Anime End of Evangelion

Though i've seen all 8 of the dvd's several times, i still dont understand it. Seele, Kaoru, it doesnt made sence though ive seen EoE several times. Any help here? I'm confused big time.

I think the end of Evangelion is Shinji's realization that all the people like him for who he is and that he breaks the shell he put himself in to block out the others. The last angel is the one who helps him to come to this conclusion. Also, Asuka may be trying to make sense of the past and get over it, but because she kept it inside so long that it drives her to the brink of insanity. I'm not sure if this is right, though. It's only how I interpreted it.

[color=crimson]That's about the best I've ever heard it summed up. The end of the series, the Human Instumentality Project, was so WEIRD, yet I thoroughly enjoyed it....and I LIKED Kaworu...he was so stunning...I don't know what it was...[/color]

what exactly do you not understand? seele sent kaworu to sabotage nerve because gendo not only lost the lance of longinus, but also lost unit 00....

what your probably confused about the most is all the talk about the instrumentality project, well, here is the answer, seele want all humans to merge into their original form, the angel known as the lillum, they must be done by a human coming in contact with adam, but if an angel comes into contact with adam, then 3rd impact will occur, that is why the angels are always attacking nerv, they want to come into contact with thei creator, adam, however, as it turns out, nerv does not have adam, as was pointed by kaworu, they have lillith, when rei came to contact with lillith, all humans became instrumentality, went into their original form, lillith, where there was no pain or suffering, where everyone became one entity, however, shinji did not want to become one, he wanted to live in a world of pain, and so was not merged into the lillum, and so not to be alone, lillum gave him asuka as well for company, so that they can form a neo adam and eve....

I couldn't sum it up better Safer! And by the way, their are only three heads of the Evangelion here, thats Me, Shinji-kun, and Safer.

But how long did it take you to figure that out? Usually after I watch a series more than once I get it better, and I've only seen Eva once, so that might be why I was a little bit confused.[/b][/color]

yeah, it usually takes a few times at least to understand something in some animes, particularly eva, but watching it again and again is beneficial since some parts will become clear and some you may not even have realised before....

oh, and I'm no genius, let me assure you, I just love my anime ;)
