How do you create a border for a post? Here would be the basic code for one:

I want to know so I can create a design for one. Not just that basic like put lines or a special design much like those that Doublehex makes for RP's.

I'm getting a photoshop like progream so I want to know how it works.

Thank you in advance for all the help.

[COLOR=DimGray][FONT=Tahoma]You mean a layout? If so, follow these simple instructions:
[SIZE=2][indent][b]1)[/b] Make your design in some sort of art program (mine tend to be 400 something by 500 something). Click [url=http://img53.imageshack.us/img53/5121/backgroundcopymj4.jpg]here[/url] for an example. Keep in mind that the HTML will automatically add it's own border (if you so choose) and the image repeats itself vertically if there is a lot of text.

[b]2)[/b] Just insert the URL of your image (I suggest [url=www.imageshack.us[/url]ImageShack[/url] for uploading) into where I say and the text into where I say and you're done. Here's the code:
[quote]

YOUR TEXT GOES HERE. vBCode is still enabled inside of here so you can still use tags such as [color], [size], [b[i][/i]], and [center].

[/quote]
[b]3)[/b] Just a tip; make the background nice but simple, if it's too busy then it just makes reading the text annoying.[/indent][/SIZE]
Hopefully that was the answer you were looking for. :whoops:[/FONT][/COLOR]
