And there she lay in wait. She waited for the first fool that would stray too close to her sanctuary. World Setting: Lord of the Rings: The Third Age: Somewhere Near The White City ~~~~~~~~~ This spar being such as that between a mother and her son-in-law. Name: Zimranae Profession: Necromancer Weaponry: Scores of reanimated corpses, using a mixture of alchemy and profoundly dark magic, steel blade, but only as a last resort. Alliances: Apathetic enough to not care she's related to the Black Numenoreans Species: Human, Female Biography: Not much to tell that you couldn't already guess. Raised by dark men ensured that she would naturally follow in their footsteps. When she was a child, she saw, nearly daily, the corpses of children, and wished that they could come back to life and play with her. After expressing this desire, one of her elders decided that with such a wish, she would make an excellent necromancer. And so it came to pass, that she became one of the most highly skilled necromancers of the age, her skills accentuated by a slightly manic desire to have company. Eventually, she decided that rounding out her abilities with a bit of alchemy was just the sort of thing she needed. And thus, seeking solitude from the rest of her berserking kin, she settled down in a quiet grove of trees and caves. Zimranae has since taken to reanimating corpses that she comes across, or corpses that her doting brothers bring to her just for the sake of practicing. As a result, she only keeps a few of her favorite undead around, lining trees with them, hiding them in foilage, and generally turning a once quite lovely copse into a hellish nightmare for the unwary passerby. Of course, she won't attack directly, not unless provoked. And sloshing through what she considers to be her lake and waterfall, and carelessly felling one of her beloved, undead infested trees, is enough to earn you an un-lifetime of horror, misery, and pain. In short, she is a rather bored yet vengeful person. Bring it on.
