Octane happen to be one of my favorite bands out there today. I started hearing them about this time last year, thanks to working at Hot Topic.

They've got a classic sound to them that is hard to get nowadays, no thanks to this huge wave of emo and indie stuff. Not saying that's a terrible thing, but it's getting old very fast...Anyway, Bullets and Octane bring back the classic hair band rock 'n' roll that I grew up with. It takes me back to Motley Crue, Guns N Rosese, Poison, White Snake, etc. The good stuff. And what bands do you hear today that carry that legacy? Not many, I'll say.

When I first saw their pictures, I immediately thought they were trying to rip off of Avenged Sevenfold, because they were touring with them. But they sound completely different, and definitely have a more rough and gritty feel to their music. It's not too mainstream, and I hope it says like that. Bullets and Octane give off a very strong and intimidating sound, and that's something other bands have lost. I just hope Bullets and Octane don't lose their touch.

I heard they kick major *** in concert too. In fact, my buddy went to see them when they were touring with A7X and said that Bullets and Octane stole the show from their host, haha. And I don't doubt that for even a split second! So, if anyone hasn't listened to them, and you have a MySpace, go check 'em out.

This is most likely be my last post so, I'm like for the "In The Mouth Of The Young" cd if you know were to find one in MN could you please tell me. There suppose to be in St. Paul, MN on Oct 19 2006 so thats fun for me. If you could tell me to would be great thanks.
