Albert Flasher
*blink* That's really cool HedonismBot! Being Finnish myself (though I live in the states, I go there often) I have to say that Finland is pretty cool. However, living there is something different. The winters are long and cold and dark (hence, the higher rate of suicide in the winter), heh heh. But the people are all really nice and most of them speak English, so whenever I'm stuck on a word, they can usually help me. :D I'd recommend going to Helsinki, and to Pori, if you're there in July, then you can catch the world-renowned Jazz festival in Pori. Tampere, and Turku are nice cities too. :)
I'm Canadian, so I'm used to (and quite fond of) those dark, cold winters, so I don't think that'd be a problem. I like the cold quite a bit, actually. And yea, Helsinki is definatly on my list of places to check out, but I also want to go to Turku and Oulu, and maybe Espoo. And thanks for the heads up on the Jazz festival, if I ever get to go to Finland I'll be sure to try and check it out in Pori.
Ikillion
Take it from someone who use to live in Dallas Texas, you definately want Dallas over Houston. If you've ever been there, it's hard to imagine, but Houston is even more humid than Dallas is. :animesigh
Wow...I really never knew that it was possible to be more humid than dallas. I mean I remember when I first moved here that I though the air was so think that I would be able to cut it with a knife. Then durring winter it gets so cold that everything freezes. Well as for where I would rather be? It would have to be Lake Tahoe near the California / Nevada border. Why? because its just freakinga wesome. My Grandpa had a cabbin up there and my mother and I would go there every winter for Chirstmas. The one thing I remember the most would have to be the lake. On the rare times that I was there durring the summer. There were always people Jet Skiing, Wakebording, and so on and so forth. Besides, when you were up in the mountains around the lake the view there was absolutly gourgeous.
UchihaFanGirl
This is a toughy, but I would rather live in Tennessee. They get warm whether in the summer, and snow in the Winter. And my boyfriend lives there. >> << Heh! :animeswea
Aaryanna
As for where I would like to be? If I had a choice I'd live close to YellowStone National park. So long as I have access to the Internet and an indoor swimming pool I'm a happy camper. And if I was close to the park I'd spend all my free time hiking, fishing and all sorts of things along those lines. :catgirl:
I'll join you if you do. :catgirl: Going there was so much fun and the park was so big there were lots of places we didn't have time to visit or hike too. Probably the only thing I would do different is have a house along the beach as well. Then I could go back and forth between the two places. Now that would be awesome. Sui Generis
Hm...thats a tough one. If I could go anywhere right now, I'd have to say Japan. It's not for your typical reasons of anime or what not, mainly because I want to study the way they play baseball. I'm in college right now playing on a team, and one of my team mates is Japanese (lives in Japan moves to the US in the fall to play) and his style of baseball is so different. I would just love to see how they teach their players. Another reason is, it's just a beautiful country. Even a city like Tokyo (which really could be considered a small country) has a unique beauty to it's crampness. I don't know. It's just somwhere I've always wanted to go, for more than one reason. The reasons always seem to change too. :-) Wow it's been forever since I've been on here.
inactive
Well, I'm pretty content where I am, here in Canada, but I've always wanted to travel to a lot of different places, and experience a lot of different cultures. And I probably will, once I graduate from High School. Well, I guess we'll see... It'll depend on what I'm up to at that time in my life... I guess I'd really like to be in Thailand right now, since my mom is over there teaching English. I miss her. :animedepr I get to go there this February though! :D It'll be especially good, since I get to escape the Canadian winter for a week. :animeswea I'm sure it'll be a great experience. Obviously I'd also LOVE to go to Japan, for obvious reasons. It's not only the anime that I'm interested in though. It's a beautiful country, with a really interesting and TOTALLY different culture. That would be so fascinating. I'd love to see their crazy fashion, and they also have great cusine. :D Sushi... :tasty: There are SO many other places I'd like to go (including, like, every country in Europe), but Japan has been the country I've most wanted to go to for a long time, and I aslo really want to see my mom. So those are my top 2. :animesmil
Horendithas
I?m pretty happy where I am at the moment, aside from a few quirks that seem to be just part of the Utah experience. So if I was to list a place I would rather be, I actually would prefer to have the chance to tour around the world and visit different places before I make up my mind. I want to visit so many places like Germany to see the castles, England, Japan (since my parents took me when I was little and I don?t remember it) Ireland, Australia as I've been curious ever since James mentioned how the capitol there was planned and then built, It's got to be quite the different experiance as far as how a city is built that is. Egypt to see the pyramids and many other places as well. But if I can?t do that I?d be happy joining both SunfallE and Aaryanna in living close to Yellowstone (I?ve always wanted to visit that place) and having a house along the beach. That sounds like it would be a great way to go. ;)
desertphoenix
If there's one place I could be, for the rest of my life, I'd really love to be in Minnesota right now. You're thinking, "What the flux, Minnesota?" Well, that's where the love of my life is living, and I don't think I've ever needed her more than I do right now, due to some really jacked up circumstances that has to do with my being stabbed with a pen twice. So yeah. If someone sends this little lovesick guy to Minnesota on a stroke of luck, I'll lick your shoes after you step in dog crap. <3.
Ah Minnesota, it's where I'm currently living right now and I'm sorry I can't get you here man. Mn is not really that bad of a place even though what people might say otherwise (think of a quiet Chicago). Heck i was surprised to see other black people. Well Minneapolis is cool and there are things to do here no matter what you like. Well as for me, Mn is nice but I can't be here forever. I want to go to Ga Tech for college to go after my dreams of being a programmer or engineer. But most of all i want to go to an Egyptian desert. Kinda odd i know, but maybe that would be a good place to find myself. Wondering around aimlessly in a desert might get boring though after a while, so i would need my music :D. Yea, i would come back to my senses eventually and move back to the states or any other place i might end up
Guest Heero yuy
The UK would be nice. I would go to Japan so I could get a factory sealed CIJ Fender basses...non export. Vist family in Korea...etc. New zealand seems very awesome too.
