"Move, and do it quick!" A sturdy voice said in the background as a blolt flew past a young man's head. The boy turned around to see a man holding a bow. The guy then turned forward and saw the dead demon in front of him, burning.

"A holy arrow. I have been fighting that demon for hours, and you shoot one arrow at him and he fries. Who the hell are you old man?" The young man asked, turning around.

"I am a preist that is traveling this land. And who might you be, young lad?" The preist asked, as he put his bow around his shoulder.

"The name is Anji. I am a traveling hunter. Searching for anything that seems to be of interest. So far, I have found nothing. Sounds interesting, doesn't it, old man?" Anji smiled as he put his sword over his shoulder and walked over to the preist.

"Well, I may have something for you, young lad. It seems that there has been a very powerful demon lurking around. He has ravashed towns, taking the young, and killing them in front of everyone. Soon, I am affraid, he may come around here, and he may even look for someone like you. It would be best for you to get out of here, and stop at no town on the way." The preist gave Anji a bow and turned around.

"Thanks old man. I will be careful. Where are you headed?" Anji asked, watching the preist.

"I am going home, this is no place for the likes of me. And head my warning. Stay out of the shaddows, that is where he lurks." He preist vannished in the blink of an eye as Anji started walking down the path.

"Well, looks like there may be something to do around here after all." Anji said as he make is way deeper into the woods.

Right, you got a little taste of the backstory. So, to fill you in on a little more, there is a powerful demon lurking sound the area, and someone has to stop him, or help, whichever. No one knows what this demon looks like. It will be up to a select few, that may or may not have had a confrontation with this demon to stop him, or help him take over the world by killing. Why he is killing the young, it is unknown, but all will be answered later on in the story. So without futher adue, here is the sign-up sheet:

Appearance: Stands at 5"2, has short brown hair and orange eyes. Normally seen wearing a white T-shirt and a green jacket with a hood. She prefers to wear her grayish brown trousers rather than a skirt due to her tomboyish attidute. Claes also wears a pair of white sneakers. She tends to hang her back over one shoulder.

Personality: As said before, Claes a is tomboy. During her past time, she loves reading science-fiction novels. She prefers sports over cooking. Unlike other lady-like girls, she is rough. However, she is a good friend. To her friends, she is a protector...

Bio: She is the only person in her family, after her parents died in an accident. She has a younger brother, Leon Braveheart (Leon for short). While she was only 10, her younger brother was killed. She only managed to catch a glimpse of the murderer. Rumors has spread in her village that there was a powerfull demon that likes to kill the young and only can be found in the shadows. After hearing this, she suspected the demon, and went to search for it just to avenge her dead brother.

personality: she doesn't really show emotions well.If you manage to become her friend she'll protect you. she not what you call a 'princess' if you get my drift.

bio:SHe's lived her life charading as a human and she became wll known for her kindness(good actor). since she was alone she was taken in by a family and became one of them. the family was actually other orphaned children and she grew to love and protect them. THen one day she had comehome late and saw that all of her family was brutally killed. she arrived just in time to hear her brother final words ," the shadows.. shadows" before he passed away.
with that she grew bitter and cold and went back into a forest. She will protect though. and she went ahunting when she heard of a certain shadow demon.

[COLOR=Purple][B]Weapon: she has two gloves with long and extremly sharp claws built into them. They are hidden in a safe cover inside the top of the glove and released when she squeezes the inside of the glove. She also carries a small dagger.

Personallity: Cold hearted and natured she dislikes humans and will only work with them for certain reasons. She does not trust easily but once she does she fights and protects. As a demon she has a rather nasty temper and usually lets it get in the way of rashinal thinking.

Bio: She is the daughter of a demon clans leader, living in peace with the villages near them they were never botheres till one night while there was a new moon. The attack was unexpected and to her and her clan, with no purpose for they had done nothing.

Her clan was slaughtered and her father beaten to an ounce of his life after watching her mother murdered before his eyes. The villagers began to ask him questions about their children and what her and her clan had done with the, telling the truth and saying nothing her father was killed and branded a liar. For that reason she has developed a growing hatred for humans.

When it came her turn for her own death she bargined with them, saying that she could prove her clans innocence and find the real killer of their children. Agreeing to this they let her go and gave her a time limit of 4 years...that was 2 years ago and she has yet to find the killer of the villages but has heard of a demon that strikes only from the shadow and none have ever layed eyes on it; having a good feeling that this is the demon she seeks she follows her leads and continues her search.[/B][/COLOR]

Personallity: Sky is a loyal pet, she only responds to her masters voice and does whatever he says, without hesitation. Sky would die for her master, nomatter what because of this it makes it hard for anyone to talk to her, inless her master allows it. She is always found lying at her masters feet, inless they're in th midst of battle then she's ready for action.

Bio: When Sky was young the Demon saved her life from a group of demon hunters who slaughtered her family, then he took her in. Since then she's vowed to repay him with her life. She's never left his side since then, and has become his own personal pet. Sky does whatever he asks nomatter how rediculous, and loves it. He taught her how to fight and use her power to the fullest, and for that she loves him with all her heart. Evan if he doesn't love her back, she'll always be there when he calls.

Sky loves her master and would kill anyone or do anything to make him happy.

Appearance: Atoshi has jet black hair and a straight face. His skin is somewhat grey. His eyes are an icey blue color and he wears a large black cloak. His wing span for one wing is the length of one average human. He bares his fangs only when he?s ready to fight and those go well below the bottom lip. His body is a medium build and he wears a black shirt with black pants under his cloak.

Weapon: Atoshi wields circular weapons that he can toss like a boomerang. (Think like axels only one is sapphire in color and the other is emerald.) These blades are sharp and can cut through numerous surfaces. They are excellent in battle against numerous enemies. The only draw back to them is how much power will need to go into each attack.

Race: Demon, Vampire

Side: Good

Personality: Atoshi, for the most part, is silent when it comes to being in public places and around people. He likes to consult the past with himself but that?s usually it. He?s a good warrior on the battlefield due to his lack of emotion.

Bio: Long ago when Atoshi was only a youngling his family lived happily in a village full of vampires. Families were all that the villagers cared about. The whole idea of the honor system was a big thing there. If one family would mess up it would be all over town in a few hours. Atoshi grew up knowing honor to be the only thing worth while.

At the age of twenty he received his first weapons. They were two blades. The idea of killing seemed a bit distant to him then but he became accustom to it after much practicing on night runs with the village. These night runs were mostly the younger vampires going out and scouting for food. It was harsh for everyone at first but the second time was all the better to be satisfied by the killing of another being.

After Atoshi practiced with his blades his mother and father gave him a three hundredth birthday gift. It was a the two circular blades that he own today. Atoshi appreciated what his parents did but only had time for it for awhile. It was then the demon came rushing through the town. The demon didn?t care for the vampires. After all these vampires were the type that obeyed the natural law. The natural law of the land to them was not to disturb too much of the natural world. In fact these vampires rarely hunted humans. They were not fit to fight on this demon?s side. Before they could see it coming the shadowy figure of the demon quickly overtook the town. Atoshi had to abandon his home as his parents went to fight he invader. On the hill above the village he watched as the village was set up in flames.

The next morning Atoshi went to check the village. Not a single soul had survived the attack. All those who fought, even the younglings, were destroyed. This unmerciful being became Atoshi?s target then. But he didn?t feel up to it until he saw his parents? bodies rotting away. He also saw the leader?s body. He was the oldest, wisest, and Atoshi?s teacher. His last words to their bodies were ?Your death shall not be in vain.? Atoshi took his father?s cloak and set off on his journey. Since then he has not been able to predict where the demon would go.[/color][/size]

Appearance: He is slim, but not to tall. He holds alot of power behind a strong sturdy body that has a very good build on it. He has short brown hair that he keeps spiked up into the air. He wears two leather wrists guards, and a light brown leather tunic. He has on a green shirt underneath the tunic. He wears a pair of leather boots that connect with light leather pants. He has blue eyes, as well as a nice tan.

Weapon: A giant breaker sword. It is thick, about three inches wide, and an inch thick. The hilt has a small spear on the end of it. All along the blade there are jagged edges from where the sword has been damaged from the skulls and bones of the deamons he has killed.

Race: Half Human half Demon

Side: Neutral

Personallity: A real go getter. He loves to take random jobs, as long as they pay well. He is known as a bounty hunter of sorts, so, he can be a little stuck up. He is happy most of the time, and even a little sarcastic, but its that personallity that makes nearly everyone he meets enjoy his company.

Bio: Anji was born when an evil demon came into his village and raped his mother. He hated the fact that she has a demon's child in her, she killed herself, moments later, Anji was taken from his mother's womb. He grew up, and became a strong fighter.

As he grew, the man that took care of him began to teach him of his trade. A bounty hunter. One that goes after people and demons that have begun to hurt the people around them. As much as he wants to be like the man that raised him, he cannon connect fully with either the side that he has protected, or the side that he has hunted.

So, he decided to travel the country side in search for an answer. So far all he has found in a legend, one that he has come to see the horrors of. So, his goal now is to stop it, and to make a good bounty off of the demon as well.

[B]Personallity:[/B] She is very to herself. Every since the 'accident' she manly keeps to herself. She doesn't usually like being around people. She finds them nowadays, quite irritable. She will have reason to just yell and scream out them, that or become really sarcastic. She never was able to really 'communicate' with people outside her own race, matter of fact, outsider her own family.

[B]Bio:[/B] When Rumi was only very young, she lived with her older sister and her mother. Her father, sadly, past away in a deadly war unknown to the clan, but the leader knew about and wouldn't tell a soul. Rumi never pressed on the matter though.

When Rumi was 8, and her sister was 13, they discovered that their mother was very ill, and was possibly blind. In her clan, they believe that if you have any illness, you aren't worth much and must be banished. Rumi's sister tried her best to keep her mother's secret a secret from the clan but soon someone found out and banished their mother from the clan.

This banishment left Rumi with depression. She was easily sad and easily distracted. The only thing that really helped her was her elder sister, Sumi. She able to get her out of her most unsocial states with a few jokes, tickles, or anything. But then..something happened that changed her forever.

Rumi's sister and her, banished themselves from the clan after their mother's banishment. They lived on their own in the woods with nothing but their exticnts to guide them. Lucky for Rumi, her sister was excellent with finding out herbs that were good enough to eat and good for wounds. But Rumi sensed that something was different about Sumi.

When Rumi was 13, she saw less and less of her sister. Upon asking her one day, her sister just replied," You are stressing on the matter to much. Forget about it.." Rumi knew something was up and she was going to find out what.

When her sister left, Rumi followed her deep with the forest until they came to a little clearing in the center. Rumi could hear a deep siring voice that sent chills down her spine. The voice was talking to her sister as if 'it' was upset.

"Why haven't you found it yet," the voice said coldly.

"I'm sorry...I just don't...please forgive me, master,''Rumi heard her sister said. She knew that her sister had feel to her knees for she could her the grass fall under her weight.

"I will not take anymore of this," the voice replied. Rumi heard the sound of a weapon being drawn from it's shealth and the slice of the weapon hitting flesh. Then...silence.

When Rumi thought it was safe, she crept from her hiding space into the open. She saw her sister lying there, in a pool of black substance, beheaded. Not only that, Rumi sensed a powerful demon nearby. That day, she swore to seek revenge on the demon that slayed her sister, even if it cost her her own life.
