visualkei
I like it. Gets me thinking about trying a more crisp realistic style for my next poster.
Retribution
I encourage you two to expand upon your compliments. From what you said, he has no idea what he did right, and no idea of what he could improve upon.
DeGHead
First off, some of the pictures didn't work for me. Not sure why.. they just didn't. I'm wondering, what do you use to color your drawings? And also do you draw from pictures, or are they all your own designs. Excluding the Miyavi picture, which is a great likeness to him. The only thing I can see that bothers me is the one drawing of the girl in black and white. I'm not sure if it's just the angle, or just my eyes, but it seems as if her face is slightly crooked. I think it's the nose placement. I think it should be a little further right. Other than that they all look really good. The way you color is fantastic, not too bold yet bold enough to give detail, and not too soft to make it look blurry. The Broken Record is my favorite. You get a five. Why is this really good work? Next time, try something like: I find the dark themes of your work scary (spiky hair, ravens, dark things). However, the proportions, shading, and coloring of all these are amazing. For your graphic design works, try making the images sharper; right now they look blurry and unfocused. See how that gives cancer specific things he did well, in addition to things he could improve upon? A comment like that helps the artist out a great deal -- instead of a compliment, they have a compliment, what specifically they did right, and what they could do better next time.
cancer
Well, the girl in the black and white was done in charcoal, and I'm pretty sure the proportion is correct. She was posing at an angle. I usually use prismacolor colored pencil to color my portraits. Thanks for the comments so far everyone. Here are a few more graphic design pieces I've created. Also, by the way, the portraits I do draw from pictures, but everything else mostly is my own idea or it is drawn from life.
