Aberinkula
How do you create a border for a post? Here would be the basic code for one: I want to know so I can create a design for one. Not just that basic like put lines or a special design much like those that Doublehex makes for RP's. I'm getting a photoshop like progream so I want to know how it works. Thank you in advance for all the help. -Split
Retribution
Do you mean you want to know how to make a 1 pixel border around something in Photoshop? Your question is confusing.
Ellerby
You mean a layout? If so, follow these simple instructions:
1) Make your design in some sort of art program (mine tend to be 400 something by 500 something). Click here for an example. Keep in mind that the HTML will automatically add it's own border (if you so choose) and the image repeats itself vertically if there is a lot of text. 2) Just insert the URL of your image (I suggest ImageShack for uploading) into where I say and the text into where I say and you're done. Here's the code:
YOUR TEXT GOES HERE. vBCode is still enabled inside of here so you can still use tags such as , , [b], and .
3) Just a tip; make the background nice but simple, if it's too busy then it just makes reading the text annoying.
Hopefully that was the answer you were looking for. :whoops:
