Now we also have some jerkwad named Fred Phelps who lives here and pickets everything. He is a homophob. Unfortunately wiki has an article on him and I will post it so you can get a general idea on this guy.

This guy has picketed funerals of a lot of people. Now here he has started picketing funerals of fallen soldiers and such. But recently, just now tonight on the local ten o'clock news I hear that he was going to go picket the funerals of those poor Amish children for no apparent reason! How crazy is that?! To me its pure evil.

The guy tried to enter Canada with his hate signs and whathaveyou, and they were confescated at the boarder, so he and his cronies went to Ottawa and burned a Canadian flag... So we made a law called the Fred Phelps Law, which bans Fred Phelps from ever entering Canada again (If he tried we could condem him to a small concrete prison on an island in the artict circle, from where he would never escape_). Anywhoo... I live in the general area around Montreal, which until recently was the home of the sick and twisted Kimveer Gill, the 'man' who recently shot up Dawson College and killed Anastia DeSusa and injured 20 other people. But he's dead now, so I've got nothing, really. Crazy people don't usually hang out around here. I mean, there's this kid at my school who climbed a telephone pole with a trashcan on his head that one time, but that's not really the same kind of wacko. Probably the craziest person in Canadian history is serial rapist Karla Hamolka, aswell as "That Dude With the Cowlick Who Crossed the US Boarder with a Homemade Sword and a Bloody Chainsaw." and that OTHER guy who shot up an all-girls school in Montreal because he claimed God told him women needed to be exterminated. In regard to Phelps, I don't even know what to say, aside from the obvious statement that he should never be allowed step foot outside his door again under pain of life-imprisonment without the possibility of parole. A ****-spouter like that has no valid reason to ever even open his mouth.

In regard to my area, I can't think of anyone off the top of my head, but one nutcase Irishman who comes to mind is definitely Neil Horan, how that man was not defrocked years ago is something of an enigma.

I live in Elk Grove CA. Home of alot of sickos.... more than I can count. Right here in my own community there is micheal nudou (sp?) who tried to re-secularize the pledge of allegiance, by taking out the words "under God".... I have no problem with people taking under God out of the pledge... but who cares? I don't say the pledge, I haven't since elementary school. And I honestly don't care about America, this country is perverse and broken, I don't care about what parts of public life does and does not concern God. And it isn't one mans job to rally for the sake of secularizing anything. Had it been an entire special intreest group like the ACLU or the National Atheists something-or-other I would understand. But give me a break Nudou. People saying the pledge doesnt offend anyone, and no one is, or at least no one should! be made to say the pledge anyway.

Political correctness is overdone in California.

OH AND THE BEST PART.... They want to make a new arena for the sacramento kings on tax payers dollars.... The Kings SUCK! and I shouldn't have to pay for an arena that I can't afford tickets to go sit in!

I think Heavens Gate still holds a spot for me since it was my first knowledge of a cult. I was in Jr High and i couldnt wrap my head around what these people were thinking.

When this happened, SNL actually made fun of it showing Applewhite and his followers on a spaceship making fun of the non believers. I couldnt help but laugh even though i knew it was so wrong.
