On the large and busy island of Raia, all different kinds of animals flourished. They were widely respected and even worshipped by some people on this land. But unfortunately, fur traders, realtors, businessmen, poachers, and even pirates from other lands frequently attacked the villages of Raia, upsetting the civilians to widespread extremes. Some just kept praying for the people's safety, others wanted bitter revenge on the attackers, and yet others were somewhere in between.

Over time, the people of Raia discovered secret myths telling of pirates, of elves, of love and hate, of heroes... But the most appealing of myths to them were those of the dragons. Dragons were often described as "powerful fighting machines" or "trusty partners" or "graceful, magic-wielding creatures", or even "cute and cheerful healers". But whatever the people's opinions on these mythical creatures were, a selected few believed that the vast power of these dragons could put a halt to their attackers' efforts and at the same time provide great companionship for their people.

Fortunately, one of the shamans of the village told his people about a special ore that, when ground into powder and rubbed into the skin of any animal, would turn that animal into a dragon over time.

At this point, certain people who heard the shaman's story had decided that the ore needed to be found and brought back to the village. They would set off with a few different animals to be turned into dragons, and search for the ore in various places.

Unfortunately, the word might have spread to rivals outside of Raia which would try and steal the ore and use it for evil purposes...

So basically, our job is to grab an animal and set off to find the ore before our rivals do. I didn't say this would be an easy task, yet I didn't say it was impossible...

The signup is:
Name: Duh--your character's name
Age: Can be any age as long as it's suitable for a human (no elf ages)
Gender:
Appearance: Picture or detailed description please
Personality: Make it as brief or as detailed as you want
Bio: This should be brief and should basically state how your character heard about the dragons and the ore. Don't make it too long.
Animal: Which animal are you taking with you? You don't have to bring one, but at least three people who sign up need to have one. Also, no two people can bring the same animal.
Animal's Name: This is optional if you want to name the animal you're taking.
Animal Description: This should be brief as we all know what specific animals basically look like. Should also include a brief personality [/COLOR]

I remember that RPG! Unfortunately, when it started, I guess I didn' have time to post, or I completely forgot about the RPG. And just recently I was thinking about reviving some of my old RPGs... Well, Kredion, you've done it! Thank you!

So now, I give the official authority to let this RPG be recreated.

And with that, here is my sign-up. It is different from the one I used in the last version of the RPG, though--I don't really care much for the character I had back then. (Hey, in fact it was a character I used in a different RPG here about two years ago!)

[u]Gender:[/u] Female
[u]Appearance:[/u] Asunan is about five-and-a-half feet tall. Her hair is fairly short and a purplish gray in colour, and this colour is also present in her eyes. She basically wears a yellow shirt that looks a little too small on her, shorts that nearly match her hair in colour, black shoes that resemble hiking boots, and a black belt with a silver star in the front.
[u]Personality:[/u] Asunan is generally adventurous, willing to go beyond what is normally expected, and to explore worlds and ideas that are not generally known. She also has quite a bit of courage, so she'll hardly ever back away from the most dangerous circumstances. Trust is another one of her virtues--she respects people and thus tends to trust people. So if it weren't for the fact that she usually likes to work alone, she could make a great leader. Also, Asunan has a belief that anything is possible so long as fate allows it, and she is overall quite spiritual as well. She has a firm belief in magic, and that is also a subject she knows quite a bit about. This also is most of the reason why she's not afraid of darkness or death.
[u]Bio:[/u] Asunan is a member of a small group of friends called the Star Knights. The Star Knights didn't really do to well in society though, especially since they were notoriously known for practicing witchcraft, which in the small town of Medron was a pretty blasphemous act. But the town mayor didn't care--Medron was kind of on a lonely edge of Raia, so it didn't get attacked that often like the rest of the island did.

The other two members of the Star Knights were Maggie, a calm and beautiful girl who sometimes ventured out to entertain the men of the town, and Katea, who was sort of the "leader" of the group. Katea often provided for the group's basic needs, and was a pretty good thief as well. She also had a pet raven.

When the Star Knights heard about the possibility of dragons, they leapt at the opportunity. So they decided that at least one of them would go on the quest to find the special ore. Maggie didn't like adventure that much, so she wasn't to be the one. She also couldn't keep their home well without Katea, so she stayed behind as well. So it was Asunan that was to go on this quest. This was just as well, as Asunan was the most physically fit of the three, and quite possibly the bravest as well.

So Asunan it was to go on this quest. Katea kind of regretted staying behind, but she made up for it by allowing Asunan to take her raven with her on the quest.

[u]Animal name:[/u] She doesn't really have a name, but Asunan might call her Katea, after her original owner
[u]Animal Description:[/u] "Katea" stands about ten inches tall--quite small for a raven. Her feathers, when the sun shines on them, look slightly purple in colour, but normally they are the usual shiny black. Her eyes are a misty gray in colour, though the colour is pretty hard to determine.[/color]

Bio: She has known about the ore since she was three. Her parents left to find it and they never came back. she's been alone since then fending for herself. now she plans to find her parents and the ore so she can get rid of it for good so no one has to suffer what she went through.

Personality: Stubborn, Calm tempered, Silly and Loyal

Bio: Kredion Lives with the Seer of the Enchanted Forest although his training is almost complete he is always told he has a lot to learn however one of the special metals Kredion was told about of the mysterous ore and reliezing that it might not be a bad idea to have such a ore used to protect himself and others such a ore could be used to make a powerful defender or avenger. Silently warring with he self over it he has finally decided to find the ore and use it as a defensive power against anyone who would wish to harm him or others he loves.

Animal Description: Kofu looks like a Bearded Dragon only about the size of a Large dog and Has a loyal personality and very smart.

Animal's Name: Fenrir

Animal Description: A large, black-haired Hound with dark red eyes and long white teeth. He's sentient, and communitcates through telepathic exchange. He is a brooding, yet intelligent companion whose loyalty is unquestionable.

Personality: Roj is somewhat of an outsider, with a slightly seductive and sultry side. He is often a quite sardonic, dark, and mysterious person. His loyalties are somewhat unclear, but he has a strong sense of honor and pride.

Appearance: Black robes with a grey shirt and dark grey pants. Wears a pair of dark-tinted goggles and a black scarf almost constantly. He is tall and pale with black hair and steely blue eyes. Wears a long knife at his belt, which is his main weapon, along with a long string of kunai knives.

Bio: Roj was intrigued by the discovery of the so called "Dragon Ore", and wishes to imbue Fenrir with the power of a Dragon... but why? His motives are quite foggy, and he rarely, if ever, divulges that information to anyone.

Bio: As a wandering swordsman, Glaime heard many legends about magical beasts like Dragons and was intrigued when he heard about the Dragon Ore. He realised how powerful something like this was and set out to find any bit of it he could and sell it to the highest bidder, No matter who the person was that was buying it.

Eventually she decided that she would change at least one of her animals into a dragon, and it would most likely be Ares. So she went searching for the Ore.

Since this is also my RPG, I'll say a couple of things about your signups...

**I propably forgot to mention this, but you cannot have more than one animal. But since this RPG already started, you can have more than one, but when we get our hands on the ore, only one of your animals will be allowed to become a dragon.

**Also, your animals cannot have special powers until later in the RPG. Sorry, 0ber0n--telepathy counts as a special power.

Appearance: Dark silver hair, black short sleeved shirt, white bear cloak, black boots with silver trim, black jeans, sometimes wears long black gauntlets that have pivot joints at elbows.

Personality: Nice outgoing adventurer, always willing to lend a hand for a bit of money, sometimes fame, doesn't speak too much, smart, cocky of himself, has a dark side you don't want to meet. (No one knows what his original name is but him, ask him and you'll meet his darkside and forget what happens after that.)

Bio: Learned about this through an old man, he helped him and gave him food, thought that the old man was too weak to fend for himself, then he was challenged to see if he could get something, falcon, too cocky to think about it accepted without knowing what it was, then immidiately wished he hadn't, then he called silverwing and went off.

Animals name: Silverwing

Animal desription: A beautiful falcon, loyal to his master (thanks to his strange ability with birds) silverwind is actually a Silver chested falcon, with white feathers on his back, and striped white/silver wings.
