ChibiHorsewoman
I finally got my car back... long involved story... so I figured I'd make a new pointless thread asking people what they have in their vehicles. Or if they don't drive (or even if they do) what's in their purse and or wallet. And maybe tell why Since I started this thread I guess it's obvious that I'll go first. Car Purple Tapestry CD case and a few extra CDs- Because even though I have a perfectly good radio I need excess music. The CDs in my car include Taking the Long way by the Dixie Chicks, The original Broadway cast recording of Wicked, RIDE by Trick Pony, four Ataris CDs and a few mixed CDs Carseat- I have a nearly two year old daughter and NYS law says she has to be in a carseat until she's four feet nine inches and how many 4'9 two year olds do you know? Special K cereal bars- I'm usually running late to work and again I have a toddler. So if she's cranky on long rides or I didn't have enough time for breakfast those come in handy. Two Winx Club dolls- Again my excuse is my daughter. BBQ Lays Stacks- I need other snacks for Abby and me. 1 litre bottle of Squirt- I just haven't cleaned out my car like I should 20 fl oz bottle of orange soda- See above Empty Victoria's secret bag- Again see above Victoria's secret body spray in Amber Romance- There's a guy at work I have a crush for and my car smells kinda funky enough said. WIC Farmer's Market Coupons- I haven't bothered to put them back since I need them again on Saturday. Unopened package of socks- My brother keeps stealing my white socks so right now they're in the trunk of my car. Notebook- I like to write. Now if only I could remember to put pens in my car as well. Magazines- I like to read as well and having those things in my car makes it quicker for me to get ready for work since I'm not looking for them in the house. Stroller- I have a kid and after a while I get tired of chasing after her and telling her to stop squeezing/touching/breaking things. Six dollars- I'm saving that for when I go through the tolls to Albany in a few months. That's all from me.. it's all I can remember just be glad I actually cleaned out my car. So would anyone else like to share?

Sara
I have no car. My "purse" (it's basically an orange leather wallet, on a string, and I keep in in my pocket), contains some cash, my bus pass, my school ID, my library card, my driver's license, a couple punch cards for restaurants I like, an uncashes $3.00 check that was back-dated to several years ago (I don't know what to do with it, so I just keep it around), a ticket stub for Snakes on a Plane, an expired bus ticket with the cryptic inscription Chawl #* Meen over Right, and some Dairy Queen coupons. Oh! And my Geico Quick Quotes Card. They sent it to me in the mail, and it has my name on it and everything. I always wanted a fake credit card (like the credit card companies send my friends in solicitations), but I've never gotten one in the mail. I occasionally get a mini-credit-card sticker from Discover, but that's not the same thing. Anyway, the Geico card isn't actually a fake credit card, but it's close enough. So I keep it with me wherever I go, in the hopes that someday I will be able to use it as a form of ID.
Panda
What's in my car? Now that is a good question! Perhaps it's better that the world doesn't know. :animeswea Labor Day weekend I went on a road trip so there are some odds and ends still in it. I own the most generic car in the US: a Toyota Camry XLE. It seems like everyone and their neighbor drives a Camry. Let's see what weird things I can remember seeing in there. Front seats of car: -My hubby's sunglasses. He looks like Rude from Final Fantasy when he wears them. -Vanillaroma tree. It's getting old so the smell is getting weak. Maybe when it finally dies I'll get one of the ones you stick on the air vents. Snazzy. -Handicapped parking pass. It's one of those plastic ones that you are suppose to hang off your review mirror when parking in those handicapped parking spots. I actually perfer to park in regular parking since there are people who are far more in need of those closer spots than I. Keeping my fingers crossed that I won't have to use them all the time. -Hotel parking pass for the Red Lion on the River in Jantzen Beach (Portland, Oregon). Needed to have that thing to park in the lot for Kumoricon. -Press pass for Kumoricon and for some reason I still have my press pass from Anime Expo in there too. It was in one of the cup holders. -Glove box contains all the generic stuff you "gotta to have" in your car: maps, title, insurance, maintenance log, pens, notepad and one CD compliation containing 3 disks of 80's power ballads. -A bunch of CD's including misc. anime soundtracks, ABBA and the Laagan soundtrack. There are also a few cassette tapes which are also from the 80's. -Garbage bag that printed on the side it states:" Litter and it will Hurt". I know it means that it will hurt the environment but I like to see that statement as more of a threat to the reader. It's more fun to think of some muscle-bound thug showing up to physically harm someone who litters. :p -Box of Kleenex. I have allergies and when traveling usually there is something that sets them off. It's always good to have Kleenex handy. -1 large box of Spree candy. I get a sweet tooth on road trips. In the backseat: -On the floor is a map of the Cortona Inn in Anaheim, California. It's the map the front desk gives you to give you directions to your room. I think it might have slipped under the front seats and finally migrated to the floorboards of the backset. -Two of those roll down window shades. Otherwise the backseat is really clean. I have to get the car cleaned out for another road trip to San Francisco this next weekend. Perhaps I will find even more interesting things in there...hiding...lurking... under the seats of the car. Oh! I forgot the trunk! The trunk has all the generic car maintenance stuff in it like the spare tire, jack, "Fix-a-Flat" and roadside emergency kit. We also carry an EMT medical kit, a roll of paper towels, blanket, raincoat and gloves. Again, like the backseat it's pretty organized and clean since we use this space for our luggage when traveling. I guess that is about it. :animesigh Edit: I just noticed my car is completely void of pandas...weird. :p

Mimmsicle
*is car-less too* I try to keep my wallet and purse/bag as neat as possible because it annoys the living daylight out of me when I have to dig through it to reach whatever it is I needed 10 seconds ago ^_^; So right now my bag contains a wallet, my phone, the local bus schedule, a calendar with a small notepad in it and a pen. If I'm feeling under the weather or the actual weather is really cold, I'll add a pack of tissues as well. The wallet has a lot of cards in it. Credit- and club cards mostly. ID card. I've also got an expired gift certificate card for cinema-going. In the compartment where you put the paper moneys I've got this card you show when going to the doctors' office (if you reach a certain sum - within a years time- you don't have to pay for the following visits/tests until the next 1-year period starts), two movie coupons (50 Kronor off when you buy 2 tickets + 10 Kronor off when you buy a medium soda and popcorn), and an appointment/contact card for a homeopath. Last, but not least, I've had my favourite poem tucked into my wallets for the past couple of years :catgirl:
Horendithas
Well since I don?t have a car I?ll start with what is in my purse/wallet. And even that doesn?t have very much. Just a little bit of makeup I carry around. My inhaler, some protein bars for snacks and a tiny wallet that holds what little money I have along with my student id and drivers license. I also have some pictures of my family in there as well. Now as for my backpack, that?s another story, it?s loaded with books, notepads and all sorts of pens and pencils and it has a section where I can slip my laptop in should I need to carry it with me to school. Though when I take everything it tends be heavy enough to nearly crush me. I swear they keep making books heavier every year.

Arg. (In joke, my apologies.) I don't have a car and I have multiple purses as well as bags, but how about I list what goes on in my college bag? Ruby Gloom Purse--My bus season ticket, with the worst photo imaginable, as well as a few coins and notes is kept here. MP3 Player+Headphones--A real necessity when travelling on a bus for 50 minutes with a bunch of people you don't know. Various Ring Binder folders--My school doesn't use exercise books, so everything has to be sorted into folders for my different subjects. Also have things like file paper and file dividers. Diary--Homework recording, pretty basic. Absolutely adorable 'Grizzly Bear' pencil case Lunchbox+Water Mobile Phone (A Motorola RAZR for those wishing to mock) A Gaara keychain, which is also very adorable. When I have a car it will be spotlessly clean. Though I have always wanted one of those bobble-head sheep from Wallace and Gromit~

Gavin
Interesting, most interesting. Seeing like so many other people, I'm pedestrian by nature, I'll just skip right along to what's in my wallet. Usually I have about ?15/20 in my wallet at all times, just in case I happen to see something I'd like to buy [read: DVD] or in case of emergencies. There are about twelve cards ranging from ATM, to two separate libraries, on in a city 60 miles away, my PPS card, a couple of store-point cards and one video-rental card. I also tend to keep receipts from stuff I've just bought in my wallet in case I need to return it, there's also an I.D. card I recently got to ensure that people understand I am actually 19 and can legally buy alcohol. C'est moi finis.

mangamaniack21
Well, I have a lot of crap in my purse. There's a dollar, some change, buisness cards that I forgot to throw away, a borders rewards card, and a couple of other stuff that i forgot about. Wow, I really need to clean it out some time. It's too big and has too much stuff in it.
ChibiHorsewoman
Wow some people have more things in their stuff than I do. Car Update I had some time to kill before I went back to work yesturday and decided to see if I dropped my mom's cell phone under the passenger seat of my car. Immagine my surprize when I found the first DVD of SailorMoonSuperS under there instead. I've also found that I have tent poles, duck shaped candles, goggles for something or other from a kevlar helmet, small toys, a noise maker from two New Years eves ago. and the assembly instructions for a bike rack that my ex has in the trunk of my car. Hmm what's in my wallet? I'm a slob but here's the run down: EBT card- Yes I'm on Welfare, I get food stamps to pay for groceries. I also work. This EBT card has what may be the best picture I've ever had on a photo ID. Too bad I need to change it since my name is wrong. New York State ID Card- Truely horrendous picture of me in my fifth month of pregnancy on it. Interim NYS Driver's License- I only got my DL back a month ago. Card for someone from VESID Eleven cents I hardly carry cash on me although a few days ago I had five dollars in dimes. Debit Card- this is how I pay for things Wegman's Shoppers Club card- NYS Works card for the computers at The NYS department of labor The reciept from my car repair and inspection Purse A watch- It was my grandma's and I like it, but it's too tight my wallet My mom's cell phone- yes, she knows I have it. Coupon for a free Victoria's Secret very Sexy lip gloss. My car key and keychain A dime tampons- if you need to ask why you're not a woman. A crap load of pennies A packet of Crystal Light on the go Lemonade flavor A pack of Big Red gum my birth certificate Maybelline Shiny-licious lipgloss in strawberry tart Victoria's Secret Beauty Rush Lip gloss in Piece of Cake four pens Excedrine Sinus A small bottle of Victoria's Secret lotion in Amber Romance- My hands get really dry at work. I think that's it.
SunfallE
I think a better question for me would be what?s not in my car. It?s almost been a year since I quit working as a Truck Driver and it still seems like I?m driving around unprepared. I got so use to having the lovely cabinets and little fridge in the back cab. And being able to lift up the top of my bed to get to the storage underneath. And that didn?t include the other areas for storing stuff that you could access from the outside. I pretty much had a little of nearly everything with me seeing that I lived in that truck. Now all I have is a few cd?s a blanket or two in the trunk and some tools that would be useful should I ever break down. I also have my trucker?s road atlas and exit book as even in a car they are quite useful when I venture far away from home. I have some dream catchers hanging from my rearview mirror and the rest of my car, other than some dust as I need to clean it again is empty. Though occasionally when I take Aaryanna along with her cute poochie on a ride somewhere, my back seat will then have her dog?s riding seat that attaches to the seatbelt and thus to her little harness she wears when we are traveling. ^_~

SaiyanPrincessX
My car is in need of a serious wash..and the inside needs vacuumed aswell. XD I never have the time though. Anyhoo, I really don't have that much stuff in my car. About $7 for emergencies, my registration, two umbrellas, some random video game cds that I'll listen too because I'm a dork, some body spray, a little air freshner thing thats more like popouri, some change, fitness gloves, and a giant frisbee in the trunk. I think that about covers it. As for my purse: Beast wallet, a little money, vaseline(I use as chapstick), gum, mini brush, a watch, some papers folded, pen and pencil, & other random objects that I can't remember. Wallet: Drivers license, debit card, card for Asian Feast, some money, too many reciepts from debit card, a little drawing my friend did of a monster back in twelve grade. Probebly more.
