OOC: *honks a horn* Time to get things started.

[COLOR=Lime]Kaho, Umi, Tankyo, Ruby Blaze and Kai were all standing around when Kaho saind, "Well it looks like I have no choice but to search for others like us."

"But Kaho, that might be dangerous," said Umi.

"I know. But I want you four to help me. Then we'll be able to find the others and live together in peace,"said Kaho.

"But the humans might hurt us and maybe even kill us!" said Kai.

"That's a risk we must take. So? Are you guys in or are you guys out?" said Kaho.

"Well when you put it that way I guess that I'm in." said Umi.

"Me too." said Ruby.

"I guess if you guys are going to leave, I'm in too!" said Tankyo.

"Don't forget about me I'm all about adventure,"replied Kai.

"Then let's go!" They all headed towards what might be where the others like them would be. But little did they know the true nature about humans and the secrets that they might find.[/COLOR]

Kai slowly makes his way though the woods. He sighs as he notices the sun fading into the distance."Well, the daog may be a little mad for me not being there on time for his normal feedin."

As he walks deeper into the woods, thinking that he is going back to his home, he hears something in the distance. As he gets closer, he can tell that its not just one thing, but multiple. He smiles as he gets closer.

"Wow, maybe it will be some wild animal, or its family." He smiles agian, then gasped as he saw what the culprit of the noise was. There were four of them. All were human in appearance, but with small differences, that were standing out like a sore thumb.

"Animas. What the hell are they doing out here, this close to civilization. I better warn them about the people around here, they may not like it, but oh well." He sighed to himself as he slowly made his way out of the woods.

"Who is there?" The one is the lead said. KAi could tell that she was the leader of the group. MAinly because she stepped out in front of the other three.

"Hey, hey, chill out. My name is Kai Kenske. I am not here to hurt you, but I am sure you don'd beleave me, do you? I mean, I am a human. But listen, I will give you my sword." He handed it over to her by setting it on the ground and stepping back.

"Why are you here, are you leading others here to kill us or something?" She asked, a bit of fear and anger in her voice.

"On the contrary, I am here to warn you. The people around this town aren't to happy with animas. They killed off the last one that came here about a year ago. I moved here to help the ones that were trying to get through. So far, not many have trusted me though." He looked at the ground as he said it.

"An that is supposed to let us trust you? I have seen what your kind has done to us." She said, a little calmer than her previous tone.

"No, I guess not." Kai slowly got on his knees and looked up at her. "I will stay like this untill everything is answered, or untill you decide to kill me, but I will not fight back." He smiled as he watched her eyebrows raise from his last comment.

[COLOR=Purple]Tankyo walked up beside Kaho and said,"Are you really telling the truth? We have met many humans and nearly escaped them without dying. Do you really think that we would trust a human?"

"You do have a point but I am not here to kill you; I only want to help you get through this path without you guys getting hurt," said Kai.

Tankyo turned to Kaho,"He sounds reasonable and convincing. How about we trust him?"she whispered

"Alright. We'll trust you on one condition," said Kaho.

"What?" he replied.

"As long as we have you kept under close watch of Tankyo," she said as she pointed to Tankyo who was the wild cat with a sharp spear thing in her hand.

"Alright. I'll do as you please."[/COLOR]

[COLOR=Lime]"You guys are all with me and now Kai, if you do betray us then Tankyo here will kill you on the spot. But now it's time to hit the road and head off where the others like us might be," said Kaho.

"Well what are we waiting for. Let's go!" replied Ruby Blaze.[/COLOR]

They followed Kai through the forest and onto a clearing. "Is this safe enough?" Said Ruby looking at Umi. "Umi-chan would you please look at the surrounding area? Maybe find some found for us. Since you know best."

Umi took the compliment into check and nodded, glad to be a good distance away from the human. Kaho settled down and started to find rock and stones for a fire. Tankyo looked around as if waiting for something to do.

THen wordlessly she went off in the direction of the stream that she heard with her sensative ears. Ruby looked at Kaho and asked,"Kaho-dono, do you need help?"
She looked at Ruby and shook her head," it's okay I got it."

Then Ruby looked at Kai, who had been sitting there looking at them all curiously. Ruby leaned in closer and peered at his eyes. he seemed to back away but thought better of it. "You smell like dog." Ruby said, noting the scent around the human.

"Do you have a dog?" Ruby asked her ears perking up. Kai nodded nervously, unaware of what he should say. [I]Finally, a brother and companion! My dog is getting rusty.[/I]

"Ruby, don't scare him" kaho said with a laugh.

[COLOR=Navy]Aurora just escaped from another group of humans but was injured badly. her shoulder has a deep wound and her leg is in very bad shape. she was walking about a mile away but was heading towards Kaho But falls to the ground as she can't walk anymore. Cali was ahead by a little.

Cali runs back to Aurora and rubs against her. " Are you okay?" She cried. " I'm fine I just need a little rest" She leaned against a tree that was behind her. "I'll go find someone to help you." Don't you relize there's no other anima anywhere just humans" "But Mamma (She calls Aurora Mamma Because she never knew her own.) I sense Anima about a mile away plz let me go find them to help you" She rubbed against her. "fine but I don't like it" " Thank you Mamma" She ran off in the direction of the group.

About 15 minuites later she came across the group and Meowed very loudly Trying to get there attention.She walked up to Kaho and rubbed on her leg. "Please notice me" She thought.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=Red][FONT=Book Antiqua]Ruby looked up in the air and sniffed, " Cat. I smell cat! And blood fresh blood, with a sense of fear." The cat looked at Ruby and hissed. Ruby growled deep in her throat.[/FONT][/COLOR]

She decided that she was just going to tell them what was going on."Please help me" She said "my mamma's hurt very badly and she's an anima like you, the humans hurt her, will you please help" tears started to roll down her cheek.

"Hey, it's okay. We'll try to help but I don't think that we can. Humans have killed my parents and now I live with the guilt of not leaving when they told me to. Just be okay. I heard that if an anima is killed they go back to that place where the other animas are. How about you come with us and we'll find you mom," said Kaho. "By the way, my name is Kaho. What's yours?"

Kaho turned before she could say anything and looked out to see that the humans realized that the girl's mom's body was gone.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=Red]After they had followed the cat which dissapeared they looked everywhere but couldn't find the cat. Ruby then raised her head and sniffed north,"I smell the cat again. It's this way." after following they found the place where the cat's mother was leaning on. She was in bad shape, her leg was wounded and so was her shoulder. she was breathing hollowly and in short quick breaths.
The cat was standing over her, attending to her mother. By now Kai, Umi and Tankyo had followed along with Ruby and Kaho.[/COLOR]

"Cali who are these people" She asked "Mamma, they're going to help you" She layed down and purred "Mamma please let them" Aurora looked up at them but said nothing as Kaho and Ruby came closer

[FONT=Papyrus][COLOR=Red]As they neared the girl she looked worse. Her face was strained with the effort of staying concious and her leg looked numb which was an okay sign. Ruby knelt down only to be slashed by Aurora's claws. "Don't touch me!" She cried. Ruby didn't back down she had heard her cry out, but in it was a note of despreation and pain.[/COLOR][/FONT]

"I said get away" Auroa cried "Mamma please just let them help" Aurora calmed down as she saw Cali crying. She didn't fight them as ruby touched her leg but she did cry out in pain

[COLOR=Purple]Tankyo approached Cali's mother and touched her leg. She cried out in pain. Tankyo took out what looked like a spear with a long point and set it on top of Cali's mother. "Don't worry. I won't kill you. I will never hurt one of my own kind. All I am doing is that I'm gonna cast a spell on you to heal the vital wounds done to you. This may hurt a bit," said Tankyo as she murmured a small short spell which made her spear glow and she moved it from top to bottom of Cali's mother to heal the injuries. "Is that better?" she asked as she finished healing her.

"It does. I can move more and I feel better," said Auroa.

"I didn't know you could do that. That was so amazing and now you could heal our wounds if we get hurt by the humans," said Kaho.

"It was no big deal. I just hate humans who would do such a thing to another anime," said Tankyo.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=Lime]Kaho went over to Cali and said, "Sorry about what I said before. I didn't want your mother to die but I figured she would to the place where the other anima are."

"It's okay. At least you hepled," said Cali.

Kaho walked over to Aurora and asked, "Need some help up? And if you want you can come along with us to find the other anima like us."[/COLOR]

Ruby looked at Kaho then nodded," Yes a larger group always helps" She had a feeling Cali still did not get along with her because of her wolf blood. Oh well her problem.

They got Aurora back to their campsite and started cooking some kind of food. Ruby said," Forget this, I'm gonna be right back" After they tried to look for food. Ruby ran off into the woods and came back with a dead deer in her hands her face stained with blood.

"Sorry, couldn't help myself" She explained after the bloodlust had gone from her eyes.

[COLOR=Lime]"Don't worry about it. We all have our animal instincts so just be good and try not to kill us ok?" said Kaho.

"Ok, I will," said Ruby as she took a bite out from the deer.

Kaho looked over to Cali and Aurora and said,"I hope that you two can come with us on our journey. We need everyone of us to stick together and be strong to see the other anima like us."

Aurora nodded but Cali was scared and didn't know what to say.

Kaho said to make Cali feel better, "Just relax. We won't let the same thing that happened to your mother to happen to you or any of us."
Kaho then smiled and Cali smiled back.[/COLOR]

Ruby offered a meat to Cali, as a way of a peace offering. Cali took it and ate it with gusto. "Don't worry, I don't kill out of no reason." Ruby said looking down," no one should."

They got settled and started to dig in , Ruby refused any. "Aren't you hungry?" Umi asked. "No thanks, I had my fill awhile ago."

It took a moment till this sinked in and eneryone just kept on eating , pretending they had heard nothing. Ruby jumped up into a tree and went to sleep with a full stomach.

[COLOR=Purple]Tankyo asked," Are you feeling better after that healing spell that I put on you?"

"Yes, I feel a lot better now, thank you," said Aurora.

After Tankyo finished eating she went into a high tree on look-out duty to make sure no humans were coming.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=Lime]"Well it looks like everyone's ready for bed. So Cali and Aurora you should get ready for bed too. I think that the best place to rest is in the tree so no humans could see you in the morning or now," suggested Kaho.

"Okay that's a good idea," said Aurora as both Cali and her went up into a tree.

Kaho flew to the top of a tree and slept up there.[/COLOR]

[FONT=Book Antiqua][COLOR=Red]Ruby woke up and looked around. "Why is everyone in the trees?!" She jumped off her tree and headed to a nearby river to wash off the blood.

"It might attract unwanted company.." She reasoned. Then she went back to her tree only to find Cali looking at her. "My bad, I didn't wake you did I?" Ruby apologized as she went up to the branches.

Cali shook her head,"Just checking were you all were." Ruby lookedover at her," Don't trust us?" CAli replied "What about you?"

"FAir enough." Ruby shrugged, beaten.[/COLOR][/FONT]

Kai looked around and watched all the ones that he had recently met. He smiled to himself then shook his head. He never thought he would be in the position that he is in now, either help them like he said he would, or be killed, or something like that by them. He looked down at his watch and sighed.

"Listen, I have to go. I really need to get home. You are all welcome to come as well. It will be alot safer then staying out here, trust me. No one ever comes to my home, except for family, and they are from a town made up of only anima. That is why I want to help you all. To fallow in their footsteps." He watched them continue on what they were doing.

"Alright. Well, if you all change your minds, please use my sent and fallow me. Just be sure to knock before you come in, It bothers me when I get people that just barge in." He smiled, picked up his sword and started walking on his way back to his home.

[COLOR=Purple][I]'That seems strange that his family is all anima and he wants to follow in their footsteps. It is also strange that he is a human,'[/I]thought Tankyo as she watched him walk away.[I] 'Maybe I should follow him and see what he's up to.'[/I][/COLOR]

[COLOR=Lime]"What to do, what to do. I think we should go. It seems like he's telling the truth," said Kaho.

"I don't know but you think it's alright then let's go. Come on Aurora, Cali," said Ruby.

They all went to the place where Kai had said he would be at. But before they had gotten to the village they put their cloaks on to disguise themselves from the villagers. When they found the house, Kaho knocked on the door and the door opened. Kai was at the door and let them in.[/COLOR]
