...A bolt of thunder strikes a tree only feet away, throwing you into a temporary state of panic, as you close your eyes and dart off...

...Minutes later, you open your eyes, and slow down, panting to catch your breath...

...You soon notice, the ground is made of stone, and not dirt...

...Looking up, you seen ruined buildings in all directions, and hope for shelter, but the skies are so dark, you can barely see...

...Running deeper into the town, you search for a sign of life, before you quickly come to a halt, and look up...

...A massive catherdral stands before you, as you gaze in awe, wondering for a moment, why this is the only standing building...

...Looking to the very top, you blink for a moment, as a bolt of lightning illuminates the sky...

...Opening your eyes, you see the silhouette of a figure, but for only an instant, as you blink again, wondering if your eyes are playing tricks on you...

...Shaking your head, you quickly dash to the front doors of the church, and to your suprise, find its open, but, rather than think about it, you decide the best course of action is to escape the fury of the storm...

...Inside, a figure stands in front of the alter, looking right at you, his face covered by a pair of glasses, and a brown cloak covering his body from neck down, a piece of metal hanging above his left shoulder, possibly the hilt of a sword...

...A quick flashback, reminds you that this was the figure atop the chuch, as you quickly take a fighting stance to defend yourself...[/i]

Hyper always wears a light brown cloak that covers everything from his neck down, mana, seems to be woven into the fabric. On the inside, its pitch black, and, if someone were to touch the inside of the cloak, they would see thier hands pass into the darkness, into the etherneal realm. His midnight black hair, hangs down his back, reaching about halfway down. On his face, a pair of black shades, with black lense', rest, though, the right lense is missing.

Weapon; Rephlexion
This Broadsword is forged of an unknown metal, which, resembles titanium in some properties, but at the same time, also exhibits properties of reflection. This blade, has been coated in a layer of mana, also, which, has brought thermal energy unto itself, and constantly remains at negative two hundred and fifteen degrees celcius, but, the temprature can be altered, to go from absolute zero, to freezing cold, to room temprature, to the temprature of a thermite explosion, and higher.

As for the reflection properties, as photons come into contact with the blade, they will be almost instantly absorbed, and re-emmited. But, this blade holds a few different properties than your normal reflecting item. Energies, such as kinetic, gravitational, electromagnetic, weak and strong nuclear forces, most forms of basic magic, mana, etherneal energy, and almost everything else, can be absorbed, and re-emmited.

Sound, however, will be absorbed into the sword, but not all of it. Smaller sound waves, will be absorbed, and re-emmited, but large ones, such as something coming from a sonic grenade, will not be fully absorbed, meaning, most of it will be reflected, but not all of it.

While matter is absorbed, but yet to have been re-emmited, it can be augmented by mana, and other energies.

[SIZE=1][[Actually, this spar was supposed to be between me, and someone named Doublehex, who contacted me over MSN yesterday. And as for people here OWNing me..thats a joke. I read a spar here yesterday, and never in my life, have I seen so much godmodding, autohitting, and speedhacking, in one thread. Hell, you don't even have militaries here. As for my sword, this character, Hyper, also known as the Ninteenth Angel, Abbadon, was designed, on a different site, to be used in militaries.

Now, there is nothing wrong with my character, as, if any of you were actual fighters, who knew anything about physics, you would be able to do something about my sword, as, reflective properties, are'nt that strong.

Edit; Also note, my sword, does'nt have elements. Its thermal energy, which isn't an element, and simply allows me to control the temprature of the blade.

Now, it should be obvious, that my sword has a decent weakness to sound waves.

Now, I am an RPer, with four years experience, who excels in fighting. Like i've said once before, I am a physics fighter, which, judging by your members, I am willing to bet none of you, know what that is, so here is an example of what you might see from a physics fighter...

...Because kinetic energy, comes to a halt, it would be impossible to move, as you would be trapped there, like a stone statue...

...Hyper, would immediatly, leap forward, mana, spinning around his blade, as he sliced into the area, with a horizontal slash, left to right, aimed at the abdomen, the mana around his blade, augmenting the thermal energy around it, bringing the temprature up, by exactly, one hundred degrees, allowing kinetic energy to exist around the blade, as he cut [foe] clean in half, the two halves still frozen solid...[/I]

Now, you probally call that a godmod, because after looking at your RPers, I see that your good with story telling, but the lot of you can't fight, without godmodding, speedhacking, and autohitting, which I shall speak of, in a moment.

Now, if someone were to use said attack on me, this is how I would counter;

[I]...As the mana blazes towards Ryou, a slight amount of his mana, would swiftly meet the other mana, as Ryou's mana, would form a Chaotic Mirror, which, would absorb the mana, as Ryou, would simply snap his fingers, causing said mirror, to cease to exist, on all planes of reality, meaning it would be an omniplaner attack...

...As Hyper lept forward, Ryou, would create yet another chaotic mirror, as said mirror, would wrap around the blade of Rephlexion, absorbing the mana, before Ryou, would snap his fingers once more, causing the mirror, and mana, to cease to exist, as Ryou, would throw his left hand, horizontally, right to left, the buster sword, Yoshitsuna, forming in his grasp, as he countered the slash, and, because of Yoshitsuna's size, the kinetic energy would be much greater, knocking Rephlexion from Hyper's hand, as Hyper, would be cut in half, which, would be quite ironic...[/I]

Now, because it is possible to counter something, it is not godmodding. Whether you CAN counter it or not, is a whole other story, because, just because the RPer sucks, does'nt mean a move isn't beatable.

Now, onto my points on godmodding, autohitting, and speedhacking.

I don't know what your rules on fighting are, or if you even have any, for that matter, but godmodding;

'Sora smiled at Riku and gave him a thumbs up. "Riku... even though you were better than me before, don't mistake me for the little boy I once was."'

Now, that was a post in a spar, from the character, controlling Riku. Saying what your opponent does, is a blatant, godmod, because your controlling your foe.

'yelling, "Freedom!" His blow had landed a critical hit and had caused Sora to fly upwards, mildly dazed.'

Now, thats autohitting, because your not giving your opponent, a chance to block, evade, nor defend, your just saying whats happening to them. Its also a more primitive form of godmodding.

Now, I won't quote a post with speedhacking, because it would be too long, but, speedhacking, is unleashing to many attacks, in such a short amount of time. Its impossible to unleash 20 or 30 attacks in ten seconds, with melee only, which is what i'm reffering too. Well, actually, if you could start moving near light speed, in which time seems to slow down, it would be possible, but, I doubt any of you know how to do that.

[b]Acheron[/b], RP threads in the Inn are not to be used for conversation or debate; that is for the Underground (if the RP has one) or to be left for private messages. Part a1 was also somewhat rude. OB roleplayers specialize in a style of RP called collective storytelling - our new friend specializes in spars. Just because you see a signup of one style doesn't mean that the signee is incapable of the other.

HyperZeroX[/B], welcome to Otakuboards. This signup is a large improvement over the last one, thank you for reading the rules and being so fast to comply. You seem to have picked up on the most important parts of OB RPG/SPARS, but you missed one thing: unless you plan on having a team / many v. one spar, it's usally customary to put who you're having the spar with, as it closes that spar to you and the opposing player. Once the spar is closed to the two of you, you can invite more players, but they don't post in your signup threads unless you ask them to.

There is no need to be insulting or condescending just because the regulars here have different specialties when it comes to RPs. The spars you see are usually between players who are used to collective storytelling (as I told Archeron) and used to being permitted to use the other player's character for short periods of time. On straight-up RP sites, however, yes, controlling a character for even the merest millisecond is considered godmodding, especially during a spar. But there is no need to condescend just because we're a different style than you are used to.

Sending off chaos energy towards his opponent at random times isn't that much of a rarity, either. That's not to say, however, that Sieg does not calculate as the battle goes on. His brain is quick to think on his foe's battle tactics. However, he is not good at mirco-managing, and when he is thinking on how to better fight the opponent, his strikes become more sluggish, slow and predictable. [/CENTER][/FONT][/SIZE]
