IGN has put up some images of this amazing-looking Xbox 360 rpg. You can find them at this link:

Also, here is a streaming trailer:

And the much-better looking torrent option:

Next gen is here!

I love how subtle the cel shading is and how beautiful the animation and music are. Even if you don't have a 360 it's worth checking out the trailer. Although the character designs are not breaking any ground in the originality department and the some of the monster designs look a little generic, the quality of the visuals comes close to matching an animated Miyazaki film. Some of the landscapes, in particular are jaw-droppingly gorgeous. This really has to be seen in motion to be appreciated. Stunning indeed.

More people should be interested in this. I suppose it helps that it is now scheduled for US release under the name Eternal Concerto or something to that effect.

The game's concept is just really interesting to me. It's still a "save the world!" kind of RPG, but the whole Chopin angle is really unique. The entire game is basically his dream while he's on his death bed.

Definitely one I'll be watching out for.

It's Eternal Sonata, the US title. I've got to admit, while the graphics don't mean too much for me in games generally, the visuals of this one are totally awe-inspiring - like Charles mentioned, as if in an anime movie.

I can only dream about what future brings on the RPG front to us, but this as well as other recently revealed titles such as Lost Odyssey, FF XIII and White Knight Story can give some very strong clues. ;D

So I must ask ... Does anyone here have this game? What are your thoughts?

Come oooon x3 !!!! There's got to be at least one person xD

I have the game, and I have admit it that Eternal Sonata is one of the best RPG that I played. The graphic is very amazing, its like watching an anime series. Music for the game is very very awesome, and some how it does remind me one of Miyazaki's film. Storyline of Eternal Sonata is very good, it keeps you up on wondering whats going to happen next. Anyway, if you have an Xbox 360 or just love JRPG, then you should own this title, its a must have for fans of JRPG.:animestun
