visualkei
I was watching the news today, and one of the stories was about Johnny Gosch. A boy who has been missing since 1982, and was one of the first widely publicized child abduction cases. You can read a little more about the case here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_Gosch In 1999, the mother reported that her son knocked on her door in the middle of the night, and spoke to her. Along with him was somebody she doesn't know. "Johnny divulged that his had been a targeted, not random, abduction, in 1982. His captors had forced him into a decade of child sex-slavery. Johnny explained that as his survival was a potential security breach for the conspiracy, he was currently, and probably permanently, in hiding, and would likely never see her again." Then he left her again. Recently, the mother found some pictures of boys and identified her son. It was horrible seeing those pictures of the tied up boys! There was even one with her son with some brand on his arm. It really gave me the creeps. Now, the photos are still being investigated for authenticity. BUT a sheriff has said that he'd actually came upon those pictures in the late 70's before the Gosch case. Ofcourse my first reaction was HORROR. When I really began thinking about this, it was just too... unreal. Also, someone has claimed to have examined those pictures even before there was an abduction. But, the kid looks like hers. As far as I really don't think the government would cover up something so ****** up, but I am naive. What do you guys think? Do you think her story of her son visiting her is true? Are the pictures authentic? Could there be some sort of twisted nation-wide conspiracy of child abduction?
Morpheus
Not only are conspiracy theories silly, but to believe that a potential security breach would contact his friends or family in person is absurd.
Noreen Gosch, in her book Why Johnny Can't Come Home and on her website johnnygosch.com, continues to assert that her son is alive and in hiding, and to publicize the notion that an international government conspiracy of Satanists, pedophiles, and pornographers is behind the disappearance of the young paperboy from West Des Moines.
Albert Flasher
Thank you, Morpheus, I was just about to post that. Satanists, pedohiles, and pornogrophers, you say? Right-o. The whole thing sounds like the delusion of a distraught mother who lost her son and is trying to convince herself that he's still alive somewhere.
Fyxe
Now... if this had happened in some place like, say, Russia... I wouldn't doubt the forced sex slavery. I mean, a lot of human trafficking goes on around Russia and Asian countries. But, I cannot be sure if this case is legitimate. Sure, she lost her kid. I think she may be slightly delusional, however. Considering the fact she's released a book and has a web site up. Even for a mother losing her child, that's a bit... extreme. Who knows whether those photographs are false, or if they are from previous abductions from this case. We definitely can't be certain. Man, I wish a had a crime lab.
Pumpkin
If you've ever watched Oprah, (spare the hatemail) then you might have seen the one episode where she revealed a tragedy that is happening even more in the united states then in some other countries. I think because we are the "land of the free" that we turn a blind eye to some of these issues, just because its not right infront of our eyes doesn't mean that it isn't there. There is a child sex trade in this country, it just might not be as extreme and public and is in the privacy of some pervert's home. One person was 8 when she was taken, turned into a "slave" until she was 19 when she escaped. It's pretty wierd and twisted. However as far as her story goes, I can see how other people can view that. But hey, theres no evidence to say she's lying either.

Some body took the time to drop photos off in her front door. Who knows if someone really did show up and claim to be her son, or if it was actually some sicko that decided it would be funny to pretend to be her son... What I'm really curious about is whether the photos are legitimate or not. We'll just have to wait and see. I really want to learn more about human trafficking, I don't hear much about it in the US. vegeta rocker
There was just a story on the news the other day that was a recap of an older story about this man/boy love business. These three men paid money for a trip to Mexico for the sole purpose of having sex with boys as young as 7. Crazy effin world
Fyxe
Crazy effin world
Not really. There are fetishes for everything, and there is an outlet for all of them. In fact, human trafficking and the like have been going on for quite some time. It's amazing how you don't hear much about it, though. Considering it's a huge underground industry.
